Chapter 2 - Destined Fate

In the first chapter, the backstories of the two main characters, Jennah Hexar and Tino Feriner was revealed through flashback. In the present time, Tino was been harassed by a group of bandits. But then, Jennah arrived in, confronted the bandit group.

Will it could be their first meeting between two destined pair?

The group of bandits, looked with a surprise shocking manner, as Jennah pointed the gun at them, while Tino, still helded by a female bandit, was watching her from behind.

The leader, tried to released his own gun from his pocket, but however Jennah said, with amusement " I know that you will gonna released your weapon to killed me, what a pathetic criminal leader. After all, all of you will be eliminated for good. "

Everyone in the group were frightened of what she had said. But however, the female bandit released her own gun, grabbing Tino, helding him as a hostage victim, then she pointed to Tino, said in a demand manner " Put down your gun or else I will killed this gorgeous precious young man. "

" No! Don't do it! " Tino shouted

Instead of surrendering her weapon, she released a grenade bomb from her bag.

" No! I think it was... " a bandit member uttered

" She was trying to throwed a grenade bomb! Everyone, retreat! " the leader told the members

She throwed the grenade bomb quickly, making the bandit group to run away. The female bandit, shocked in horror, tried to shoot her, but however Tino kicks her at the stomach, making her to fell in the ground, released himself from her grasp. After a few minutes, everyone were retreated away from the place.

As the criminals had already left, Jennah put back her gun in her pocket and then she went approached to Tino, who was completely exhausted. He was almost to fell collapsed, but Jennah reached him, by helding him on both of her arms. When she looks at him, she was getting to startled at his face for the very first time. Also, Tino did the same way as she did.

" Are you alright, Mister? "

" Yes, I'm fine. Thanks for rescuing me back then. I never thought a bounty hunter just like you who had helped others who are in need. "

" It was nothing. After all, a duty is a duty. That was my responsibility as a bounty hunter. "

Tino, smiled at her of what she had said, making her to get blushed in red.

" Why are you smiling at me just like that, Mister? "

" Is because you are far more different from other people living here. I think it sensed in my mind that you have a better future. Somehow, you are my female knight in shining armor of my whole life. No other persons could understand of what I truly feels except to my family and my friends as well. You are the third one, of course. "

" You think so? Where did you learn those sayings anyway? "

" It was came from my own mind, of course. "

She was surprised of what he had said. That very moment, the two are looking at each other for the very first time, in a romantic manner. After a few minutes, Jennah said to him " I think I should bring you back to your home. Your parents will be getting so worried about you. "

" Thank you and what was your name? "

" My name is Jennah Hexar and yours, Mister? "

" My name is Tino Feriner. It was a great pleasure to meet you, Jennah. "

" Wait... are you the only child of the admiral mayor, Mr Robert Feriner?! " with a surprise shocking manner on her face

" Yes, I am. " with a little shy expression on his face

" Wow, I didn't expect that I will meet the rich child of the admiral mayor in personal. So, it was a pleasure to meet you again, Mr Tino. "

" You too, Jennah. " with a smile on his face

And so, Jennah brought Tino back to the Feriner's mansion house, through riding a horse. The admiral mayor, Robert, was surprised when he sees Jennah for the very first time in personal.

" Jennah Hexar, I can't believe it was you after all. Thanks for saving my son from great danger. " Robert said to her

" Not at all, admiral mayor Robert. It was my duty to protect those people who are in need. Will you excused me then, I need to go now. " Jennah replied

Then, Jennah left the mansion house, riding in her horse. Tino, was watching at her from afar, holding his locket necklace, placed in his chest, through his hand, was started to developed crush on Jennah for the very first time and also, to started to feel the real meaning of love.

The next morning at the saloon bar, Jennah was having relaxed, sat in a wooden chair, drinking a glass of red wine, with a group of friends who were surrounded sitting beside her.

" You had been rescued the rich son of the admiral mayor last night?! " Mica asked her, in a surprise manner

(Mica - was the resourceful member of the group. She loves to traveled and to see new things. She was the slingshotter of the group.)

" Yes, those funky criminals wanted to harassed him even in the middle of the night in outside of the town. Those damn bastards... " Jennah replied, still drinking her glass of red wine, with a little gritted mad expression on her face

" Ugh, I can't believe it. Why he was supposed to go out in the town all by himself even it was late at night? He has supposed to have his own bodyguard, to defend him of course. " Hender said, with a little impatient expression on his face

(Hender - the center forward backupper of the group. He was the youngest member in Jennah's group. He has a sword and a huge shield.)

" Rich people should always concern for their safety even though that we didn't know when the invaders will gonna strike soon. " Valerie stated

(Valerie - the swift mager of the group. She loves to write and to carrying heavy things. She was a well skilled motorcycle rider. She was the holder of a rifle gun.)

" I think you got the point there, Valerie. After all, the government and the military were started to make an action move against the invaders, led by Lieutenant Margeret. " Pobo stated, eating a chocolate cookie

(Pobo - Pobo is a mouse creature. He was served as the brains and the distractor of the group. His favorite hobby was to collect brand new informations and to discovered hidden history of every old places from across the world. His dream was to become the no. one researcher in the whole world)

Jennah put down the glass on the wooden table, said to them " It makes sense that the evil invaders will gonna strike soon but somehow, Commander Wayer commands me that I will be the one to tracked down every criminals in every parts of the country, to prevent more violent crime and casualties and also, to rescued those who were held captive and those who were suffered with great pain. When I first saw him in my own eyes, I thought that a rich son of a politician will be their next target. But somehow, I started to get pitied on him. " and she nodded her head

" pitied, really? " Hender muttered

" Not all men in this world can't able to handled themselves, when it comes to defending themselves from harm and dangers. " Pobo stated

" I think he was started to get liking on you, really. " Mica said to her

" But the moment when I held him in my arms, I was getting a strange feeling that I should getting closer to him. I still had remember of what he had said to me last night that I have a better future someday. " Jennah said to them

" he was kind of a predictioner, huh? I'm not impressed. " Hender said

" Wait... how old he was exactly? " Valerie asked

" Umm... he was at twenty years old. " Jennah responded

" he was twenty years old?! I think he was younger than me. I'm 25 years old. Quite make sense. " Hender said in a surprise manner

" Somehow, I feel that I'm started to get craving at him because... due to that i like younger men. They are so feel attractive and gorgeous. " Jennah stated

" You are really a lover lady after all. " Mica said, with romantic embarrassment

" Ugh, give me a break, Mica. It was my first meeting with him, you know that. I already have my own special someone, got that?! " Jennah protested, turned her head away from them

The four looking at her, with a stunning expression on their faces.

That very moment, they heard a marching band approaching from the outside of the saloon bar, going on the way to the stadium.

" a marching band? Is the festival has already started? " Mica wondered in curiosity

" Of course. The upcoming Western Festival will be started today. Some of the activities will gonna be started at the stadium after the opening program. The admiral mayor will gave a warm welcome speech today on stage. " Pobo responded

" Oh, I see. Do you think will the son of the admiral mayor will gonna showed up this morning on stage? " Valerie asked

" Precisely it is. " Pobo said in response

But suddenly one of the servants of the admiral mayor came in, went approached to Jennah and the group, facing to Jennah, said " Miss Hexar. The admiral mayor ordered me that you and your friends should attend at the program in a few minutes. "

" Okay, I will. " Jennah replied, nodded her head slowly

Later at the stadium, all the people were gathered for the opening program. All the officials and politicians were already sat on stage. Jennah, was sat on the front while her friends were sat at the second row. A moment of seconds, everyone were stand up for the singing the national anthem, played by the marching band.

After that, everyone were sit back on their respective seats.

" And now, we would like to hear the warm welcome speech from our very own beloved admiral mayor, Robert Feriner. " the emcee said

The admiral mayor, Mr Robert, came out of the curtains, holding a microphone, began his welcome speech for the opening ceremony for the upcoming Western Festival. While he was speaking on the stage, Tino, was sat at the left side, looking at Jennah from afar, ignored the audience, were focused on hearing his father's speech. When she saw that he was looking at her, she looks at him, in a same manner. Tino feels that his heart was getting pounding loudly than ever seems. No one noticed them, except for Tino's close friend, Hitver, who was standing beside him, was started to getting curious of his best friend's secret feelings for Jennah.

" Why are you looking at that bounty hunter lady just like that? "

" Is because... I sensed in my mind that she is the woman that I have been looking for. Somehow, I feel in my heart that I need her so much. After all, she saves my life last night. " placing his locket necklace on his chest, through his hand

And Hitver went silent, thought on his mind " I had never seen his new reaction from before. Don't it think that... he was already fall in love to her at first sight?! "

While everyone were still focused on hearing the admiral mayor's welcome speech, at the rooftop of the stadium, a mysterious stranger was laid down, holding a long rifle gun on both of his hands, and it was pointed to the admiral mayor and Tino as well. No one noticed the strange presence except for Pobo, who was sat beside Valerie at the second row, realized there was a terrible threat approached by, although Jennah didn't feel the strange presence from afar.

The first meeting of Jennah and Tino were crossed with each other although Tino was started to developed crush on her at the first sight. Their hearts were crossed again as they looked at each other in during the opening program for the upcoming Western Festival. But unbeknownst to Jennah and to everyone else, were watching the program, a mysterious stranger holding a long rifle gun was standing at the rooftop. No one noticed it except for Pobo, sensed the upcoming threat.
