Hello! This is a continuation of chapter 9, they are still in Virginia…
"Oh yes! It's Ramadan Month I'm so happy to finally witness this in Virginia!" Selviya Says happily.
"What is Ramadan month?" Kuai Asked with Interest.
"Ramadan month is the month where people fast to feel The poor people's hardship of not Finding any food or water!" Selviya answered him.
"Hm that's something Awesome, Yet I don't see the people in our realm celebrating this month why?" Kuai asked her.
"I'm sure that some countries celebrate it, The other Countries I don't know, Aliyaa told me once that some people in other realms venerate and respect this month!" She replied to him. Selviya seems excited to see the Ramadan Decorations in the city.
"I'm sure most of Virginia cities Celebrate this Month, We Left Al Durrah City, and now we are in Al Maghara City, Wow this Place is amazing!" Selviya Added, completely awed by the decorations.
"It's Beautiful indeed, look at the people they are Putting food on the tables on the streets!" He said, she looks at it and she saw people putting food on tables.
"Oh, that! They are celebrating with their neighbors." She explained to him, and he seems happy and infatuated by this. Never he saw people in Earthrealm celebrate like this other than new eves and occasions.
As they walk to wander around the city, they heard people talking and cheering to each other.
All of them Saying happy Ramadan to another, Such words and feelings made Selviya happy. She cannot wait to visit Aliyaa city and Celebrated with her.
"Hello! lovely couple! It's Ramadan why not Celebrate with us and eat dates?" A guy in his forties said he is holding a plate full of date fruit.
Note: Dates is a brown fruit coming from Date palm tree.
"Thank you, sir!" Selviya thanked him as she took one of the dates.
"I'll give it a try!" Kuai says, as he took one of the dates, he took a bite enjoying it, it taste sweet and chewy. Finally, he eat it all and spit the hard seed. He enjoyed eating this delicious fruit.
Moments later a Woman came with a plate full of exotic recipes.
"Here this is The samosa there is Samosa with cheese and Vegetables and it's delicious!" The woman suggested in a happy tone.
"Ooh! Samosa my favourite snack! I'll take the vegetable one!" Selviya replied as she took one Samosa a vegetable one
"What is this?" Kuai asked, It seems strange and new to him.
"Try it! You'll never regret it!" Selviya encourages him, he looks at the plate. The food seems of two types one is thin the other is plump.
He took the thin one which is Cheese the other is vegetable. He hopes Selviya is right, he took a small bite of it. Surprised by the delicious Recipe it's crunchy and the cheese sweetened the recipe.
"It.. Delicious!" He added, continuing to chew the rest.
"Told you, you won't regret it!" Selviya reminded
"Yup you told me so," he said, after licking his lips.
Selviya decided to look at the map, she seems lost in Virginia. She remembers that Virginia has 230 cities. And to each city, it takes 2 hours to reach another one. She is in Al Maghara the second important City the most important city and the home of all Virginia Al Aljhara City.
"I think it will take more 3 hours to Al Aljhara city" Selviya declared.
"What? 3 more hours? That's exhausting!" Kuai Liang Complained.
"Don't worry! We will reach Aliyaa City in no time! I happen to know some shortcuts!" Selviya Added.
"Okay good!" He nodded. They were walking for hours, reaching 2 cities in a row.
Now they Reach The city of Al Khumasiya, why is it called that? Because the buildings of this city have the sign of a Pentagon. A pentagon is a flat 2D shape that has five sides and five vertices. And these buildings of this city have the same things on their Surface. In Arabic, their ancient mother language is called Al Khumasiu.
"Now this city is a sight for sore eyes! Look at these beautiful buildings and their decorated surfaces!" Selviya Says, he looks at it and she is right this city and these buildings are beautiful and unique.
"Yeah.. it is amazing and beautiful!" He Muttered to her, he wonders at this fine piece of art, he wonder who are these people who made this city. What are Virginia and her people? He wonders, who is responsible for this and who takes care of the people? Who and why is this huge country and who is behind all of this.. such a huge big country being taken care of by its cities and its people. He wonders about their history and if there are rebellions.
"I wonder who did this!, who designed these cities, there are so many questions in my head," He said out of nowhere.
"It is the people of course!" Selviya answered him.
"Of course, it is the people, but These designs and decorations are so beautiful, I never see anything like it in Outworld or Earthrealm." He added amazed by it.
"It's Virginia Kuai Liang, not Outworld or Earthrealm" she replied, he know its Virginia but he is amazed and can't help but wonder.
"I don't know about this place's history much unlike Aliyaa, she knows about it she is from this realm!" Selviya continued.
"I get it" he murmured.
"Ooh look there is a restaurant come let us eat Lunch and Rest for a while, we have been walking for hours!" She suggested, for the first time in forever he wanted to eat something greasy something a bit fat, greasy like meat, and Fried potato. His stomach started to grumble.
"Oh look there is a table let's go for it!" Selviya Pointed, he followed after his girlfriend.
Smelling the Food they made in this restaurant the scent is so delicious that his mouth starts to water, Selviya noticed this and chided him for it.
"Kuai! Get a hold of yourself! We are not alone!" She chided him, he felt a bit embarrassed by this. He is an older man how he couldn't take hold of himself.
"Can you blame me Qīn? I'm starving!" He maintained himself.
"I know my love I know! Just get a hold of yourself and I promise you will eat soon!" She assured him.
They reached the table, and they sat on this place. A moment later the waitress came.
She was wearing a Brown robe, covering her hair with a head cover. She is polite and sweet.
"Hello! What can I get for you!" She says, preparing her pen and Small notebook.
"Hey! I would like to order 2 plates of shish kebab, hammus, and Shish tawook please, and 1 medium plate of rice thank you!" Selviya ordered.
The waitress happily wrote down her order, she looks at Kuai Liang waiting for his orders.
"I'm new here so I... I'm with her... so You know hehe.." he awkwardly muttered.
"It's okay! Your friend ordered the best plates in our restaurant, you will not regret it! Anyway, your order will take a couple of minutes.. as you can see we are full of customers.. hehe!" She muttered, then left to give this note to the chief (the cook).
"You weren't kidding the food looked amazing, the smell, no wonder this place is always crowded. I had been to the restaurant in Earth-realm. But it is the first time I admire the view and such!" He expressed.
"Good to know that my love, my other parents told me of this place, they say that I must Try meat shish kebab and shish tawook, and Hammus. It is my first time actually, and I hope I won't regret it. I am not a vegan but I eat less meat and such!" Selviya responded.
"Wait you have other parents?" He blurted, Not believing what she says.
"Yeah my Real parents in this Universe" she replied.
"Oh… okay cool, looks like we're both new to this restaurant!" He added.
"What type of cuisine is this restaurant!" He inquired.
"Arabic cuisine" Selviya replied.
"Never tried it before, it is worth a shot!" Kuai Liang said.
"I did and I liked it! But I never tried this shish kebab thing" Selviya admitted.
"Looks tasty by the smell of it" he stated.
"It does!" She added.
After 10 minutes the waitress came with the order.
"Here's your order And enjoy!" She told, putting the food on the table then she left.
Kuai Liang takes a look at the food, it seems exotic but tasty nonetheless. He took a bite of the meat and it was delicious, he is surprised that this kind of food is deliciously good and tasty.
"This is so good!" He uttered, enjoying the food. He kept chewing and chewing then gulping the food. He was eating in a good-mannered way. He always respect the people around him, and without making a sound while eating, he ate silently, Enjoying the food.
"You should try hammus!" Selviya suggested, showing him hammus. She took a piece of the shish kebab, coated it with hammus then ate it. She is satisfied with this combination. Kuai Liang mimicked her and turns out its more delicious.
"Mhhm so good!" Kuai murmured, licking his lips.
Selviya kept chewing the food silently, she is always maintaining her manners in eating, her
Mother always tells her that everyone will be disgusted by a girl who has no manners in eating, Selviya always has manners in everything, even as an orphan. But her mother always loves to advise her in her way.
The same waitress came with drinks.
"It is on the house!" She said, putting the drinks then she left. It seems like an iced juice with Fruits inside it.
After eating, they drank the juice. taking their time to rest then Selviya left to pay.
"Thank you! Come again!" The owner says.
After heading out of the Restaurant. Selviya looked at the map once more. Alright one more 2 hours and they see Aliyaa.
"So… how much time left?" Kuai Liang asked after finished from drinking the water.
"3 more hours!" She giggled, and he nearly choked.
"It is okay! As I said before I know a shortcut!" Selviya repeated.
Gesturing for him to follow her, she kept walking and walking till she reached a road that leads to the woods. She used her Crystal Silvernium to open a portal to The Al Aljhara city of Virginia. The most important and the capital of Virginia.
"I knew you would do this!" Kuai Liang says. Sightings to himself but he is happy.
After they went inside the portal, they saw a beautiful and dazzling city, a lot of people from a lot of countries together like a family.
What Caught Kuai Liang's eyes are two things, the people and the city itself. He always sees Certain types of Buildings in the cities he wandered with Selviya. The building peaks are ovals shapes with a crescent moon shape at its top (Mosque-shape peak).
"What are those buildings, I always see them in every Virginia city." Kuai Liang asked.
"That's a mosque, a Praying place for men and there is one for one woman too, it's just that Women and men are separated from each other," Selviya answered.
"Oh, so it is just like a temple?" He asks again
"You can say that but they don't live in it, they came here to pray for a limited time then they go to their work" She replied.
"I get it now" Kuai muttered.
"It's also In the earth realm! You didn't see it in Earth-realm?" Selviya turns to ask now.
"No. I have never seen it before, how was I supposed to know it also existed in Earth-realm" he pointed out.
"Fair enough" she chuckles.
They kept walking and Kuai Liang kept wondering at this place.
"Look at the people, despite the differences the race and et cetera, they are one, I wish I see that in earth-realm" he commented.
"Yeah me too," Selviya mumbled.
"What is the secret? I mean surely this place has a dark history and Earthrealm does too but.. despite that, this place looks more like the medieval In Earth realm, Though its preceded Earth realm and outworld in unity and peace!" Kuai Liang says. Selviya nodded at his words.
"To be honest I don't know, why don't we ask Aliyaa?" Selviya added.
"Good idea!" He says.
Although Selviya took a shortcut, it is still long because Aliyaa palace is in the black forest, not the city itself.
"I needed to tell you something, my dear." She Warned.
"What is it Qīn?" He muttered softly to her.
"Aliyaa palace is not in the city, it is in the woods. It's called the Black Forest" Selviya replied.
"Oh okay!" He uttered.
Now they reached the black forest, Selviya uses the Crystal Silvernium as a light bulb, Lighting the way for them to see. And the light is perfectly strong for this job, it shone strongly and perfectly hey can see everything happens.
"This place is eerie and Unpleasant.." Kuai Liang conceded he is concerned about this.
"Don't worry! I know this place like the back of my house!" She assured.
"You mean like the back of my hand!" He corrected her.
"Yup! I meant that" she chuckles.
They pass the road of The dead blackened trees, now they are near. Like really near
"Look be careful, don't follow anything or any sound, this place is tricky and scary you hear me?" Selviya warned.
"I get it don't you worry about me!" Kuai Liang assured her.
They continue walking, and they saw from afar a Black-walled palace, Selviya knew who is the owner of this palace...
"You see that palace over there?" Selviya asked.
"Yup is that Dracula's mansion or something" he joked.
"No, it's Aliyaa's palace!" She corrected, she know that he is joking. Nonetheless, she told him.
"Oh wow! Aliyaa lives in there?" He asked.
"Yup, and The place from inside is really beautiful!" She declared.
"Cool!" Kuai Liang muttered.
As they reach the fence, one of the black knights comes to them, he kept looking at them. After minutes passed he let them in.. only because Aliyaa approved .
"Nice to see you too" Kuai Liang dryly joked.
The black knights didn't respond, he kept walking and they followed him. He entered the hall where his mistress in.. and therein for a surprise.
"Hey, Selviya! Ramadan Kareem! Welcome to my place, oh! How are you guys, hehe" Aliyaa came to them and hugged them both.
Scylla Arouj and Hadi joined them.
"Ramadan Kareem," they all said in union.
"How are you two doing? How's everyone!" Scylla asked. Selviya and Kuai Liang awkwardly chuckles.
"We are fine, how are you?" Selviya and Kuai asked.
"We're great! And how's things in home SZ?" Arouj asked.
"Never better" he responded.
"Good to know! Come why don't you join us at the iftar Table!" Aliyaa suggested.
"Sure we'd love to!" Selviya answered.
While on their way, Aliyaa telepathically tell Selviya that Eveie and Derek are there, she told her to be prepared for them.
"Ohh shoot" Selviya mentally cursed.
"No swearing young lady!" Aliyaa mentally chided her.
"Sorry!" She mentally replied back.
Reaching the hall, Kuai Liang saw new two figures, one of a woman and the other of a man.
"You're back guys!" A new man's voice said.
"And who is the guest of honor?" Eevie says
"Hey... Mom and Dad, this is my boyfriend his name is Kuai Liang" Selviya introduced him.
"Ooh.." Eevie said, while Derek fumes.
"Excuse me?? No! I forbid it!" Derek fumes.
Kuai Liang is not surprised, but he mentally noted that Derek is rude and Kuai Liang is not wrong.
Derek is not happy with his "daughter" choice, He doesn't see him fits for her, and he wants her to end it now, while Eevie is in between, she wants her daughter to be happy.. but Kuai Liang does not suit her daughter that in eevie eyes. She wanted her daughter to marry someone from their tribe but Selviya refused this.
"Dad!! Stop it! We are here to celebrate not to fight and my other parents agreed to this so why don't you!" Selviya muttered.
"Of course, they will agree, but they are not your real parents!" Derek spat, eevie is calming him
"Honey.. calm down!" Eevie says, trying to calm
Him down.
"That's rude if you ask me!" Kuai Liang says, Crossing his arms out of boredom. Derek's angry gaze turns to Kuai Liang.
"Come again?" Derek Angrily said.
"I said that's rude if you ask me" Kuai Liang repeated.
"Derek stop it or I will stop you! We are here to celebrate not to fight! And I agree to this Relationship! I know Kuai Liang is a good friend thus he will be a good husband for your daughter!" Aliyaa chided him, She had enough of this. She snapped her fingers sitting Derek on the chair magically… now its time to Eat iftar.
"Come on guys! It's time for iftar!" Aliyaa reminded them.
At the food table, the iftar (which is in Ramadan one eats after the Sunset Call of prayer). The food is of mixed cuisines, Arabic, Italian.
"The food looks delicious.." Selviya mentally says.
Kuai Liang took the plate and start putting himself the food, Derek Still Staring daggers at him, Kuai Liang pays no mind to it, and chose to ignore him.
Selviya is a bit concerned, she knows that Derek is physically strong and brawny like Kuai Liang.
"Wants some juice?" Selviya suggested, he nodded.
"Yes!" He answered, She pours him some. Derek and Eevie saw how Selviya talks with her boyfriend. These two look like Romeo and Juliet. They always steal a little glances of each other at the food table although they are near each other. Eevie now makes up her mind, she will never stand against her daughter's happiness while Derek he refuses this.
After the food, Aliyaa tells that there is a room prepared for them so that they can stay as much as they want.
"Thanks, Aliyaa!" Selviya thanked her.
"Yup thank you Aliyaa and the food is delicious, but I kind of hope there is a shish kebab" he joked.
Both women chuckle at him.
"There will be a shish kebab next time!" Aliyaa says.
