And we're back with the next chapter of Meta-Verse. In this chapter, the Meta-Verse Agents and the DigiDestined are now wondering why Kari is being known as the Light One, and a mysterious transfer student comes to them, who could possibly be Snow White. But to add to that, the DigiDestined's enemy has returned... Before we start, I should answer this.
SatAM - This is actually the last arc where the Nazis will appear, so do expect a new evil organization to come next arc. Not gonna say what it is.

The Meta-Verse Agents offered for Snow White to stay at the Agency and rest up for a bit, but the Magical Girl decided to take her own route, then she left the Agents, DigiDestined and Digimon behind.
Meta-Verse Department Agency
A day later, back at the Meta-Verse Department Agency, Reg was in his quarters, looking a little confused. "Who was that girl? Why did she know me?" He looks at the mirror in his room. "Was she from the Abyss? Is she an Obot like me?" He shook his head. "No, that's impossible. She can't be an Obot. She doesn't look like one. She's a Magical Girl, that's all she is. But, what is the past between me and that girl?" He sighed, then flops down on his bed. "This is getting frustrating. My memory's that bad enough as it is. Then yet, more things keep happening and I don't even remember any of it. At all. Ever." He then got up, then went out of the room. He took a walk down in the halls. The first person he ran into while in the hallway is Kari.
"Oh, hi, Reg," Kari said, smiling warmly. Gatomon was walking beside her and gave him a friendly wave.
"Hey." Reg waved. He sighed. "Everything went bonkers there yesterday. I still quite don't get it."
"That makes two of us," Kari agreed. "I still don't understand what those guys want with me."
Reg nodded. "I really don't know either. Also, that's not the only thing that's bothering me. Snow White knows who I am. I don't remember seeing her before."
"Well, there are Meta-Verse versions of Gatomon and Patamon, so maybe she met a different version of you before?" Kari offered.
Reg chuckled. "I'm not quite sure about that. I mean, there was another me, but he works for the Illuminati, to which the Illuminati is a conspiracy organization from what he told me."
Gatomon's ears twitched. "Conspiracy organization?"
"It's kind of hard to explain. I don't know how to describe it in words." Reg said.
"That's okay," Kari said. "Well, it was nice talking to you, but we'd better be getting back to the others."
Reg nodded. "I guess I'll see you." He then walks away from Kari and Gatomon. He is still thinking about what transpired yesterday. "I don't know. I'm still curious as to what goes on now."

Later, the DigiDestined and Digimon are at the cafeteria, as it is lunchtime at the moment.
"Yesterday sure was crazy, huh?" Tai said. The other's nodded.
"Just what was with those guys?" Joe asked.
"Yeah, and what do they want with Kari?"
"That's not all," Izzy said. "They seemed to be after me, too."
"How the fuck are they after you?" Milk Chan came to them, while holding a bowl of Buckwheat Noodles in hand.
"They said they were after someone with brains, I guess," he said. "They tried to capture me yesterday."
"They seem to be after something," Tai said. "But what?"
"Person with brains, huh?" Milk sips on her noodles.
"They wanted him because they wanted a scientific brain for the Project." Luluco said. She is at a table behind the DigiDestined.
"What, they want to turn him into a magical girl too?" Tai joked.
Izzy rolled his eyes. "I doubt that."
"And just why are they after my sister?" Tai continued. "I'm not gonna let them lay a hand on her."
"Well that blue-eyed robot said that she is the reincarnation of the Light One, right?" Nanachi came to them. "I'm assuming that they're after some sort of energy source from her. But what type of energy source she holds, we don't know. No offense, she is normal and all, but something's up."
Kari seemed lost in thought. Just who was the Light One, and what did it have to do with her? Surely she wasn't some reincarnation of anyone special, right?
"I wonder what's in store for us today?" Sora said.
"We wouldn't be sure of that. It seems like a surprise every time." Hakumei and Mikochi came to them.
"Man, I prefer stability," Joe complained. "I'd rather have a set schedule."
Tai rolled his eyes. "Well, I doubt you're going to have much of a set schedule around here."
"Trust me, I prefer a set schedule as well." Mikochi agrees with Joe.
"Come on, Mikochi. We did good." Hakumei said.
"Yeah, but I don't wanna go through anymore scary situations then it already is!" Mikochi complained.
"At this point, we're used to scary situations all the time," Matt said. "The digital world is a wild place and it takes a lot to survive there."
"Yeah, but that doesn't mean that we're going to get used to living here so easily," Sora said. "This is way different than the digital world."
"Isn't that the truth?" Milk still sipped on her noodles. "Alright. 130 bowls of noodles were completely consumed. 70 more bowls to go. I'm on a roll right now." She goes back to her table and puts that bowl up, then she grabs another bowl of Buckwheat Noodles, then she comes back to the group and starts sipping on the noodles.
"I want to eat that many bowls of noodles," Agumon said.
"Yeah, right," Tai laughed. "I bet you'd try."
Agumon got up and went over to get seconds, and he was followed by Gomamon and Gabumon.
Chowder sighed.
"They might want seconds." The toaster said.
This toaster is silver, has two black handles, two black stubby feet and brown eyes.
"Yeah, yeah." Chowder then came to the counter. "Here, I can give you some more." He yawned.
Once the digimon got their food and returned to the table, the kids were finishing up their meals and were discussing what to do next.
"I kind of want to see this arcade they mentioned yesterday," Kari said.
"Well, nothing's going on right now, so you can actually go there today before things get worse today. Like, I don't know, another Kuwagamon attack. Or worse, ten Kuwagamons in one area." Milk sips on her noodles.
The kids shuddered. One Kuwagamon was bad enough, but ten? That would be ridiculous. "Well, might as well enjoy what downtime we have," Tai said. He got up and joined his sister as they headed towards the arcade.
"Well, that's it for me. Gotta eat more of these things." Milk said.
"Unless someone mentions all the way to sea." Hakumei said.
Milk then felt sick. "Fuck you, Hakumei." She ran to a bathroom, then it sounded like she threw up. She then got out, looking pissed off at the moment. "You're gonna make this up to me. I just now threw up 131 bowls of Buckwheat Noodles."
Joe sighed. "I think I'm just going to go back to the apartment," Joe said, getting up and heading back. Matt, Mimi, and Izzy followed after him, but T.K. and Sora decided to go to the arcade. Their digimon followed each of their partners out of the cafeteria.
"I think you threw each of them off." Luluco said.
Milk sighed. "Now I have to do this bullshit all over again. Fuck life."
Meanwhile, Tai and Kari, including Agumon and Gatomon, have gotten into the arcade room. And it looks pretty decent. They did see a bar at the left side of the arcade room.
Tai knew that they were too young to drink and guided his sister and their digimon over to the arcade cabinets. Shortly after, Sora and T.K. arrived at the arcade as well. They ran over to Tai and Kari excitedly.
Mary was at the bar side of the arcade room, then she turned around to see the quadlets and their digimon partners, making it eightlets. Is that a word? The imaginary friend then got out of the bar side and came to them. "Decided to check the place out finally."
"We would have stopped by sooner, but we got called for a mission," Tai replied. "This place looks really cool!"
"I know, right?" Mary came close to them. "I heard they finally installed something where you can use skateboards at. Although you need to keep it in that area and not all over the arcade, otherwise we'll have a mess of things."
Sadly, none of the kids had skateboards, but Tai had always wanted to learn how to. Maybe he could pick up the hobby here? The kids ran over to an arcade cabinet and began playing.
Mary sighed. "How nice everything can be?" She then turned around and saw Ushio Okazaki behind her. "Shit, when did you start to sneak up on people?"
"I wasn't trying to." Ushio got beside Mary. "How did this portal thing still go on, anyways?"
"I have no clue. But hopefully someone has an answer to that question." Mary said.
Ushio nodded. "I guess."
They watched as the kids had fun with the game.
Meanwhile, the DigiDestined and Digimon who aren't going to the arcade room walk back into the apartment center. The first thing they saw is that the ragdoll, Raggedy Ann, has turned herself into a vacuum cleaner, but her eyes and mouth are still showing, and so as her red yarn hair is cleaning up the room. Then she saw them. "Oh, hey."
"Hi, Raggedy Ann," Matt said. "What're you up to? Just cleaning?"
"Yep. I am a strange weird cartoon character, you see. But yeah, I am cleaning. With me being a cool vacuum cleaner." Ann then used her mouth as the sucker to clean the place up.
"Anything we can do to help?" Mimi asked.
"Nah, I'm good. If you wanna keep yourselves relaxed and enjoy your relaxation, go ahead. You probably might need some relaxation anyways." Ann said.
"I might do just that," Joe said. "After everything that happened yesterday, I could use the time to chill out."
"Same here," Gommamon agreed, and the two went over and sat on the couch.
Ann then gets done with the cleaning, then she turns to Izzy. "I might need you for a second. We might want your help with something."
Izzy nodded. "Sure, I'll help. Just tell me what to do."
"Okay, if you would follow me, please." Ann turns back into her ragdoll form, then she leads Izzy and Tentomon out of the apartment center.
Later, they're in an area that looks like a tunnel filled with dim lights and all.
"You see, this area has not had power ever since a minor incident. The power generator must be broken or something. We were trying to get power back online in this area, but we don't know what to do with it." Ann explains to Izzy.
Izzy pulled out his computer and got to work on figuring out how to fix the generator. He typed in some things then looked at the generator. After a while of working, the power finally came back on.
The lights are now shining brighter than ever.
Ann sighed. "Nice. This area has finally gotten some light now. Thanks for the help."
"Not a problem," Izzy said. "If there's anything else I can assist with, then don't hesitate to ask."
Ann nodded. "Promise I'll ask."
Hakua Shiodome came to them. "Well, this tunnel has some lights now."
"I know. Now it won't be "Are You Afraid of the Dark" anymore." Ann joked.
Hakua chuckled. She then turns to see Izzy. "It is a pleasure to meet you. I'm Hakua. Hakua Shiodome." She got her hand out for Izzy to do a handshake.
Izzy took her hand and shook it. "Nice to meet you. I'm Izzy Izumi."
"Izzy. Nice name." Hakua sighed. "This tunnel has been attacked by aliens known as the Prophets and they literally took everything out. At least they didn't collapse the tunnel though."
"It was attacked? By aliens?" Izzy repeated, surprised.
Hakua nodded. "These aliens have a strong will of cleansing the Earth and other planets. These aliens believed that these planets are not necessary to live, and that one day, they'll cleanse it all for a God they believed in to come and give them their former glory. Kind of sick to be honest."
"That's disgusting," Izzy agreed. Tentomon nodded.
"Did you manage to chase them off then?" Tentomon asked.
"We did. But if they're gonna come back or not, is a question that we have to ask ourselves." Ann said.
"Well, if they come back when we're here, then we'll help you fend them off," Tentomon said.
"Thanks." Ann nodded.
Hakua sighed. "Since things here look normal again, I think I can head on."
"Go right ahead." Ann said.
Hakua nodded, then she left.
Ann then turns to Izzy and Tentomon. "Well, since we're done here, might as well head back."
The two nodded and they followed Ann back to the entrance of the tunnel.
Meanwhile, in the Revengers Base right next to the Meta-Verse Department Agency, we see Katy Caterpillar sorting through a few things, then she is visited by Kikyo Kushida.
"Miss Katy." Kikyo said.
"Oh, Miss Kushida. So, what is it that you're here for?" Katy asked.
"Well, you're about to have a new transfer student soon." Kikyo said.
"Alright. And do I need to know her name?" Katy asked.
Kikyo sighed. "Her name is Koyuki Himekawa."
"Koyuki Himekawa. Alright. Anything else?" Katy asked.
"She has another name. It is…Snow White."
Katy looked at Kikyo for a moment, then sighed. "So she decided to come after all." She stacks her papers up. "Great. Now what do I tell them, that she decided to come to us finally?"
"Not sure." Kikyo said.
Katy sighed. "I'll let them know whenever class begins."
Kikyo nodded, then she left the room.
Katy looks at one of the papers. "Snow White. Why now that you wanted to come to us? Why not sooner?" She sighed.
Then, the next day, class begins and everyone in Class D is doing something while waiting for their teacher, Katy, to come.
Tai yawned and stretched in his seat. He hated school, but he was hoping that this wouldn't be nearly as boring as school back in Tokyo.
"You'd better wake up, Tai," Sora teased.
"Yeah, we've seen just what our teacher's capable of doing," Izzy added.
All of a sudden, a newspaper flew and smacked Tai in the forehead. It is revealed that Milk threw that. "That's for your wake up call."
Tai rubbed his sore face and said, "Fine, fine, I'm awake."
"You're much worse than Riko here." Reg said, pointing at Riko, who is apparently asleep at the moment. "Or maybe I might be wrong. She might be worse."
"Yeah, at least I'm not asleep right now," Tai agreed.
Agumon looked around the class and said, "Are we starting soon?"
"I do wonder what's taking Katy so long." Marulk just looked at his arm, apparently doing that as looking at a watch.
"Maybe she had to do something important right quick?" Phosphophyllite assumed.
"Probably," Sora agreed. "She does seem to do a lot around here."
"She does." Milk nodded. "And she does a badass job about it. She wasn't like this back then, but at least she has more confidence in doing everything now than back then."
"It's hard to imagine her without confidence," Matt said.
"Well, what do you expect from all the tiny little caterpillars?" Milk asked.
"That's true," Izzy agreed.
"Yeah, if I was a little bug like that, It'd probably take a while for me to gain any confidence, too," Mimi said.
Reg nodded.
"I think she might be coming now." Meta-Verse Patamon said.
Then, Katy did come, and she crawled from the floor to the desk. "Sorry about that. I got something to tackle before coming here. So, how's everyone's day?"
"It's good," Tai said.
"So, what's on the agenda today?" Joe asked.
"Before I go into that, we do have a new transfer student coming here today." Katy said.
"A transfer student?" Kari asked.
"That quick?" Reg asked.
Riko then woke up. "What's going on?"
Katy just glared at Riko. "Pay attention, please."
"Yes, ma'am." Riko yawned.
Katy rolled her eyes. "Gosh, things get worse around here." She sighed. "We do have a new transfer student coming here today. I was not expecting that, since you guys came like two days ago. And now, we're having someone new coming here. So, now, it's time to introduce our new transfer. You may come in now."
Then, the door opened, and a girl walked into the classroom. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She wears a black long-sleeve shirt, black skirt, white socks and white sneakers. She walked up to Katy.
The DigiDestined watched the girl walk into the classroom. She looked friendly enough and they were curious to see where she would sit.
"Hello to you all. My name is Koyuki Himekawa. It is a pleasure to be here." She bowed.
"Nice to meet you," the kids and Digimon all replied.
Koyuki smiles, then she recognizes Reg. "Reg, you're here too."
Reg is in shock. "What? Do I know you?" "This is gonna bother me again."
"We met two days ago, remember?" Koyuki asked.
Reg thinks back for a minute. "No."
Koyuki sighed. "I helped you guys out on defeating Cranberry."
Reg's eyes widened. It seems like he recognizes now. But how she's saying this to them even though she's in her normal form, I don't know. "Wait a moment. Snow White?"
Riko's eyes are wide awake now hearing that. "Whoa, what?!"
Katy facefaulted. "You have to say that, did you?"
"You mean that magical girl we met two days ago?" Matt said in disbelief.
"Well, yes, it's me." Koyuki nodded.
"Wow, never would have guessed," T.K. said.
"How have you been since then?" Sora asked.
Koyuki fidgets her fingers. "I'm doing fine. I decided to finally come here now. Cause, I've been told by the alien cat, Kyubey, about this place. I know you offered there before, but I declined, but Kyubey told me everything about this place. And so, I decided I should join."
"It's great to have you," Matt said.
Koyuki smiled. "Thank you very much."
"Well, since you're close to Reg, I might as well let you sit next to him." Katy said.
"Um, am I gonna be okay with this?" Reg asked, worried.
"It'll be fine. Don't worry." Katy reassures.
Koyuki then walked to the seat that is in between Reg and Meta-Verse Gatomon, then she sat down.
"Alright, now what are we going to do, Teach?" Tai asked.
Katy sighed. "Since the introductions are out of the way…" She looks through her agenda paper to see what they're gonna be taught. "I might as well teach you about some elemental stuff, I guess. Sounds fun. Never done this in a while." She then faces the students. "And yes, there are more than the elements you know of, so listen very clearly."
Two hours later, after Katy's teaching about some of the elements, including an element known as the Space Core Element, to which she mentioned that the Space Core Element is an unseen element that controls space at its will. Who inherits the Space Core Element is largely unknown, but it can be made as weapons of destruction if evil has its hand on the element. The good has never wanted to use the element, since they knew that it's power is too great to handle. We do see everyone at the cafeteria again, since it's lunchtime.
Milk sighed, while sipping her noodles. "The Space Core Element. I wonder how the hell that thing was ever made."
"Who knows?" Matt said. "But it sounds nasty if the bad guys are wanting it."
"It would probably create mass extinction if something goes wrong." ID-3 Hoihoi-san sweeps up the floor of the cafeteria.
"Let's just hope we don't ever have to fight someone using it," Joe said.
"Joe, you're always a scaredy cat, you know?" Milk sips on her bowl of noodles.
"I just like to be cautious," he said defensively.
Gommamon shrugged. "Nah, he's just a scaredy cat."
Milk chuckled. "Looks like your partner is agreeing with me."
Joe sighed. "He's rarely on my side."
"Joe can be right though." Aya Asagiri said. "We don't know what this Space Core Element can do, so I would like to take precautions on that type of power if need be."
"Exactly what I'm saying," Joe said.
Izzy sighed. "Yes, it does sound like we need to take caution around this element, especially if our enemies manage to get a hold of it."
Hoihoi-san got done sweeping. "Well, the floor's nice and shiny." She nodded.
Ann came to them. "So, do you guys have plans after this?"
"Not really," Sora said. "What about you?"
Ann sighed. "I think I might just take a nap. It's fine, I can do that."
"A little cat nap doesn't sound like a bad idea," Gatomon agreed.
Ann nodded. "That does remind me. May I talk with you in private?"
"About what?" she asked.
A moment later, both Ann and Gatomon are in the hallway.
"I am worried about Kari. I don't know your friend that much, but…I've been having these strange visions lately. I don't know what they are, but they look bad. And they all have to do with Kari." Ann said.
"What?" Gatomon exclaimed. "That sounds awful. Do you remember anything about any of these visions?"
"They looked blurred. And they're surrounded by bright lights. I couldn't even see a dang thing. But I did see Kari there, but everything's bright and blurred, I don't know what goes on at all."
"I see… I'll keep an eye on Kari. I won't let anything bad happen to her."
"Please do." Ann nodded. "And one more thing. You said something about Myotismon, correct?"
"Yes, he's been after Kari, too."
Ann shudders. "Myotismon is one of the original descendants of my sister, Annabelle, alongside Devimon. But those two split ways from Annabelle, and so they've gone to do their own thing instead of being with Annabelle. And you said Myotismon's after Kari?" She looked at the ground, thinking. "Dang it. It's gonna get worse from there."
"If Myotismon forms an alliance with our current enemies, then we're going to be in deep trouble. It's already looking bad though, since Kuwagamon was with Wheatley in our last battle."
"I found out that Wheatley has opened the portal to the Digital World through his own technology. This does mean he is forming an alliance with dangerous Digimon both old and new."
Gatomon shuddered. "Great. Now we have digimon to worry about along with enemies from different worlds."
"I agree. Although Annabelle is dead, it looks like her disciples are still alive. Especially Myotismon. Have not heard from Devimon, so we should be safe from him. But the only one we have to worry about now is Myotismon if he ever had a chance to get into this reality."
"Yes," Gatomon said. "The others defeated Devimon a while ago, before me and Kari joined them, so we don't have to worry about him."
Ann nodded. "I probably shouldn't bring this up, but I did know you have a scar, hidden in that glove of yours."
Gatomon winced. "Y-yes, I do."
Ann sighed. "I did know he hurt you. Don't ask me why, but I do. And you're trying to escape that past. But, the past catches up to us. And it hurts us in multiple ways. It hurted me a lot when I have to face my sister multiple times."
"I see…" Gatomon nodded. "The past still haunts me to this day, but I'm doing everything I can to work past it."
Ann looks solemn. "I tried. But it doesn't get me anywhere. I always worry that my past is gonna consume me, and I will be rendered powerless against my past. I can't seem to work past it. How many times I tried, I can't seem to work past it." She then bursts into tears.
Gatomon pulls her into a hug and lets her cry into her shoulder. "It's going to be okay, I promise," she said.
"I really want you to protect her. That's my only request. Because I don't want her under the hands of my sister's disciple."
Gatomon nodded. "I understand. Don't worry, I'll protect Kari with my life."
Ann nodded, then broke up the hug. She then sighed. "Then I'll owe it to you." She then leaves the area. She passes by Katy, who is crawling to Gatomon.
"Everything okay?" Katy asked, curious.
"Yes, we were just talking…" Gatomon said, then added in a hushed tone, "I didn't know that Ann had a sister. Did you?"
Katy sighed. "Annabelle is Ann's sister. She is a rag doll, just like Ann. But, this doll…she's possessed by a demon, and so she lost her sister due to Annabelle being a demonic being. It's a dark history between the two."
"I see…" Gatomon trailed off. "Do you think we'll have to face off against her too?"
"I hope not, but who knows. She revived herself multiple times now. She was a rag doll, then we killed her, but she became a ghost right afterwards, then she became a porcelain doll, then we killed her. So, I don't know if she's gonna take another form when she comes back or not." Katy looks up at Gatomon. "It seems she never really dies."
Gatomon felt her fur bristle. She understood what having a dark past was like, although her demons weren't relatives. Her ears perked when she heard Kari calling for her.
"Gatomon? Where'd you go?" Kari asked as she walked down the hall. She then spotted Gatomon and Katy. "Oh, there you are. Hi, Katy!"
Katy waved her hand, then she turned to Gatomon. "I'll leave you two be." She then crawls past Kari. She then sighed. "Just hope things get better soon." She said to herself out loud, then left Kari and Gatomon behind.
"Are you ready to head back to the apartment?" Kari asked her partner. "Everyone else is already starting to head back."
Gatomon nodded. "Yes, let's go."
The two then returned to the apartment, where everyone else was waiting for them. Half the DigiDestined had retreated to their beds for a power nap, but Kari and Gatomon found themselves weirdly awake. They sat out in the living room with Tai, Agumon, Izzy, and Tentomon, the only other ones who were awake.
"Everything cool?" Tai asked his sister.
"Yeah, everything's fine," she replied.
They heard a slash. They then saw Hoihoi-san dragged another dead cockroach out of the room. "Enjoy your day."
"At least we don't have to worry about the cockroaches much," Tai said. "How are you doing, Hoihoi-san?"
Hoihoi-san stops at the entrance of the door, then turns to face Tai. "Alright, I guess."
"You sound like something's on your mind," Kari said. "Anything up?"
Hoihoi-san thinks for a moment. "This might be a strange thing for me to say, but…I already knew you were gonna come here to this reality."
"You did?" Izzy replied with surprise. "How'd you know?"
"Yeah, we didn't even know what was going to happen," Tentomon added.
"I've watched over your reality. I am the Watcher of All Realities. I am the Eye of the Beholder. I've watched the events of your reality unfold. That must have been pretty rough for you all." Hoihoi-san said.
"You're kidding!" Tai said in disbelief. "I never would have guessed that you have that kind of power. So, I guess you know all of us pretty well, huh?"
"Pretty much." Hoihoi-san replied.
Tai leaned back on the couch and sighed. There was so much about this universe that confused him, and just a year ago, he never would have guessed that there were worlds outside of his own. He had never really put much thought into it before, until he had arrived in the digital world. Now, he learned that there were even more worlds out there than just his and that one. It was all hard to wrap his head around.
"How long have you been here, Hoihoi-san?" he asked.
"I've been here for two years now. Mostly because, for one, I've given a message to another reality known as the All Worlds Alliance, which is pretty much similar to this Agency here. I've given them the message, but it was lost in a different reality. So much for that." Hoihoi-san said. "Now, I'm here to help as best as I can. Which is a good change of paste for me."
"It sounds like you do a lot around here," Izzy said.
"Yeah. Including cleaning up the place of pests." Hoihoi-san said.
Tentomon buzzed around the apartment, looking around. "Well, it looks like you've done a good job at that. I don't see a single cockroach in this place."
"Yes." Hoihoi-san nodded.
Gokicha then came into the apartment center and saw Hoihoi-san, carrying a dead cockroach. She sighed.
"I'm just doing my job." Hoihoi-san said.
"I know, I know." Gokicha nodded.
"Just be glad I'm not gonna hurt you." Hoihoi-san then left the room.
Gokicha just scratched the back of her head a little, then turned to the three kids and Digimon, then bowed. "Good day to you." She then left the room.
Tai then stood up. "You know, I think I'm going to explore more of this place," he said. "I wonder what other interesting people we'll end up meeting."
"Maybe I should go, too," Izzy said. "Better make sure you don't get yourself into trouble."
Kari nodded and said, "I'll come along, too. Right, Gatomon?"
Gatomon smiled and the other two digimon got up along with her and the three kids and their partners exited the room and walked down the hallway.
The group walked down for a while, then saw a park outside in the middle of the Agency.
"That's new," Kari said. "I want to check that out."
"Sounds like a plan," Tai agreed, and the group headed for the park.
They do see a big tree in the middle of the park, then they see a bench that is under the tree, for shade. They do see some swings as well, but not shaded. And they do see a walkway going all around the park.
Kari and Gatomon walked over to the swings and sat down, while Izzy and Tentomon sat at the bench by the tree. Tai, on the other hand, wanted to get a better view of the area so he climbed up the tree and hauled himself onto a sturdy branch. He sat down and pulled out his mini telescope from his pants pocket and began to look around.
"See anything interesting?" Izzy asked. He had his laptop out and was playing around on the digimon analyzer.
"Nothing yet," Tai replied.
What he saw was wide open. There was nothing. Just field and field and field. Oh, and so is the nice beautiful sky. And behind him is a forested area.
Tai was now curious about the forested area he saw. He hopped down from the tree and headed for the wooded area. Agumon followed behind him.
"Don't get lost," Izzy called after him.
"Yeah, yeah. I won't get lost," Tai replied. He and Agumon headed into the wooded area, looking around for anything interesting.
They have gone to look around for a while. Nothing but green forest. They then come across ten white sticks with yellow crystals on top of them. Seems to be like a power source for the Agency.
"Whoa!" Tai exclaimed upon finding the sticks with crystals. "This is interesting."
Agumon began to reach for one of them, but Tai stopped him. "Might be best not to touch that."
"Oh, okay. What now, Tai?"
Tai shrugged. "Guess we'll head back. Not much else to do here."
They began heading back to the park. Kari and Gatomon were swinging, smiling and laughing, and Kari was even singing a song while she swung back and forth. Izzy was still looking up information on the digimon that they had faced in the past. He feared that if Wheatley was able to summon Kuwagamon, then who knew what else they would be facing off against? Drimogemon? Monochromon? Heck, even Devimon again? It was hard telling.
Once Tai arrived, he sat down on the bench beside Izzy. "Something up?" he asked.
"Do you think we'll have to face other digimon?"
"Probably. Here's hoping it's not any of Myotismon's goons at least," Tai replied.
"Let's hope it doesn't come to that, even though I don't know who you're talking about." Remon Yamano came to them, alongside Bee #5344 riding on her shoulder.
"Hey there," Tai said. "How are you guys doing?"
"Doing alright." Remon said.
"I'm kind of getting stressed out." 5344 said, clearly showing it.
Tentomon flew over to them and fluttered by them. "What's wrong?" he asked.
"Heh. She's sometimes like this." Remon said.
"Yeah, because every situation I get into involves you in it." 5344 said.
"At least you're not getting your ass killed or anything." Remon said.
"Hey, just be glad I'm not dead yet. But still. Sometimes these missions can be horrible whichever way you look at it." 5344 said.
"Speaking of, I wonder when we'll get another mission," Tai pondered aloud. "That last one was nuts. It was like an all-out war."
"Are the missions always that crazy?" Izzy asked.
"Sometimes it can be." Remon said.
"Which is nuts." 5344 nodded. "Why I don't wanna end up in one of those crazy antics."
"I just want to know what they're after, especially if they're coming after Kari," Tai said.
Remon thinks about this. "Yeah, I'm not sure either. If we knew who this Light One is, then we'll know what's going on. But for now, we're just in the dark on things."
In a way, Tai was hoping for a mission soon. The sooner that he could learn what was going on, the sooner he could protect his sister from the villains that were after her. Tai stood up and walked over to Remon and 5344. "I don't think I've asked before, but what brought you both here, to this world?"
Remon shrugged. "Well, I've heard of this place, and thought this might be an interesting place, since I'm already an agent of the Men In Black. I'm a girl, but I'm still a Man In Black."
"While for me, I was captured by a Persocom, who are internet-like androids. I'll explain them to you later, but one has captured me, but my friend Katy and the others saved me from that maniac, and so I joined here. And I am currently Remon's partner here, to my disbelief." 5344 said.
"You guys are assigned partners?" Agumon asked.
"Well, I assigned her to be my Man In Black partner." Remon said.
"To my disbelief." 5344 said.
It didn't sound like the two got along all that well, but Tai didn't pay it too much mind. It did come as surprising to him, as he and Agumon, who were destined partners, got along so well. Perhaps destiny had a play in that.
Kari hopped off the swing to join the others. Gatomon followed behind her. The two had overheard most of the conversation. "So, you're a Man in Black?" Kari asked. "That's really cool. What all did you do?"
Remon chuckled. "Well, I did encounter a lot of aliens in my days. I've come across one that falls in love with a human boy. I thought I might help them get close to each other. After all that, I've encountered more aliens, the good ones, and the dangerous ones. Hell, the dangerous ones can be a pain in the ass at times."
"Aliens, huh?" Tai replied thoughtfully. "I guess working here wasn't too strange of a transition then."
"No, not really. This is a good job to have here, as a Meta-Verse Agent. Dealing with the new and the strange, and meeting up with new people that are new and strange. I like it." Remon said.
"It is very interesting," Izzy agreed. "I've met people here that I could never fathom existed before. I've come to really like this place, but I do want to go home at some point."
"I know that feeling." 5344 nodded.
"We'll get you back home as soon as we can. Don't know when, but hopefully soon. As we dealt with this situation far more than it already is." Remon said.
Tai nodded. "We just have to make the most of it. This is home for the time being."
"I'm glad you're feeling more comfortable here." Remon said.
"It's hard not to be comfortable," Gatomon said. "We've got everything we need here. Food, shelter, new friends. Compared to what we've been through, it's a fine change of pace."
"I'm glad someone's liking it." 5344 said.
Remon nodded.
Then, Meta-Verse Patamon and Meta-Verse Gatomon came to them.
"What's up?" 5344 asked.
"Katy needs you all in the meeting room." Meta-Verse Patamon said.
The kids and Digimon exchanged looks and nodded. "Lead the way, then," Tai said. "Sounds like we've got trouble."
Later, everyone, including the Digidestineds and Digimon that are now awake after a power nap, has gotten to the meeting room.
"This is gonna be really, really strange. Because, what I'm about to say, is concerning. We're seeing Black Gears in a certain area in Japan." Katy said.
"Black Gears!" The DigiDestined exclaimed.
"But, the Black Gears stopped appearing after we defeated Devimon," Agumon said. "What are they doing in Japan?"
"Don't know. They're in Nishinomiya. I don't know how the Black Gears came." Katy said.
"And here I was thinking that the Black Gears are gone for good." Meta-Verse Patamon said.
"Well, if there's Black Gears, then that's right up our alley," Gomamon said.
"When are we heading out?" Tai asked. "Sounds like we've got some digital world problems, and we're the gang up for the job."
"We'll head out soon. And just to let you know, these Black Gears are all over the sky of Nishinomiya, so keep this in mind." Katy said.
"Don't worry. We know how to handle them," Tai replied.
"Problem is, are there any digimon that have shown up in Nishinomiya?" Matt asked.
"From what we can tell, there isn't. To my surprise." Katy said.
That was strange and concerning. Just what were Black Gears doing in the human world, especially with no digimon around?
"How are we getting there?" Sora asked.
"Same as the last time. Through the van truck." Katy said.
"Alright, then let's hit the road," Tai said eagerly.
After the meeting, they are heading straight towards the parking lot. Ann and some Agents are with the Digidestined and Digimon.
"I have some type of hunch on why the Black Gears are there." Ann said.
"Your hunches haven't been wrong so far," Mimi said. "Why do you think they're there?"
Ann looks solemn. "If Devimon isn't even there, then it probably would be my sister, Annabelle, who's in charge of the Black Gears now. And with no Digimon around, I don't know what to say there. But it seems my sister has control of the gears now."
"I'm sorry," Gatomon replied softly. "I know this is going to be hard, but is there any way we can defeat her? Does she have any weaknesses?"
"I don't think so. I don't think she has a weakness at all." Ann replied.
"Then we'll just have to power through like we did before," Tai said.
"Just be careful," Sora warned him. "We don't know just what we're up against yet."
"Oh, you're gonna be up against a supernatural power you have never even seen before. She is a demonic entity. She might even possess you if she even considers doing it." Ann said.
"Great…" Joe grumbled to himself. "First Nazis, now demons. What's next?"
"What's next? Angry gorillas." Milk said.
"That wouldn't surprise me," Gomamon said with a chuckle. "Just don't go wetting your pants now, Joe."
"Sorry for being worried," Joe replied sarcastically.
Ann sighed. "To tell you the truth, Annabelle was the true creator of the Black Gears. She uses them to darken the hearts of a Digimon, and controls them to her will. But, Devimon wants the Black Gears for his own gain, and so my sister gave them all to him. After the defeat of Devimon, it seems my sister has gained back her creation. Which is bad."
"Go figure that Devimon couldn't make something like that," Matt said. "But now we have to face the true creator of them, and I doubt she's going to be a walk in the park to fight."
"She truly isn't." Ann said.
"There's this one time when we have to fight her off alongside someone she knows: The devil himself…Satan." Paiman said.
"That's… insane…" Joe said. "Man, this whole thing is getting crazier and crazier."
"Settle down, Joe," Mimi said.
"That's right. As long as we stick together, we'll be just fine," Tai added. "We've faced plenty of big, evil digimon, we can handle this."
"Let's hope we can." Paiman said.
Everyone then got to the van truck, where Flandre, Luluco and Koyuki were.
"Ooba. Seems like we got ourselves ready." Flandre said.
"Yep. Everybody inside." Tsumiki Miniwa said.
Later, everyone is driving to Nishinomiya.
"This is gonna be different from the last time you faced the Black Gears. Now, it seems like every one of them is flying sky high." Milk said.
"And no Digimon…" Matt said softly. "We'll have to watch each others' backs to make sure those gears don't get any of our digimon. If we lose our partners to mind control, then we'll be in big trouble."
"I don't want that happening. It's worse enough then it is already with those wretched gears. They should have never been made at all. Period." Ann said.
The digimon all nodded in agreement. "We'll make sure those gears don't get us," Biyomon said. "Most of us can reach Ultimate Level now, so we should be fine."
"Let's hope a Black Gear doesn't even hit an Ultimate Level, because Annabelle has possessed an Ultimate Level Digimon before." Ann said.
Everyone grew quiet. "You have?" Tentomon asked. "Oh, dear. We may be in bigger trouble than we thought."
"My sister is quite cruel. And disturbing. She has even possessed more than that. She has controlled a Rookie Digimon before, but she has lost all connection with the Rookie one. Must have been because the Gears don't have that type of power to control a Rookie Digimon yet. But let's hope that's the case here as well." Ann said.
"You guys might not be digivolving then," Sora said. "We can't chance you getting under her control."
"But we have to," Patamon said. "How else are we going to fight?"
"He got a point. Only thing you need to keep in mind is, don't let the Gears touch you. That's all I'm saying." Katy said.
Nishinomiya
The kids watched out the window as they neared their destination. They could begin to see gears flying about the sky, meaning that they must be getting close. Tai watched worriedly as they spun about the air, flying in all directions.
"What's the plan then?" T.K. asked.
"We might as well see why those Gears are flying about." Nanachi looks out the window as well.
Not just the Black Gears are flying about, but the sky seems very dark and cloudy as well. Not a pleasant sight to see.
"This doesn't look good," Gabumon said. "Whatever is controlling those gears must be powerful." He could feel his fur prickle from sensing a powerful force.
"That's bad." Ann said.
"We're heading there now." Katy said.
The van truck then rolled into the city of Nishinomiya, then the Agents got out of the truck.
"Alright. Let's go find that bastard and tell him or her to stop this bullshit mess." Milk said.
Agumon sniffed the air, trying to pick up a scent of any kind. "Something does feel off," he said. "Should I go ahead and digivolve, Tai?"
"You bet," he said, and Agumon digivolve into Greymon. The massive T-Rex scanned the area, looking for any potential enemies.
To his surprise, he does see a girl far ahead with purple hair. She is seen waving her hand around the air.
Greymon relayed the message to the others. "Should we approach her?" Tai asked.
"We probably should. Find out what's going on." Reg said.
Tai and Greymon led the way over to the purple-haired girl. "Hey, who are you?" He called out to her.
She isn't even responding.
Reg then picks up another scent.
"What's up?" Nanachi asked.
"Someone else is here." Reg said.
"Biyomon, why don't you fly around the area and see what you can find?" Sora asked her partner.
"You should go too, Patamon," T.K. said.
The two digimon took off to scan the area, trying to find the other scent that Reg had picked up on.
They then came across a little girl sitting on the chair on a rooftop of a building, watching them come. She has brown hair and wears a white short sleeve dress.
"I knew you would come." The girl said.
"Who are you?" Patamon asked.
The girl gets up. "You must be the angel." She walks closer to the edge of the building. "Tell me something. Have you ever ascended to the heavens before?"
"Um… what do you mean?" Patamon asked, confused.
The girl pasted around. "Nothing in particular. Angels are despised. Angels are despair. You should be careful who you're trusting. Because I'm not as normal as you think." Her hand then turned into a black monstrous hand with red claws. "Because I'm not who you think I am." She said in a demonic voice.
Biyomon and Patamon began to back off. "Do you think that's Annabelle?" Biyomon said.
"I don't know, but we need to get back to the others," Patamon replied. The two spun around and flew back to their partners as quickly as they could.
"What did you find?" Reg asked.
"I think we found Annabelle," Patamon said. "She said that angels are despised and that she wasn't as normal as we think, then her hand turned into a weird claw."
Ann's eyes widened. "It could be her."
"And right you are, sister."
They saw that the girl suddenly appeared in front of them.
"Annabelle…" Ann said, frightened.
"Oh come on, taking on the form of a little girl now?" Milk grabs out her milk sword.
"Everyone, digivolve," Tai commanded.
Greymon digivolve again into MetalGreymon, Gatomon digivolve into Angewomon, while everyone else digivolved into their champion levels.
"No one's gonna kill me. I live on…for eternity." The girl, revealed to be Annabelle, then moves some of the Black Gears in the sky, then sends them flying towards the Digimon.
Birdramon digivolve again into Garudamon while Togemon digivolved into Lillymon. The two flew up along with Kabuterimon and fired their Wing Blade, Flower Cannon, and Electro Shocker at the gears coming towards them, vaporizing them. MetalGreymon's chest plates opened up and he and Ikkakumon fired missiles at the oncoming gears. Angemon and Angewomon stayed back-to-back and fought off the gears as they came closer. Garurumon used his Howling Blaster and wiped out a stream of gears.
"You're gonna have to do better than that," Tai said. "You'll never get our digimon."
Annabelle snickered, demonically. "You think I have more than just Black Gears?" She asked, demonically, then, all of a sudden, Lillymon dropped down to the ground by an unseen supernatural force.
Mimi dashed over to her fallen digimon. "Lillymon, are you okay?" she asked.
Annabelle walks closer to Mimi and Lillymon, with her hand turning into a monstrous hand. "You think things are easy, when they're not. Everything can be harder. Everything will burn to the ground in ashes. In Hell." Her face then turns black as ash. "You'll all die here under my hands."
"I don't think so," Garurumon said as he charged for Annabelle. "Howling Blaster!" He then unleashed a jet of blue fire at her.
It did hit her, but she flew out of the blast, then she changed into her demonic form, then roared.
"Garurumon digivolve to… WereGarurumon!" the beast howled as he digivolved into his werewolf form. He charged again for Annabelle, raising his claws and ready to strike her down.
"Death is upon you. Hell is upon you!" Annabelle roared while charging towards WereGarurumon.
The two met halfway and WereGarurumon swung his claws, crying out, "Wolf Claw!"
Annabelle dodges them and smacks WereGarurumon in the stomach.
WereGarurumon faltered and staggered back. MetalGreymon, who had fended off most of the Black Gears that were coming after him, launched his Giga Blaster at Annabelle.
Annabelle suddenly disappeared.
Reg tries to sense Annabelle. "Dammit! I can't sense her!"
Annabelle then reappeared right in front of Tai.
Tai stepped back, but didn't let his brave face fall. He stared her down and said, "I'm not afraid of you."
Annabelle got close to his face. "Oh, but you will." She then turns to face Kari, then smiles.
Ann notices this, then gets in front of Kari. "If you're thinking of getting after her, then I won't allow it."
"You don't understand, sister. Gatomon would have done the job of handing over Kari to Myotismon herself if she didn't even betray him." Annabelle said.
Angewomon saw what was happening and dived down on Annabelle. She summoned her bow of light and knocked an arrow and fired. "Celestial Arrow!"
Annabelle grabs the Celestial Arrow. "Tell me. Why did you betray Myotismon?"
"Because this is my destiny, to protect Kari," Angewomon said. "I was never meant to follow Myotismon, and I see that now."
"Oh, really? Is that your reasoning?" Annabelle then walks closer to Angewomon. "I have this all planned up for you to work for him, and then you go and betray him. My disciple. My brother."
"Should have picked your family better, Annabelle," Tai said. "MetalGreymon, get her!"
MetalGreymon roared and charged for Annabelle, raising his claw and ready to bring it down on her.
Annabelle grabs MetalGreymon's claw. "You're so desperate. Trying to fight this off. While you know that you'll win, it'll mean nothing to you. Nothing at all. But just some weak spots." She threw the claw towards a car.
Ann grabs Kari with her red yarn hair and puts her inside a building. "Stay safe in there. I'll deal with my sister."
"Kari!" Tai cried out as he watched her vanish.
Kari was left alone in the building, fearful of what was about to happen to her. She tried to find a window to look out to see if she could see the rest of the fight.
"Looks like you're being hunted down, are you?" A girl came to Kari.
This girl has medium-long brown hair and brown eyes. She wears a blue kimono, white socks and flip-flops. This is Oriko Seki, aka Okko.
"My name is Oriko Seki. But everyone calls me Okko."
"My name is Kari," she replied. "Can you help me out of here?"
"With what?" Oriko asked.
Kari sighed. It looked like she was trapped. She would just have to hope that the others would be able to get her out.
Oriko went to one of the windows, and saw that the fight was going on. "It looks like a rag doll is trying to protect you from that demon. You should be thankful she did that to save you."
"You're right, but…" Kari was worried about her digimon and her friends. She hated just sitting back and not doing anything but watching.
Meanwhile, MetaGreymon had recovered and was aiming his Giga Blaster at Annabelle once again.
Annabelle disappears yet again, then reappears in front of MetalGreymon and smacks him in the face, then holds him up in the air with supernatural force.
MetalGreymon struggled in the air but was unable to get free. Then, the unthinkable happened. The Black Gears that were still swarming the sky began to descend again. This time, one of them embedded itself into his back. MetalGreymon roared but soon fell under the control of the Black Gear.
Annabelle laughed, evilly. "You're mine now." She puts MetalGreymon down on the ground.
Ann's eyes widened. "He's under her control…"
MetalGreymon turned to face the others, his eyes glowed a crimson red and he snarled as he advanced towards them. His chest plates opened up and he cried out, "Giga Blaster!" as he fired twin missiles at Tai and the others.
"Get down!" Katy shouted.
Everyone then dodges the Giga Blaster, then Reg charges towards MetalGreymon. He extended his arms and tried to punch MetalGreymon.
MetalGreymon made no move to dodge it, but didn't seem all that fazed by the attack. Garudamon and Kabuterimon saw what had happened and dived down, firing their attacks at him, but he still didn't seem all that hurt. He raised his claw and said, "Mega Claw!" and the claw fired and struck Kabuterimon, then the claw retracted back to MetalGreymon's arm.
"Dammit." Nanachi then charges towards MetalGreymon, then leaps up onto his back.
Gokicha was on Nanachi's shoulder. "We have to remove the Black Gear!"
"But how?" Nanachi asked, thinking, while staying cautious as she is on MetalGreymon's back.
Garudamon descended and she and MetalGreymon's claws locked. "I'll hold him," she called out. "Someone get that gear out of him."
More gears began to descend and were coming towards the other digimon. Kabuterimon recovered from being hit by the Mega Claw and quickly intercepted the gears that were coming towards Garudamon. The digimon focused on wiping out the gears before any more of them could be brainwashed as well.
"She's buying us some time." Nanachi said.
Gokicha gets off of Nanachi, then runs towards the Black Gear, her hand brightens. "Hikari no Chakra!" She punches the Black Gear with her very strong might.
The gear immediately shattered, and MetalGreymon's grip on Garudamon softened. "W-what happened?" he asked, partially dazed.
"You got controlled by the Black Gear. But don't worry. Cockroach girl here saved you from that brainwashing son of a bitch gear." Nanachi said.
"I see…" MetalGreymon then turned back to Annabelle. "I'll get you for that." He took a few thunderous stomps towards her, with Garudamon right behind him.
"So I see. You still have not seen it yet. My true potential." Annabelle reverts back to her human form. "It seems our dark hour seems to be misplaced." She then summons a very dark tornado and it hits the water right next to where they're at.
"Whippity pow! What's that?!" Katy points at the dark tornado.
"That doesn't look good!" Izzy shouted.
Kabuterimon attempted to hit the tornado with an Electro Shocker, hoping to cause it to dissipate.
The Electro Shocker hits the tornado, but it is revealed that dark ghouls have created the tornado. Some of the ghouls then flew down to the team and attacked.
"Celestial Arrow!" Angewomon calls out as she fires an arrow of light at the ghouls.
"Hand of Fate!" Angemon joined in as he assisted in helping to stop the ghouls from advancing.
Some of the ghouls dissipate from the Celestial Arrow and the Hand of Fate.
Ann grabs Annabelle with her red yarn hair. "Stop this at once!"
Annabelle snickered. "You care for them so much, sister. But you don't know the true side of things."
"No. You don't know the true side of things." Ann wraps herself around Annabelle, trying to stick her to the ground.
Tomoko Kuroki darkens her sword. "Super Dark Spin!" She threw her sword and it spins around, hitting some of the ghouls and they dissipate.
"Wing Blade!" Garudamon cried out as she unleashed a massive bird made of fire at the ghouls, but it just seemed that there was no end to them.
Katy grabs out her Big Impact Gun and shoots at the ghouls, hitting some of them.
"They just keep coming!" Paiman shoots at them with his laser gun.
Then, a girl appeared to them. And to their relief, it was Ripple.
"Ripple!" Tai exclaimed. "Man, are we glad to see you!"
MetalGreymon fired more missiles at the ghouls but was pretty occupied by fighting them off to take much notice of anything else around him.
"I thought I might help you guys in this fight." Ripple grabs out her shurikens and throws them at the ghouls, hitting some of them.
"Just how many of these things are we going to have to fight?" Matt asked. WereGarurumon was still trying to fend off the Black Gears that were still trying to come down on the digimon.
Ann manages to smack Annabelle, that led her to feel pain, and that did cause each ghoul to dissipate. The dark tornado then dissipated as well.
"Now's our chance!" Tai said. "Let's get her!"
The digimon now charged for Annabelle, trying to give Ann some backup against her sister.
"You think you can stop me! But I will return! Just you wait, sister!" Annabelle then disappears, retreating from the battle.
Ann turns back to normal. "She'll be back."
They saw that the Black Gears were still flying in the sky.
"Looks like we still have some work to do," T.K. said. "Angemon, take care of them!"
"You too, Lillymon!" Mimi said.
Angemon and Lillymon took off into the sky and were blasting gears, destroying many of them. From the ground, Ikkakumon fired his Harpoon Torpedo, while MetalGreymon launched his Giga Blaster. The rest of the digimon were also fighting off the gears, doing everything they could to wipe them out.
Konata Izumi looks out in this battle, then she sees that the purple-haired girl was actually the one that is controlling the Black Gears. "It can't be."
Angewomon was the first to notice the purple-haired girl among the digimon. She broke away from fighting the gears to fly over to Konata and the mystery girl. "What's going on?" she asked.
"I'm figuring out she's the one who's doing this." Konata then grabs the purple-haired girl, then turns her around. And to her horror, the purple-haired girl's chest has a Black Gear in it. "Oh my God."
"But how?" Angewomon demanded. "Those gears… can they really affect humans as well?" She then knocked an arrow and took aim at the gear. The arrow was smaller than normal, as she didn't want to risk harming the girl. She then let go and fired the arrow at the gear.
The arrow breaks the gear, which causes the girl to go back to normal. The Black Gears then stopped, then they flew away from the team, leaving Nishinomiya.
The kids cheered as their partners returned to them and reverted back to their Rookie stages. Gatomon walked over to the girl and asked, "Are you all right?"
The girl scratches her head. "W-what just happened? Why am I out here?" She saw the team. "Who are you guys?"
Tai and the others introduced themselves. "Who are you?" he asked her.
"I'm Yuki Nagato."
"You're the normal Nagato." Konata said.
"Wait, there's another me?" Yuki asked, in shock.
Konata nodded. "There is a you that is actually an alien."
"Oh wow. Haruhi would like that." Yuki thinks to herself.
Oriko and Kari have gotten out of the building, seeing the aftermath of the battle.
Tai immediately ran over to Kari and put his hands on her shoulders. "Kari! Are you all right?"
"I'm fine," she said. She then turned to Ann. "Thank you for saving me back there."
Ann nodded. "I just don't want my sister anywhere near you."
Kari nodded as well. "Yeah, I really don't anywhere near her."
Tai sighed and looked Agumon over. "Are you doing okay, buddy? You've never been hit by a gear like that."
"I'm okay, Tai," Agumon replied. "I don't remember anything that happened after she lifted me into the air, the next thing I knew, I was fighting Garudamon. It was strange."
"Those Black Gears are still out there. And so we need to find a way to stop them. And it seems like now they can embed themselves into humans as well." Ann said.
"Now we have to worry about us getting brainwashed too," Joe groaned.
"What do you think would happen if one of us gets hit with those gears?" Matt asked. "You don't think it would cause our digimon to turn evil, too, right?"
"It won't affect Digimon. It'll only affect you. And what you may do if a gear hits you. Well, do something psycho like trying to kill us off." Ann said.
Everyone grew silent, trying to take in everything that had just happened. Everyone was accounted for and safe for the most part, but now they had a demon along with Nazis to worry about.
"Now what, gang?" Tai asked.
"I say we head back to base." Katy turns to Yuki. "You can come with us."
Yuki's eyes widened, seeing a talking caterpillar for the first time. "Um, okay. Sure, I will." She nodded.
"Welcome aboard." Milk said.
Meta-Verse Department Agency
Later, they've gotten back to the Meta-Verse Department Agency, where they relaxed yet again.
"Today was nuts," Joe was the first to speak up.
"Yeah, you can say that again," Matt agreed.
Hoihoi-san nodded, while cleaning up the place. "It seems like that doll has been revived as a human child. And a demon also. It might get worse."
"It already is." Katy took a sip of her cup of tea.
"It definitely seems like things are pretty rough," Tai said. "But at least we won."
"We did win." Hoihoi-san said.
Then, they saw eight females come into the room.
The first female has short green hair and emerald eyes. She has two robotic ears. She wears a white long-sleeve shirt, red skirt, white thigh-high socks and brown loafers. This is HMX-12 Multi, or just Multi.
The second female has light blue hair and blue eyes. She wears a red long-sleeve vest, white dress, black thigh-high socks and brown loafers. This is Dokuro Mitsukai.
The third female has medium length, straight light brown hair and brown-goldish eyes. She has white cat ears and a white cat tail. She wears a white sleeveless shirt, blue skirt, white socks and brown loafers. This is Nya-Tan.
The fourth female has long straight chestnut brown hair in color which reaches about just below her shoulder blades in length with matching blunt square side-bangs on the left side with a section of it tied onto a half ponytail on the back of her head and crimson eyes. She wears a purple witch hat, purple long-sleeve dress and purple knee-high boots. This is Atsuko Kagari.
The fifth female has dark blonde hair which goes down to the nape of her neck and emerald eyes. She wears a gray long-sleeve vest, white shirt, gray skirt, black socks and brown loafers. This is Nana Daiba.
The sixth female has slightly wavy plum hair which reaches to her chest and jade-green eyes. She wears the same uniform as Nana, albeit wearing white socks instead. This is Junna Hoshimi.
The seventh female has blue hair and blue eyes. She wears a red hat, red long-sleeve robe and brown loafers. This is Anna Lemouri.
The eighth female has dyed chestnut blonde hair that has bangs swept to the left side and emerald green eyes. She wears a white long-sleeve shirt, brown checkered skirt, black almost-to-the-knee socks and brown loafers. This is Yuzu Aihara.
"Wow. Multiple guests." Katy sips at her tea.
"We heard about the situation. You guys did well back there." Junna said.
"Thanks!" Tai replied. "What are you guys up to?"
"We're just checking to see how you guys are, nya. That's all." Nya-Tan said.
"We're doing fine," Sora said. "Today was pretty tough, but we pulled through. I still can't believe we're fighting a demon now, though."
"Demons can be scary." Atsuko said.
"Well, some demons are nice." Anna said. "There are some friendly demons here."
"That's hard to believe, judging by the way that one was," Izzy said. "But there is still a lot about the universe we don't know yet, so who am I to judge if a demon's good or evil?"
Yuzu nodded. "That's true."
"Hope we have something good today, Katy-sensei." Nana said.
"Oh don't worry. I was thinking about having a game of checkers next." Katy said.
"Checkers? Seriously? You should pull out Twister." Milk said.
"That game's painful." Katy said.
"I'm up for a game of twister!" Tai said. "Right Agumon?"
"I'll play some checkers with you, Katy," Sora said.
"It looks like someone agrees with checkers." Katy said.
"Twister!" Milk said.
"Everyone's excited." Multi said.
Dokuro nodded. "Seems that way."
Meanwhile, Koyuki, who is in her magical girl form, Snow White, is in the practice room, practicing her skill of her sword that is the form of a cherry blossom tree stick. Hakumei, T.K., Patamon and Meta-Verse Patamon came to Snow White.
"Hiya, Snow White!" T.K. said happily. "What're you up to? Just training?"
"Oh hi." Snow White stopped swinging her sword and turned to the four. "Yes. I am."
"You're doing good so far as far as I can tell." Hakumei said. She is riding on Patamon's back.
Snow White chuckled. "Thank you. I never thought I would be training for these types of missions."
"Do you want someone to spar with?" Patamon asked. "I can help you train if you'd like?"
Snow White smiled. "I'll accept."
Hakumei hops off of Patamon and onto Meta-Verse Patamon.
Patamon digivolve into Angemon and took a fighting stance with his staff. "I'll let you make the first move," he said to Snow White.
Snow White nodded, then she charged at Angemon and started the practice fight.
The two warriors' weapons locked and they parried one another's blows. Agnemon swept the staff under Snow White's feet, trying to knock her off balance.
Snow White got knocked off, falling on her back. "I might still need to practice a little." She got up. "I'm okay."
A girl then came to T.K., Hakumei and Meta-Verse Patamon. "So, she's training. That's what I want to see."
"You're Ripple, right?" Hakumei asked.
The girl nodded. "I am. But my civilian name is Kano Sazanami."
"Kano, huh," T.K. repeated thoughtfully. "Say, Ripple, when did you become a magical girl?"
Kano sighed. "It was a while ago. I get prone to fights with people all the time. I got sick of my family life. Then, the thought of being a magical girl came to me. I was hoping this would help me feel better, but then, as I found out, it got worse. The Project was nothing but a lie."
"What was the project like?" T.K. asked. "I heard it's really bad."
"It is. It's a really bad slaughterhouse. I wasn't okay with it. So I have Snow White as my assistant to fight off against the Project, and the magical girls who have been brainwashed by this project who do not realize they have a life ahead of them." Kano said.
"Is there any way we can save them?" T.K. asked.
Kano thinks about it. "I don't know. I just don't know."
Hakumei looks at Kano, saddened. "Well, let's just hope there is a way. Because, I don't want them to hurt each other anymore then it is."
Kano nodded. "I know. I know."
Meanwhile, Ann is soaking up some of her laundry to let her wash up. She then let them dry outside in the hanging rack.
"Need some help?" Kari asked as she and Gatomon walked over to her.
Ann turned to the both of them. "Nah. I'm fine." She then got to the chair, then sat down. "So, how are you two doing now, since that whole thing is over? For now."
"Can I be honest with you?" Kari asked. "I'm pretty worried and scared. I don't get why those guys are after me, and if you hadn't done something earlier, then Annabelle might have gotten a hold of me. I just… I don't know…"
Ann nodded. "I understand. I did it to protect you. I keep having these blurry and bright visions of you. I don't know what they are, but they must be some type of warning. Some type of warning I don't know what it might be."
"What are those visions about, or are they pretty sporadic?" Kari asked.
"They're literally pretty much sporadic alright." Ann nodded. "I don't know what goes on in those visions. I can't even see a thing. I can make you out alright, but you're blurry and everything is bright I couldn't see."
"I see…" Kari said. "They must be important though. I'll just have to watch my back better."
"Don't worry, Kari," Gatomon said. "I'll protect you no matter what."
"Just be glad you have someone to protect you by your side." Ann said.
Kari chuckled. "Yeah, I'd be in deep trouble without Gatomon."
Ann nodded. Then sighed.
Meanwhile, with Katy and Milk, they were looking through stuff.
"How the hell am I looking through all this?" Milk asked.
Katy looked at one of the papers, then saw a note. She picks it up, then looks at it. "I have the Space Core Element.-Wheatley."
"What?" Milk asked in shock.
Katy looks at Milk. "He has the Space Core Element. This is bad."
Unknown World
Meanwhile, with Wheatley, in an abandoned building, he has opened a portal, then gotten a sea dragon Digimon to come out of it. This is Seadramon.
Seadramon growled and looked at Wheatley, expectantly.
"They've defeated you before. Garurumon has been defeated before. But don't worry. I have a surprise for you." Wheatley grabs out a vial filled with space-like liquid. He then splashes it onto Seadramon, then he glows, then, all of a sudden, the sea dragon feels stronger than before.
Seadramon let out a triumphant and deafening roar, feeling the power coursing through him. He turned back to Wheatley and said, "What do you wish for me to do?"
"Find the Digidestined…and kill them. Once and for all." Wheatley laughed, evilly.
