The weeks pass happily as things seem to instinctively change. I spend so much time at Edward's that he has me bring Hamilton over. Then he asks me to leave my clothes there, and now I'm sharing drawer space with him. Before I realized it, we were living in some kind of domestic bliss, with me waiting for him to get home from work with dinner ready.

I moved in without realizing it and finally asked if this should be permanent.

"I already gave you a key," he says, smirking. "But if you need a formal ask, this is me asking you to move in with me."

I squeal, throwing myself at him as he laughs. Then it hits me that I'll have to tell Emmett, and I suddenly feel bad. It's not as if he's home much, but still. This is a big deal. I left him once to go to college, but this time, it's different. I'm moving in with the man I love—the man who will be there for me instead of him.

It's bittersweet.

We're both going to cry.

"So, I guess I should tell Emmett."

Edward nods. "I'll be there if you want."

I shake my head. "No, I need to do it myself. It'll open him up to moving Rosalie and Ben in at some point anyway."

They're nowhere near close to that, but eventually, they should be the ones to have our parents' home. As far as Edward and I go, his cabin has plenty of room. We don't need space for kids, and Hamilton has already mastered climbing the ladder. At some point, all I'll need is a car of my own, but without a full-time job, that might be an issue.

I've been working more for Ms. Sue lately, but I'm unsure if she's equipped to take on a full-time employee. Maybe I'll ask her at some point. All she can say is no.

"I love you, Edward."

He smiles brilliantly and dips his head to capture my lips. "I love you too, Bella."

We settle back onto the couch and watch our movie. I can't believe this is my life. I have a healthy heart, a handsome man, a cute cat, and a loving family. It can't get any better than this.

Around eleven, Edward and I head up to the loft and snuggle into bed together. He holds me close to his body and kisses my neck, and I feel like I'm home as I drift to sleep.

I wake up to an empty bed, but the smell of bacon makes me smile. It's a cheat day, which I don't get very often. I find my robe and toss it on before going down the ladder to find Edward hard at work in the kitchen.

"Good morning, gorgeous girl." He smiles, placing eggs onto two plates. "I hope you're hungry."

I grin, sliding onto the bar stool. "I could eat. What's the occasion?"

He shakes his head. "I don't need a reason to treat you, beautiful. What's your day look like? I have to go to work in about an hour."

"Well, Emmett is off today, and Rose is working, so he should be home. I figured I'd go talk to him and pack up my room. I'll need your help to move the rest of my stuff over."

He nods, plating the bacon before sitting next to me. "He'll understand."

"Yeah, I know he will, but it's still kind of bittersweet. When I moved back in, I thought that was it for my life. But now … I have everything ahead of me."

Hamilton moseys over, and I break a small piece of bacon off for him. He's adjusted to his new home wonderfully. We have his big cat tree in the front window next to his box of toys. He loves basking in the sun and absolutely adores pets from Edward.

"You spoil that cat," Edward says.

I smirk and laugh. "Yeah, no shit. He's my baby boy. My son."

"Does that make me his dad?"

I nod. "Sure does. Cat daddy."

"Cat momma." He chuckles.

Fuck, I love this domestic bliss.
