Backstory:

Marcus Jags was born to Don Jags and his wife Miranda. Miranda secretly poisons and kills her husband to take over his gang. Disgusted, Marcus runs away from home when he was 12. He schools himself at the public library where he meets Jenni. When he turns 20, Marcus gets a job with Gracie Grombach as an assistant bartender and becomes his close friend. On the night his boss disappears, Marcus gets a call from his friend Joey, from work, saying Gracie had been kidnapped. Marcus searches for his boss and finds him in the Lagering caves. Gracie praises Marcus the whole time he helps him escape the caves and drives him to his apartment to help with his leg injury. Gracie tells Marcus what happened to him and the jaguar insists he stay with him until he can take care of whomever tried to kill his boss. Marcus calls his childhood friend Jenni Graves and asks her to come to Mississippi to help him.
