The conference room was filled with silence, until Armsmaster raised his hand politely. Well, at least he waited, and followed Weiss' instruction.

"Yes, Armsmaster?" Weiss turned her attention from Dennis to the halberd hero. Perhaps she had been a bit too emotional when she played that video from Beacon's fall.

"It looks like an individual Grimm isn't too much of a threat." Armsmaster said, kept his voice even, clinical. "It appears to me that their main strength is in their numbers from what you've shown so far."

"That's true, however, even an individual Grimm depending on their species can be too much for a single huntsman, or cape." The larger and older Grimm could take on an entire team of huntsmen and huntresses.

"That would have to depend on the parahuman." Armsmaster fired back. "Against that dragon, most of the Protectorate ENE wouldn't stand a chance at killing it, surviving it would be on a case by case basis, the same as your claim about different species of Grimm. Different parahumans have different capabilities, the same as the Grimm."

Weiss nodded along. She always enjoyed discussions such as these, seeing other points of view. When she was younger, Weiss would sit in on Father's meetings with the board of directors, arguing. There was a lot of arguing now that Weiss thought about it.

"Alexandria's abilities are different from my own, and she has been able to send Leviathan flying with assistance. We have no idea if the Grimm from your world are as strong as the Endbringers, which hundreds of capes and parahumans volunteer to fight. While your people may have struggled against that dragon, in theory, any member of the Triumvirate should be able to kill it." Armsmaster continued his rant. "Of course since there are only three of them, they won't be able to be everywhere all at once, which is where the amount of Grimm come in. With the ability to unlock aura, your people have evolved in answer to their numbers. Aegis, Vista and Velocity for example, perform differently on the field. It seems to me that the powers granted by aura are mostly streamlined, which makes them predictable."

"That's also true." The only things that made huntsmen and huntresses unique were their weapons and semblances should they ever be unlocked. Armsmaster made a lot of good points, even if they needed to be verified.

"The differences in power of both our worlds cannot be compared, unless another session is used to see how aura performs against parahumans with different ratings." Armsmaster said simply. "Our worlds have evolved differently so-"

"I think we're going off topic here." Miss Militia spoke up this time. Even with her bandana covering her mouth, Weiss could tell she was smiling sheepishly.

"Miss Militia's right!" Assault shouted. "As fun as this is, I have things to do." He pointed his thumb at Battery who slapped his shoulder.

Armsmaster frowned, but remained silent.

"Very well, we'll have to continue this conversation at a later date." Weiss pressed her lips in a thin line and smiled. "Since we already discussed a little bit about aura, we'll move onto that next."

She tapped her scroll, which displayed 'The Losers guide to Aura' on the wall in bold white letters. Weiss had created this presentation with Ruby, as a favor for Pyrrha who had to help Jaune catch up on everything. Parts of it had to be changed though, to make it easier to understand with less context from Remnant.

"Aura is the manifestation of one's soul."

"And that should be all for today." Weiss turned off her scroll, the lights in the conference room turning on, nearly blinding her. Times like these made Weiss glad that her scroll was expensive, with the ability to charge using solar power. "Thank you all for coming today." She bowed her head slightly.

The 'class' had lasted longer than she expected, with more people asking questions after Armsmaster initial probing made everyone comfortable. The doors unlocked, finally allowing them to leave. Those PRT officials were the first ones to leave. Dennis jumped up from his seat, stretching comically as the others started to file out one by one.

"Finally!" He exclaimed, sauntering up the steps towards the exit, with Carlos, Chris and Dean who waved before leaving with the Protectorate, minus Armsmaster who was still in his seat. Vista stayed behind, walking in the opposite direction towards Weiss.

"You were great, Weiss!" Vista grinned. She was lying of course, the former heiress wasn't a suitable teacher.

"Thank you. Let's go get something to eat, I'm starving." Weiss smiled in return as they both made their way to the exit. After this she had a meeting with Glenn, who wanted to stick her in the studio to release an album within the next couple months or so. Apparently he wanted Edelweiss to dethrone some singer named Canary as the top parahuman performer, all for the glory of the PRT.

How annoying.

"You're thinking too hard, Colin." Dragon said playfully. Colin remained in his seat, as his brain worked overtime to process all of the information he had just learned.

"Not hard enough." Colin mumbled under his breath, finally deciding to stand up. As interesting as the history of Remnant was, Colin was more interested in aura, Dust, and those weapons that Edelweiss had briefly mentioned. "Their society is similar yet different when compared to ours, it's fascinating."

With aura being unlockable, the people of Remnant found their answer in combating the hordes of Grimm, with hordes of their own enhanced warriors. Except even all their soldiers, huntsmen and huntresses couldn't be everywhere all at once. If aura could enhance the strength of a human enough to easily be able to kill a Grimm, what could it do to a parahuman?

Strikers like Assault would no longer need to be aa careful when in combat, and brutes such as Alexandria would find their strength amplified. All in theory of course, Colin would need to know more information before coming to any conclusions.

"You should relax for now, maybe tinker a little." Dragon continued.

And then there was something else that Edelweiss mentioned. Anything that an aura-user held would be strengthened, turning it into a deadly weapon, she had used bread and fish as an example. The same must apply to their weapons.

If Colin had aura, by how much would the strength of his halberds multiply? Would they break as easily? Would they turn sharper? How did that work? Would aura work with tinkertech?

"COLIN!" Dragon shouted, pulling the bearded hero from his thoughts.

"Yes, Dragon? Did you say something?"

Dragon sighed softly. "Nothing."

Well that was weird.

A/N

This was originally going to be the interlude, but I decided to push that back a chapter, since it would be weird publishing this after said interlude.

Thank you for reading!
