A silent figure watched from far away as Miles was swinging away from the warehouse. They studied carefully the scene that just played out. A boy, not even of adult age, was capable of overcoming the powers of a being once thought to be unbeatable.
"What is your verdict?" Another figure as them. "Shall we... assist the boy?"
"We shall observe a little longer." The figure replied in a deep, rumbling voice.
"Has the answer not just presented itself?" The second figure seemed to be growing in anger and agitation.
"Patience. We must be cautious when approaching this foe. One wrong step could lead to unfathomable consequences. The boy must prove a little more."
"And what if he is the answer?" They replied, their anger seeming to have died down.
"Then we reward him with the truth."
"And if not?"
"..." They were slow to respond. "He meets a worse fate than what the girl faced."
I don't know if I'm back. Frankly, I only did this cause I'm bored and I was looking back at this story because of my excitement for the new spiderverse movie. Truth is, every time I think back on this story I get annoyed at how bad (in my opinion) I made it and I get embarrassed of it. When I look at it, personally all I see is a mess of letters. The plot is all over the place and just not great honestly and the typos are agregious, at least in my point of view. I recently starting saying that it's officially canceled but thinking back on it, I remember how important the story used to be for me and how I loved the movie and the ship, I guess as well.
So am I starting this again? Maybe. Perhaps slowly. The thing is is that I kinda wanna write again, especially on this ship but I just don't know if I want to continue this story specifically.
This update is specifically me dipping my toes into the idea of picking it up again, however no guarantees.
At the end of the day, this is mostly for me to officially think about this possibility. If none of yall care, that's completely fair
