Chapter 2

September 4th. Early night. Across the central park of city of Vale.

He was running again.

Not as much as he did yesterday, but still enough that after he was done, his long sleeve jacket and shorts were drenched in his sweat, and he needed some minutes to fully recover.

"…"

He rested a little longer still. And then he looked around, and noted he couldn't see her anywhere. Checking his scroll, he also noted she hadn't sent any new messages either.

He felt rather indifferent about it all.

She did leave quite the first impression on him, no doubt about it, but he wasn't sure if it was good or bad. He only knew that she most certainly seemed...different. Penny Polendina, if I remember correctly. He recollected her name, but didn't linger on his thoughts about her for long. Instead, he glanced around and noticed that this particular part of the city was void of any people. Or at least at night it was.

"Shh!"

He threw a punch.

"Shh!"

He threw another punch. And then glanced around, and his blue wasn't met with any other person still. I guess I could...He decided, and then started to shadowbox.
