Deal with a Fae,

part 1.

Summary :

The Smartholomews make a deal with a "proper" Fae. While I learn the secrets of just what this Cosmo is.

Some weeks after the Smartholomews graduated the Time Lord Institute. Our first Mission, as a Time Lord .

I stepped out of our TARDIS... One of the Leyline Vessels I grew in my dimension.

Stepping into "the Apocalypse Verse", which was a fully formed universe, in my favorite Leyline. Here, all worlds struggled for survival. All fated to self destruct, due to some war or other calamity. With the people living in Post Apocalyptic wastelands.

The Time Lords had reported a benevolent Royal Fae, harvesting desperate mortals from this dimension, in my Styx Leyline. Following behind me was a Hispanic man, with Caucasian features, and blue hair... the first of my hive, the original "Smart Mouth". Our little Smartie, standing so small, due to having a rare version of proportional dwarfism, Time Lords occasionally develop. It usually only lasted for one face.

It was just the two of us... not that we were ever truly alone, with our hive mind. Whom were chatting non-stop, worried for us... after all, we were meeting with a proper fae.

The TARDIS shrunk down to the size of a squirrel, while turning into a tiny corgi. The TARDIS-doggo then hopped onto my shoulder, barking playfully.

I smiled, pulling out a Lyrium Crystal from no where, and feeding it to the vehicle.

The little dog gave a happy yip, before devouring his snack, careful not to nip his master's fingers.

"Good boy," I smiled, as I pet the currently tiny, and fuzzy, vehicle.

While the TARDIS munched, he insisted. "Thankies S'mouth, you always have the best Lyrium." said the Corgi.

I gently scratched the pupper's ear. "I should, I grow it myself."

All too soon, we found a clearing, with a single massive tree, Larger then any red wood. It was obviously foreign to this forest, with none of the other trees like it.

It worked like my TARDISes. As it was a gateway, into another dimension. Royal Fae needed these, to interact with other dimensions... mine just happened to be mobile... and independent lifeforms, connected to my realm.

As with most godlike beings, the royal fae were not truly mystical, but rather inter-dimensional lifeforms. Magic was just Science after all. With rules and limitations. Even for self aware dimensions, like the royal fae.

We needed to impress. As we were supposed to open peaceful negotiations, and get the fae to help take on the interdimensional Daleks. And this Fae was known to be the most benevolent to mortals.

I actually read the fan fiction she was based on, back in the real world. "Wondercolts Forever" was even one of my favorite stories, over on FiM Fiction. So I knew I could trust this Fae.

"Greetings Fair Lady, Daughter of Odin," I stood tall, and greeted the apparently inert tree. Giving it a low bow. "I request an audience."

The tree cracked open, revealing a swirling portal of energy, just under the bark. "present your gift," A regal voice spoke from nowhere. "And if it be worthy, we shall hear you."

I took out a much larger Lyrium Crystal, again from apparently no where. As I was pulling them out of my own personal dimension, from inside myself.

This stone was a good deal bigger then the one I fed the TARDIS. As it was nearly the size of Smartie. Who stood at just under 3, and a half, feet.

This stone, unlike the small blue one, pulsed black with red glowing vains. The TARDIS understood it was not for eating. Not even if he was desperate.

Smartie Cast a levitation spell, on the stone. Having it closely follow him, as he stepped into the portal.
