All her life Gwen had trained, studied, dedicated EVERYTHING for this day...it was her goal, her passion, her life's aork, her DREAM-

WHY?! WHY DO ONLY OUR CHILDREN AND ELDERLY BURN!?
-That dream had now become a nightmare!
"Please! Everyone! Don't be afraid! Be calm! Uh...do yoga! Or...breathing exercise? I hear charades can be quite soothing! Uh...did I already say yoga?"
Needless to say, the townspeople ignored the half-naked girl and continued to panic as their city burnt around them...
And with it...all of Gwens hopes and aspirations...
Gwen frantically looked around...no matter how you looked at it, the situation was hopeless...
She alone didn't have the power to fight the Rinshi!
But the 'protector' who SHOULD be fighting them was useless!

Actually, he was WORSE then useless! He was not only destroying the town, but generating fear on top of all that!
Dai-Shi would soon be free, and the Rinshi literally didn't even need to lift a finger!
For crying out loud some of them were so bored, they were taking a nap!
That was how little they thought of them...of HER!
'No! No! This can't be happening! After everything I've worked for... All the order has worked for...all of it undone?! On my watch? and to have actually HELPED him do it!' No! It can't be! There must be something I can do-

Gwen eye's widened in horror as the rift grew...and the ancient lock of the order...SHATTERD...
Gwen looked fearfully as the great dark shadow of Dai-Shi emerged...she swallowed her fear and took a stance to fight...
But the great wicked spirt just took one look at her...AND LAUGHED!
THANK YOU FOR FREEING ME!

He continued to laugh as he and his Rinshi teleported away...
Gwen...was devastated...this...she honestly would've preferred being killed! At least it would've been quick, painless and less humiliating!
She gets on her knees and looks to the sky with tears in her eyes...
"Let me guess...this is the part where I say something like, 'at least it can't get worse', which is the que for it to start raining?" She muses out loud to the heaves...

Screamed Ben as he ran by, a stray ember hitting the back of her top-

The singed top falls off and falls into a storm drain, leaving her completely naked...
Tears run down her face anime style... "Called it.", she wept in resignation...

Eventually, the OmN'i'T'r'I'x 'timed out' and turned the boy back to normal so it could 'recharge', then Gwen talked to him...well...by 'talked' I mean she tackled him so he'd stop trying to run away...
After calming him down...
Well... replace 'calm him down' with 'threaten to neuter him if he didn't shut and listen'...
Anyway, she then explained to him about the 'Order of the Claw'...
A secret Society dedicated to protecting the world from evil.
Thousands of years ago, a an evil demon named Dai-Shi rose to destroy humanity...
A group of martial artists banded together and called upon divine entities to grant them the OmN'i'T'r'I'x, which allowed a warrior to wield the powers of thousands of great spirits to aide them.
With this great power, they defeated Dai-Shi and his army of darkness, they then sealed him and his followers into a great prison.
But every century or so...the prison grows weak and Dai-Shi is able to open a rift and slip some of his more weaker soldiers through the cracks to cause mayhem. This would cause fear and panic, which is the source of his power.
The longer the rift remains open, the greater the fear, the greater the fear the greater his power, the greater his power the greater the damage to his prison.
Only defeating his warriors and sealing the rift will give the prison the time it needs to mend itself and reseal Dai-Shi for another century or so...
But now that's failed...WORSE, the mega-spell used to seal him can only be use on him ONCE, after escaping it they become immune. So capturing him isn't an option anymore...
Gwen looks at Ben, "Okay look...you and I didn't start on the best foot and I forced you into a very dire situation without even properly explaining myself. I'm sorry about that, my only excuse is that I was panicking and desperate..."
"But none of that matters now, what does matter is that for whatever reason the OmN'i'T'r'I'x has chosen YOU to be it's champion. You have been given the honor and power to be the hero that humanity needs in this, it's darkest hour..."
"So what do you say?!", She says excited.
"I say your nuts." Said Ben flatly as he starts to walk off.
Gwen looks after him in shocked disbelief, "Whoa, wait, what!? Hey! come back!" She shouts as she runs after him. "How can you say no to this?! Do you get I'm basically giving you the ability to be a SUPER HERO here? That's like every ten year olds dream!"
Ben sighed as he turned back to her, "Look, full disclosure: under different circumstances I could easily see myself jumping at this opportunity, but..." He trails off then sighs.
"Look, I'm tired, I'm hungry, I'm cold, I'm naked, I've had my junk mocked and kicked- mostly by you! -multiple times, I'm pretty sure I need to go to the hospital and I just burnt down most of my hometown. Frankly after such a crappy day...I JUST WANT TO GO HOME." He says with a rather loud air of finality.
"So thanks- he takes off his loincloth and lets it drop tot he ground -but no thanks." Ben- being so completely done with all this crap -no longer even cares that he's naked, he just turns around and continues to walk off...
Gwen started to panic, "wait, hold on! What about Dai-Shi! You really going to turn your back on humanity and not help them in their time of need!?" She pleaded.
Ben can't help but laugh at that, "Me? Help them?!" He looks at he like she's an idiot, "Uh...have you looked around!?", He says sarcastically as he gestures to the smoldering wreckage that was once a peaceful town. "I think humanity has had enough of my 'help' to last a lifetime!"
"To put it bluntly, if I'm humanity's last hope...then were all screwed anyway! So if it's all the same to you, I'm going to throw out what little remains of my dignity, get my naked butt to the remains of my home, give my mom a hug and tell her how much I love her and then spend what little time I have left with family or at the very least with people who haven't kicked me in the nuts."
"In other words: Not you! So good bye and good luck, your clearly going to need it!" With one final huff, Ben again storms off without a single look back.
Gwen was really starting to go pale as any chance she had to salvage this went up in smoke! "Dang it Ben, you can't just walk away from this!"
"Can and will! Oh and by the way? Your not really one to talk about others being small Ms TABLE." Snarked Ben as he continued walking without looking back-
CRACK!
Which was a mistake as a now furious Gwen proceeded to kick him in the balls...AGAIN.
"Right! Just for that were doing this the HARD way..." This was the last words Ben heard before everything faded to black...

"Excellent...yes, you've done well to bring this to my attention...as promised you are released from your contract. You may come home with pay raise, additional benefits and extended vacation time with your family...but be quick about it, I'll be taking things over from here on PERSONALLY..." Said the ominous voice from the hologram...
The 'man' with the suitcase dropped his disguise, the Chimera Sui Generis knelled before his 'boss'. "Thank you my Lord..."
