Bell stood alongside the monster he had saved, a mix of nerves and determination in his eyes. Before them stood Goddess Hestia, her radiant presence emanating warmth and kindness.
Gathering his courage, Bell took a deep breath and began to speak. " Goddess Hestia, I... I couldn't just leave her behind. but she's just like anyone else. She was scared and desperate, and I couldn't ignore that."
After a brief pause to gather her thoughts, Hestia responded in a more relatable manner, allowing her own humanity to shine through. "Well, Bell, I can see that you have a big heart. It's admirable that you want to help others, even if they look different. But we also need to think about everyone's safety."
Bell nodded, his youthful features filled with understanding and determination. "I know it might seem risky, Goddess Hestia, but I couldn't just leave her alone. She was scared, and all she wanted was to find safety. I couldn't turn my back on her."
Hestia's expression softened as she observed Bell's unwavering belief in his actions. After a moment of contemplation, she sighed and smiled warmly, her voice conveying a touch of hesitation mixed with acceptance. "Fine, she can stay here with us. I will trust in your judgment and offer my guidance to both of you."
Bell's face lit up with gratitude, his trust in Hestia solidifying. He understood that she, too, had her own reservations, but her willingness to support him made bell respect Goddess Hestia more then he already did.
The monster, who had been silently observing, took a step forward, her eyes reflecting a mix of gratitude and hope. Hestia turned her attention to her, wearing a gentle smile. "Welcome, dear one. I understand the fear and struggles you've faced. You will be safe here."
Goddess Hestia turned her attention to the monster, her eyes filled with a gentle curiosity. "So, do you have a name?" she asked.
The monster hesitated for a moment before speaking. "Bell," she said tentatively, her voice almost a whisper.
Bell's eyes widened in surprise, and he shook his head vigorously. "Oh, no! That's my name."
The monster seemed taken aback, her eyes filled with confusion as she tilted her head. "My...name... don't know."
Hestia watched the exchange with a gentle smile, her eyes brimming with compassion. She turned to Bell, a knowing twinkle in her eye. "Well, Bell, maybe it's up to you to give her a name. You brought her here after all."
Bell supprised that he was picked for something so important panicking his mind for a suitable name. He thought back to the stories his grandfather used to tell him, hoping for inspiration. After a moment of deep thought, he blurted out, "Melsuin!"
Caster pondered the suggestion for a moment before expressing his thoughts. "Melsuin does have a nice ring to it, but it might be a bit too eye-catching. We wouldn't want her drawing too much attention."
Bell's excitement deflated a bit, his brows furrowing. He understood Caster's point and began to search for another option. After a moment, Hestia's voice chimed in, offering a suggestion. "What about Wiene? Sounds cute don't you think?"
Bell's face brightened, a smile spreading across his features. "Wiene... I like it!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "Welcome, Wiene!"
Wiene, now named Wiene, looked at Bell and Hestia, her eyes filled with gratitude and a sense of belonging.
After spending some time talking with Wiene, Bell realized that he needed to take a break and get some food. Caster, always ready with his witty remarks, chimed in, "Bell, your stomach is as loud as a chimera's roar. Let's find something to eat before you start attracting attention."
Agreeing with his companion, Bell excused himself from the conversation with Wiene, promising to return shortly. As he walked through the bustling streets, he couldn't shake off the feeling that someone was watching him. However, this time the presence felt less hostile and more curious.
Just as Bell was about to enter a nearby food stall, he felt a gentle touch on his shoulder. Turning around, his eyes met those of a girl with bluish-gray hair tied in a small ponytail. Her eyes matched the color of her hair, and her smooth peachy skin gave her a radiant appearance. She wore a white blouse and a knee-length skirt in a leafy shade, accentuated by a half apron around her waist. Brown boots covered her feet, and black stockings completed her attire.
The girl's voice was warm and inviting as she spoke, her words flowing like a gentle breeze. "Hey there! I couldn't help but notice you. You seem like a adventurer. How about eating at the Hostess of Fertility."
Bell's heart fluttered, his cheeks turning a bright shade of red. He found himself at a loss for words, stumbling over his own thoughts. Caster, on the other hand, couldn't resist teasing him. "Oh, look at Bell, all flustered and speechless. I guess even heroes have their moments, huh?"
As they entered the pub, Bell couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. The atmosphere was lively, filled with adventurers sharing tales and raising their glasses in celebration.
The girl, whose name Bell had yet to learn, guided him to a table, her eyes shining with a mix of excitement and warmth. "Here we are! Make yourself comfortable. What will you be Ordering."
After taking the order the girl left to ask different adventures about their orders and bell tried to calm down himself after this experience and think about the situation about wiene.
As Bell sat at the table, still flustered from the encounter, a large plate of steaming spaghetti was placed in front of him. He looked up, his eyes widening in surprise, as he saw a person with cat ears and a tail serving him. The cat-eared individual wore a friendly smile and seemed to exude a playful energy.
"Enjoy your meal, adventurer!" the cat-eared server said cheerfully, before gracefully moving away to attend to other patrons.
Bell couldn't help but be fascinated by the unique charm of the pub. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, stories, and the clinking of glasses. Caster, too, absorbed the lively ambiance, relishing in the vibrant energy surrounding them.
As Bell started to enjoy his plate of spaghetti, savoring the delicious flavors, he felt a shift in Caster's presence within his mind. The usually playful and carefree spirit turned serious, his voice echoing in Bell's thoughts. "Bell, don't look behind you. Something's not right."
Bell's spoon froze midway to his mouth, a sudden wave of unease washing over him. He trusted Caster's instincts and knew that something unexpected was about to unfold. With a mix of curiosity and caution, he tried to keep his focus on his meal, all the while feeling a tingling sensation at the back of his neck.
The chatter and laughter around him continued, seemingly unaware of the impending disturbance. Bell struggled to maintain his composure, his eyes fixated on the plate of spaghetti, as if it held the answers he sought.
Caster's voice resounded in Bell's mind once more, this time filled with urgency. "Stay calm, Bell. Whatever happens, remember that you're not alone. We'll face it together."
Bell's heart raced, his mind flooded with questions and apprehension. He trusted Caster's guidance implicitly and braced himself for what lay ahead, determined to face any challenge that came his way.
Amidst the noise and commotion of the pub, Bell continued to eat, his senses heightened, and his every instinct on alert. The air around him seemed to thicken, anticipation hanging in the atmosphere like a tangible presence.
As the seconds ticked by, Bell's grip tightened on his spoon, his gaze fixed firmly on his plate. He knew that whatever lay behind him would soon reveal itself, and he was prepared to confront it head-on, guided by Caster's wisdom and his own unyielding spirit.
