Time to answer all the reviews we got.

Reviews:

Ross Does Stories: Thanks for the review again Ross. Thank you for the intro, it took so long for me to make it. Yeah it was pretty predictable I'll admit. Wow, thanks for the rating, I didn't think the episode would be that good lol, but I guess it is.

Guster 1: Yes thanks for the review. My goal was indeed to make them both seem balanced and fair so the characters I could experiment with both important and unimportant characters.

Teams:

Screaming Gophers: Alejandro, Amy, Brick, Cameron, Ella, Heather, Leshawna, Lindsay, Noah, Sammy, and Zee.

Episode 03- The Big Sleep

"Last time on Total Drama Island." Chris started. "Twenty-two campers arrived and learned that they'll be spending the next eight weeks at a crummy old summer camp. The campers were faced with their first challenge, jumping off a cliff into shark infested waters, and while most campers took the plunge, a few were forced to wear the dreaded chicken hat. At the campfire ceremony it all came down to two campers, Courtney has experience as a CIT in summer camp, but refused to jump, and Staci managed to annoy her teammates because of her chatting. In the end, the first camper voted off of Total Drama Island was Staci, proving that lying won't get you anywhere. Who will be voted off this week in the most dramatic campfire ceremony. yet. Find out tonight, on Total…Drama…Island!"

(Opening Theme)

(The theme started with many cameras and lights shown all around the camp, with a few animals resting on the camera. A sudden cue card is made as the camera goes through the cabin showing the sign Wawanawkawa, the cabins, and the host drinking coffee on his chair.)

Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doin fine

(The camera immediately flies up to the cliff and plummets down into the water. Two buoys can be seen, a small one and a big one.)

You guys are on my mind

(Zee is in the water swimming away from a shark who is chasing him. The shark manages to bite off his prosthetic leg. The shark immediately coughs and spits the prosthetic leg out and an already swallowed fish floats onto the surface.)

You asked what I want to be, and I think the answer is plain to see

(Damien and Topher peacefully paddling in their canoes smiling, until both of them saw the floating dead fish. An eagle ends up coming down and swooping the eaten dead fish.)

I wanna be famous

(The eagle flies away into the sunset and drops the fish. The scene pans to Dawn meditating with many animals surrounding her, when the dead fish drops on her. She and the animals scurry away in fear. The camera zooms out to show Duncan laughing at the scene and showing Courtney disapproving of his laughing, making him stop.)

I wanna live close to the sun

(The scene changes to a waterfall, where Leshawna and Heather are fighting with each other on their canoe. Both don't notice the incoming waterfall until it's too late and both girls fall over the edge.)

Well pack your bags, cause I already won

(The scene pans to Harold who is practicing his "mad skills" on a very unstable log a bit down the waterfall. Until Tyler, swinging on a vine accidentally collides with him, both flying off.)

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

(The camera follows Harold and Tyler as they slam into the outhouse. Lindsay, who was inside the outhouse, ends up in the collision forcing the door open.)

I'll get there one day

(The camera moves inside the Mess Hall where Chef has his arm in a pot that is a very weird, unnatural type of green as he smirks. He looks back to a terrified Cameron and Staci who are both tied up. They give each other a scared glance. On the other side of the table, Priya and Lightning are doing arm wrestling. Priya beats Lightning and cheers, while Lightning just looks in annoyance and frustration.)

Cause I wanna be famous

(The camera zooms outside to show Noah trying to read a book while Ella is trying to sing a song for him, greatly annoying him.)

Na nananana nanananana nananananana

(The camera pans to the dock where Alejandro is admiring himself with a mirror. On the other side you can see his reflection, he showed a very dark grin to the camera. Meanwhile in the water a seagull with a net wrapped around his neck floating around. A shark leaps up and eats a fish in midair, the seagull seems in the clear until a tentacle grabs it and takes it under the water.)

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

(The camera pans to Dakota who grabs the camera and gives it a kiss. An intern immediately wipes the mark off. She proceeds to type something into a phone, almost instantly a paparazzi appears and snaps photos of her while Dakota poses in all types of stances.)

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

(Suddenly an unknown man splashes a bucket of water and Dakota in midair, scaring away the paparazzi. Dakota looks up in frustration. The man is none other than Chris Mclean who smirks as the gleam of his smile turns into one of the stars in the night sky. The camera pans down to Brick and Sammy about to share a heartfelt kiss, until Amy interrupts, by glaring at Amy, making both Brick and Sammy embarrassed. The camera zooms out to show the other campers whistling awkwardly for the last few seconds of the song.)

The scene opened with Chris walking towards the cabins with a microphone in his hands. He alerted the campers by using an air horn and blew it.

"Ow!" Leshawna had banged her head on the top bunk. "It's seven in the morning." She looked out the window. "Do I look like a farmer to you?"

All the campers exited their cabins to see what Chris's announcement was. Most were very tired.

"Morning." Chris said with a grin. "Hope you slept well.

"I wish I did, but Sammy snored all night!" Amy complained.

"But that was yo-" Sammy tried saying.

"Your sister is right Samey. We all heard you snore." Ella told her, the others nodded as Sammy just looked down in shame.

"Exactly because I'm always right, because I'm the better sister Samey." Amy nastily told her.

"Hi Chris. You look really buff in those shorts." Heather told the host.

"I know." Chris said, giving Heather a wink. "Ok, I hope you're all ready, because your next challenge begins in exactly one minute."

"But that won't be enough time for my sha protein." Lightning whined.

"You'll get your food and protein soon Lightning. Right after you complete your twenty-kilometer run around the lake." Chris explained.

(Confessional)

Cameron-"I really hope Chris does a mental challenge, with all these physical challenges are probably break my vertebral column, aka my spine."

"Okay runners." Chris announced. All twenty-one campers were lined up at the starting line. "On your marks, get set, go!" Everyone went at their own pace, with Tyler noticeably lingering behind.

The camera panned to the hot sun as well as some of our campers running deep in the forest. "Do you know how much longer?" An out of breath, Harold asked.

"Please, keep your distance." Amy told him.

Ahead of them was Heather who was walking alone. "Do you mind?" Heather was accidentally pushed by a currently sprinting Noah.

(Confessional)

Heather- "I don't run, and I definitely don't run in high heels wedges."

As Heather was walking, she came across a face down Cameron, in a stream of water.. "I've never been so tired before, and I think I have a cramp." Cameron passed out.

"Yeah, it's called being weak. Maybe you should try exercising for once." Heather told the unresponsive boy

"Oh, what's your excuse?" A panting Leshawna asked. "You skinny, annoying, oh, too tired for insults."

"Pick it up, people." Chris said through his microphone, riding a moped. "If you're not back by dinner time, you don't eat."

"I hate him so much." Heather expressed. She stepped on Cameron's fragile body as she walked off.

16 campers were in the main lodge waiting for the other 5 to arrive. The campers who had made it seemed exhausted and tired.

"Clear a table! Now!" Brick exclaimed. Noah and Cameron were slung over both his shoulders.

"Whew!" Leshawna dropped to her knees. "We made it." At the Gopher table Brick was giving Cameron. Noah had been recovered already.

"What took you so long?' Courtney asked Harold. "We just lost the challenge."

"I think I'm having heart palpitations." Harold gasped.

"Wait, if they lost, that means we like won." Amy said. Her team cheered including Cameron who miraculously woke up.

"Whoa there, hold your horse's guys." Chris told the campers. "That wasn't the challenge."

"But what is then?" Sammy asked.

"Who's hungry?" Chirs pulled a curtain open revealing a buffet full of food.

(Confessional)

Amy- "When I saw the food, I almost thought I was dreaming. I'd rather take this than Chef's gruel any day. It does like suck to see Samey also eating; she doesn't deserve this meal."

Topher- "Props to Chris for setting it up. Not only does the food look delicious but that was an awesome surprise. I should really thank him later."

The camera changed to the eaten buffet of food. All of it was gone. Many of the campers could be heard groaning. "Ok campers." Chris said. "It's time for part two of your challenge."

"Eating wasn't the challenge?" Damien was shocked.

"What more do you want?" Sammy asked.

"Yeah, the weird twin is right. Haven't we been through enough." Heather asked.

"Um, let me think about that. No!" Chris exclaimed. "It's time for the awakeathon."

"But aren't we all awake? Wait, does that mean we're all cheating!" Zee worried.

"Don't worry Zee." Chris reassured. "This is an easy one. The team with the last camper standing wins invincibility.

"Ok, let me get this straight." Priya started. "The 20k run and the buffet were supposed to make us have a hard time staying awake in the challenge?"

"That's right Priya." Chris told her.

"Wow, he's really good." Priya said as Leshawna nodded in agreement.

"Chris, I really have to give you props. That was such a good set up. You should show me one day." Topher said.

"Don't have to thank me, Topher." Chris said, accepting the boy's compliment. "Move, Move, Move!" Chris exclaimed, as the campers got moving.

"So, how long do you think it'll take until someone's out?" Brick asked Sammy.

"Probably ten minutes." Sammy saw Zee fall to the floor. "Make that five."

The campers were all in the Bonfire Pit. No one was out yet many were already tired and looked as if they would fall asleep at any given second.

"We are now twelve hours in with all twenty two campers still wide awake" Chris narrated.

"This won't be hard." Zee said to himself. He took a sip of soda, and suddenly passed out."

"This challenge is so hard." Sammy said, trying to stay awake.

"It could be much worse, being without you." Brick told Sammy, who faintly blushed. Heather noticed this.

(Confessional)

Heather- "So, my strategy is to get two other campers to form an alliance with me and take to the final three, the only question is, who can I find that is either desperate or dumb enough to do whatever I say."

"Lindsay, what are you like doing?" Amy asked. Lindsay was doing a handstand.

"Trying to get the blood to rush to my head. I think it's working." Lindsay said.

"Oh my, that seems like fun, may I join?" Ella asked.

"Sure." Lindsay gladly accepted.

"Perfect." Heather smirked. "Lindsay, Ella, can I talk to you for a sec." Both girls were doing handstands at the moment.

"Sure." Lindsay said.

"Ok." Heather told the two. "I have a plan to get me and two other people into the final three and I chose you guys."

"Really!" A shocked Lindsay exclaimed.

"You should know that this is a very big responsibility deal." Heather continued. "I am placing my trust in you and trust is a two-way street." Lindsay and Ella nodded in agreement. "So you'll do everything I say then."

"Sure." Lindsay started cheering with Ella. "EEEE! We're going into the final three. EEE!"

(Confessional)

Ella- "Heather is very kind for making an opportunity for me and Lindsay. I do wonder how the final three is going to be like. Guess we'll have to see."

"Speaking of alliances, you know who I think is really cute." Lindsay said, glancing towards Tyler.

"Oh no, no, no, no." Heather disagreed. "You can't date him."

"Why can't she?" Ella asked. "Love is love."

"Because he's on the other." Heather pointed.

"I'm sorry Heather friend, but I don't see your point." Ella shrugged.

"You can't interteam date." Heather strictly told them. "It's like, against the alliance rules."

"There are rules." Lindsay questioned.

"Remember what I just said about trust, girls, of course you can always leave the alliance. If you do though I can't protect you from getting kicked off." Heather explained.

"No!" Lindsay exclaimed. "I wanna be in the alliance."

"Good then it's settled." Heather walked off happy with her achievement. Lindsay and Ella gave each other a nervous look as Ella walked off. A few seconds later Tyler noticed her and sent a wave her way. Lindsay smiled back.

(Confessional)

Lindsay-"Heather said I couldn't date him. She never said I couldn't like him."

"Chris?" Cameron asked. "Is there any way you can drop out of the challenge?"

"You're joking right?" Leshawna asked. Cameron shook his head.

"Yep, just head up to the cabins and you'll be free to go." Chris told the boy.

"Cam, wait you're not just gonna leave us?" Brick seemed nervous.

"He just dropped out of the challenge." Noah remarked. "What do you think he's doing?"

"Sorry guys, but I can't do this challenge, it's so tiresome." Cameron told his team. "This challenge wasn't made for string beans like me."

"Least he admits his faults." Lightning said to himself, before getting elbowed by Priya. Cameron walked away officially out of the challenge.

"Guess we're down a player." Sammy said to her team. She noticed Zee." Or two."

It was now night time. The campers were coming up on the twenty fourth mark. In this time span Dakota, Damien, Topher, and Tyler had fallen asleep on the Killer Bass. While Noah, Leshawna, and Amy were asleep. Courtney was noticeably jogging in place.

The camera panned to Tyler who was looking at both Damien and Topher, until a bear showed up and swiped his claws at them both, flinging them. Tyler stood up and screamed in horror as he woke up, only to see a confused Damien and Topher. He sheepishly sat down.

"Congratulations campers." Chris announced. "You've made it to the twenty four hour mark. Time to take things up a notch. Fairy Tales!" Chris revealed. The campers groaned.

"Please be joking." Sammy wished. She was sitting very close to Brick.

The story started as Chef, who was in a lamb costume, played a nice tune with the harmonica. Chris chuckled as Chef looked his way.

"Once upon a time." Chris started. He was very chill and quiet with his voice. "There was inside this boring kingdom." Amy yawned as Chris continued. "A boring village." Lightning was having trouble staying awake. "And inside, this boring sleepy village filled with very boring children, who did very boring things…" As Chris trailed off, a tutu wearing Chef started dancing around the contestants sprinkling "magic" dust on them. Many of the contestants yawned.

"I can't sha-take this anymore." Lightning suddenly stood up and spirited away, but not for long as he immediately bumped into a tree, knocking himself out.

"What a buffoon." Alejandro mumbled.

(Confessional)

Courtney- "I figured if I kept moving, I could outlast all of them. I just had to keep my eye on the ball."

"We should talk about our strategy." She nudged Lindsay who with a simple "huh" fell back. "Ella?" Ella too was fast asleep on the floor.

"Why is Amy so mean to you anyways?" Brick asked Sammy.

"Well she always prides herself because she's better than me. She always hated me because I was born with her. Amy wanted to be an only child." Sammy explained.

"Sorry to hear Samey." Brick told her. "I didn't know.

"Thanks, Brick. Oh and call me Sammy, but most people call me Sammy because of…..Amy." Sammy said.

"Promise I won't forget, captain sir." Brick imitated as they both chuckled. However their smiles soon turned to horror as they saw a sleep walking Zee walk off. He had his hands up like a zombie.

(Confessional)

Zee- "I think everyone needs a soda in their lives. It just makes you feel so chill.''

The camera zoomed in to see Dawn who was silently meditating in her sleep. Courtney and Harold also asleep not to far away from her. A few seconds later it zoomed out showing Brick and Sammy watching. "I find it interesting and cool how she's able to meditate and sleep at the same time." Sammy said.

"Agreed." Brick thought out loud.

The scene changed into Zee's dream. In his dream Zee was about to go down a magical and rainbow slide. Many of the creatures in his dream were sodas. "This is awesome." Zee said out loud as he slowly approached the slide. However it had turned out that Zee was about to fall off the cliff from last episode, he had no reaction as he went plummeting down the cliff, somehow still asleep.

"This is amazing." Sammy pointed out to Brick. "I wonder how he's stayed in that position for so long." Sammy was referring to Alejandro who's eyes and mouth were painted.

Sammy started calling out for him to see if he was awake but to no avail.

"Let me try." Brick said as he gently poked Alejandro's shoulders. This instantly woke him up revealing he was asleep the whole time.

"He cheated. His eyes were closed." Priya called.

"Get out." A stunned Chris said. "Oh, I've got to see this." Chris walked over to the charmer who only smiled in response. "That is so crazy, incredible, but you're still out dude." Alejandro's expression faded to a frown.

The camera showed Zee being carried by beavers into their home, somehow still asleep. In his dream it showed Zee riding a deer running off into the distance. Both universes had very different perspectives.

A motion had started of the sun and the moon rotating. Eventually it stopped at eighty fifth daytime hour.

The camera changed to show a fast asleep Harold, with a wide awake Duncan. Duncan was pulling a prank on Harold by putting his hand in water. Harold just sighed.

"Oh, gross it works!" Duncan exclaimed, awakening his victim. "Dude peed his pants!" In his sleep Harold had accidentally peed himself without knowing. He quickly covered his pants.

On the Screaming Gophers something was happening between two members. Noah was kissing Amy's ear. They both screamed in horror as they woke up realizing what had just happened between the two.

(Confessional)

Amy- "Ugh, another twerp likes me. I might be more attractive than Sammy but can't I just for once have a bit of privacy."

Noah- "I just want to say that the kiss was accidental, and I wasn't conscious at the time. I also want to apologize to any shippers out there in advance, yeah maybe next time you'll see us making out." Noah laughed at his sarcasm.

"What is the matter with you people?" Chris said coming over to the remaining six. "Come on, fall asleep already!"

"Chris, please. I'd do anything for a drink or some food." Sammy begged on her knees.

"Don't think so." Chris rejected. "Ok you five stay with me, the rest of you go and get a shower for heaven sake. You stink!" Chris told the campers.

Harold immediately rushed off, hoping to not lose his dignity. The others immediately looked in curiosity.

"I didn't want it to come to this. I said that to Chef Hatchet last night, I said "Chef, I don't want it to come to this," but darn it these campers are tough and so I've come up with the most boring, sleep-inducing activity I could find."

Sammy- "Chris is really trying to push us to our limits with these challenges. I really didn't think this show would even be that hard."

"The history of Canada, a pop-up book. Chapter one, the beaver, national symbol, and a real fine hat." Chris read. The campers all groaned in annoyance.

The camera shows a yet somehow sleeping Zee. He was being worshiped by the group of beavers that carried him into their cave. He was lying on a wooden throne that the other beavers had built, thinking he was their leader. Meanwhile in his head Zee was drinking as much sodas as he could. He looked as if he was having the time of his life.

"Which of course was the precursor of the discussion leading up to the war or 1812." As Chris read, Heather had fallen asleep. Before Sammy could react however, a motionless Brick started falling.

"Brick!" Sammy could only exclaim before Brick fell to the ground, ending his time in the challenge. "Why did you have to leave me."

"Time for a bathroom break." Chris announced. "Any takers?"

"I've held it for this long sweethearts. I can go all day." He told the two.

"Are you sure you can hold it for another few chapters?" Priya asked her fellow team member.

"You have five minutes." Chris told the boy as he walked off, before adding. "Long as you don't mind a little company."

"Fine, but stay out of the stalls." Duncan told the cameraman who nodded his camera. The other two just gave a sigh.

"Duncan you in there." The camera man asked from Duncan's stall. He opened the stall revealing that Duncan had been asleep on the toilet.

"And we have news, it looks like Duncan's taken a dive on the can, which means we can have only one winner." Chris told Priya and Sammy who just looked at each other.

"Oh, Priya." An unknown voice came. Priya seemed to be the only one hearing that.

"Who said that?" Priya wondered looking around. Chris and Sammy stared at her confused. She rubbed her eyes a bit to reveal a Chris McLean type head looking at her. She was hallucinating.

"Priya, the challenge is over, you can go to sleep now." The imaginary Chris said to her.

"No, I know you're fake, don't come closer." A worried Priya said.

"But, Priya, you have to believe me, I'm the host with the most." The imaginary Chris said.

"Everyone, don't listen to the talking Chris head." Priya tried warning the others. Chris and Sammy were both confused.

"Is she going to be ok?" Chris said, but before he could react, a thud could be heard. Sammy had fallen asleep. Leaving a still hallucinating Priya as the winner. She just hadn't learned it yet.

"If you're not going to believe me I'm going to make you fall asleep myself." The camera zoomed to see a POV from Priya's perspective. Her eyesight got blurry as things started to turn black. He tried fighting the urge to stay awake, but lost the fight seeing one more imaginary Chris head.

"Until we meet again." The imaginary Chris said. Priya in slow motion, very slowly fell to the ground, she was out cold.

The camera zoomed out to show Chris near Priya. He seemed to have watched her falling asleep. "Well, the official winner of the awakeathon is Priya! The Killer Bass win" Chris announced. He lifted Priya's hand up signaling that even if she was asleep, she had won.

"You have a lot to explain for yourself." Leshawna said to Cameron. Most of her team looked very frustrated with Cameron about something. They were all on the campgrounds near the cabinz.

"I can explain, I uh-, well-" Cameron couldn't explain himself without mumbling from embarrassment.

"I have another suggestion." Amy cut in. "I think we should vote Samey. She's he's so rude and she costs us the challenge."

"I disagree, she almost helped us win, and-" But Brick was cut off by Amy.

"Don't finish that sentence or you'll regret it." Amy sent a harsh glare Brick's way. He immediately shut up.

"Enough everyone, vote for whoever you want." Alejandro responded and told his team. "We don't want arguing do we?"

"Hey guys, I'm finally back." Zee told his team. Everyone was shocked.

"Zee, where were you?" Ella asked.

"Honestly, I really have no clue." Zee responded. "But, hey least I'm back, right guys." The others just shrugged it off and continued discussing.

(Confessional)

Alejandro- "It was a very long and tiring discussion. Many people were choices, but I might have manipulated some people to vote for one special person.

It was time for the long-awaited elimination ceremony. All eleven Gophers were sitting on a log, nervous. "You've all cast your votes and made your decision." Chris told the team. "There are only ten marshmallows on this plate, when I call your name, come up and claim your marshmallow. The campers who does not receive a marshmallow, must immediately return to the Dock of Shame, catch the Boat of Losers, and leave, and you can never come back, ever! The first marshmallow goes to Alejandro…Leshawna…Brick…Lindsay…Ella…Zee…Heather…Noah…Amy.

All the campers who had received marshmallows had done little cheers and smiles. Happy and relieved that they were finally safe.

"Campers, this is the final marshmallow of the evening." Chris said. Both Cameron and Sammy looked more nervous than excited. They both stared at the marshmallow, with Cameron sucking his finger. After a few moments of silence, Chris called out a name. "Sammy." The girl was relieved, but her twin sister was not as she just sat back with her arms crossed. Cameron looked bummed.

"Cameron, the Dock of Shame awaits." Chris told him guiding him to the dock, as he walked off.

"Guess, I should've seen that coming." Cameron sadly told his team. "Well, even with my short time, I'm happy with my progress and all that I've never seen before. And I'm sorry for letting the team down."

"Aw, sugar bun you did nothing wrong, you were just inexperienced that's all." Leshawna told him.

"Take care Cam." Brick said, waving, along with a few others. He waved back as he bored the Boat of Losers. Confessional

Sammy- "I feel bad for Cameron, he didn't even get a chance to shine. He seemed really nice and it would've been nice to have him as a friend."

"I really regret not competing in the challenge. Maybe I could've gone further. But at least I'm not scared of the world now." Cameron stood up only to be attacked by a pair of birds, as he screamed as the boat left in the distance

"To the Screaming Gophers." All the campers were holding their marshmallows above the fire as Brick lead the chant. "And for hopefully more wins in the future.

"Oh this reminds me of a song." Ella remembered.

"Could you sing it for us brah." Zee told her as Ella greatly complied as the team headed into the campgrounds.

"We may just win a challenge any day and it could be to our very dismay." Ella sang cheering up her team's mood.

(Confessional)

Alejandro- "Cameron was just expendable. They all are. Some will be a bit more challenging than others, but one by one they'll all go down. So watch out the hot guy isn't so nice as he really seems."

(End Credits)

Authors Note:

It took a while, but I've finally released the chapter, and I have to say I'm pretty happy with this episode, but there's not much to talk about.

I really hope you like the littles funny gags that happened in the episode, (Priya's hallucinations, Zee's journey, etc). It took me a pretty long time to think of some of those scenes.

Next about Cameron's elimination. Ok, listen Cameron is a pretty fine character, and I wanted to take him farther, but every single character had more plot relevance other than him. You're going to hear this a lot in my notes, but he simply had really no plot relevance. He's already got used to nature and everything, so his finding ark is done. Sorry to any fans wanting him to make it further, it just couldn't become a reality.

Anyways that's all from me now. Thank you all for the recent support, it means a lot, and I'll see you in the next chapter. Reviews would be greatly appreciated.
