Chapter 18 Palm Springs Weekend Part 1

Sammy was in the back seat watching his parents. He looked to the front seat where his father was driving and his mother was in the passenger seat. He watched as his father placed his hands on his mother´s thigh. Kelly, meanwhile, laid her hand gently on his. He looked at her and grinned before kissing the inside of her wrist. Kelly leaned down and kissed his cheek gently, then behind his ear. She whispered something in his father´s ear. Brandon grinned. As his smile spread, he reached out and squezzed her thigh again. They were the real deal.

Sammy looked sideways. Nath was playing with his Nintendo. He looked at him and smiled. Things were good. They were so looking forward to the news that they went to Palm Springs again. This weekend was planned as a kind of family outing. Their uncle, aunt and cousin and cousin and Valerie followed them. Donna and David came too. Even Silver and Erica had joined them. They spent the whole weekend with them. They shared a house down the street. They loved their family home in Palm Springs. When his family wasn´t renting it out, they came here at least once or twice a year. The house was huge. It had a great pool and a european feel in the middle of the desert. The house was spanish style. Just Palm Springs.

Sammy knew his uncle had suggest buying this house years ago. Luckily his father had agreed.

„Every time we drive here, old memories come up." Kelly looked out the window, lost in thought.

„What memories Mom?" Sammy was curios.

„To our first trip here. We lived in uncle David´s grandparents´ house at the time."

Brandon sighed. He had had to work at the Peach Pit back then and couldn´t be there that spring weekend.

„How was Henry and Adele´s house?"

„Oh, it was great. A little later Brenda and Dylan followed. And we all hung out by the pool. It was a nice time."

„Were aunt Donna and uncle David friends then?" Sammy asked.

„No. But they already knew each other."

Brandon sighed again. „I wish I had been there." He murmured, uncomfortable with the conversation.

„Me too." Kelly sighed and exhaled, thinking about everything that had happened in her life.

„The main thing is that you got married." Sammy mumbled as he looked out the side window.

The drive from L.A. to Palm Springs isn´t a long one. They drive to their Palm Springs mansion and start unloading the car. Dylan parked behind them.

„This place is bloody amazing." Valerie commented. „Viva Palm Springs."

Brenda smiled.

Valerie put her arm around Brenda. „What sexual favors did you have to perform to get this house, Brenda?"

Dylan giggled, holding a box of food. „Oh, she´ll never say." He overheard her.

Brenda shook her head and slapped his butt hard.

„Ooooh…yeah," he comments as he walks toward the house.

„I like it." Valerie beamed.

Brenda rolls her eyes. „I´m glad you´re here."

She bumps her hip with Valerie and then hand her some grocery bags.

„Me too." Her attention is drawn to a Jeep Cherokee that drives by, honking ist horn.

Valerie smiled and waved as she saw David and Donna pass by on their way to their own home. She cleared her throat.

„So…will Donna and David be here often?"

„Yes, they´ll unpack and settle in and come over. Tomorrow we will go there. David´s house is pretty awesome." Brenda looks at her friend. „Is that okay for you? That they are here together?" She asked honestly.

Valerie waved her hand. „Oh come on Bren…I´m a big girl. Wate runder the bridge." She walked past Brenda, who was carrying the bags to the front door.

„Yes…wate runder the bridge." She said to herself.

Then she hear a loud honk and her gaze landed on a porsche convertible with a curly-haired redhead at the wheel.

Erica parked right behind Brenda and got out immediately. Brenda was amazed. Erica wore nothing but a bikini top and cropped pants.

„Hi sister-in-law. Can I help you something?"

„No. Your brother was very busy. And you can only look hot." Brenda laughed at her.

„That´s what I do best." Erica adjusted her top and followed Brenda and Valerie inside.

It didn´t take them long to find their way around. Pretty soon everyone will be in their bikinis enjoying the 80 degree spring weather in Palm Springs.

The Silver family also appeared a little later.

„Silver, where´s your boyfriend?" Kelly was disappointed.

„It didn´t work." Silver just shrugged.

„Who needs boys." Erica laughed and gestured for Silver to come over.

The girls sunned themselves on the loungers while the boys sat at the grill, grilling steaks and drinking beer.

„Jesus…I swear to god Val, you never seem to age."

David admired them from afar and spoke to himself.

Valerie wore a black bikini, her breasts filling the top. She is tanned and slim. Her hair was much longer than it was when she lived in Beverly Hills.

Brandon and Dylan didn´t care much for Valerie. After a quick glance at Valerie, they focused on their own wives. Despite their pregnancies, both, Kelly and Brenda, could be seen in their bikinis.

„My god…she´s such a hottie." Sammy said loudly, causing his father to look at him.

Brandon smiled. „Easy Tiger…Valerie is practically related and way too old for you."

Dylan chuckled too. „But she´s not really related."

„So. Valerie has a lot to deal with. Perfect package, but this girl has a surprise filling." Dylan said while flipping one of the steaks.

„Wait uncle Dylan…you and Valerie?" Sammy was silent as he looked at his uncle. „Does aunt Brenda know?"

„Oh, she knows." Dylan breathed through his nose. „We didn´t date or anything, we just hung out…a lot." He took a sip of his soda.

David and Brandon cleared their throats.

„Right…hanging out a lot." David rolled his eyes.

„Wait…uncle David…you and Valerie, you know…how?"

David laughed out loud. Dylan shook his head. „I don´t talk about it. You raunt would kill me. We act like it never happened."

„Uncle Dylan…keep it up. I swear I have dreams about her." Sammy gets hit on the head by his father.

„Everyone has dreamed of her." David intervened.

„You should talk…you´re the only one who actually had a relationship with her. I dont know how you did that, she´s a handful." Dylan shook his head.

David sipped his beer while looking at Valerie.

Her eyes lifted up at that moment and met his. He smiled at her and held up his beer to her. She winked at him and talks to the girls again.

„Valerie is something, we´re just good friends now..plus sorry…I´m married."

Dylan hummed as he looked at Brenda. She and Erica sprayed sunscreen on each other´s body and rubbed it in. She is wearing a blue bikini and looks phenomenal.

„Brando…look at those steaks for a second."

Dylan gave Brandon the spatula and went over to Brenda for a long kiss before jumping in the water to cool off.

„What about you Dad, you and Valerie have you ever…met?" Sammy looked at his father.

Brandon shook his head. „She lived with me during and after college. Valerie i spart of the family. I´ve always found her attractive, but it always turned out to be a bit odd."

„Does Mom know?" Sammy looked at his father.

Their eye met.

Brandon took a deep breath. „Yes…she knew." He sighed as he wathed hiss on pull away from them.

David put his hand on Brandon´s shoulder. He looked at him.

„He will be fine." Said David honestly.

„Hopefully." Brandon turned his attention back to the steaks.

Donna, Kelly, Brenda and Valerie all lay in a row by the pool and didn´t hear what the men were saying about them.

Dylan reappeared and looked at Brenda. He seemed to move quickly and sit between Brenda´s legs, wet from the pool.

„Dylan..you´re wet." Brenda pulled away from him as he kissed her cheek and neck.

„Let me get you wet." He whispered in her ear while gently kissing her neck.

Valerie laughed out loud. She heard him. „Man I love you guys."

„Come, come swim with me." Dylan stood and held out his hand. „You look hot." He wagged his eyebrows at the ambiguity.

Brenda laughed, shook her head and took his hand. She wrapped her arms tightly around his neck and kissed him.

„Are you ready Bren?" Dylan´s arms lifted her off the floor a little.

Brenda giggled as he fell back into the pool with her. Still underwater, her legs wrap around his midsection, her arms around his neck, and Dylan pressed his lips to hers. They were still kissing when they emerged.

Valerie just smiled when she saw the two. It was hard for her to picture Dylan with anyone else. She looked at Kelly and Donna. They ignored her. Valerie thought Donna didn´t want her to be here. Brenda and Dylan snapped her out of her thoughts. They dried themselves off, giggling, and Brenda burst back onto her lounger. Brandon came to Kelly´s couch.

„I´d like to wet you too." Brandon kissed her neck.

„After dinner, gladly." Kelly cupped Brandon´s face in her hands and kissed him hungrily.

Silver watched them in amusement and drank their beer. How much would she like now…? But the time wasn´t right yet. Instead, she looked at Donna, who got up from the couch. David made no move to approach her.

„Would you like to dip?" Donna asked Valerie nicely.

„In one minute."

Donna smiled and nodded and headed towards the pool.

Valerie looked at David. He´s having a beer and chatting with Brandon and Dylan. But she saw him glancing at her now and then.

She gets up and walks over to them. She is standing next to David. He puts his arm around her waist and kiss her head. „How are you, Val?"

„I´m doing well." She smiled at him.

„What about you Brandon? Do you still have one of those Coronas?"

Brandon smiled. „I do." He opens the fridge outside and gives her one.

„Thanks Brandon." She took the bottle and went back to her lounger. She knew David was wathing her.

Shem ade a sexy pose and drank her beer. She looked at him as she did so. Brandon, Dylan and David bumped and took a big gulp. David´s eyes stared over their bottles to her heading towards the pool to Donna.

The steaks were great and the table was packed. Toni, Sammy, Kyle, Nath, Sheila and Ruby wanted to eat by the pool. So Brandon had set them up at a table there.

After dinner everyone was in the pool and Silver and Erica were playing water polo with the kids.

„Baby, can you put lotion on me?" Brenda held out the sun milk to Dylan.

„I´d love to." Dylan sat down behind her and started putting lotion on her. He opened her bikini top. It fell on the lounge.

„Dylan!" she hissed.

„Psht, nobody´s looking. Relax." Dylan whispered in hear ear and immediately he covered her breasts with his warm hands and caressed her nipples with his thumb, which immediately hardened.

Brenda turned her head to Dylan and kissed him. Dylan´s tongue wasn´t long in coming. Brenda moaned with pleasure into Dylan´s mouth and also enjoyed his caresses. They sat like that for a few seconds.

„We´ve got to slow it down or you´re going to be in big trouble." Brenda murmured into the kiss.

„Or we´ll go upstairs, I´ll undressed me too and give you a few minutes in heaven." Dylan raised an eyebrow.

„But the kids?" Brenda pointed to the pool.

„They´re busy." Dylan mumbled against her lips.

Brenda´s eyes lit up. She wanted him too.

She quickly took a towel and wrapped it around herself.

Dylan took her hand and together they went into the house.

Everyone was having a water fight in the pool. Then Kelly and Donna wanted to play water polo against each other. So David and Brandon took their wives on their shoulders. Valerie watched them with amusement. Her eyes went to the loungers. The loungers were empty.

„Where have Brenda and Dylan gone? They were just there."

„No idea. Brenda wanted to sunbath." Brandon just shrugged.

„Or they´ll have sex again." Valerie raised her eyebrow.

She and Brandon looked at each other. „The two never changed."

„Sometimes I envy Brenda." Valerie grinned at Brandon.

Meanwhile, things go hot in the bedroom.

As soon as they had locked their bedroom, Dylan had put on his swimming trunks. Now they lay in their big kingsize-bed and made love. Brenda had her thighs clamped so tightly to Dylan´s waist. She enjoyed every thrust from him.

„Did I promise you too much?" Dylan whispered into her mouth.

„No. I really feel like I´m in heaven."

They kissed again.

She caught her breath and looked at Dylan.

„I love you Dylan."

„I love you Bren."

She looked into Dylan´s almond-brown eyes. And again they kissed.

Relaxed and with a satisfied smile, Brenda flopped back onto the loung. She watched the gang. Nobody seemed to have noticed her absence.

Dylan got himself a coke. He needed a cool dawn now. He knew he had a big grin on his face. But he couldn´t wipe it away. He went to the pool and sank into the water next to Valerie.

„So, was it good?" Valerie winked at him.

„Well, Bren looks very happy." Dylan took a sip of coke and they both looked at Brenda.

Yes, she looked very relaxed.

Then the children came swimming. „Dad, will you and aunt Erica play with us?"

„Come on you water babies." Dylann chased his children in the water.

Erica grabbed her brother and dunked him.

The Dinner was incredible. They were all sitting around sipping wine and chatting on the outdoor patio. It seemed like far too much time had passed since they had undertaken this type of travel. The McKays and Walsh´s used to do that all time. When the kids were little.

Kelly sipped her wine. She watched David, Donna and Valerie the whole time. She noticed how David and Valerie, apparently unnoticed by the others, kept exchanging caresses. Val touched her hand, David stroked her back.

She glanced at Brenda and Brenda nodded to her. She noticed it too.

Kelly looked at Donna, who kept patting her head.

„Are you not well?"

„I think I´m getting my migraines again." She closed her eyes. „I think I´d better go home."

„Shall I come with you?"

„No, not necessary. You stick with Ruby. I´m going to sleep." Donna stood up.

„Would you like me to take you home?" Kelly asked.

„Do not you need. You´re sitting here so comfortably. See you tomorrow at Henry and Adele´s house." Donna gave her a painful smile.

„I´m coming with you Donna." Silver offered. „I think I had too much beer."

„Ok, let´s go." Donna took Silver´s arm. Then they were gone.

Kelly looked at her brother. She worried about David and Donna. She was caught in the middle of her feelings. On the one hand, she wasn´t sure if she should tell Donna about her observations. How can she help this couple work things out?

Then she looked at the end of the table. Sammy joked around with Nath and Kyle. Toni giggled with Sheila and Ruby. She loved Ruby as much as her children. I fit was going to happen, she couldn´t object. Not because of her family´s happiness, although her dislike for David grew.

„Everything OK?" asked Brandon.

„Yes, everything alright."

Dylan rubbed his hands and stood up. „We´re going to relax in the hot tub for a bit…who´s with us?" He took Brenda´s hand.

„I´d like to come with you." Valerie took her glass of wine and went with them.

„Then I´ll quickly clean the grill." Brandon also got up.

Kelly looked at David who was leaving Valerie behind. She couldn´t help it.

„David, is something going on between you and Valerie?"

„What makes you think that?" David looked at his sister.

„Come on. Do you think I don´t see your eyes? You took every opportunity to touch her tonight."

„We are friends. I hug Brenda too. And you Dylan."

„David, I know you´ve had problems. I just want to make sure you´re doing the right thing. You have a daughter, remember."

„I always think of Ruby. She´s my everything."

„OK." Kelly nodded and took a sip of wine.

She would still keep an eye on Valerie and David though.

„Daddy, can we go home? I´m tired." Ruby snuggled up to her father.

„Yes, we´re going home." David stood up and took his daughter´s hand.

„Good night aunt Kelly." Ruby looked at her tiredly.

„Good night Ruby." Kelly gave her a smile.

Kelly walked over to Brandon and wrapped her arms around his waist.

„Are you tired?"

„No. I just want to be with you." Kelly snuggled into his back. „What are the kids doing?"

„The boys sit in front of the playstation and the girls watch Titanic."

Brandon turned around, took her in his arms and kissed her extensively.

It was well past midnight.

Valerie was still sitting on the patio drinking wine. She enjoyed the quiet.

„I was hoping that you would come." Valerie got up, turned around and saw David.

„I couldn´t come earlier. I´m sorry."

„Is ok. The important thing is you are here."

The two looked at each other. Then they walked towards each other and pressed their lips together.

Valerie ran her fingers over David´s head. She had missed him so much. She had been waiting for this moment all day.

Apparently David felt the same way. He wanted to touch and caress her everywhere now.

„I think Kelly suspects something. She was looking at me so weird the whole time."

„Yes, me too."

„When do you want to tell Donna?"

„At the next opportunity."

„And you are quite sure David? You know I don´t mind being the second woman. As long as I can have you every once in a while, I´m content."

„But I´m not happy with that. I want you Valerie, only you. I love you Valerie Malone. And I´m going to divorce Donna." David looked at her. His gaze was sincere.

„I love you too David."

They kissed again.

„I miss your body." Breathed David.

„Me too."

„Where can we go?"

„In my room. It´s not as luxurious as the four seasons but it has a comfortable bed."

„I´m afraid I only have an hour." David murmured against Val´s lips.

„It doesn´t matter. Then I had a nice hour with you."

They crept quietly into Valerie´s room.
