Throughout the day, the louds enjoyed the festival and mingled with the citizens of litwaks, played games and rode carnival rides. By the end of the night, they watched fireworks on a castle balcony. It was also time for them to say goodbye, as Lucy had repaired the device.
"All fixed, and not soon enough. Loud family, you were big pains in the butt, but you did manage to save the festival, and for that I commend you" said queen Lucy
"The fact you got the empire and the cybertronians to agree on something is also very impressive" said Kevin
"It was the least we can do, since you gave us food and shelter" said Rita
"And we kind of destroyed part of the city" said Lynn jr sheepishly
"It comes with living in the internet, never know what the next day will bring" said Vanellope
"We're gonna miss you guys. And thanks for letting me keep Kenny, princess" said Lana as she hugged her super battle droid
"No problem. And I'll miss you too, but I'll get over it. Now back home you go" said queen Lucy
Lucy entered the coordinates in the device and gave it to lisa. The group was engulfed in a bright light, and then disappeared.
"Whoo, what a week" said Ralph
"Think we'll ever see them again?" Kevin asked
The family just shrugged.
The louds ended up back at the imagination institutes auditorium, and much to their surprise, figment told them they were only gone 5 minutes. The group shared their story of the other world and even showed off pictures of all they saw
"A world full of homeless game and internet characters, where they're given a new life, how fascinating" said Dr Channing
"Sounds imaginative" said Figment
"Well everyone, without further ado, I hereby present Lisa Loud, with the prestigious, inventor of the year award for her dimension hopper" said Dr Channing
He handed Lisa the plaque as photographers took pictures of Lisa and her family clapped. When that was done, Leni picked up the machine and smashed it on the ground.
"Sorry Lisa, but you know the trouble this thing has put us through" said Leni
"You know I'm not surprised. Perhaps it's for the best" said Lisa
Life went back to normal, or normal as could be, for the louds. Lisa's award hung proudly with the rest of the loud family's awards. Kenny the super battle droid came in handy against bullies for Lola and Lana, although Lisa did have to disable his wrist blasters, for fear he'd kill a kid. The kids shared their adventures with their friends, who were amazed by what existed out there. Finally, one day, Leni was just being herself, doing random silly things
"Leni, what are you doing?" Lincoln asked
Leni was busy throwing peanut shells over the floor of the kitchen.
"Peanut shells on the floor will make this place fun like that bar we went to in litwaks" said Leni
Out of the window came an elephants trunk which tapped lenis shoulder
"Not now Lori I'm busy" said Leni
"Uh, Leni" said Lucy
"You might wanna turn around" said Luna
She did and screamed
"I knew this would happen eventually, an elephant!"
The elephant grabbed her through the window while her siblings gave chase. Up in her room, Lisa watched the events through her window.
"Seems Stanley escaped from the zoo. I suppose I better help. But first"
Lisa finished putting the final touches on the dimension hopper, which she repaired before stuffing it in a safe under her bed.
"Never know when I'll want another adventure. Hope nasa can find use for these tie fighter and lambda designs. They'll revolutionize space travel"
