Backstory:

Sierra Serval was born in Ely, Nevada to two parents. Sierra enjoyed her life in the desert and was very close to her uncle Larry, who worked as a railroad manager. When she was 9, Sierra went to work with her uncle so he could show her how he does his job. While maintaining a box car, an out-of-control train speeds down the tracks and rams Larry into the box car's coupler before he could jump out of the way. Horrified, Sierra rushes to her still-alive uncle. Larry gives his niece a few words of comfort before dying in front of her. Sierra begs her uncle to come back and even tries to push the train that was trapping her uncle, away but to no avail. Sierra is haunted by the memory of her uncle's untimely death. She even considers suicide just to reunite with him. At the age of 19, Sierra sneaks into a train station and sits on the tracks, waiting for a train to kill her. Fortunately, Sierra meets Jenni Graves, who convinces her otherwise.
