Lucas was going home tomorrow so we decided to have a night in and watch movies and order a takeaway. We were usually staying at Lucas's hotel, but Dylan was going out and staying at the girls dorm to give Luke and I our room which I thought was so nice.

I hadn't hung out with the girls because I was spending my whole time with Lucas, but tomorrow I was dropping Lucas off at the airport.

I left Lucas at the dorm to flick through Netflix so he could find us a movie to watch while I headed to the store to grab some snacks. I grabbed a small buggy and headed into the store.

I grabbed a few packets of big bags of chips and threw them in the buggy. I went down the sweet aisle and grabbed mine and his favourite. I leaned up trying to reach my favourite candy, but because I was short I couldn't reach.

"For god sake" I whine still reaching up. I was about to ask someone for help when I felt a presence behind me reach up and grab the bag of candy.

"Here" he hands it to me "hey Brooke"

"oh hey Jason" I reply with a smile. I haven't seen or heard from him since the beach "thank you for getting these for me?"

He laughed "it's okay. It was funny to see you struggle for a little though"

I smacked him on the chest "oh shut up"

We locked eyes for a little bit and then I broke it looking away "I haven't spoken to my guy yet, but I will when Luke goes back and I'll find your girl"

"Okay thank you"

I wave it off "don't worry about it. Its what friends do right" he gave a smile and nodded "anyways I need to head back. Luke is waiting for me"

"okay. See you around Brooke" I nod and wave as I continue to shop before heading back.

"You were gone ages" Lucas says as I walk in "need some help"

"Nah I got it" I reply "did you find a movie?"

Lucas nodded "I found 2. I wasn't sure if you wanted scary or not"

I flashed a smile unloading the bags "I can do scary"

"Scary it is. The latest Halloween movie"

"Oh cool I haven't seen this one yet" I grab the goodies and bring them to my bed "I got a little of everything. Might have gone over board, but whatever we don't eat you can take for your journey home"

"And that was a load of shit" I groan as the movie finished "how in the world did they come up with that shit"

"Yeah it was rubbish. Sorry"

"Don't worry, we'll watch something else" I grab the remote "what about final destination. I always love those"

"Sure" Lucas nodded

I put it on and we settled into watching it.

I woke to the morning light hitting my face. We must have fallen asleep because the last thing I remember was watching final destination with Lucas. I stretched out my arms and gave a little yawn. I blinked my eyes open a few more times to see that Lucas was gone.

Quickly realising this I sprung out of the bed in a panic. Wait... did he just leave. Just like that. No goodbye. No nothing. He couldn't have. My dorm room wasn't that big so it wasn't like he could have been somewhere else in it.

My heart sank. Did he really just leave like that?

I wad just about to grab my phone when the dorm door opened and in walked Lucas with breakfast.

"Oh man I was hoping you were still asleep" he smiled. His smiled fell once he properly looked at me "what's wrong? What happened?"

"Nothing" I lied. He raised his eye brow just a little "okay fine. I just.. I thought you left"

"Without saying bye. Oh of course I wouldn't. I could never do that" he assured "I just went out for breakfast. I was going to surprise you with breakfast in bed"

"Oh" I reply "it smells yummy. What did you get"

"I found a cafe that does your full breakfast muffin and a caramel latte" a smile formed on my face "and that's the smile I always look for" Lucas walked towards me. Placed a soft kiss to my lips then handing me my breakfast.

I drove Lucas to the airport. It wasn't that long of a drive, but it seemed like forever. We played some music and talked about thanksgiving and how everyone is excited to see each other again. I was so excited to see the girls again. I miss them so much.

I pulled into the airport parking and parked up turning the engine off.

"I'm going to miss you" I say in clicking my belt and turning to face him "the past couple days were nice having you here. I've missed hanging out with you. I've missed your company"

He reaches out and strokes the side of my face then leaned in a kissed me. I love his kisses. They are just so sweet and loving and you can feel how passionate they are.

"I'm going to miss you even more" Lucas says as he pulled away "these past couple days were really nice Brooke"

"You better get going Luke" I say feeling teary like when we first separated "I'll see you soon"

"Love you" he leans in and kisses me again

"Love you too Luke" and then headed out and into the airport for his flight.

I watched as Lucas walked towards the entrance. He turned back and waved. I gave a smile and then he was gone.
