Episode 04- Dodgebrawl
"Last time on Total Drama Island." Chris started the recap. "The Killer Bass kicked butt in the awakeathon, when Sammy fell asleep due to exhaustion. The Screaming Gophers took their first loss of the season, harsh. Heather orchestrated the first Total Drama Island alliance by convincing Lindsay and Ella to join forces with her. Even though Cameron could've used his smarts to his advantage and socialized. His cowardness is what got him the boot. He became the second camper to rock the Boat of Shame. Who will break the rules of their new alliance, will Priya be able to stay awake until the end of the episode, and who will take the next humiliating walk down the Dock of Shame. Stay tuned for the most dramatic campfire ceremony yet, on Total…Drama…Island."
(Opening Theme)
(The theme started with many cameras and lights shown all around the camp, with a few animals resting on the camera. A sudden cue card is made as the camera goes through the cabin showing the sign Wawanawkawa, the cabins, and the host drinking coffee on his chair.)
Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doin fine
(The camera immediately flies up to the cliff and plummets down into the water. Two buoys can be seen, a small one and a big one.)
You guys are on my mind
(Zee is in the water swimming away from a shark who is chasing him. The shark manages to bite off his prosthetic leg. The shark immediately coughs and spits the prosthetic leg out and an already swallowed fish floats onto the surface.)
You asked what I want to be, and I think the answer is plain to see
(Damien and Topher peacefully paddling in their canoes smiling, until both of them saw the floating dead fish. An eagle ends up coming down and swooping the eaten dead fish.)
I wanna be famous
(The eagle flies away into the sunset and drops the fish. The scene pans to Dawn meditating with many animals surrounding her, when the dead fish drops on her. She and the animals scurry away in fear. The camera zooms out to show Duncan laughing at the scene and showing Courtney disapproving of his laughing, making him stop.)
I wanna live close to the sun
(The scene changes to a waterfall, where Leshawna and Heather are fighting with each other on their canoe. Both don't notice the incoming waterfall until it's too late and both girls fall over the edge.)
Well pack your bags, cause I already won
(The scene pans to Harold who is practicing his "mad skills" on a very unstable log a bit down the waterfall. Until Tyler, swinging on a vine accidentally collides with him, both flying off.)
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
(The camera follows Harold and Tyler as they slam into the outhouse. Lindsay, who was inside the outhouse, ends up in the collision forcing the door open.)
I'll get there one day
(The camera moves inside the Mess Hall where Chef has his arm in a pot that is a very weird, unnatural type of green as he smirks. He looks back to a terrified Cameron and Staci who are both tied up. They give each other a scared glance. On the other side of the table, Priya and Lightning are doing arm wrestling. Priya beats Lightning and cheers, while Lightning just looks in annoyance and frustration.)
Cause I wanna be famous
(The camera zooms outside to show Noah trying to read a book while Ella is trying to sing a song for him, greatly annoying him.)
Na nananana nanananana nananananana
(The camera pans to the dock where Alejandro is admiring himself with a mirror. On the other side you can see his reflection, he showed a very dark grin to the camera. Meanwhile in the water a seagull with a net wrapped around his neck floating around. A shark leaps up and eats a fish in midair, the seagull seems in the clear until a tentacle grabs it and takes it under the water.)
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
(The camera pans to Dakota who grabs the camera and gives it a kiss. An intern immediately wipes the mark off. She proceeds to type something into a phone, almost instantly a paparazzi appears and snaps photos of her while Dakota poses in all types of stances.)
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
(Suddenly an unknown man splashes a bucket of water and Dakota in midair, scaring away the paparazzi. Dakota looks up in frustration. The man is none other than Chris Mclean who smirks as the gleam of his smile turns into one of the stars in the night sky. The camera pans down to Brick and Sammy about to share a heartfelt kiss, until Amy interrupts, by glaring at Amy, making both Brick and Sammy embarrassed. The camera zooms out to show the other campers whistling awkwardly for the last few seconds of the song.)
The scene opened up to the Mess Hall, where all the remaining campers were eating their breakfast. While the Gophers were all chatting happily, the Bass looked tired and exhausted.
"Duncan. You look like, death dude." Chris told the bad boy.
"Stuff it." Duncan responded.
"Harold snored all night." Courtney explained.
"He's messed with my beauty sleep." Dakota glumly said.
"Wow, four nights with no sleep." He was shocked. "How much are you hurting dude?"
"Wanna find out." Duncan threatened holding up his fist.
"No, no it's cool." Chris reassured. Duncan's whole team hid under the team, afraid of him and what he could do to Chris.
The door lodge opened, showing Harold at the door. Someone had drawn a mustache on his face, presumably when he was sleeping. He imagined the other campers gasping and amazed at his mustache, but in reality, they were all giggling and snickering.
"Ok, what?" Harold asked his still snickering team.
"Someone drew on your face." Topher said, handing him a spoon, for him to look into.
"Hey, sweet stache." Harold admired.
"Hey everyone." Chris pointed the campers attention to him. "It's Priya." The Bass clapped for their teammate. She didn't seem tired, it looked as if she had recovered quickly. The Gophers just looked deadpanned.
"How did you recover so quickly?" Dakota asked.
"Yeah, we thought you'd be too tired to even walk into the Mess Hall." Damien added.
"Well, I have been training in-case a show like this happened." Priya told her team. "All the training I've done has probably helped me in the long run."
(Confessional)
Priya- "Guess all the training I did really helped, in the long run. Thanks Mom and Dad."
"So, let's go over the rules one more time." Heather told her alliance. "Number one, I am the captain of this alliance, so I get to make the rules. Number two." Lindsay and Ella thought for a few moments.
"Breaking the rules can result in getting kicked out of the alliance." Lindsay replied.
"Good." Heather said. "Number three, I can borrow your stuff without asking, but my stuff is strictly off limits."
"I don't know about that last rule." Lindsay questioned.
"That's cool, I can change it. I can also find someone else to take to the final 3 with me." Heather threatened. Both girls shook their heads.
"Please may you keep Heather; it seems important to the alliance?" Ella requested.
"Good, wanna have some fun." Both nodded to Heather's reply.
"Hey fish heads. I liked you better when the chatty girl was still here." Heather taunted. A piece of gruel was thrown at her. "Missed me." It hit an already tired Sammy in the face. The shot is revealed to have been thrown by Courtney, who's worried expression turns into a glare.
"Listen up, your next challenge begins in ten minutes and be prepared to bring it." Chris announced.
The scene panned to the remaining 20 campers standing inside a dodgeball court, with Duncan noticeably coming late. He collapsed on his team's bench.
"Wake me up." He warned. "And it'll be the last thing you do." His team looked at each other nervously, however Courtney just rolled her eyes.
"This is all your fault, you know." Courtney harshly told Harold. "You and your snoring face."
"It's called a medical condition." Harold corrected. "Gosh!" Before the argument could ensue, Chef had blown a whistle for them to be quiet. He walked to Chris rolling his eyes the whole way.
"The first challenge is the classic game of Dodgeball. The first rule to dodgeball is-"
"Do not talk about dodgeball." Noah commented. He and Zee shared a chuckle.
"As I was saying." Chris continued. "If you get hit with the ball." He threw his ball at Courtney.
"Ow! You can't do that," Courtney argued.
"If you catch the ball, the thrower gets sent out and the catcher gets to bring in another team member out on the court." Chris explained.
"Throwing balls." Noah was deadpanned. "Gee, another mentally challenging test."
"I know right." Lindsay said. Noah and Zee gave each other an awkward look.
"Ok, now Topher try to hit me." Chris threw the ball at Topher who caught it.
"Nice throw Chris." Topher complimented.
"If you're holding a ball, you can use it to deflect the ball." Chris started explaining. "But if it knocks the ball out of your hands you're out."
"So, what do I do again when the ball comes at me?" Lindsay asked.
"You dodge." Topher threw his ball back at Chris who deflected it with his own ball, hitting Lindsay. Her team cringed at her pain." You were supposed to dodge."
"Ow! Right." Lindsay had a bruise on her forehead from the shot.
"You have one minute till game time." The host told the campers. "And Gophers, you'll have to sit someone out each game."
"Okay, we can't get lazy, the Killer Bass are gonna be trying extra hard to catch up." Heather told her team. "Who wants to sit the first one out with sleeping beauty here?"
"All right." Noah gave in. "I'll volunteer. Now let's see all you keeners get out there and dodge."
Both teams were on the court ready to go. Chef took a glance at the campers that were playing.
"Bring it on fishies." Heather taunted. "Otherwise winning again won't be so satisfying."
"Oh, you're going down, we're gonna bring the dinner to the table and then we're gonna eat it!" Tyler exclaimed. His team gave him a strange look, with Courtney facepalming herself.
"Both teams ready." Chris announced. "Best of five games wins, now let's dodge some balls." Chef blew the whistle starting the dodgeball game. Each team's benched members were cheering for the ones playing.
The two teams had collected their balls, Zee threw the first shot at Tyler it missed. Tyler scowled as he proceeded to do a spin move, accidentally throwing his ball at Dakota.
"Ooh, that'll smear the make-up." Chris commented.
"Great job, now let's see if you can hit someone on their team." Courtney yelled. Before he could react, Brick ran up to Tyler with a war crime, and threw his ball at him, sending him into the wall.
"Ow, darn it!" Tyler groaned. Chef blew his whistle signaling he was out. The Gophers cheered in delight. Zee and Brick gave each other a high five. Meanwhile Tyler shamefully walked back to his team's bench, with Dakota giving him a smirk.
(Confessional)
Damien: "How is he ok? The ball seemed as if it was going more than 200 mph, and his reaction was just a simple "ow"? That's not how physics even works, this show is completely off the rails."
"Time to unleash my wicked skills." Harold said.
"Yeah, then ba-ring it string bean let's see what you got." Leshawna seemed unimpressed. Harold started doing some of his karate moves, ending with him throwing the ball into the ground. The ball just slowly rolled into the Gophers side. Leshawna picked the ball and with a smirk threw it at the high pitched screaming Harold. The ball hit his head, sending him sliding down the court, hitting the glass. Chef blew the whistle signaling Harold's time in the game had come to an end.
"And that's how we roll." Leshawna replied. The Gophers cheered and clapped.
"Can someone remind me what I'm supposed to do with this again?" Lindsay asked. A ball suddenly hit her in the head, Priya is revealed to be the one who threw it. Her team cheered as Chef blew his whistle, while they did so, Tyler sent a wave Lindsay's way who gladly waved back. Heather noticed this and threw her ball at Tyler, it hit him in the kiwis.
"Mommy!" Tyler squealed in pain.
"Ouch, that had to hurt." Damien added.
"What the heck was that?" An angry Courtney asked. "Ref he's not even on the court."
"Oopsies slipped." Heather defended. Courtney just grunted and threw her ball at Heather; however, Alejandro caught it just in time.
"I'd do anything for a lady like you, senorita." Alejandro told the mean girl. She just rolled her eyes. Meanwhile Chef blew his whistle signaling Courtney was out of the game.
Because Alejandro caught the ball, someone could go back into the game. Chef pointed Sammy in. Sammy sleepily got up from her spot on the bleachers and walked onto the court. Immediately she was hit by a ball from Topher. Brick had also been hit in the process.
"Oh, sorry, are you ok?" Topher asked.
"Yeah, I'm ok." Sammy replied.
"Way to help us lose Samey." Amy rudely told her sister.
Both teams had two members left in the game. It was Zee and Leshawna vs Topher and Priya. Topher and Priya both threw their balls at Leshawna. Although she blocked the first one, the other ball hit her in the stomach. It was all down to Zee. Topher and Priya, both gave him menacing smirks.
"Easy out guys, easy out." Courtney told her team.
"Hey where'd I put my soda container?" Zee asked himself, he then started digging through all the balls on his side, throwing it onto the other side of the court. Priya and Topher had to try and dodge all the balls that were coming at them.
"Priya watch out." Topher tried warning Priya as a ball came her way. She didn't react on time as the ball hit her in the head knocking her down.
"Those were some tough balls to dodge." Chris commented. Topher spotted a ball, he picked it up and threw it directly at Zee.
"Hey, I found it guys." Zee held his container in the air, celebrating. Topher's ball flew into Zee's hand, breaking the container as the ball knocked it out of his hand, but giving his team the win as he had caught it. His team cheered. "Aw are you serious, that was my last one."
"We can do this." Harold told the team. They were talking about strategy. "We just have to believe in ourselves."
"Oh, I believe." Courtney said. "I believe you stink!"
"Yeah, you throw like a girl." Tyler added. Lightning chuckled as Dakota glared.
"You should talk." Courtney argued.
"Listen, that was a warmup throw. Look, I can dominate this game, just give all the balls to me." Tyler told his team. Chef blew his whistle.
"Fine." Courtney caved in. "Just try and aim to the other side."
"Alright Noah you're up." Heather told the snarky teen.
"You know you guys did such an awesome job in the last game, that I don't wanna mess up your mojo." Noah said as Chef blew his whistle.
"Fine!" Heather said. Ella raised her hand to play. Heather nodded. "Let's go guys."
All players were lined up ready to go. The Bass had given all their balls to Tyler confusing the Gophers. Tyler began to spin wildly and out of control. The balls flew everywhere. One was caught by Chef. One almost hit Chris. "Hey! Watch the face dude." One flew towards the Gopher bench, and the last on hit Lindsay.
"No!" Tyler ran over in concern.
"Sha finally." Lightning said.
Lindsay slowly opened her eyes, to see a concerned Tyler. She groaned. "Tyler?'' She finally spoke. "How's my face."
"It's really not that bad." Tyler's cringe turned into a smile. Lindsay had noticeable bruises on her cheeks and forehead. "You still look great!"
"Really?" She asked.
"Yeah, really." Tyler told the blonde. The touching moment was ruined by Amy, who softly threw the ball at Tyler. Chef blew his whistle. The Bass were disappointed. "You wanna go for a walk?" He asked.
"Have to say no, have to say no!" Lindsay thought to herself. "No, Tyler I can't. I have to… go support my team so they can win the game." Tyler was shocked. He sadly walked to his team's bench, not only had he wasted his team's time, but he had also been rejected by a girl.
"What were you doing with that blonde Gopher girl?" Courtney asked.
"Talking." Tyler replied.
"About what?" Courtney was getting even more curious.
"So, why does it matter?" Tyler asked.
The camera panned to Lindsay playing with her hands. "So! She could have been getting you to spill all her weaknesses to her."
"Oh that's it!" Brick exclaimed. "This means waaaaar!" Brick threw his ball at Dakota hitting her. Brick then stole Ella's ball and threw it at Dawn. He proceeded to steal Alejandro's ball and threw it at Damien. Lastly, he grabbed a free ball on the court, and threw it directly at Lightning, knocking his air out.
"Ow!" Chris cringed. "That one's worth an instant replay." The frame of Lightning getting hit by a dodgeball showed, as Chris kept saying "forward, rewind, and finally "pause, he had settled on the frame of Lightning, who had just been hit by the dodgeball. "That's gonna leave a mark."
"Oh, he dropped it like it was hot." Leshawna commented. The Gophers cheered as Brick had knocked the whole Bass down.
"I guess my instincts got the best of me." Brick told his cheering team.
"I'm glad someone here is trying." Heather said with a glance pointed to Noah.
"Oh sorry, woohoo way to throw those murder balls. Go team go." He said with a deadpan cheer.
"Nice team spirit!" Heather was sarcastic. "Hey, it's 2-0, how does it feel to suck so much." Heather yelled to the Bass.
"Not very good." It seemed Harold had lost spirit.
"It's not over yet." Courtney kept her spirit, which soon faded away with Heather's confident smirk. "It's so over."
"Ok this is really bad!" Courtney told her team. "One more game and we lose the whole challenge. We can't let that happen people, we need someone strong, someone mean, someone who will crush those lame-o Gophers into the dirt."
"Well, you found the right guy." Lightning said, sliding over to Courtney flexing his muscles.
"We all saw what happened last game." Priya straight up told him.
"Pfft! That guy only got lucky, Lightning can sha carry you all to the top, I mean just look at my muscles." Lightning said.
"You only say that, because you know that you could never do it if you'd try." Dawn told him.
"Don't believe anything, creepy girl says." Lightning pointed out.
Confessional
Topher- "All the things Dawn knows about people, creeps me out."
"Guys, I was talking about someone who isn't awake at the moment." Courtney said. Everyone glanced at a sleeping Duncan.
"But he said he'd kill us, if we woke him up." Damien worried.
"He won't kill us guys. He just wants to win too." Courtney tried reassuring her team.
"Courtney's right. We need Duncan's fierceness to win this." Harold added.
"That's the spirit Harold, now go wake him up." Courtney commanded him.
"Why me?" Harold asked.
"Because other than Ella you're the worst at dodgeball." Courtney explained. "Plus, if he does kill you, you're the only one we can afford to lose.
"No way I'm not doing it." Harold defended himself.
"Well, who's gonna wake him up?" Courtney asked. The Bass looked away, resulting with Harold being the one.
The scene panned to Harold, Courtney, Topher, and Dakota using a stick to poke Duncan. "Higher." Courtney whispered. The stick poked his nose, waking up Duncan. He grabbed the stick from the Bass and broke it in half using his bare hands.
"You better have a really good reason for sticking this up my nose." An angry Duncan told the geek.
"Look we are down two nothing, I can appreciate you need a little nap time, but we need your help." Courtney said.
"Oh, and why should I help you, darling." Duncan wanted answers.
"Because I can personally guarantee you, if we lose this game, you'll be the one going home tonight, darling." Courtney argued. Duncan had to cave in.
"Fine I'll play under one condition, you do what I say, when I say it." Duncan told her. She nodded in understanding. "Ok, here's a strategy I picked up on my first visit to juvie, it's called crush the new guy."
Both teams assembled their players on the court. Both were determined to win. Chef blew the whistle, resulting in the start of the game. Alejandro and Leshawna threw their balls, but all the Bass dodged the balls. Priya collected all the thrown balls and handed them to the other Bass players who all threw it directly at Brick.
His team all surrounded Brick wondering if he was ok. Meanwhile the Bass cheered victorious as Duncans silently nodded approvingly. Chef blew the whistle continuing the game. The Bass continued their strat, hitting Leshawna, Ella, Zee, and finally Alejandro. The game ended as quickly as that.
"Come on a little effort out there people." Noah commented on the game. The Gophers were upset with his comment. Meanwhile the Bass were cheering, having achieved their first win.
"I think we should do the same strategy again." Courtney told her team.
"But I sat the last one out." Harold complained.
"It's for the good of the team." She reasoned.
"Not that Noah here cares, but we are not losing another game too these guys. Got it!" Heather told her team.
"Maybe you guys should step your game up." Noah remarked.
"Says the one who hasn't even tried in the challenge yet." Before Noah could react to Heather's insult, Alejandro stepped in.
"We shouldn't worry about him, all we need is to keep our winning edge, so we can win the challenge senorita." Alejandro told Heather.
Confessional
Alejandro- "If we win today Noah will be on the chopping block due to not playing, but in the chance that we lose he'll be the one we all vote for. It's a win-win, for me at least."
"Yeah whatever. Has anyone seen Ella." Heather asked the team glanced around, but to see no sign of Ella. "Ugh. Do I have to do everything, myself?" Heather walked off to find Ella.
The scene panned to Ella who was sitting on the docks, singing to the birds as they gently sat on her shoulders. "I call this one, the beautiful bird." Ella said.
"What do you think you're doing?" Heather walked up too Ella.
"Oh, my you've finally came." Ella was ecstatic. "I was singing with my friends here; do you want to join us." Ella did not get a response as Heather walked her back to the court, leaving her bird friends behind.
"Sit down and stay there." Heather told her. Ella seemed sad. "You're so lucky that I'm letting you still be in the alliance." Noah and Alejandro both raised an eyebrow in suspicion at Heather's words. "How are we doing?" Heather asked only to see Sammy getting hit by a dodgeball. Amy could be heard faintly laughing from this.
"Sports, not my forte, remember." Noah told her.
"You know, you could actually give it a shot, and pretend to care." Heather said. Leshawna and Amy were both hit. The Bass had won again. "This is so unacceptable."
"Ok." Chris started. "This is it, the final tie breaking game."
"Go team go." Noah said.
All the Bass were huddled up, discussing their plan for the next game. "Ok who's going in?" Duncan asked.
"I think it's my turn." Harold told the punk.
"No way we have a chance to win this." Courtney said.
"Sorry but she's right." Topher said. Harold nodded as he went to sit down.
"Gophers, Bass, let's take this sample to the lab and see what you're made of." As Chris said that Chef blew his whistle, the game had started. Sammy picked up the ball and handed it to Zee who passed to another camper offscreen.
"Come on people." Heather told her team. "Quick feet fast hands." A montage played of different campers throwing the ball. In this mayhem various campers were hit with the ball. As Zee walked out, he tagged in Amy into the game. Another montage started of several Gophers getting tagged in and out.
"Knock em out, throw em out. Rah rah!" Noah promptly was hit in the face by a ball.
"You're right, sports aren't your forte." Heather mocked him.
The game continued, as Dakota walked into the court waving, she was immediately hit with a ball. As she walked back to her team's bench, another montage promptly started of the Bass getting subbed out and in. Eventually, Topher kindly gave Harold a position to play in the game.
"Back of the court, princess." Duncan told Harold. While she was distracted, Sammy threw her ball at Courtney. It hit her in the face.
"That's for the gruel." Sammy yelled.
"OH, you messed with the wrong white girl." Leshawna laughed.
A few more players were hit, notably Lightning who dodged one ball, but soon after was hit by another, Leshawna was hit in the face, Duncan who was hit three times, Brick was hit in the stomach, and finally Damien and Sammy threw their balls at each other, knocking them both out. It was only down to Harold and Alejandro. The Gophers immediately cheered as the Bass looked shocked.
"No hard feelings amigo, but I must prevail for my team." Alejandro told him. All odds were against Harold.
"Good night, Harold." Duncan muttered, feeling defeated already.
It was the final game. Alejandro started off by throwing many fast balls at Harold. He dodged the first three, the fourth one however, was very close but Harold slowly dodged the ball from underneath, almost touching his hair. Everyone in the court was shocked with his performance.
"Woah!" Noah said in shock, even dropping his book.
"Timeout, timeout." Courtney called to Chef. He blew the whistle. Harold walked back to his team's bench.
"Man, that boy's got dodge, where'd you learn to do that from?" Duncan asked. Harold was being treated with a sports towel and a bottle of water. He spat it at Tyler.
"Figure skating." He answered.
"That was impressive Harold, but you can't just dodge the whole game." Topher told the boy.
"Topher's right, to win this you need to throw him out." Dakota told him.
"Which we all know you can't do." Duncan added.
"Or." Courtney continued. "Catch the ball, can you, do it?"
"Definitely." A confident Harold was ready.
"Now go make us proud champ." Lightning told the geek.
A newly found Harold walked onto the court. He was more determined than ever to win for his team. Alejandro just smirked; he had found competition. The Bass chanted his name, it was up to him. Alejandro leaned back a tiny bit, and threw it at Harold, as hard as he could. The ball hit him in the stomach, throwing him into the glass. The Bass were very scared at what was going to happen next. A few moments later the ball was seen rolling on the court, he had let go of the ball, due to the pressure. Chef blew his whistle, signaling the end of the game, and the win of the Gophers.
"The Screaming Gophers win!" Chris exclaimed. The Gophers cheered as the Bass looked in shame.
"Good game, amigo." Alejandro told the geek as he walked off proud of his win.
"Well, I know who I'm voting off tonight!" Lightning glanced at Harold.
"Guys, don't be so harsh on him. He tried his best." Priya reasoned.
"Gophers, that was pretty close." Chris said to the Gophers.
"What can I say?" Noah said. "They should've tried harder."
"Go jump in a hole!" Amy angrily told him. She walked off.
"For once I agree with her." Heather added. At this point, many of the campers had enough of Noah and had left the court.
"Touchy." He replied, only to see the glares from his teammates. "I'll tell you, for a team that won, the team spirit here is severely lacking."
Confessional
Harold- "I can't believe my mad skills let me down." He put his face in his hands. "Why mad skills! Why!"
It was time for the dread elimination ceremony. The 10 disappointed Bass, all glanced at each other. "Campers, you've already placed your votes and made your decision. One of you will be going home, and you can't comeback, ever. When you hear me call out your name, come pick up a marshmallow, Damien…Dakota…Topher…Dawn…Priya…Courtney…Lightning…Duncan."
Only Tyler and Harold were left. "The final marshmallow goes too." Harold looked at the marshmallow, anxious. Tyler was shaking, he was very much scared. "Harold." Chris finally said.
"Yes!" Harold said in relief as he went up to grab his marshmallow. A sad, slumped over Tyler had no reaction.
"Aw man, this stinks." Tyler glumly said as he walked in defeat as he walked toward the Boat of Losers.
"Alright, so it wasn't the most dramatic campfire ceremony ever." Chris told the camera. "But I still get paid. Bonus!"
(End Credits)
Authors Note: Well after about a week, I finally finished the chapter, a few things I want to mention.
This episode took a long time to make, because I've been a bit busy these last few days, so I haven't had much time to work on fanfiction. However, I'm finished with all the things that got in the way and I'm ready to keep producing chapters again, also thanks to superflipper76 for the "everything wrong with Dodgebrawl" it helped me with the episode, and it also helped me put together Damien's physics confessional.
So now for the real question why did I boot Tyler so early? So, I really like Tyler, might be one of my all-time favorites in the whole series, but with a fanfiction you're going to have to let some of your favorite characters go for plot reasons. Yep, you guessed it, he didn't have any plot. I don't really know how to further Tyler's growth, he's a good few episodes comic relief, but I feel as if he'll get old if I keep using him, so I feel as if this is the best place to eliminate him which also brings me to my next point.
No Lyler. Now I won't get into much detail because I have plans for both characters in future seasons (if I continue the project), and if I do it might spoil some of the few seasons. There's no way to really fit in with them for being a couple due to their placements and relationships I have with them all planned out, and even if they did become one in this universe, they'd have to break up due to something I can't reveal. It really sucks because I really like the ship, and it would've been great to have some funny moments between the two, but alas for another time.
Ok, sorry for the long rant. I hope you enjoyed the chapter and I'll see you in the next one. Adios readers! Reviews would be highly appreciated
