Everyone was hot on Artie's trail. He had a gun, but he was also driving so, it wouldn't be too hard for Daisy or Luke to overtake him right? Wrong. Artie was pretty strong, and Daisy and Luke were just about burnt out.
The General Lee and Cooter's truck were closing in on Artie, and Jesse, Corey and Enos weren't far behind.
"I'm gonna take the high road up on the left there and see if I can't land in front of 'em." Bo called in.
"I'll keep pushin' him up from the rear." Cooter replied.
Luke and Daisy were whispering a plan in the back, when they heard the Dixie horn, and they knew their troubles were over.
The General Lee flew in front of Artie's car and landed, blocking him and forcing him to stop. He got out of the car as fast as he could with his drawn gun.
Bo slipped out of the General and kicked the gun from him, and a fight started. Luke was about to get out to help, but Bo decked Artie pretty quickly.
"Alright!" Daisy whooped and got out of the car. Cooter came and held Artie down until Enos arrived.
"Y'all alright?" Bo asked Daisy and Luke.
"Yeah, I'm fine, but I think we'd best take Luke to the doc." Daisy suggested.
"Daisy, I'm fine, I jus-"
"Lemme see." Bo turned Luke's face towards him.
"Yeah, I think you'd best get to docs." Bo concluded.
"Bo-"
"Don't 'Bo' me, you're goin' an' that's it." Bo led Luke over to the General.
Luke didn't much cotton to being bossed around by his youngest cousin, but he knew that when Jesse arrived there'd be no two ways about it. Also, he was pretty exhausted, so if it came down to it, Bo could manhandle Luke over to the doc.
Enos arrived and took Artie in his patrol car.
Jesse and Corey got out of the truck just as the cousins were about to leave.
"Luke ain't doin' too good so we's gonna take him to docs." Daisy explained as she climbed into the General.
"We'll follow you there." Jesse led Corey back to the truck.
"Bo, Daisy, I'm okay, jus' tired. I'll-"
"You've obviously been hurt, Luke." Daisy looked at the cuts and abrasions on his wrists and arms from being tied up.
"You're overwrought. An' look at your eyes, they're bloodshot." Bo pointed out. "I'm sure ya won't have to stay the night, jus' a quick check over prolly."
"I ain't stayin' the night." Luke made it clear.
"I don't reckon you'll have to." Daisy assured.
The Dukes and Corey arrived at doc's place and headed inside.
"Which one of y'all is it this time?" Doc questioned. "You all look worse for wear."
"Luke's got some injuries on his hands an' arms." Bo forced Luke into the exam room.
"They's all makin' a big deal outta nothin'." Luke sighed and took his shirt off.
"That's not nothing." Doc remarked as he examined the wounds. "You get tied up again?"
"Yeah." Luke sighed.
"Alright. I'll clean these up and put some bandages on 'em and you'll be all set." Doc decided.
"See, Bo, we coulda done that at home." Luke rolled his eyes.
"No, not necessarily. You'll need a prescription for some antibiotics." Doc corrected.
"Disgusting." Luke sighed.
Meanwhile, Pricilla had just been released from the hospital, and was in the Hazzard hotel until she could decide where she and Corey were going to live.
Rosco was doing much better, and was due to be released to Lulu's care in a wheel chair any day now.
