Okay Okay
"We've got some exciting news," Mimi's mom handed Mimi a passport.
"We're going on vacation?" Mimi raised an eyebrow.
"Close…we're going to Niagara Falls, honey! But we're postponing the flight until you finish your school semester," Mimi's dad smiled.
"And we're on the good side of Niagara Falls this time, so we were issued Canadian passports this time! Mmm, they even smell better," Mimi's mom rubbed her passport in her face.
"Oh joy…," Mimi grimaced.
"KAMIYA!" Miki screeched.
"Hey Miki, what's up?" Tai nervously laughed.
"What is this I hear about you ditching my cousin on Friday night?" Miki crossed her arms.
"Oh…crap," Tai winced. "Okay, so you see-"
"Nope! Don't care what happened! No excuse is good enough for what you did!" Miki scoffed.
"No, listen! You're right, your cousin is truly unbearable! No offense, cause you're cool, but she's…ugh….but that's not why I ditched her, I swear!" Tai rambled.
"I'm impressed, Tai. You're making a case for yourself and yet you aren't. I can't help but to agree with you even though I probably shouldn't give you the time of day. So what's the deal?" Miki poked him in the chest with a nail file.
"Did you know your idiot cousin came here with all of her luggage and left her shit outside? Then she's freaking out wondering why her crap is missing…like come on, I thought people with glasses were supposed to be smart," Tai huffed.
"Me too…," Miki sucked her teeth.
"I swear I went to help her find it, but security didn't have an answer for me, and then I got caught up with Matt. So listen, we were thinking of throwing our own spring formal. Some of our friend group is a little concerned that their dates might not be well received at the high school's dance, and I feel like everyone should feel welcome. Some of us are seniors so we still want to have that one, last experience, you know?" Tai shrugged.
"I like that idea…if you go along with it, can I go and invite Marcus? I don't think he's allowed back on school grounds thanks to his old reputation," Miki asked.
"Of course! That's the point! We should be able to invite anyone- as long as they're not a 38-year-old creep," Tai shrugged.
"It might actually have a better chance at working out better for Megumi too. I like this, but you better not screw up," Miki grinned.
"Thanks! I'll try," Tai nervously laughed.
"Izzy, Izzy, Izzy…," Mimi dashed into the store and ran up to Izzy.
"Oh hey. Sorry, I can't talk right now. I'm a bit busy at the moment. Rain check?" Izzy grabbed a pile of clothes.
"Okay, whatever you say," Mimi shrugged and slumped out of the store.
"What's your deal? You've been brushing your little girlfriend off lately," Yolei remarked.
"First of all, she's not my girlfriend. Second of all, I just don't want to talk about it. My friends are all assholes. I mean, I expect it from everyone else, but it sucks that Mimi's not any different, that's all," Izzy crossed his arms.
"Come on, it can't be that bad," Yolei snapped at her gum.
"I get that she doesn't want to out TK, but why hasn't she corrected everyone at the least? She doesn't have to say anything about him, but set the record straight when it comes to me," Izzy shook his head.
"Are you sure she's even the one who said anything? I'm not trying to take sides, but as gabby as she is, I don't see her as the kind of person to be spreading personal business around to just anyone…except you," Yolei narrowed her eyes.
"I'm done discussing this. I'm perfectly content doing overtime just to keep it together. Now if you don't mind me, I have inventory to put out," Izzy took the pile of clothes and stormed off.
"Hmm, should I help him out? But he's been doing a lot of work that I don't want to do lately…I'll wait," Yolei muttered to herself.
"Hey Spikes, so what's going on?" Matt chewed on a lollipop stick.
"So I told Miki about our idea, and she likes it. However, we have to invite Marcus if we want her support. And if we have her support, I obviously have Megumi as an in, and then imagine all the other people who will want to come to our party instead of the school's spring formal," Tai nodded in excitement.
"Why do we have to invite any of those people?" Rina huffed.
"Because I owe a huge debt to them. Unless you got $1000 to spare, I think you might want to take a seat back. Besides, why are you here?" Tai crossed his arms.
"$1000?! Okay, I don't think I want to know," Rina shook her head.
"Guys, be nice to each other…," Matt paused. "Tai, Rina and I are starting a new band, which will hopefully perform at our spring formal. And Rina, Tai and I are trying to plan this spring formal, so we all are gonna have to work together to make this work, okay?" Matt paused.
"Miki says I'm not supposed to screw up anything!" Tai exclaimed.
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?!" Rina yelled.
"Listen, it's not like you have a track record of doing a lot of things correctly! My life depends on this," Tai grunted.
"Excuse me?!" Rina growled.
"Cut it out! Play nice, everyone!" Matt clapped his hands. "Tai, don't worry your big, bushy head about us screwing up! I called in a huge favor, so we've got a special music guest as well. I think people will freak the hell out," Matt smirked.
"What? Who is it, Blippi?" Tai snorted.
"Hah, you wish! I got a famous girl group from down undah," Matt winked.
"Holy crap, you got The Kiwis?!" Rina gasped.
"Yes. And now we're just waiting to see about the Soft Rock Cafe. There's a sketchy waiter who would let us rent the place out for cheap as long as he gets in for free, but we need to put a deposit on it first. How much do you have?" Matt asked.
"I should get my paycheck soon on my next shift. I can cash it in…but I won't have the money to pay back your parents. I'm sorry," Tai blushed.
"Don't worry about it for now. I paid it off, but you can owe me later," Matt nodded.
"Now I'm starting to see how you owe money up the ass," Rina remarked.
"Shut up!" Tai groaned.
"How are you in this much debt and you haven't even graduated high school yet?" Rina asked.
"Come on, stop reminding me," Tai huffed.
"Is she going to sit there and cry all day? I would say I appreciate the business, but I honestly don't. All she orders is the mocha chip frap with a banana blended inside and that's just so unsightly," Catherine shivered.
"I honestly think we should not be allowed to have custom orders for this reason! I'm going bananas trying to clean these blenders," Zoe grunted.
"Oh Jesus…I'll go check up on her," TK hopped over the counter. "Hey Mimi, how are you doing?"
"Go away!" Mimi threw her drink at him.
"Gaaaah! Okay, that was uncalled for!" TK jumped back.
"It's your fault Izzy won't talk to me anymore and I'm moving so I won't see anyone anymore and this sucks!" Mimi slid over the table and began to cry.
"What?" TK gasped.
"I'm moving back to Niagara Falls and I wanted to tell Izzy but he's brushing me off because he probably thinks I told everyone he was gay even though he's not and I didn't do it," Mimi sobbed.
"That's a lot to take in…," TK grimaced.
"I hope you're happy now! I should go back to wooooork," Mimi got up from her chair and continued to cry.
"What did I miss? And why are you covered in frappucino?" Kari put on her apron and hat.
"Well, thanks to us, Mimi and Izzy are no longer talking and Mimi is super pissed about it," TK shook his head.
"She'll get over it, she'll find someone else to annoy," Kari shrugged.
"You're being a little too callous about this. This is all your fault, you know that, right?" TK grunted.
"I'm sorry that I didn't want to tell the whole world you were gay. Forgive me for that, but maybe it's time you stop blaming others and time for you to start coming to terms with it if you don't want me to cover for you," Kari put her hands on her hips.
"You're gay?" Catherine raised an eyebrow.
"I have to go," TK shot Kari a dirty look.
"Hey buddy, how's it been?" Tai leaned over the counter.
"What do you want?" Izzy crossed his arms.
"Nothing, just catching up!" Tai nervously laughed.
"He's not gay, if you're fishing," Yolei interrupted.
"Whaaaat? Me, fishing? Nooooo….," Tai forced a smile.
"Why are you here?" Izzy clenched his jaw.
"Okay, so…I wanted to let you know that me and Matt are throwing a spring formal bash at the Soft Rock Cafe the same night as the school's dance. And you can ask anyone you want as your date to the dance, no judgement! But since you aren't gay…the statement still stands! You're still welcome to come! Also, Matt was able to get that girl group who came here a couple months ago, so they'll be performing," Tai sing-songed.
"Cool! Can I come?!" Yolei gasped.
"Sure! Tickets are $25 each," Tai nodded.
"That's much cheaper than the spring formal. I'll take two tickets!" Yolei handed Tai some cash.
"Sorry Tai, can't go. I have to work that night," Izzy shook his head.
"Then great news for you, because we've got the Soft Rock Cafe after the mall closes," Tai nodded.
"I'll keep that in mind," Izzy shrugged.
"Do you really mean that, or are you just saying that to shut me up?" Tai leaned on the counter.
"You've known me for over a decade, what do you think?" Izzy smirked.
"Come on, this is the last 'school' event we'll have together! You haven't been to any of them at all. Me, Sora, and Tai will be graduating soon-"
"Well, if I pass summer school," Tai shrugged.
"Point still stands. Can't you live a little? I'll pay for your ticket," Matt bribed Izzy.
"If I'm not mistaken, sounds like you're asking me out as a plus one to your little shindig," Izzy shot Matt an amused look.
"Uh…no!" Matt turned red.
"I'm gonna have to go with Izumi on this one. And no offense, that was the worst 'promposal' I've ever seen," Yolei grimaced.
"I was not asking you out- I was simply just…," Matt paused.
"Asking him out?" Tai laughed.
"Shut up! No, I already have a date. And she's a girl," Matt put his hands on his hips.
"Oh really? Why haven't you mentioned it?" Tai raised an eyebrow.
"Cause…ummm, it's awkward?" Matt grimaced.
"Or because she's not real," Izzy shook her head.
"Or because she's your stepsister?" Yolei smirked.
"Hey Violet, this is an ABCD convo, so can you eeeee-exit and move along? Buh-bye," Matt waved his hands.
"I hit a Sora spot," Yolei smirked.
"No, I didn't ask Sora out. That's weird…she's a real girl, I just don't know how you'll all feel about it. Okay?" Matt turned red.
"Okay, okay," Tai shrugged.
"Whatever you say," Izzy shook his head.
"I gotta go now, I have some plans to finalize!" Matt snapped his fingers and walked away.
"Do you think some of those plans involve finding a girl to your dance?" Izzy muttered.
"You've known us for how many years now? What do you think?" Tai shot him a smirk.
"I can do this, I can do this," TK wiped the palms on his hands on his shorts and checked his phone.
"Hi sir, will someone be joining you today?" a waiter stood by TK's table.
"Yeah, I think so. He's probably just caught up in that flower maze you guys recently put by the entrance. What's the deal with that anyways?" TK asked.
"Crowd control. We've been a pretty popular restaurant, but the demand is higher than we can handle at the moment. The flower maze just buys us some time and it actually increased our hype. Well, hopefully your guest is smart and makes their way to you soon. I'll check back up on you shortly," the waiter said.
"Thanks," TK nodded.
"Hey buddy!" Davis ran over to TK and sat down across from him. "Sorry for the hold up but did you see that they put up a flower wall by the entrance? I was getting lost cause I was hitting all these dead ends! I felt like once of those mice trying to find the cheese at the end of the puzzle!"
"There's a sign right at the beginning to choose the path with the pink flowers," TK smirked.
"Oops, I guess I missed it! So anyways, what made you wanna come here? This place looks kinda cool…but like the 20-something-year-old with a fancy job kind of cool, not like high school cool," Davis scanned the area.
"I dunno, just wanted to try something different. So, listen…there's been something I've been wanting to tell you for the longest time," TK tapped his fingers.
"Shoot, what is it?" Davis leaned forward.
"Um…Mimi's moving back to Niagara Falls," TK gulped.
"Damn, that sucks. I'm sorry bro…you didn't even get the chance to ask her out yet or anything, huh?" Davis pouted.
"Huh?" TK's eyebrows shot up.
"Come on, it's totally obvious. You've got a little thing for her. I see the way you smile around her, and Kari tells me you sneak Mimi free drinks every once in a while. You gotta stop being shy now. Come on, you have nothing in your way, cause Izzy's gay-"
"No, stop stop stop! That's all a lie," TK interrupted Davis.
"What?" Davis looked surprised.
"I mean it is true that Mimi is moving to Niagara Falls, however…Izzy's not the gay one. I am. That's why I wanted to call you here. I thought you should know, since you were my best friend," TK bit his lip.
"Oh…so how long have you known?" Davis slowly paused.
"I don't know," TK shrugged.
"This just doesn't make any sense. We've checked girls out together. Was that a lie?" Davis asked.
"No…I mean, yeah…I'm sorry, Davis, but I can't pretend anymore. I like guys and I can't get a certain one out of my head, and it sucks because I know he would never look at me that way. He's as straight as they come. Even so, just telling you feels good. I haven't told everyone else…but I'm not exactly ready for that yet. Mimi already figured it out, but I'm surprised she kept it as under wraps as she did," TK shrugged.
"Dang, so she threw Izzy under the bus to protect you? She must really like you. Would you consider trying something out with her?" Davis nodded.
"No, that was Kari. She overheard Mimi and I talking, and we didn't want Sora snooping. I just didn't think Kari would do that. She was only trying to help though," TK said.
"I see," Davis nodded. "Well, thanks for talking to me. This must have taken a lot of guts for you to even tell me anything. I'm sorry, it's just a lot to take in."
"I understand if you don't want to be friends anymore-" TK said.
"Don't be ridiculous! Of course I still want to be your friend! But if you don't mind, I think I want to cut this short. I've got to clear my head a bit," Davis flashed him a weak smile.
"Okay. Sure," TK nodded and gulped.
"Crap, this suckssss….why did my mom have to marry Sora's mom? I don't even like her like that, but at least she'd say yes…," Matt whined as he scrolled through his contact list on his phone.
"Hey Matt, ready for rehearsal?" Rina asked.
"Rina, Rina, Rina!" Matt sang.
"What?" Rina twirled her drumstick in the air.
"Hey, you going to the dance?" Matt asked.
"In case you forgot, I'm part of one of the performing acts. Of course I'm going," Rina smirked.
"Ugh, I mean, are you bringing a date? Please say no!" Matt clasped his hands together.
"Are you trying to ask me out?" Rina looked amused.
"Will you be my date to the dance?" Matt winced.
"Sure, I'll be your date," Rina smirked.
"Right on!" Matt grinned and secretly sighed in relief.
"Whoa, this place is nearly picked apart," Kari gasped.
"That's what happens when you decide to shop for the dance at the last minute," Mimi hopped off of a pedastal in the middle of the sales floor. "Lucky for you girls, I hid some dresses that I thought might look good on you."
"Wow, that's really nice of you," Sora gasped.
"Hey, gotta watch out for the gal pals," Mimi pulled out a clothing rack of dresses and rolled it in front of the girls. "Now you have to pick something and I'll give you my discount."
"Thank you, we appreciate it," Kari said in awe.
"You must have really been busy. In fact, we've barely seen you these past couple of weeks. Are you thinking of going to any of the dances?" Sora asked.
"Not really. I was hoping a certain someone would ask me to go, but I don't think I'm his type anyways. Anyways, I'm really crushing it at this job. I've made enough money that I paid off my credit card debt to my dad, and I'm almost done with the go-kart incident. This commission is awesome," Mimi smiled.
"You really are doing great. This has to be your longest lasting job," Kari said.
"It is. My manager said that this was the first year that they've sold almost their whole inventory. All because of moi," Mimi took a bow.
"Congratulations Mimi, we're so proud of you," Sora hugged her.
"Yeah, congrats," Kari nodded.
"So Sora, since you're picking out a dress, does that mean you're going to the dance?" Mimi raised an eyebrow.
"I dunno…I want to, but under the conditions that I can bring Joe without any judgement from anyone," Sora sighed as she fiddled with the skirt of a dress.
"That's it, you know what? I think it's been a while since we've all hung out as a group. I think we need to get together and air all of our grievances. We don't have a lot of time left and I want this year to end on good terms at least," Mimi crossed her arms.
"That's not a bad idea. I think we've been too wrapped up in our own things lately," Kari said.
"Sora, I'm thinking maybe you should organize this meeting though?" Mimi sheepishly said.
"Why me?! Isn't this your idea?" Sora yelled.
"I'd do it, but if I did, someone might not show up…," Mimi winced.
"Same," Kari bit her lip.
"Ugh, fine…," Sora tapped away at her phone.
"Hey Davis, can you do a bad news telegram for me?" Tai handed Davis a slip of paper.
"You want me to tell Megumi you're not taking her to the school dance? She'll probably slap you," Davis raised an eyebrow.
"You have to read the whole thing! I'm throwing a better dance with The Kiwis. They'll be coming to our event," Tai flicked the piece of paper.
"Wait, what? You mean that Aussie girl group? How did you get them to come to your party?" Davis asked.
"I dunno, Matt pulled a couple strings," Tai shrugged.
"Interesting," Davis nodded.
"Hey, you okay?" Tai nudged him.
"Yeah, I'm just thinking about a couple of things. I'm kinda undecided on some stuff, that's all. Like I thought I wanted something, because that's what I had my eyes on for so long. But the more I learn, I think I like something else more, and it's been in front of me this entire time. I just don't know if I want to make that decision. Like do I really like it, or do I only like it because it's recommended for me?" Davis paused.
"Right…I don't have any clue what you're talking about, but do what I do and go with your gut!" Tai shrugged.
"Thanks for the advice, I guess…," Davis frowned.
"What?" Tai asked.
"No offense, but I think there's some things you probably shouldn't be impulsive on. I hate to sound like everyone else, but maybe they're on to something. Look at you. You're still coming up with schemes, you don't have a college lined up, and you're not even sure if you'll be repeating your senior year yet. Bro, you'll be out in the real world sooner or not, they're not gonna care that you were in high school a week ago- that is if you pass your classes. Jun heard through the grapevine that Matt's got his stuff more together than you," Davis shook his head.
"Ouch…," Tai winced.
"Look, I'll do this thing for you, but dude…," Davis sucked his teeth and sighed.
"Ouch," Tai pouted.
*buzz buzz*
"EMERGENCY: GROUP MEETING TOMORROW AT 6 BY OLD SMOOTHIE STAND," Izzy glanced at the text message on his phone and rolled his eyes.
"Hey Izumi, I gotta leave early. You can manage closing shop by yourself?" Yolei asked.
"Been doing it for almost a year. This is the first time you…asked, and you already left," Izzy rolled his eyes and started counting the cash in the register.
"Hey Izzy…," Mimi gingerly walked over to Izzy.
"Hi Mimi. Just one moment, I'm closing up here…," Izzy curtly said.
"Please, can you stop? I know you're brushing me off, but I have to tell you something important before I'm gone," Mimi reached over the cash register.
"Before you're gone? Mimi, what are you trying to say?" Izzy closed his register shut and walked over to her.
"I'll be going back to Niagara Falls in a couple of weeks and I don't want us to keep fighting. I swear, I had nothing to do with that rumor that got started, and I already tore off TK's head. But before I move, I wanted to at least make things right between us and get some closure, so here…," Mimi handed him a piece of paper.
"What's thi…wait, is this a receipt for the go karts? Mimi, did you pay the repairs in full?" Izzy looked stunned.
"Like I said, I just wanted to make things right before I left. After all, it was my fault," Mimi forced a smile.
"Mimi…you didn't have to. And for what it's worth, I had a good time learning to drive with you- even if it didn't seem like it at the time. I don't even know what to do right now…is a hug appropriate or is that weird?" Izzy winced.
"It's not weird at all," Mimi wrapped her arms around him as they looked into each other's eyes.
"Now it's getting weird…yeah," Izzy broke away and shook himself off.
"Right…," Mimi turned red. "Look, this was dumb. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have-"
"Wait, did I do something?" Izzy looked dumbfounded.
"It's nothing. Just leave me alone," Mimi pushed him away and ran off.
"Crap, what the hell did I do wrong this time?" Izzy grunted. He quickly slammed the gate to the store down and chased after Mimi.
"Stop following me!" Mimi shoved an empty kiosk in front of Izzy.
"Hey, watch it! Just tell me, what did I do wrong?" Izzy pushed the cart to the side.
"Forget it, it's fine!" Mimi yelled as she knocked over a stack of magazines from a newspaper stand.
"Hey you brat! Get back over here or I'll call the cops!" a man shook his fist.
"Sorry about that! I'll get her," Izzy yelled back.
"Hmph," the man grunted as he picked his magazines up.
"Just get away!" Mimi huffed as she ran inside a floral maze.
"Mimi! Watch where you're going! Can't you read that sign?! It's closed!" Izzy grunted as he followed her into the maze.
"I don't ca…uh, I think I'm lost…," Mimi paused.
"If you weren't so impulsive, you'd see that this place is closed for renovations. Where are you?" Izzy pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration.
"I dunno, it's just tunnels and walls…," Mimi whined.
"I swear, I'm always looking for you…," Izzy muttered under his breath. "Okay, Mimi. Take a look at the flowers around you. What color are they?"
"Pink. Why?"
"Just stay there, don't move!" Izzy barked.
"Don't tell me what to do," Mimi started running again.
"Jesus Christ," Izzy groaned. He took a deep breath and started pushing through the flower walls.
"Hey, that's cheating!" Mimi exclaimed.
"Cut the crap and stop running off like a child!" Izzy tried to reach for her hand but she got up and dashed off.
"No!" Mimi pushed through bushels of roses until she hit a pond with a stone path connecting to the other side. "The floor is lava, can't catch me…"
"Don't be ridiculous! That's water and I don't think you're supposed to go across-"
"Ahhh!" Mimi slipped off of one of the stone steps and fell into the pond. "Izzy…I need help!"
"Of course you do…I can't believe this," Izzy jumped into the pool and swam over to Mimi. "Come over, I need you to pull closer to me."
"Sure, whatever you say," Mimi draped her arms around Izzy as he pushed them to the edge of the pond.
"Mimi, what's going on with you? Did I do something to set you off? Please, let me know what I did, or what I can do to make this better," Izzy held onto her.
"Just close your eyes," Mimi said as they bobbed in the water.
"Huh?" Izzy looked at her in confusion.
"Close your eyes and relax," Mimi slid her hands down his arms. She leaned in close and kissed him on the lips. "Okay, you can open your eyes."
"Mimi…," Izzy turned red.
"I'm sorry. I-I-I shouldn't have, I just like you, okay? Like I dunno…," Mimi stammered.
"Mimi, I like you too. You're my best friend, but what exactly do you want me to say? That this isn't fair at all? That it's hard enough to hear that I'll be losing a good friend, but this? Why did you even tell me?" Izzy touched his lips.
"I couldn't take it any longer. You have to admit, we're a great fit for each other. Doesn't this just feel right?" Mimi asked.
"Mimi…," Izzy sighed.
"Forget what's gonna happen in the next couple of weeks. Let's forget that we're in a broken pond in the middle of the mall right now. It's just me and you, come on…," Mimi grabbed on to Izzy tightly.
"I just don't want to lose you," Izzy said.
"Then be my lover, let's run away," Mimi looked into his eyes.
"Fine, you wore me down. Whatever you say," Izzy pulled Mimi's face closer to his and began kissing her back. Their kisses started off quick and timid, and gradually grew longer and deeper.
*stomp stomp*
"Hey, is someone else here?" Mimi broke off from their kiss.
"I think that's Davis and TK. What are they doing here?" Izzy squinted.
"What are they doing here?" Mimi peeked her head out from the pond.
"Great meeting place. How private," TK smirked as he looked back at a flower maze and a rock pond.
"Exactly," Davis bit his lip.
"So…what's with the rendezvous?" TK put his hands in his pockets.
"I thought we should talk because I think I might be confused about things," Davis said.
"Oh? Like what?" TK raised an eyebrow.
"I just keep going back to what you were talking about the last time we were at this place, and I'm confused. Like I like girls a lot. A whole lot, but I think thanks to you, I'm starting to question certain things. Like what if I like dudes too? But I don't know…I don't wanna say I like dudes, but there's this one guy and I just like his vibe. Like if he were a chick, we'd be going out in an instant…but because he's a dude, I'm not sure. I dunno, I feel like maybe he could be the rule breaker. Would I still be gay or nah?" Davis frowned.
"What are you trying to say?" TK crinkled his eyebrows.
"I'm not sure if I'm as completely straight as I thought I was, but how do I really know?" Davis asked.
"I guess the only way you can really answer that question is by trying to figure it out yourself. Just because I'm gay doesn't mean I know all the answers," TK smirked.
"But I think you could help me out. TK, that guy you like, is he someone I know? Because the guy I think I like, he's someone you know…and he's standing right in front of me," Davis held on to TK's hands.
"There's someone else here?" TK turned his head around.
"I'm talking about you," Davis yanked TK closer to him.
"Seriously?" TK grinned.
"I don't think I'm ready to 'come out' yet, but I want to see where things lead us, rule breaker," Davis nodded.
"I never thought I'd see this day coming," TK put his hands on Davis's chest as Davis leaned him against a pillar.
"Neither did I," Davis pulled TK's face close to his as they shared a passionate kiss. He pressed himself deeper against TK with every hair tug he felt from TK's curled fingers.
*smack smack*
*splash*
"Hey, is someone else here?" TK relaxed his grip and looked at Davis with frightened doe eyes.
"Crap…," Davis wiped off his face.
*mmmhhaaa*
*splash*
"I don't think anyone saw us, but still. I thought we'd be alone," TK brushed his fingers through his hair.
"I think the noise is coming from there," Davis whispered as he pointed at the pond.
"Let's check it out," TK tiptoed.
"What are they doing here?"
"Come on, someone's definitely here!" Davis motioned TK over.
"Hey, what are you guys doing here?" TK hovered over the pool.
"We got lost?" Izzy blurted out.
"Yeah, super lost…," Mimi nodded as she bobbed in the water.
"Riiight…okay. Lost," Davis narrowed his eyes at them.
"Now what are you guys doing here?" Mimi raised an eyebrow.
"Um…just scoping out a possible venue for Tai and Matt's thing, you know?" TK nervously laughed.
"Alright," Izzy pursed his lips together.
"So…since it looks like you got lost, you guys need any help getting out of the pond?" Davis extended a hand out.
"Uh…sure?" Mimi looked back at Izzy and took Davis by the hand.
"Uppsie daisy!" Davis lifted her up off the pond.
"Thanks," Mimi sheepishly smiled.
"I appreciate the offer, but it's not necessary. I'll get myself up," Izzy climbed out of the pond and sat at the edge.
"Well, this makes for an interesting night…," TK whistled.
"Yeah," Mimi nervously laughed.
"Well, we should probably leave. It's getting late. Come on, Mimi," Izzy said.
"Bye," Mimi grabbed on to Izzy's arm and they left through an alternate exit.
"See ya later guys," Davis waved.
"Of course, time flies when you're sucking face," TK smirked.
"Wait, you don't think…?" Davis pointed at the exit.
"Did you see the guilty look on their faces? Or just the glitter lip gloss all over his mouth?" TK looked at Davis in amusement.
"Shut the hell up, no way!" Davis smacked him on the arm.
"Yes way!" TK excitedly nodded.
"Oooh, secrets are a-brewing. How scandalous," Davis rubbed his chin.
