Shion: Welcome back to another thrilling story from ItWasTheVoices. Brought to you by the same writer who has yet to give my KOSMOS her screen time promised in her contract!

IWTV: Hey! That wasn't part of the introduction! Anyway, welcome back folks. Our hero Allen had identified the vampire from the night before. Can he convince anyone of what he saw was true? Or will fate help out with that? Let's find out!

Chapter Three: The Second Sighting

Allen had helped Setsuki find his brother when they reached the lab. When Togashi spotted Allen walking into the lab, he let his vampire jokes slide as he spotted the vexed face of his kid brother scowling beside Allen. Togashi turns blue when he realized he forgot something he was supposed to do before his lunch break today…and that was picking up his brother from the ship dock at 11am. It was now 3pm.

The older brother swoops in to smooth over the situation, which didn't help much at all as 'little Toga' kept scowling at him quietly all the way to the employee cafeteria. Allen watched as Togashi had to explain himself over pancit with him, Miyuki, and Setsuki during a late lunch. Miyuki did most of the talking for the younger brother, scolding Togashi like she was his mother. "How could you forget your OWN brother?" Miyuki glared.

"Hey, I thought it was tomorrow! My mother told me they were leaving for vacation tomorrow, not this morning," explained Togashi. He pleaded with Setsuki, "Bro you gotta believe me. Mom told me the wrong date; I swear."

"Even if she did, you could have answered your phone, asshole," grumbled the teen. Togashi glared and looked at his phone to notice the missed phone calls he left on his phone. "Thanks to you, I wandered around the Dammerung for like hours until some creepy looking guy took pity on me. He thought I was one of the business interns until I told him I was looking for your lab."

Setsuki angrily drinks his soda as he relays his morning. "I'm surprised he knew where it was," Allen added.

"By the way, what the heck happened to you when that guy started talking to you? You acted like he was going to bite your head off," Setsuki asked. Allen shifted in his seat and mumbled something about Wilhelm sucking out his blood when Miyuki says, "Allen! Are you still going on about that vampire dream you had?"

"But Miyuki, it wasn't a dream, it was real! Wilhelm was in our room last night looking to drink someone's blood," argued Allen.

"Seriously, Allen. It was just a dream," Miyuki waves her hand to calm him down.

"Sounds like someone is just afraid of his boss," smirked the obnoxious Setsuki.

"Hey! I'm not afraid of our boss," Allen argued with the teenager. "Look, I'm sorry I brought it up at work earlier. It-it was just upsetting is all," he elaborated.

"Clearly," Togashi chimes in. "Why don't we talk about something else? Like did you hear that new Seraphim Sisters album?" Togashi and Miyuki gush over the new album like a couple of fan girls. Allen listens in while eyeing Setsuki to see if he would give a rude response to his brother's girly moment. The man noticed the young man didn't appear to be paying attention to the conversation as he looked over his brother's shoulder at a coffee stand nearby.

Setsuki kept staring at a blonde girl with an intense stare past his brother and friends, almost in a hypnotic state. The boy couldn't believe who he was seeing. Was it really her? He watches her order coffee from the café, her mannerisms eerily familiar as was her appearance. Her olive skin was covered with a darker shirt covered by her black sweater she wore with her mini skirt and knee-high boots. The boy blinks surprised to see the girl he knew about a year ago, the blushing teen happy to see her again. He hadn't seen her in what felt like so long, not since that strange night.

"Heeeeey Setsuki, why do you think there's only two Sisters in the band?" Miyuki asked.

"Uh-huh," replied the teen. Togashi glares at his rude brother and says,

"Hey Setsuki, can I have your pudding?"

"Uh-huh."

"…Hey, Set, are you a pretty princess?" Togashi grinned.

"Uh-huh," replied the teen in a distant response. Togashi could tell the boy never registered anything he said, confused on what was getting him so enamored. The pretty blonde spots the bashful teen's brown eyes on her from across the room. The boy blushes madly in front of Togashi before turning himself into a turtle and hiding himself inside his shirt. Togashi turns around to see the teenage girl blink through her dark sunglasses at the bashful boy, before she walks away drinking her coffee in disappointment. Togashi grins proudly and turns to his little brother.

"Looks like someone is back in the picture," joked the older brother.

"Shut up!" griped Setsuki.

"Setsuki, what's wrong?" Allen asked.

"Oh don't worry Allen. My brother is just going through a similar situation," Togashi winks at his mentor. Allen looks over at Setsuki with curiosity.

"It's nothing, just drop it." Setsuki pleaded.

"What is it?" Miyuki asked with concern. The female scientist scoots over to the young man to comfort him from his older brother, pretending to be the sweet older sister.

"Hey Setsuki, it's okay. You can tell us. I'm sure you can trust your brother and yours truly with what's bothering you," she smiles. Setsuki blushes at the goofy Miyuki before replying,

"It's probably nothing, but-but that girl I saw, I think I know her from back on Second Militia."

"Oh, like an ex-girlfriend?" Miyuki asked.

"Oh I wish we could have dated! I…I never got to ask her out before we moved here." Setsuki sulked. Miyuki suddenly went starry eyed thinking of magically setting up the boy with his crush. Togashi looked at Miyuki already knowing she had a crazy idea cooking up in her head. The woman in a giddy state claps her hands impishly.

"I told you; you could have asked her to be a long-distance thing," Togashi said as he ignored Miyuki's plotting.

"Mom and Dad wouldn't let that work. They never liked her," Setsuki continued to sulk.

"What?! But she looks so sweet," Togashi replied.

"They said she looked like 'she would steal my soul and sell it to the devil'." Setsuki elaborates in a nasally impression of their mother.

"Wellllllll, okay she kind of does. But only because of her fashion choices," Togashi attempted to comfort his brother. Setsuki groaned and said, "I don't think I will ever get her to see me more than as a friend!"

"No, you're wrong." Allen interjects, prompting all three of them to look at the man. Allen lets an out of character pep talk escape from his lips, "Setsuki, you can't give up just because you think she won't like you. All you can do is ask. The worse she could say is no." Setsuki sighs thinking of this until Allen hastily replies, "I have an idea. Let's make a pact. I have been trying to get the courage to ask out someone at work too. So, you and I can be each other's arms of courage to ask out our crushes. What do you say, Setsuki? We can do this, right?" Setsuki blinks at the weirdo sitting at the table and smiles in a bashful manner. He stands up with Allen and Togashi smirks.

"You're right Allen! We can do this. I am going to march up to her, and I am going to ask her out!"

"Yeah!" cheered Allen.

"And YOU'RE going to ask Shion out!" Setsuki cheered.

"…." Allen proceeds to faint on the floor just thinking about asking Shion out on a date. The very perceptive Setsuki looks at his brother and Miyuki with Togashi replying, "He'll be fine."

-Nighttime-

Togashi exits the Research Division hallway to cross a bridge overlooking a botanical garden and the military sector of the ship. Togashi dragged along Allen over his shoulders as the man worked himself into a coma on his desk. The man dragged along his mentor muttering how the guy could spout out nonsense about vampires one minute, and then go on to complete a mountain of paperwork the next. Allen softly talks in his sleep about Shion like a lovesick puppy. Togashi continues to mutter on until he catches the glimpse of a white-haired man skulking along the walkway of the botanical garden below him. He curiously peeks over watching the man walk casually underneath the bridge with two people behind him. One of the people appearing to be an unconscious Vector employee. The woman was being supported by another figure who he couldn't see from under their blue hood. "So you just use your powers to suck the life out of people for shits and giggles?" The figure from under their dark blue hooded cape whispered to the man, dragging the unconscious woman with him.

The man narrows his eyes while walking calmly with the hooded figure. He turns to hooded man to clarify, "I do not 'suck the life out of them', you fool. As part of my powers, I use the energy around us to use as I see fit. Sometimes to help us recover from an injury, and other times, just to bewitch someone into essentially forget whatever you want them to." Wilhelm explained while watching the hooded figure drag the woman to a nearby bench. He points to the bench when the brash figure asks, "Why am I dragging her if this one was your fault?"

"Because I haven't forgotten your transgression from last week," scowled the red eyed man.

"Look I didn't mean to. I said I was sorry."

"Well 'sorry' doesn't cut it. Not after you almost outed one of us," Wilhelm continued to scowl at him.

"Well nobody told me Eric was supposed to be undercover," argued the hooded figure in a loud whispered tone.

"Maybe if you ACTUALLY paid attention longer than five minutes, you would remember what I told you during the briefings," Wilhelm grits his teeth at the hooded figure.

"I'm beginning to think this 'grounding' is going to last longer than I thought…" The Blue Testament remarked after wiping their forehead. Wilhelm silently lets his eyes stare daggers into the now nervous hooded figure.

"I could think of better ways to punish you if the message isn't becoming clear, Virgil." Wilhelm's voice was a dangerous calm as the hooded figure started turning blue with fear from his serious stare. The figure lowered his head in fear standing up straight. Wilhelm stares at him for the longest three minutes of the figure's life, and then walks away from him. "I suggest you use that time to think about your actions," Wilhelm orders the figure with a callous voice, walking away with a calm stride. The figure tries to protest but sighs and says 'Yes sir' in defeat. The blue hooded figure sulks behind him, turning around briefly to look at the Vector employee who looked asleep on the bench, and then disappears when he sees him about to leave the area without him.

Togashi was left alone watching the scene unfold, eyes wide with dismay. He stares at the unconscious woman on the bench and looks back at his sleeping friend drooling on his shoulder. "…Holy shit."

Allen: Not that I'm complaining about getting a fanfic staring me, but when do we get to the cooler parts of the vampire story?

IWTV: Soon, Mr. Ridgeley. Soon...

(IWTV, you have a walk-in for your 2pm meeting slot. She said it was very urgent)

IWTV: Oh thank you, Liddy! It's so hard finding good help these days.

(Please hurry...this blue haired lady is pointing a blaster at me. My medical insurance doesn't cover that...)

IWTV and Allen: Wait? Blue Hair?

Stay tuned for chapter 4!
