A/N: DANGIT, I HAVE MISSPELLED JESSE'S NAME!

Thanks person who told me in the comments, i had no idea. Rip my memory. (also why do these names have so many different ways to spell them oof) I really need to double check the names in case of stuff like that.

".. What?" Syrus asked, stunned. Keel.. isn't serious, right? Well, maybe. But, how..?

"You mean.. Like.. Ask Zane for his deck? He's not gonna just hand it over, you know that? Right..?" Syrus asked, a nervous smile on his face as he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. Zane before wouldn't just hand his deck for no reason, let alone this version of him..

I understand that. Keel spoke.

That's why.. I wish for you to take us from him.. In the dead of night, if you have to..

It felt like time froze as Syrus stared in shock. Steal from Zane..? But, he...

"No!" Syrus yelped. "I-I mean, I could never! Keel, I can't!"

Please..! Keel begged, slithering to him. Those duels over and over.. It's like we're only treated like weapons to rip others apart. For so long, we've been isolated.. Only for your brother to use us for nothing but torturing his opponents. Syrus, please..!

The Ra Yellow Duelist gulped, feeling himself tremble a bit. He wants to help them, he really does. But.. It's Zane they're talking about. Zane! He can't ever just, take something from him! Also, if he finds out, then he's dead! Zane doesn't show any mercy! Not anymore...

But.. It isn't right to leave them with him. Not if they're hurting like this. But..

"P-Please, just.. Can I think about it at least? It's.. It's hard."

Keel nods. Of course. But, then be careful.. He's been acting more ruthless lately.. Just.. Stay away until you have made your mind. Only come at night, when he's asleep.

"Uh, yeah.. Okay." Syrus nods. It still seems impossible. He just can't! But, then the Cyberdarks would keep being mistreated. But, he can't disrespect his brother like that! But..

Syrus shook his head, trying to stop his brain from drowning in all these conflicting thoughts. He sighed, giving Keel a pat on the head. "I'll see you around, okay..?"

Keel nods, then fades as the blue haired boy was left alone. When he began walking back, UFOroid came out to speak his opinion on this. It was negative as he expected.

"I know.." He sighed. "I.. I can't steal from him.. But, if I leave them like this.. Wouldn't that be a terrible thing to do?"

UFOroid beeped, not knowing what to say.

"I'll.. I need to think.."

Syrus!!

Syrus, hurry and wake up!! We gotta go!!

Syrus groaned as he covers his head with the blanket, though he struggled with how heavy it felt. Five more minutes, mysterious feminine voice...

Come on, we're gonna miss him!! Pleeease!!

"I'm up, I'm up..." He got up and yawned, not really processing that this voice was someone he didn't reconized, getting up with drowsiness as he gets ready. Jaden's still asleep, though.. It's early, Dragonroid..

Wait, Dragonroid! Oh!

The duel spirit hopped off the bed, running around Syrus in a circle.

Come on, we have to go! Pretty please?

The Ra Yellow Duelist blinked, before putting his blazer on and follows the duel spirit to.. wherever she wanted to go.

Wow, he had no idea Dragonroid sounded like that. It had a robotic, cheerful voice. Kinda reminded him of one of those little restaurant mascots that are made to be cute.

As he follows her, he ends up bumping to Jesse. (Whoa, it's like he appeared from thin air!)

"Uh, Syrus right?"

"Y-Yeah! Heheh, sorry for running into you. Still tired."

Jesse smiled. "No problem!" He chuckled at Dragonroid as she leaps into Syrus's arms, causing the Ra Yellow Duelist to grunt as he struggled to hold her up. "Is that your Dragonroid?"

"Y-Yep..! You.. You see them too, right..?!" Syrus squeaked out, doing his best to not drop Dragonroid. He should've expected her to be heavy, considering well.. Metal.

Jesse nods as he holds his hands behind his back casually. "Yep! Though, I thought you couldn't see them before? At least, that's what Jaden told me when I brought up you staring right at Ruby."

"Oh, uh.. It kinda.. Happened?"

"Huh??" The Obelisk Blue student blinked, very confused. Ok, that's kinda crazy.

"Y-Yeah, I just kinda started hearing them.. I don't know why." Syrus mumbled as he's now trying to hold Dragonroid on his back.

Oh, there he is!!

Huh? Syrus looked at Jesse and almost yelped, not expecting to see Rainbow Dragon instead of Ruby Carbunkle. "W-Where's uh..!"

"Oh, Ruby doesn't really hang around much in the mornings." The Obelisk Blue student chuckled. "He likes sleeping in, you know? So, Rainbow Dragon usually hangs with me in the morning!"

Oh, isn't he beautiful, Syrus?? It's like seeing an angel...

Syrus blinked. Wait...

"Rainbow Dragon?" His Dragonroid likes Rainbow Dragon? That's.. Actually, it's very cute and unexpected. Mostly cause he expected her to like one of Zane's cards, if she was gonna have a crush. Though, thank god she didn't. It would've broken her poor heart because of what's happening now..

"Say, how are you holding up? Are you okay? The Society of Light took over Obelisk Blue..."

Jesse hummed, thinking. "Well, I haven't seen them try anything yet.."

But, they have their eyes on you.

Rainbow Dragon spoke. You need to be more careful. They prey on your weaknesses and drag you before you even realize what they're doing..

Plus, they're creepy!! With their weird cult stuff!!

"Ack, Dragonroid..!" Syrus gasped as the metal duel spirit tightly hugged his neck, but let go when she noticed he wasn't able to breathe. Sorry, Syrus!

"Ah, It's almost time for school to start. I better get going. I'll see ya later?"

"Yep!" Syrus smiled. "We'll meet at class! I gotta go wake Jay up, though. He'll sleep the day away, otherwise!"

"Right! See ya!"

Alright.. Now, to go wake up Jaden.

"Hey, Sarge! Private!" Hassleberry ran to them, looking frizzled as he sped to the two. Syrus and Jaden turned to the dino duelist, confused at his shaken appearance. "Uh, Hassleberry? What's up?" Jaden asks.

"It's that Zane guy! He's duelin' someone!!"

Syrus felt his blood freeze up as he immediately bolted to follow Hassleberry, Jaden following behind. Many thoughts flooded his head, having flashbacks to his own duel against Zane, questions that make him nauseous to think of.

'Are the collars involved?'

'Is his opponent being electrocuted?'

'Is Keel hurt?'

'Will that person even make it..?'

It only took a few minutes to reach the duel arena, but Syrus felt like it took forever. Yet, seeing the duel distressed him even more. Zane stood there on one end, with a face that held the same cold indifference.

On the other side was a Society of Light member. He looked calm as he stared at Zane with a slight glare. What Syrus noticed was his light brown hair and blue eyes. Must be an Obelisk before he joined?

"Honestly.." The member growled a bit. "You have no place with us. Not with your hellish dueling and disrespect. We once again say, our dorm does not accept people like you. I'll show you how our light is superior, and that you will never set foot in our grounds again!"

Zane scoffed. "Please. As if you all can stand against me. Very pathetic. You all are so weak."

"What's going on?"

"It must be because of Zane invading the Blue Dorm." Hassleberry spoke as his eyes narrowed at the duel. "So far, things have been surprisingly smooth. Well, as in nobody has gotten hurt yet." Jaden nods, unable to hide his glare as he leans onto the seat.

Syrus looked at the field. The Society of Light member had 1,100 LP left. He had Gragonith, Lightsworn Dragon at 3,200 Attack points.

Zane, on the other hand, had 1,500 LP. He had Cyberdark Dragon on the field.

Syrus couldn't help but stare. Oh.. He kinda wondered about fusion monsters, but it's still so shocking that he can feel each emotion. They're all sharing one body to battle with. Then, who's in control? Or are they all in control?

When they looked at the audience, Syrus flinched. Because he knew that Keel was looking at him. He can feel their sadness and pain, being used like tools. He can almost imagine what Keel is saying...

Please.. I don't want to keep doing this..

His heart ached in guilt.

"It's my move." Zane spoke, drawing a card. He looks at his hand, and a smile began to form. Before, it simply told him that he got a good card. Zane's smile used to be something that meant respect. But.. Now, it just terrifies him. It meant danger, that you may not even make it out of this duel.

And the next words he heard made his eyes went wide, feeling something cold stab into his chest as he froze.

"I activate the spell card, Power Bond." Zane spoke, showing the card. "With this card, I can fuse two or more monsters. So, I fuse my Cyberdark Dragon with my Cyber End Dragon to summon..!!"

When the monster came out, It roared as it looked like it erupted from the depths of hell itself.

It screeched as Cyber End Dragon was connected to the other dragon, sticking the cords onto their head as the ribs clung onto Cyber End Dragon's body. Syrus felt himself shiver as he could feel that Cyber End Dragon was being hurt fighting against it.

"Cyberdark End Dragon!!"

"And thanks to Power Bond's effect.. It's power is doubled." Zane smirked. "Also, it gains 100 ATK points for every dark type dragon monster in my graveyard!"

Cyberdark End Dragon: 10,800 ATK

"Does the guy have any spells or somethin'?" Jaden shook his head to Hassleberry's comment. There's nothing he can do in this situation. Besides, card effects can't effect Cyberdark End Dragon. It's over.

"Cyberdark Dragon, strike down his Lightsworn Dragon!!" In Zane's command, it blasted a harsh beam at the Society of Light duelist. But, he then let out a scream like no other. One that was full of pain and agony as he felt his flesh burn.

Evryone gasped as people began freaking out. Zane's eyes widen a bit, as if he was surprised. Syrus was stunned as he stared at the duelist on the floor, trembling as some of his coat was seared, allowing you to see the burns on his body. Jaden ran over to go help him with Hassleberry as Jesse was horrified.

Syrus turned to look at his brother. Zane looked puzzled, before he noticed.

They lock eyes for a moment, and he could've sworn that he felt the temperature drop to the negatives. Zane only gave him a slight glare, before walking off.

The blue haired boy looked at his brother leaving before he caught a glimpse of Keel. They looked.. Worried. Concerned as they stared back before fading away. There was a deeper enotion, but Syrus couldn't see it from that distance. But, he knew that Keel was looking straight at him. Keel must've known it was going to happen.

Syrus gulped. Did.. Did Zane really do that? No, the guy was fine before. It only happened when..

When they came...

It's not... It's not that, right..?

He didn't cause this, right..?
