Lena mumbles to herself as she watches Kara eating the pretty pastry she brought from her last business trip in Berlin. Those blue eyes sparkle with each bite, the blonde moans and licks her lips, so excited to taste everything, that she's missing to notice Lena's desire to become one of those little cakes, so she can get inside that mouth. At last, Lena's eyes have settled on the one and only Kara Danvers. Why?!

Lots of people see nothing relevant in Kara, no reason to believe she's special and they couldn't be more wrong. Blonde, blue eyes, tall, over 120 lbs of muscle because regardless of the huge quantity of greasy food she might eat, the dear reporter has zero blubber in her body and so many more qualities make Kara, a fine specimen that Lena plans to make hers soon, very soon.

Perseverance and patience is the key. The raven-haired woman is a supreme hunter, she's waiting for the perfect moment to jump into the strong arms of Kara and be able to make a complete home run. But she's running out of patience, it's taking too long to do the naughty with the blonde and Lena is struggling with keeping their relationship PG-13.

They say Luthors are so secretive, stealthy and unparalleled predators. They dominate everything around them, everything their eyes lay on and yet, Lena's predator's gaze has no effect on the oblivious blonde who's wagging in her seat like a golden retriever while she eats. How can she be immune to Lena's sex appeal? Well, that's because right now, Kara's focus is on the food Lena provided. And, like any good lioness who brings a feast to their king, Lena is waiting for her entry, to get what she desires.

"Ah! My mouth is melting! This is delicious, Lena!"

The blonde is the personification of a puppy, always happy, a carefree spirit, always sparkling. Lena has never met anyone like her before and probably that's one of the reasons she fell for her hard and fast. She's definitely the best part of Lena's life. She's the reason why everything looks prettier now, in Lena's eyes. And, she's also the reason why Lena's carpet is getting jam stains.

"Ah, it slips! I'm so sorry, Lee. I can clean it"

"Do not worry darling, it's okay…"

The blonde shakes her head and tries to clean her mess and of course she just makes it worse when she expands the stain, Lena doesn't look mad at all now that her white carpet is not longer spotless, she's actually chuckling, looking amused with the mess Kara is doing in her living room.

"Lee! I'm making a mess!"

"I know and it's adorable…"

Kara frowns her eyebrow, tilting her head to the side, looking confused like a puppy and Lena cannot stop looking at her. She's so adorable, so pure that the dear Luthor feels bad for all the shameful thoughts she has every time that Kara licks her fingers after eating. But, she cannot stop it, she's thirsty, she's hungry for Kara, even if no one gets why.

"Do I still have jam in my face, Lee?"

Yes, she has and Lena smirks. Finally! Her persistence and patience pay off, this is the opportunity she was waiting for and, for once, the odds are in her favor. Like a lioness, Lena doesn't hesitate to dash forward to her prey and gets a taste of the exquisite blonde she has in front of her when she cleans Kara's face with her tongue.

"Leeeeee!"

The blonde blushes, red like a tomato when Lena's tongue takes care of the jam around her lips. Like any prey, the blonde could try to wriggle away from the dear Luthor, but Lena's one step ahead and to catch her prey, she gets very close, close enough to give no escape to the elusive Kara Danvers.

They have been dating, officially for more than two weeks and during all that time, they've just kissed. There's nothing wrong with a tender peck on the lips, but Lena is hungry for more, she's ready for more and the fire in her eyes says even more. Kara gulps, feeling like a defenseless gazelle in the middle of the Savanna, fearing to get eaten in any second. And, by her reaction, she's not ready to go further, so for now, Lena will let it go.

The CEO recoils, smirking and amused by the reaction she got from the blonde.

"Relax, darling. I'll not eat you… at least not today…"

"Lee! You're making me blush! A lot!"

Lena laughs when Kara tries to scold her for teasing her like that. And, do not get it wrong, Kara wants to do more than kissing but, without revealing her dual identity, it just feels wrong to make that step with Lena. She's waiting for the best moment to come clean and tell the truth. But, can Lena wait that long?

For some reason Kara doesn't understand, Lena doesn't look angry with the lack of progress in their relationship. And, that's because with Kara, everything is enjoyable. Kara Danvers came into her world, jumping around with nothing more than a big smile. And, that big smile must be contagious, because right now, Lena smiles like never before.

"You look so pretty when you smile, Lena"

"Really?"

"Yes. I want to always make you smile"

Kara says with such affection and sincerity that Lena cannot believe such a person can exist at all. No one has ever made such a vow to her and the idea of infinity happiness gets over her head. This means so much than sex, Kara means so much. That's why she can wait, she will wait for Kara to get ready to be intimate with her. After all, she feels lucky enough to have someone like Kara in her life.

Left alone after her mother's death, rejected by the Luthors, Lena has struggled to survive in a hostile environment her entire life. She never really felt loved till Kara became her friend. That's why…

"What do you mean, Lena?"

It feels so unreal this love that Lena cannot stop wondering if she's just dreaming, but she's not, at least, the soft lips that touch her cheek doesn't feel like a dream.

"Kara, you…"

"I'm always going to care to see you happy, Lena. You're the most beautiful thing the world has to offer and I plan to protect it with all I've…"

"Kara…"

The blonde leans for a tender kiss on the lips, whispering her vow to always make her happy, always make her smile and feel loved. Lena blushes, her porcelain skin gets red in moments like this, when cute Kara becomes so straight forwards with words. Now, it's Lena's mouth that's melting under the taste of Kara. So sweet, so tender. Lena can taste the remains of jam in Kara's mouth and she wants to taste so many more sweet things from the blonde, but before things turn hotter, Kara excuses herself and leaves. Again, Lena doesn't look mad, she's smiling like a fool, still under the effects of that sweet kiss, she misses to notice Supergirl closes to her building, ready to save the day.

And, while Supergirl is saving lives, a lusty Lena takes a cold, very cold shower. Under the water, the dear Luthor wonders about the reasons for this abrupt departure of the blonde.

The desire to get as close as possible has been on the rise, and that has been on the front burner for the two of them, she knows it, she's not blind, she can tell when Kara looks at her like a snack she wants to devour but, why she hasn't? Lena has made it very clear that she would be more than happy to become Kara's favorite snack, but there's something that's stopping them from going further than a kiss. And, Lena wonders what that might be. Fearing the worst is her speciality, but she decides to not go down that road and just focus on the fact that…

"She loves me more than food"

Lena mumbles to herself, giggling like a fool. The happy thought and her giggling remain till the next day. She's so out of herself that she misses to notice the confused look of her assistant who's wondering what is happening with her boss. Lena is the most terrifying, cold businesswoman in town and yet, under the influence of Kara's love, she's not more frightening than a little kitten.

"Are you feeling fine, Ms. Luthor?"

"Yes, never better, Jess"

And, she was feeling great till Jess reminded her, she needs to leave earlier for game night. The fear to mess things up, rises up once again, getting bigger each time the clock hands get closer to 8' clock, the moment of the truth approaches.

The entire world might see her like a natural leader, a vital member of any herd, but in reality, Lena has always struggled with socializing. She's a loner by nature, well, she was a loner till she met the blonde who comes with a pack. And, learning to interact with the other members of Kara's tribe is vital to their relationships, or at least, it's what Lena thinks while she decides to ditch work for the first time in her life, in order to practice for tonight's game.

"I wonder what Lena is doing…"

Flying around L-Corp building just to check on Lena is part of Supergirl's work routine. Observing the powerful CEO working is part of Kara's day, but finding an empty office and no trace of Lena in the building is not okay. For a brief second, the dear hero freaks out, fearing the worst. Kidnapped by Lex, by Cadmus? So many bad thoughts invade Kara's mind that she doesn't hesitate to speed up, when her super-hearing finds Lena's heart beat. She finally finds the dear Luthor, and to her surprise, she's safe and sound at her home, in the middle of her living room, playing games alone, to be precise.

"What are you doing?"

"Game night's training, darling"

Kara's eyes get bigger when the nickname used, only for Kara, is spoken. She's not the only one taken by the situation. Lena frowns as soon as she says such words without looking at the floating hero who's behind her, and who enters through the window like if she owned the place. Lena is frozen in time and space, gears in her brain turning, as the voice of the hero finally matches Kara's voice, perfectly.

"Lena, I…"

"You're Kara…"

It's not a question, it's a statement. A realization that for someone as smart as Lena, it took her too long to make. There were so many ways Kara wanted to come clean and yet, this scenario never was foreseen. Can she keep the appearance of not being Kara and Supergirl anymore? Lena has so many reasons to love Kara, but, are there as many reasons to still love her after this? Kara has no clue as she gulps hard, waiting for the fearest Luthor to turn around and look her in the eyes.

"Why did you keep this secret for more than a year?"

"W-well, because…"

Supers and Luthor are supposed to be enemies. Today, that's another story. Today, the blonde fears the consequences of revealing her secret too late, now that she has everything she dreamed. She must face her fears and be honest. Only being completely honest can ultimately secure a brighter future for them, but when Lena asks for an explanation well, Kara is not sure what to say.

"WELL?!"

"W-well, because I completely forgot!"

"You forgot?!"

Kara nods and she even dares to add that she forgot that she had forgotten to tell her about being Supergirl. Lena closes her eyes, she crosses her arms around her chest and tries her best to control her bad temper, but, this blonde is making it very hard. Does she think she's stupid or what?

"You told her you forgot that you had forgotten to tell her about being Supergirl?"

Kara sadly nods and Alex bursts laughing. It's game night and for a moment, everyone thought she was joking, but it's not a joke, which makes it even more funny.

"Alex, can you please stop laughing! It's not funny! Lena's mad at me!"

"Well, can you blame her?! From all the ways to go, you really know how to make it worse…"

The blonde pouts but her adorable pout is not going to get her out of this bad situation. The CEO didn't admit she hated her or something like that, but Lena definitely kicked her out of her penthouse and didn't come to game night, which is also not a good sign. Wondering what she has to do to make it better is how Kara spent the rest of the evening, during game night.

Inside jokes, knowing what your partner is thinking, that and more is what Lena wanted for them. For her and Kara during game night. Alex was always beating her in knowing Kara better than anyone else but, she was hopeful that sooner than later she would be the unique one to know everything about the blonde, everything… but now that she knows everything, she finds herself in an unexpected position.

She hates to admit it, but, finding out, Supergirl and Kara are the same person, it doesn't make her love the blonde any less. Their deep connection is still there. Can she have faith in them and believe they can overcome this? Just time will tell…

Lena needs time, but how long does she need? It's still hard to say. Kara wants her back, she wants the good times back, but she doesn't know how till she recalls the NatGeo documentary about lions she watched.

"A lioness Lena Luthor…"

"Do you like the title?"

"It flatters me, but I'm not a lioness, Kara…"

"What are you talking about, Lena! You're the hottest, fierce lioness in the world!"

Lena chuckles, it's refreshing to find out they can still have a nice conversation even after the fallout. The CEO did her best to avoid this interview, but in the end, she just couldn't say no to Kara. Maybe some things will never change.

The raven-haired woman continues working while hearing the rambling of the dear reporter who doesn't stop to compare her with the Queen of the jungle. It's nice to feel appreciated and the dear Luthor stays in a trance, hearing all the compliments and good qualities of her persona till the blonde poses like a lion and starts roaring. Lena immediately turns her head towards Kara and even if she fights against it, she smiles. Isn't she cute? Lena says to herself, but shakes her head, reminding herself that she's angry with the blonde.

"What are you doing, Kara?"

The dear reporter might be the cutest thing Lena has ever seen, but now, she needs to be more like a stud, the king of the jungle in front of the eyes of the dear Luthor and the entire world. She's sending a message that she's the perfect fit for a lioness Luthor.

"So, I guess your phase to act like a bear is gone?"

Lena asks, looking less upset and more amused…

"To be honest, I liked a lot Kara-bear, she was extremely cute"

Lena says with a smile, recalling all the bear hugs and cuddles she got from the blonde. It was adorable to have Kara-bear around, wanting to hibernate with her but once again, looking adorable is not what the blonde wants right now.

"I'm not cute, Lee! Lions are not cute! They are powerful! Magnificent felines! "

Kara roars, trying to look ferocious, but the only roar that catches Lena's attention, it's the one of her stomach, which is even more ferocious louder than her. Lena laughs so loud. Soon the reason to be upset is forgotten…

"Do not laugh, Lena! I can be scary like a lion!"

"Yeah, especially when you eat…"

"Lee!"

"What?! You grunt each time someone that's not me gets close to your food!"

"Well, that's normal! No one likes to share food!"

"And, somehow, I'm the exception?"

Kara nods with a big smile and just like that, Lena understands she's doomed. With hundreds of fitter males & women vying for Lena's attention over the years, somehow, a clumsy reporter had to become the perfect suitor for her. She might be Supergirl, but for Lena, she's and will always be just Kara.

So, she has a choice, flee or fight for this love. Lena stands her ground when she decides to provide food, like any lioness, for whom she has chosen as her mate. The blonde with a huge appetite that Lena adores to fulfill with the most exquisite food she can put her claws on.

"Let's get lunch, darling. Or, the roar of your stomach will not get quiet"

"Darling… I'm your darling again?"

"You never stopped being it…"

Kara chuckles, she blushes and once again, her cute attitude makes it even harder for Lena to stay upset.

The CEO is a completely devoted provider. She provides everything Kara needs, from food to protection even if the blonde doesn't need it, really. Lena's entire focus is on bringing to Kara anything that could make her happy just like a lioness who provides everything for the king of the jungle. But, it's getting harder and harder to look strong and powerful when Lena is constantly showing up as the alpha of the relationship. Something that doesn't help the blonde to look like the best lion in the world.

Like any lion, protection is the main quality to be a fine specimen but, if that's the case, then, can Kara Danvers protect more than Supergirl? Yes, she can. Kara might not see it, but she's a safe place for Lena, especially at night, when Lena struggles to sleep in the dark until Kara becomes her big spoon in bed. The dear Luthor hums, happy when she curls around the dear reporter.

"Lions, they're nocturnal by nature. Did you know that, Lee…?"

"No, I didn't know, darling"

"You're nocturnal too, Lee! You like to work at night!"

It's true that Lena is very sharp at night, just like most of the felines who embrace the dark. Contrary to Kara, who is constantly sleeping and snoring over Lena's sofa in the office, each night that she dares to keep company to a workaholic Luthor. So, yeah, Kara might not handle night as well as Lena but, tonight, all that Lena wants it's to sleep, but she will probably not get a good night of sleep, especially when the blonde looks at her like the most delicious piece of meat she could ever have. And, the blonde doesn't want to just eat her with her eyes.

"Ahmmm… Kara, your eyes are glowing like two flames…"

"Lee, did you know that lions can mate over 100 times a day?"

"Oh…"

A big O and so many more vowels escape from Lena's mouth when the blonde satisfies her cravings. And, do not get it wrong, Lena loves being intimate with the blonde, finally! She loves how Kara is constantly craving for her, but there's just so much the body can take. And, that's why one day, she walks in the DEO and says…

"Alex, we need to discuss your sister's stamina!"

"What?! Why?!"

The dear redheaded woman tries to walk away from this conversation, she really doesn't want to know that behind that goofy, innocent reporter, it's hiding a feline in heat, but she's not going anywhere since Lena is not giving her an escape hatch.

"Kara's big appetite doesn't only apply to food. Did you know that?"

"Oh, God! I really didn't need to know that! Please do not say another word!"

"Alex, this is serious! Leading a multinational company is ten thousand times easier than keeping up with Kara's stamina! I need to discuss this with someone. And, you know her anatomy better than anyone else, so help me, please!"

"Help you with what exactly? To bang my little sis non-stop?! I believe you're doing just fine without my help…"

Alex drops away the sandwich she was going to eat during her break. She just lost her appetite and that's exactly what Lena needs right now, to find a way to look less tasty in Kara's eyes but, that is just impossible. There's no one more mouth-watering than Lena Luthor and maybe that's a big reason Kara can't get enough of her. But…

"Kara, you need to give Lena a break…"

"What are you talking about, Alex?"

Alex is already regretting starting this conversation, but remembering how exhausted Lena looked the other day, she decides to keep going, even if she might need therapy after this.

"There's more than sex in a relationship, you know?"

"I know…"

"Then why don't you try to do more, other things?"

Kara frowns, she's not sure what Alex is trying to say, but thinking about it, she decides to follow her advice and that's how she ends inviting Lena to the fortress.

"So, what do you think?"

Lena has no words, from all the places they could go for date night, this one never crossed her mind and yet, it's a very welcome surprise. She's so curious to know more about Kara's culture and the dear hero is an open book. They spend hours talking, learning more about each other and then, Lena's curiosity reaches for an object that Kara doesn't recall very well.

"Darling, what does this do?"

"I… I'm not sure…"

It looks like a big egg, with engraved Kryptonian words around it. Both women get closer, trying to read what is written, so focus on understanding the main function of the device that they miss paying attention to what they touch, till they feel a little cut in their finger.

"Ouch!"

Neither of them could have predicted that the drop of their blood would put in motion the matrix.

"What is happening?"

Lena wonders when she sees the big egg machine making noises and lighting up. She waits for some kind of an explanation from the blonde, but all she gets it's to see Kara gasping with big eyes.

"Kara…?"

"It's the matrix!"

"Okay, and what does it do?"

"Babies!"

Kara says happier than ever and when the incubator settles the countdown, the blonde says with a big smile.

"We made a baby, Lena!"

"We… WHAT?!"

Kara announces the creation of new life and new fears rise in Lena's mind. For the next couple of months, this will be their top priority and soon they'll embark on the adventure of becoming a mom… a Mamma Pinguin.
