Freya wiped the sweat from her brow before looking over at the two bums who weren't helping. She wanted to say something but she didn't know these two and something told her to stay away from them. "Ok we have resources to start. So what are you thinking as far as base goes?" Sasori asked.
Normally they would have done what they wanted to do but since she was really good at planning things out. Freya looked at the empty canvas before her. "I'm not sure to be honest. There's lots of possibilities. But I guess we will do what we did back on scorched earth. We will have to worry about what comes out of the water." She said.
Sasori nodded before he noticed Kisame walk to the edge of the shore and stuck his head down into the water. When he came up he scratched the back of his head "there are a lot of giant krabs and spinos down there. So it'd be best to wall up some of the water. I could let the megalodons out and let them out and wander the lake and feed on anything that's in there but that's a lot of water for 5 to cover." He said.
Freya nodded "noted we will do a full circle of walls with gates on either side for entry. And the greenhouse house will go close to the water to make it easier to run lines." She said, Kisame nodded in understanding and went to start on the wall.
With Kisame and Sasori and Deidara working on the wall and gates. It just left Itachi and Freya to work on the base. "So we need to make a 7 bedroom base, we need to make a shower room as well and a blueprint room." She said, Itachi shook his head "we need 6 bedrooms." Freya looked at him quizzically, "I'm not sure I follow." She told him.
Itachi smirked at her before giving her a jab to the forehead. "You and I are going to share a room. I'll have my bed in one corner and you'll have your side." He stated. Freya touched her forehead before nodding. She still didn't understand why.
"Hey Kakuzu, how do the night and day cycles work here?" Deidara asked. "Hmph I want to say is 90% day and 10% night right now. You have about 5 hrs before it gets dark." He replied.
Freya sighed "Ok we got 5 hrs before dark we need to move and get the main base done now. Kakuzu and Hidan, would you give us a hand please?" She asked.
Hidan and Kakuzu just looked at her. But to her luck they complied and decided to help. Mainly so they could sleep on a bed and not on the ground. Three hours with only two left. Freya stepped back and looked at the base then the perimeter around her. Everything was done except for a hatchery,fab shop, and greenhouse.
"Not bad guys." Freya spoke before going inside. And inspecting the inside. The walls were up to separate the rooms, beds were placed and ready to go. Freya heard a growl but she realized it was coming from her. They hadn't eaten anything since they arrived. "I suppose we should get something to eat." She spoke blushing slightly.
Leaving as a group they decided to get food for dinner. After searching for what seemed like forever they decided on killing an ovis and cooking its meat. Freya stared at the fire while her companions ate. "When we leave this place the first thing I'm going to do when we get home is take a nice long bath and then go out to eat at a nice restaurant. Then go back to my house and sleep in my nice comfy and warm bed." She said as she began to stand.
Deidara stretched his arms " I agree. This has been one hell of an adventure but I'm ready to move on and make some explosive art!" Freya laughed but stopped when the ground began to shake. The earthquake was making Freya lose her balance making her fall. Luckily for her Itachi had caught her before they had hit the ground.
She laid beneath him as the ground shook. They stared into each other's eyes, a faint blush across Itachi's face and a full blush on hers. If he could make a guess her whole body was red as well. They didn't realize that the earthquake had stopped until they heard Kisame clear his throat, making them both snap back to reality.
Itachi stood up holding out his hand out to Freya helping her stand. She dusted herself off before excusing herself for the rest of the night. Itachi stood in the direction of the base and now knew what he had to do. He was going to tell her how he felt.
