Hey guys, I know it's been a little minute since my last update that you guys absolutely loved and I loved writing it. Brucas back together again and stronger that ever.

This chapter is a LPOV so I isn't anything lovey dovey yet. Don't worry though that is coming up.

Sadly there isn't many coaters left. Maybe 3 or 4 and I might do a trilogy or just a final last chapter in this one. I'm not too sure yet so please do let me know.

It has been a year and a half since Brooke and I got back together and a great time it has been. We've tried harder to get this to work and it's paid off. She has her life at college with her friends, but she has also made time for me. We text always and when she is less busy then she'll ring me or well FaceTime. I understand she has cheer and fashion and I get she gets super busy sometimes, but I'm glad she messages me back almost straight away.

I mean on occasion I'm also busy with work and my friends.

"Yo Luke you in" Aaron says as he opened the door to our apartment we got after leaving the dorms our second year.

"Yeah dude just finishing this paper" I call back

"You have 45 minutes and then we are leaving for the beach" he says popping his head into my room "Mel and Aria are gonna drive with us is that cool?"

After the whole Aria thing when Brooke surprised me I limited my time around her. There was no way I would risk losing Brooke again

"Yeah that's okay" I nod. If Aria starts I'll shut her down this time and every time"

"Okay so be ready in 45 minutes"

I wave him off when my phone buzzed. I grabbed it and saw Brookes name flashing.

"Hey Pretty girl" a smile instantly appeared on my face.

"Hi Luke, I just wanted to call and say hi before I head out with the girls"

"I'm glad you called" I reply "I miss you"

"I miss you too, so what you doing today?"

"Going to the beach with Aaron and Mel and Aria is tagging along. She needed a ride"

"That sounds like fun" She replies "I trust you Luke"

"You do?" why did that surprise me so much

"Of course, you've never given me a reason not too Luke and by you telling me Aria was riding with you proved that"

"So Lil has that comp next week right just before the summer?"

"Yeah"

"So I'm gonna fly to Charlotte to go watch the Ravens win then stay in Tree Hill for a little bit before coming back to Cali. Wanna join me?"

"Well duh" I laughed "Oh course I wanna join you Brooke"

"Good. So I'll see you at Charlotte" I could just feel a smile on her face melting my heart even more.

"Brooke are you ready? The girls are waiting for us" I hear Dylan yell

"I'm coming" Brooke replies I could have at her fumbling sound grabbing stuff "Baby I have to go, but I'll call you tomorrow or text either way I'll communicate tomorrow. Love you. Bye"

"Bye pretty Girl, love you too"

We got to the beach and everyone piled out of my car and headed down to the sand. I stayed behind to find a decent parking space. Once I had parked I went down to meet the others "Aarons went to grab us some drinks" Mel says leaning back on her elbows.

I nod and sit down on the towel laid out "do you want to share towels with me Luke?" Aria asks giving me a wink. This girl never quits.

"I have my own thanks" I reply

"Here Luke" Aaron hands me a cola "I know you won't drink and drive" I don't do it or risk it.

"So have you thought about what we spoke about last week?" Aaron asks wiggling his eyes at me

"That's all I've thought about since" I reply

"Then stop thinking about it and just do it. I'll come with you to the shop" he offers.

"Thanks Man"

"So you going to do it then. We can go to the shop tomorrow or something"

"We can go and have a look" I reply

"What are you guys talking about?" Mel asks out if curiosity.

"Nothing babe" Aaron replies to her "Guy stuff" he added.

"Whatever" She lies down with the sun beaming on us "it's probably just a stupid guy thing anyway"

We had been at the beach for a few hours now. Aaron and I headed into the sea. The cold water felt nice on the hot day. I sat back down on the beach towel whole Aaron and Mel went off to grab us some food.

"So Luke you still avoiding me?" Aria says leaning up on her elbows

"I'm not avoiding you Aria, but also not putting myself into awkwardness" I reply looking out at the ocean "Brooke and I are finally in a good place and you don't and won't respect my relationship so I can't be around that"

"Oh god sue me for liking you" She groaned boiling my blood a little.

"I've been up front with my relationship Aria, I've spoken about Brooke you've met Brooke and you know how much I love the girl and what I am willing to do for her and yet you still continue to try and break us up. Brooke was right I shouldn't have entertained it, I thought it was harmless flirting you were giving me, but it wasn't and I'm over it. I've been over it for months now"

"I just don't think you've given the college experience a fair chance and I just don't think you and Brooke are end game and I honestly think and believe that me and you could have been something better, been something more that what you and she had"

"Had?" I laugh and shake my head "do you even hear yourself right now Aria? Brooke and I went through what we did and came out stronger than ever. I've known for years that Brooke is my one. I've known ever since she smiled at me at the coffee shop in tree hill. We've had our ups and down sure, any relationship does, but we've grown and learnt from our mistakes which makes us a great couple and I'll be damned if I let you try and wiggle your way into my head and make me doubt anything"

"Lucas"

"No" I stand to my feet "you don't get to say anything else Aria and I'm done with this conversation and I'm done trying to be your friend"

"Lucas wait. I'm sorry I didn't"

I just carried on walking heading towards my the car when I saw Aaron and Mel walking towards me.

"We are leaving" I say walking pass them.

"Luke wait, what happened?" Aaron says running up behind me.

"Get Aria and Mel and meet me at the car or I'm leaving without you" I reply continuing to the car "you have 5 minutes"

The car ride back to campus was silent. I didn't even put the music on. I drove and we were quiet. I got to our apartment and parked.

"Lucas I'm sorry I just"

I just put my hand up "I don't really wanna hear it Aria. Brooke has been patient with us being friends and yet you keep pushing your limit and you've pushed it too far now. I told myself if you did that then I can't and won't be your friend and you've gone and pushed it and I'm tired of it" I tell her "now since you and Mel are best friends and Mel is dating Aaron we probably will see each other, but I don't want you to talk to me and I won't acknowledge you. I'm done" I then walk pass her and up the stairs to the apartment building.

"What happened?" I hear Mel ask Aria as I walked away.

I head up to the apartment and take my keys out to unlock the door. I step in and shut the door behind me relieved to be home. I take my trainers off and head to my bedroom.

I opened the bedroom door and a smile instantly met my lips

"Hey baby"
