Racist's were annoying in any world, Weiss would certainly know that, and the rest of her team always made sure to remind her of her previous attitude. She didn't have a positive opinion of the faunus for the majority of her still relatively short life. It wasn't her fault per say, after all she had survived numerous assasination attempts, and had seen trusted family friends and bodyguards gunned down by White Fang terrorists.
There was a reason Weiss had distrusted them, she was a Schnee after all, and getting rid of her habits had taken a while, but she no longer treated the faunus like potential assassins, or criminals. Unless they were Sun Wukong who broke various minor laws as easily as he breathed, or the White Fang which was a given.
It's because of her experience that Weiss felt she could try to empathize with the Empire to see if they could change, until she was finally on the receiving end of such a person. It was more enlightening than Glenn's explanation of Nazism, first hand experiences always were.
"What the-" Weiss furrowed her eyebrows together, her eyes attached to her new phone's screen. Someone had recorded her conversation with the three idiots who had slapped her coffee out of her hands and posted it on PHO.
"-If you three want to spend the rest of the night in a cell I can gladly arrange that for you." The recording taken just a few feet away said. Whoever had recorded it had gotten Weiss' good side, which was every angle of course. The people here looked plain.
The rest of the comments was a dumpster fire, with numerous deleted comments and banned accounts from multiple Nazi sympathizers most likely. The rest were discussing how the 'Germanaboos' couldn't even come up with a response. There were always idiots and bigots everywhere it seemed.
At least this world and Remnant had something in common, aside from the languages and some foods, even if their cheeses tasted a bit off.
"Whatcha looking at there?" Victoria plopped onto the seat beside Weiss in the Wards living room, their couch to be precise. As much as Weiss enjoyed her privacy, she also didn't want to be alone in her room with her thoughts, which usually didn't end well.
"Someone recorded an incident from my debut patrol yesterday." Weiss answered, putting her phone away and sliding it into one of her dress' pockets. It was another red one, that fell just below her knees and had sleeves which made it more modest, especially when compared to the other red mini-dress she bought. The dress made Weiss feel like Ruby was with her, in some weird way.
"Oh cool, I saw that already." Victoria crossed her legs and turned on the television. She must've been waiting for Dean from wherever the bean boy was. The others were out, either on patrol or dealing with their personal lives, which sadly included Missy. Shadow Stalker was on the console, and Weiss didn't feel like dealing with the truant."They probably wanted a rise out of you since, well, you know." Victoria waved her hands around her face.
That much was a given, they would have succeeded if Weiss had anger issues, like Yang with her hair, but even a normal person wouldn't have escalated to violence over something as harmless as slapping one's coffee out of their hands, maybe.
"I don't doubt that." Weiss said dryly. It was a bit awkward, especially since she didn't really know Victoria, but she did Weiss a big favor in helping her go shopping. Being friendly with her would help out in the long run. "How's your sister?"
Amy Dallon didn't really seem to like her, with all the glares and staring when she thought Weiss wouldn't notice. Still, at least it was a simple conversation starter so it wouldn't be silent, leaving Weiss alone mentally.
"Oh! She's doing great! I just dropped her off at the hospital." Victoria grinned, leaning back against the couch as she flipped through the channels.
"And now you're here to see Dean." Weiss finished Victoria's train of thought for her.
"Actually, I'm here for you." That earned the blonde a confused look, and an eyebrow raise. Why would she be here for Weiss? Sure they had a passable time shopping for clothes, but it wasn't anything groundbreaking, like when Ruby blew up a month's worth of Dust when they first met.
"I see." Weiss turned her attention to the television where a short man in red with a mustache jumped on ugly turtles. "And why is that?"
"It's not everyday you meet a cape who's unmasked!" Victoria threw an arm around Weiss' shoulder, much to her annoyance. She turned her head to give the blonde a blank stare. "It can be hard making friends, since you'll never really know someone's true intentions at first. Believe me, I know."
That…hit too close to Weiss' heart.
"You're smarter than you look." Weiss smirked, turning back to the cartoon.
"Thank you!" Victoria beamed until her face dropped. "Wait, what does that mean?!"
"Don't worry about it."
Missy always looked forward to leaving school at the end of the day, and leaving home to avoid the arguing by going to Ward HQ. Before it was to do her duties as a Ward, and hoped to impress Armsmaster and Director Piggot enough to make her the team leader despite her age. And to make sure Dennis and Chris behaved themselves unless they wanted to face the fury of their couch pillows.
Now she enjoyed hanging out with Weiss. She was so cool and pretty in an unnatural way, kinda like those elves in Chris' fantasy movies. It felt good, having a girl on the team who she could talk to about…things. Missy finally had her person! Dennis and Chris had each other, Rory was too old and a bit of an ass, Carlos always tried keeping everything professional, and Stalker was Stalker.
And Dean, he had Victoria's claws dug into him with their constant breaking up and getting back together again.
Unable to contain the smile that grew on her face, Missy ignored the alarms as she walked into Ward HQ.
"Hey Weiss!" Missy went straight to the living room, where laughter seemed to be coming from?
"-my couldn't believe that I managed to stuff that burger in my mouth. I burned off the calories later after Rune decided to attack a synagogue, but I still felt it the next day when I had to use the-"
Victoria and Weiss were sitting on the couch, with a small smile on the white haired girl's face as Collateral Damage Barbie told some story. Missy froze, when she felt Weiss' eyes meet her own.
"Hi Missy. How was school?" Weiss said, interrupting the storytelling.
"Sup." Victoria turned around as well, showing off her perfect white teeth.
"It was fine." Missy forced a smile on her face.
Why did the good parts of her life never last long?

It's been a long time! I hope the update didn't disappoint. I've been enjoying RWBY Volume 9, which helped me start writing again.
Who would you like to see Weiss interact with in story?
Thank you for reading!
