Chapter 15 The barbecue
After the fashion show, they went to Steve´s Barbecue. Steve had prepared the pool for the children.
The McKays, Walshes and Silvers appeared simultaneously. Silvers even brought Erin with them.
Erin Silver was now twenty-three years old and, like her father, had decided to study dentistry. She looked a lot like Mel. Her blond hair had gotten darker and darker over time. And she had the same eyes as Mel.
Especially Erica seemed happy that Silver was at the party. They shared one thing in common…they were both half-siblings to one of the group. Although Erica was already thirty-four, the two got along well.
And Kelly was particularly pleased that Donna was there too. Maybe she got the opportunity to get a better impression of their family life.
Just before Steve served the burgers, he made his famous speech.
„To us guys. Here´s to a successful day and that even in our late years, we´re still the best in Beverly Hills. Cheers."
„Cheers." Everyone shouted.
But during the meal, Donna kept talking about her company and how busy she is. David kept trying tos top her, but she wouldn´t stop. She did only at the third Donna.
To break the brief silence, Erica immediately asked Silver about her life.
Silver said, besides Janet, she was probably the only one in attendance who wasn´t studying at CU. And after her studies she wanted to come back to Beverly Hills to take over Mel´s practice.
Everyone was excited.
David in particular was bursting with pride. „She is just a Silver."
Kelly nodded to him. She was also proud of her little sister.
After dinner the kids jumped in the pool and played water polo.
„Come on Toni. Us against Walsh and your brother." Stevie called.
„Sanders." Sammy hissed.
But Stevie took Toni to his side and served the ball. He really wanted to impress Toni and show how sporty he was.
And it worked. She and Stevie won.
Suddenly Stevie jumped out of the pool.
„What are you up to?" Steve admonished his son.
„I just wanted to turn on some music." Stevie shrugged and loud music started playing.
„Let the party begin." He yelled and jumped back into the pool.
„Like father, like son." Brenda could only laugh.
„I´ll come to you." Erica also came into the pool.
„Oh yeah." Silver followed suit.
What no one noticed David watched Erica in the pool the whole time, chatting and laughing with Silver. His gaze wandered over her breasts, her whole body. She had become damn sexy. Smiling, he took a sip of beer.
The barbecue was delicious. Steve hadn´t promised too much. After the steaks, Steve began preparing his margaritas.
Mainly the women seemed to get addicted to it. It was like old high school. Dylan, Brandon, David and Steve watched in amusement as their wives drank cocktail after cocktail. Erica and Silver took a little more time.
Erica was also amused by her sister-in-law and the other women and went into the kitchen laughing. She just wanted to poured a glass of white wine and suddenly David was standing behind her.
„David, you scared me." She laughed and clutched her heart.
„Sorry, I didn´t mean to." David smiled back and continued to stare at her.
Erica was starting to feel a little uncomfortable. David had almost never taken his eyes off her since her arrival. But she had thought nothing o fit. After all, they hadn´t seen each other for a long time.
Erica took the bottle and poured her glass again. She tried to keep her cool.
„Do you actually know how pretty and sexy you´ve gotten?" David looked her up and down.
„Oh David. You are always so nice and smart." She tried to distract from her nervousness.
„Seriously, Erica. You are so beautiful." David stepped a little closer and put his hand on hers.
He was right in front of her now. She could smell him.
„David, you´re married." Erica´s heart was beating wildly.
Was David trying to seduce her?"
„Donna doesn´t need to know that." David looked into her eyes and at her mouth.
He slowly leaned down to her.
„Stop it, David!" Erica hissed and backed away.
David was afraid that someone from the others could hear someting and raised his hands.
„Your wife is out and your child. How dare you turn me on?"
David didn´t answer her.
Erica grabbed her glass and quickly left the kitchen to escape David. In any case, she wouldn´t drink too much today.
But the other women did it all the more. And because the party was so great and everyone was having so much fun, Janet decided the kids could spend the night at Sanders´. That made Stevie very happy.
It was midnight, the kids were already in their rooms, and all the women except Erica were dead drunk, dancing with each other on the lawn and singing along to the music.
Their men couldn´t stop laughing.
Suddenly Brenda staggered towards Dylan with her margarita glass, wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him so intensly he almost lost his breath.
„You´re completely drunk." Dylan paused for breath.
„I know that. But you take care of me." Brenda slurred.
„And I always will." Dylan whispered and kissed her again.
Her tongue was also very much alive.
„Brennn ann Dyn are dunn it right." Kelly fell into Brandon´s arms. She couldn´t talk anymore either and kissed Brandon instead.
„What they can do, we can do for a long time." Janet pointed and gave Steve a fiery kiss.
David looked at Donna. She had already closed her eyes and no longer saw the couples.
„I think the party´s over." David said sadly, more to himself.
„Oh come on brother." Silver looked at him glassy-eyed and pulled him onto the lawn with her.
Erica was glad David was with Silver now. She had been far away from David all evening.
Dylan proposed to end the evening. Nobody objected.
Brenda was already getting hot while driving. She started kissing Dylan on the cheek and kept wanting to put her hand on his bulge in pants. Dylan struggled to calm her down.
„Baby, we´ll be right home." Dylan kissed her hand.
„I want you." Brenda whispered in his ear.
„Same to you. We´ll be right there." He stroked her thigh and looked in the rear view mirror at his sister.
Erica was amused by the two. She knew Dylan and Brenda had an active sex life. And she was happy for them both.
Arriving home, Brenda had barely got out of the car when she felt nauseous. Dylan had to support her.
„Erica, you know where everything is."
„No problem. Take care of Brenda." Erica winked at him.
And so Brenda and Dylan clattered up the steps to their bedroom while Erica went into the guest room.
As soon as Dylan put Brenda on the bed, she fell alsleep. Dylan chuckled. In the car she still wanted sex with him and now she was undressed her and covered her up. Then he undressed himselfand laid down next go her.
„Are we in our bed?" She mumbled sleepily.
„Yes, Baby." Dylan hugged her tightly.
„We had plans."
„Bren, you were asleep." Dylan kissed her temple.
„Now I´m awake again." Brenda bent over him and kissed him passionately.
Erica lay awake in her bed in the guest room. She couldn´t sleep. She openend her bedroom door. She heard loud groans from the other bedroom. Aha, apparently Brenda was feeling better. Erica smiled and went down to the kitchen. She couldn´t get David´s behavior out of her head. First she fell in love with Brandon, now David apparently wanted something from her. It was enough for her. She had to talk to Dylan about it right away in the morning.
When she came back upstairs it was quiet. Her brother and sister-in-law were done. Erica lay back in her bed and fell into a restless sleep.
The same time in the Sanders´ house.
Toni couldn´t sleep either. She had to go to the toilet. She quietly openend the door and looked for the light switch and suddenly she spotted Stevie on the other side of the bathroom. She quickly looked down as Stevie was standing in front of her in just his underpants. Stevie looked her up and down. Toni looked so cute in Maddy´s sleep shirt.
„You go first." Stevie offered.
„No, I can wait. It´s your bath." Toni smiled at him.
„But you are our guest. Come on."
„Thanks. I hurry up."
Stevie looked the last time at her and locked his side.
And Toni hurried. After she knocked on Stevies door.
„Good night Stevie."
„Good night Toni." Stevie closed his eyes and opened his door. He couldn´t forget Toni in her nightdress.
Dylan was the first to wake up. Whistling, he prepared breakfast. Erica came to him sleepily. Dylan handed her a coffee mug.
„You had a wild night." Erica laughed.
„Did you hear us?" Dylan blushed.
„Oh yes."
„I´m sorry." Dylan was very embarrassed.
„It´s okay. I know you." Erica took a sip of coffee. „I couldn´t sleep anyway."
„Why?" Dylan was concerned.
„David turned me on quite a bit at the party yesterday and even wanted to kiss me."
Dylan almost choked on the coffee. „I´m sorry, what?"
„I was in the kitchen and he started telling me how pretty and sexy I am."
„Man, he´s married."
„I told him that too." Erica shrugged.
„Silver shouldn´t get any stupid ideas." Dylan has already prepared ASS and a glass of orange juice for Brenda.
And sure enough, a few minutes later, Brenda appeared in the kitchen, slumped. She was so hung over.
Dylan handed her the pill and the glass and Brenda took it thankfully and sat down next to Erica.
„Erica heard us last night." Dylan grinned.
„Oh no." Brenda sank even further.
„And I´m jealous." Erica laughed.
Brenda quickly drank her juice and took the ASS.
„Erica experienced something interesting yesterday." Dylan drank his coffee.
„That would be?" Brenda was curious.
„David turned me on quite a bit yesterday. He wanted to kiss me."
„Then the marital problems seem to be harder than I thought." Brenda took another sip of juice.
„I mean, I´m not imagining things like that." Erica was at a loss.
„We have to tell Kelly. That she talks to David."
„I just hope she believes me."
„Why not? She has no reason not to believe you." Brenda took Erica´s hand.
Dylan´s phone vibrated. It was Steve.
„I guess I can pick the kids up." Dylan finished his coffee.
„Then you can take me home right away." Erica looked at him pleadingly.
And while Dylan and Erica were gone, Brenda called Kelly.
„Hi Bren." Kelly was still quite sleepy.
„I hear you´re no better off than me."
„Stop. I have got a headache. I didn´t even make it to the bedroom."
Brenda laughed. Then she got serious again.
„Kel, Erica told us that she got pretty flirted with David yesterday. David even wanted to kiss her."
Kelly took a deep breath.
„They seemed so normal yesterday. Well, Donna must have overdone it a bit with her career."
„Hasn´t Donna always exaggerated?" Brenda laughed.
„I´m going to talk to David today. Thank you." Kelly hung up again.
She heard the front door and a little later Brandon and her sons.
„Oh, Mom´s alive again." Brandon marveled.
„Mom, how are you?" Nath asked.
„Slightly better." Kelly smiled at her son. „How was it with Stevie?"
„It was amusing." Sammy grinned.
„How come?"
„Stevie is in love with Toni."
„Where do you want to get that from?"
Sammy looked at his father. „I noticed that he and Toni met by chance in the bathroom. When Stevie came back under his covers he was…well…" Sammy grabbed his pants.
Kelly looked at her husband in horror and Brandon just laughed.
„Did you hear him?"
„No. But at least the covers kept going up and down."
„That´s clear."
„Poor Stevie. Toni is not interested in him at all."
„Does Stevie know?" Brandon asked.
„I guess no. Like he tried to impress her yesterday." Sammy turned and disappeared into his room.
„And how is my wildcat?" Brandon kissed her tenderly. „Yesterday you couldn´t wait until we were in the house."
„I found it exciting on the floor."
„Me too." Kelly kissed him again. „Brenda just called. David tried to kiss Erica yesterday."
„Excuse me?" Brandon looked at her confused.
„I also can not believe it. I´ll give him a call."
After two rings, David answered the phone.
„Well sister. Did you sleep in?" David giggled.
„Yes." Kelly didn´t want to change the subject and got straight to the point. „Is it true that you wanted to kiss Erica yesterday?"
„And that´s why you´re calling me specifically?" David sounded annoyed.
„Is that true?" Kelly seemed angry.
„Exactly. And I wanted to have sex with her right away."
„That´s not the answer to my question." Kelly took a deep breath.
„Listen. We were all in a good mood yesterday and had fun. Maybe I wanted to kiss her on the cheek because we haven´t seen each other for a long time. But that Erica makes such a drama out of it?"
„She´s just worried. You´re married."
„Yes, I know that. It´s all right. She shouldn´t worry. I was just in a good mood."
„David…" Kelly didn´t know what to make of that.
„Kel, everything is fine. She shouldn´t worry."
„Ok." Kelly shrugged.
„Let her know?"
„Yes, I´ll do it."
Then she heard David hang up. Kelly didn´t know what to make of this conversation. Had Erica just imagined that? Was it really only harmlessly planned? Erica was a young and beautiful woman. She had confessed to having fallen in love with Brandon months ago. Perhaps she craved love and affection so badly. But David? Kelly couldn´t imagine that at all with Erica. Brandon and David were so differrent. Brandon came into the bedroom.
„And?"
„David said it would be harmless. It should just be harmless. It should just be a kiss on the cheek."
Brandon raised his eyebrow.
„Do you believe him?"
„Unfortunately. No. I think Erica. She wouldn´t imagine such a thing.
„And what do you want to do?"
„I dunno." Kelly shrugged helplessly.
She thought of Donna. Would David tell her the truth? Would he cheating on Donna?
And…how is the idea of Erin Silver? It will be more see again with other characters. In the opposite to the writers I´ll no forget anybody. When yes, please write me…Review please…
