Geryuganshoop opened his his slowly, yawning with a sense of content that could only be rivaled by the time he first slept this bed. Did he sleep is fresh silk? He rolled over and took his vitamins, later glancing over at his tea. He took it begrudgingly and took a sip as he got out of bed. It was...passable. He took his tablet and scrolled through today's tasks, taking a few mental notes in mind. It was the regular amount of tasks, something he wasn't too unfamiliar with. He'd certainly have to go to his little headquarters for the day.
He got up and started to take his usual stroll towards his workspace, taking his tablet to search some things for his own convenience. There were plenty of things he wanted to look up, primarily some shows that looked intellectually engaging and some games. Maybe Boros could be interested in action films, although it's probably not heart pounding to see a city blow up when you can effortlessly recreate it.
As he walked through the halls and corridors, the aliens that passed him seemed more off putting than they usually were. They would usually greet him with sweat coming down but now there was a small yet audible reaction with a salute. He would shrug and walk past them, for all he knew maybe they were scared by his now improving posture.
Elsewhere on The Ship
Geryuganshoop entered his station, surprised to only see Morphis doing his work. The oily monster spun around to see him, providing a small shriek and a small wave.
"Hello G-geryuganshoop!" He mustered, "You're l-looking magnificent today."
"Ok what is going on?! Everyone on this ship has been looking at me weird and now you? What is the meaning of this?" Geryuganshoop asked firmly.
A comical gulp sound came from Morphis, earning a sigh from Geryuganshoop.
"That chaos in the throne room, word has gotten out that it was you and Boros fighting," Morphis muttered slowly.
Geryuganshoop scoffed and covered his eyes. The room around him was covered in a telekinetic aura for a fraction for a second before sighing. To be fair the answer was knocking on his head and this kind of information wouldn't really stay in the dark, but please.
"Yes, I did," he admitted, "Now please, just work on your little chores and stop making this weird. Even the great Geryuganshoop can be weirded out by your little fan geeking...or cowering."
Morphis nodded before they both got to their work. They continued with their scheduled tasks, but there was something missing that Geryuganshoop took notice of.
"Hey Morphis, where is Asriel?" he asked.
Morphis shrugged, before getting back to his work. Geryuganshoop sighed, and looked through the ship's built in surveillance feature. The cameras showed the aliens doing their job, most of it not eyebrow raising and none of them involving Asriel. He kept moving through the different cameras before spotting her in the ship's training room before pausing, the training room? It was an odd choice but at least he had her in one location. He paused, before looking at her work on her devices. To his surprise, she had finished her work some time ago.
Geryuganshoop rubbed his eyes, surprised to see that actually happened. Something must be off with her, or she could be scheduling something too. Agh, he could care less, at least the work is in. He shrugged, turned around, and started another day's work.
Hours Later
Boros sat in her throne room, typing away to see different cultural practices. There were sports, shows, dances, and such bizarre meals. Each activity to examine was as interesting as the last, peaking her interest more and more. The people doing those practices looked so happy and so intimate with each other, with no fighting or endangering thrill to create such joy. It was all so, interesting. She needed to plan something after her next sparring match, an activity that Geryuganshoop would surely like. They already had a movie to watch, but variety was key.
As Boros scrolled, a message popped up on the screen, one from Geryuganshoop.
My lord, I am excited to announce that I'm ready for our next training session. Are we meeting at the same area?
Boros' eyes lit up, hastily typing a response.
Yes Geryuganshoop. Arrive there as soon as possible. I'll inevitably catch up.
Boros set her device firmly in her grip and stood up, loosening her muscles with a few hops before running at untraceable speeds. She zipped from room to room, careful not to break anyone in her path with speeds practically invisible to everyone else. She then got out of the ship, creating a trail dust with her path. As she moved forward, a dark blue individual fell into sight. She smirked, speeding up to catch up to him.
"How are you so fast?!" Geryuganshoop yelled, trying to keep his current pace.
"I am the dominator for a reason, the same reason why you're about to be me!" she bragged, before falling like an actual moron.
Boros got up, looking at herself before realizing that her armor was highlighted in a certain aura. That cheeky octopus. She leaped in the general area of her arena, landing near Geryuganshoop, who was laughing.
"Oh. You seem a little eager to get into chaos," Boros stated, crossing her arms with a small smirk.
"Oh I might as well be, my body is simply aching for some action now," He joked, earning a growingly confident grin from her.
"Alright then, let's do some stretches, then we'll see who'll have the last laugh," she said.
Geryuganshoop nodded, starting to do some basic stretches before getting into a ready stance. Boros did the same, facing him with her one eye staring into his. This might be tough, especially with her armor and his strength. Regardless, it would be an actual fight, one that for once she could lose in despite now going all out in her armor.
Around A Mile Away
Asriel peeked out from one of the trees, observing Geryuganshoop and Boros. Seems like Ms. Dominator and Geryuganshoop were about to fight. Nice, it'll be a benchmark to determine the gap in power. She could beat Groribas, so what was the gap between him and Boros? Maybe she can see Geryuganshoop twirl again, and hopefully for her she would not get smoked by an explosion.
She blinked for a second, getting ready to see the show before being met by a loud sound that seemingly vibrated the tree she was on. She looked over to see Boros fighting with Geryuganshoop mercilessly, each clash with a projectile or barrier sending such force. It was far more than what Groribas could've done, with such speed and precision that only the best marksmen in the galaxy could dream of this. They dashed around trying to hit each other, dodging and weaving so much to try to land powerful hits.
Despite that It was also a strategic battle, with Boros using wind based attacks and throwing rocks to try to counter Geryuganshoop. She also preferred short bursts, cutting her way through the air to catch him by surprise. While he tried slowly chipping at her armor, then using that as a weapon. He would also push her back with his telekinesis, occasionally trying to make her trip or sink into the floor.
Asriel was left with her jaw hanging, shocked to see such physical improvement in what felt like so little time. It was incredibly impressive, yet far too unnatural. If Asriel could double her power, Geryuganshoop could quadruple his. His limit might as well not even exist, only converging to his willpower. It was amazing, almost...imaginary. She looked in awe before wondering- how could she use that?
She could become that strong, strong enough to eventually match Boros, but based on today it seems that Geryuganshoop has tricks that are gifted to him. She needed to train, but as much as she hated it she has to look at why he can do what he does. It was something she'd have to look into, because he's now more than a cushion. Geryuganshoop has genetic records, so if she can study him just maybe she can find a way to grow like him, and with her sheer will she can finally do it.
Asriel swung her arm, accidentally hitting the tree and falling to the floor. She groaned at her own stupidity, before scurrying off when a huge chunk of debris came in from the fighting. She already got her information.
Geryuganshoop and Boros started bouncing around in the storm of a battlefield, hitting each other with anything possible. They were being hit and smashed, but the joy was simply priceless. Geryuganshoop was laughing as he flung things, being able to hit her from far away almost being the answer to a mini puzzle of sorts.
The armor on Boros' arm was already torn off, which created an annoying projectile. It took her a while, but she was able to tackle him. She sent him to the ground with a large crash, holding him down so that he wouldn't be able to squirm away from her like he did the past few times.
He retaliated by taking the pieces of her arm's armor to try and stab her. He held onto her and grabbed her before using his telekinesis the broken scraps armor onto her unprotected shoulder, causing them to dig themselves into her skin. She took the pain, releasing a small yell before punching Geryuganshoop with that damaged arm. It especially hurt do to the fact that there was no armor to protect himself there. He spat some blood into Boros' eye, before hitting her with the rest of the broken armor pieces.
She fell off of him, landing on her back, which gave him enough time to create a barrier around her. Oh no not again. Boros was then met with a small clicking sound before being engulfed by an atomic explosion. The familiar sound of death rumbled the arena, with Geryuganshoop holding in the explosion with his barrier. It was slightly better than last time, with him more easily being able to contain it than last time. There, he won.
He laughed, up until a hole was punched through barrier. The fiery blast of the explosion then went towards Geryuganshoop, to which he narrowly avoided. He closed the barrier around her arm to stop the explosion from seeping out. Boros pulled arm out, growling at the barrier being restored. She touched it with both of her arms. This heat was unbearable much hotter than last time, she had to do something quick. She then realized that all of her armor broke off. Now unshackled from her armor, she powered up for the first time in decades, before shattering the barrier with a good punch. Geryuganshoop's eyes widened, putting up a barrier to protect himself as the explosion covered the arena.
He looked ahead, trying to find Boros. The fiery landscape made it too difficult to see much, so it would probably be the same for her. To his shock, a burnt hand was on his barrier, one that he saw healed with his very eyes. He was then met with a fist to the face as Boros punched through his barrier, with a sense of power that had gone unrivaled by anyone else in the universe. He fell limply, trying to stay conscious after that punch.
Before he can be consumed by the blast Boros grabbed him and pulled him outside of the blast radius, setting him down on the dirt floor. Geryuganshoop coughed up some blood, opening his right eye a little to see Boros standing over him without her armor. She sat down next to him, looking at and checking his face until he fully gain consciousness. It was all so fuzzy, it was so...painful. Blood came out of his face, revealing the gash that was on his cheek. Boros tried her best to clean it, wiping it off. What did the trick was a few drops of water that came from the sky. Boros looked up to see the clouds above raining water. She marveled at it, breaking her gaze from Geryuganshoop to see the peaceful weather. Geryuganshoop blinked as he looked up. It had started to rain, and water was making it's way onto the surrounding environment.
