I do not own Harry Potter, or anything to do with the Addams Family.

Hello guys, Badger here. Back with a second chapter. I'm glad to see people seemed to enjoy the first chapter and are looking forward to where this story goes.

After reading through the first chapter a couple times, I was able to plan out the second chapter and, after some back and forth with rewrites, I was able to finish it for everyone here to enjoy. So, I'll leave it there for now. I hope you enjoy and see I'll see you at the end.

Chapter 2

Meeting The Rest Of The Family

When Harry agreed to go to Brunch we've these strangers, he went to pick up his trunk. However, to his surprise the woman, Morticia, grabbed the handle on one end and lifted it up, dragging it away, with ease. That trunk contained everything he owned, it was quite heavy, so he had some minor difficulty carrying it. But Morticia was able to carry it, like it was weightless. He followed Morticia and Wednesday, to a nearby street, where they stopped at Packard V-12 from 1933. The American car felt massively out of place, considering how only the wealthiest people have cars like this in modern times. It made Harry wonder just how much money these people have.

"Lurch, do you mind putting Harry's trunk in the back of the car?" Morticia asked, gracefully

Harry wondered who she was talking to, until a man, who seemed to be as large as Hagrid appeared from nowhere. The discolouration of the mans skin and sickly appearance, reminded Harry of Frankenstein's Monster, which he had seen on books and in movies, whenever the Dursleys decided to watch a Horror movie. Lurch let out a small moan in response to Morticia's question and picked up Harry's trunk, where he moved to the boot of the car, to put it in.

"Morticia, dear, who is this?" Another voice asked

Harry turned to see two people waiting by the car. One was a short, bald man, who was wearing a black cloak, his skin was as white as snow and his dark eyes were surrounded by dark circles. The other, was a young boy, who seemed to be a similar age to Wednesday. If Harry had to guess, the boy was her brother. Unlike his sister, the boy was slightly chubby and wore a multi coloured jumper, with dark shorts and, whilst his eyes were just as dark, his hair was a dark brown and mousey.

"Uncle Fester, dear, this young man is Harry" Morticia replied "I've invited him to Brunch…the poor dear needed to 'get away' but isn't too sure what to do…I figured we could help him"

The man, Uncle Fester, looked to Harry, his eyes narrowing slightly. Harry shuffled on his feet, feeling a bit uneasy, as he felt like the man was staring into his soul, reading every fibre of his being. Must be a family thing, as Harry felt a similar feeling when Morticia first lay eyes on him. After a few seconds of silence, Uncle Fester gave a toothy grin, as he approached Harry, extending his hand for a handshake. Harry looked at his large hand for a moment, before he accepted the handshake, trying his best not to wince at the strength and vigour of the man's handshake.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Harry" He said "Welcome to the Addams Family…you can call me Uncle Fester and this strapping young lad behind me is Pugsley"

"Is that what they call it now?" Wednesday commented

"I heard that!" Pugsley glared

"You were supposed to" Wednesday replied, looking at Pugsley with an emotionless stare

"Children, please don't fight…not yet anyway" Morticia spoke up "We should be getting back, you know Grandmama doesn't like waiting, especially when it comes to family meal times"

Pugsley let out a small grunt, as he and Uncle Fester got into the car. With a gentle hand on his shoulder, Harry was led into the backseat by Morticia, where Wednesday got in after him. It was a tight squeeze, with him being squished in between Uncle Fester and Wednesday, but he chose not to comment. He didn't want to be a burden, especially after he was offered to have Brunch with their family. After Wednesday closed the car door, Lurch slowly entered the drivers seat, whilst Morticia got in, on the passenger side, before the car slowly pulled away from the pavement, with a slight jolt.

"So…your accents…I'm guessing you live in the United States?" Harry said, after a few moments of silence "Are you tourists?"

"No dear" Morticia let out a soft, gentle chuckle "Gomez, my husband, wanted a change of scenery…Britain has also been a place of intrigue for him and so, we moved here…we're currently living in a temporary home, until we can find a place that's…more to our taste"

"That, and father had ancestors that came from Britain" Wednesday spoke up "I guess he wanted to live where they once did"

"True dear, true" Morticia said from the front seat

Harry wasn't sure how long they had been driving for. It felt like hours. Most of the journey was done in an uncomfortable silence. Harry wanted to say something to break the uncomfortable feeling he had from how quiet the journey was, but whenever he tried opening his mouth, his voice died, unable to think of a conversation starter, so just spent the journey picking at his nails.

Thankfully, the journey eventually came to an end, when Lurch turned off the main road and into a dirt track, which went through an opening into a forested area. After a short, bumpy journey, the car came to a stop and Harry was able to exit the vehicle, sighing in relief, now that he wasn't being squished in the backseat. After stretching his limbs, he looked at the building in front of them. It was an old Victorian building. A building that must have been uninhabited for decades, for how run down it looked. The house itself, sat in the middle of a forest clearing, with nothing but trees to be seen for miles. The place was isolated, like the person who had the house built, wanted to be left alone from the rest of society.

"I sometimes wonder why father would want to find a new place" Wednesday said, beside Harry "This place is desolate and away from people…it's almost perfect"

Harry found himself unable to respond as Wednesday walked off, to the front door of the building, disappearing inside. He remained where he was for a moment, until he felt a familiar gentle hand on his shoulder, he looked up, to see Morticia smiling at him softly.

"Come, dear, if I'm right, Brunch will be ready soon" She said

Harry nodded and allowed himself to be guided inside the building. The dimly lit, dreary hallways reminded Harry of Grimmauld Place. It gave of similar feelings the old Black Family Home once did. Thinking about Grimmauld Place, made Harry think of Sirius and he found himself balling his hands into fists, to stop himself from yelling out in anguish, his nails digging into his palms, close to drawing blood, as his fists tightened.

"My love, you are back" A voice said, snapping Harry from his thoughts

Harry turned to see a man approaching. A man, Harry assumed to be Gomez. He was considerably shorter then his wife, by a good few inches. His slicked back hair, was jet black and he sported a, pencil moustache. He wore a black and white pinstripe suit, with smart black leather shoes and on his right hand, he had a fancy looking ring on his middle finger. Gomez gave his wife a few kisses on the cheek, until he realised Harry's presence.

"Who is this, it's not kidnapping season is it?" He asked, making Harry take a step back in shock, his hand ready to draw his wand, if things proved he needed to make an escape

"Don't worry dear, we had to end that tradition a long time ago" Morticia reassured Harry, noticing his defensive stance, before she turned to Gomez "This, my love, is Harry…I invited him for Brunch, the poor dear is in need of help and I figured we could be the ones to provide it"

"Of course we can" Gomez replied, jovially "The Addams Family will be happy to help anyone in distress"

"Morticia dear" A raspy voice called out "Are you home deary?"

"Yes, Mama dear" Morticia replied "We're in the main hall"

Harry listened, as someone approached, with each step followed by a small thud of something wooden hitting the floor. After a moment, an ancient looking later appeared from around the corner. Her face was covered in wrinkles and her dark eyes were surrounded in equally dark circles. Her hair was a greying silver, and went down to her lower back, the frizzy mess going in every direction possible. In her hand, she held a large wooden staff and she wore black dusty clothes, that looked so outdated, she would make the Weasleys look fashionable. If Harry was a regular Muggle, he would've believed the old woman was an actual hag from children's fairy tales.

"It's good to see you back deary" She smiled, showing her rotting, crooked, teeth as she leant against her staff, before she looked to Harry where her smile grew, as a look of intrigue crossed her face "And we have a wizard in our midst, I see"

Harry swallowed nervously, as he took another step back, his hand inching closer to his wand. He wasn't sure whether he should run or not. The elderly woman's declaration made Gomez freeze as he looked to Harry in surprise, whilst Wednesday, Uncle Fester and Pugsley appeared from nowhere and also looked at Harry in mild surprise. The only person who didn't seem surprised by this, was Morticia, who looked at Harry with an unreadable expression.

"I'm not a wizard" Harry lied, still thinking of a possible way to escape before anything happened

"I can feel your magic, child" The elderly woman said, closing her eyes and taking in a deep breath, before exhaling "And it smells powerful too"

"You're a wizard" Gomez said, getting over his shock, as he smiled brightly "Why didn't you say so?"

"I didn't know you guys were magical" Harry responded, still unsure on what to do "I thought you might be Muggles"

"Muggles, bah!" The elderly woman spat out the word, like it offended her "Many idiots would think so, just because we don't learn magic the same way they do…we don't go to fancy schools to learn our magic…our magic comes from our ancestors"

"Though there are schools for freaks and outsiders to help master their abilities" Wednesday commented, as she looked at Harry curiously

"Seems there's a lot that you need to explain Harry" Gomez spoke up, as he wrapped an arm around Harry's shoulders "Perhaps you can tell us everything, whilst we eat Brunch"

"Speaking of which" Morticia said, turning to the elderly woman "Grandmama, can I have a word with you in private, before we eat?"

The elderly woman, Grandmama, nodded, before she and Morticia disappeared into the nearest room, the door closing gently behind them. Keeping his arm around Harry's shoulders, Gomez led Harry into the dining area, where Harry sat down on one of the available chairs, where Wednesday sat next to him, looking at him with a curious gaze. When Grandmama announced that Harry was a wizard, her gaze never left him and Harry wasn't sure what to think about it. After a moment, Lurch ducked under the doorway and placed a bowl in front of Harry. His nose scrunched slightly, at the gooey mass inside his bowl. It was a grey colour and looked like it had bones and other bits of gristle inside it. He wasn't completely sure what it was, or what was in it, but he was too hungry to complain, so he grabbed a spoon and began eating.

Thankfully, it tasted better then it looked. After a few minutes, Morticia entered the room alongside Grandmama, where the two of them sat down. Morticia and Gomez had a quiet conversation between themselves, before Gomez cleared his throat, causing Harry to look up.

"So, Harry, my dear Morticia said you were in need of some help" He said "Does it have anything to do with the Wizarding side of the world?"

"Kind of" Harry sighed "Guess I should explain a few things…well, about fourteen years ago, there was this Dark Lord…he called himself Voldemort…he believed that only people who were classed as Purebloods should be allowed to have magic…anyone else should either be killed or enslaved…well, one day, he learnt of a prophecy…"

"A prophecy?" Grandmama interrupted, chuckling to herself "Prophecies are shaky at best and false at worse…so what was this prophecy?"

"A prophecy between myself and him" Harry replied "According to the prophecy, I am the only one who could defeat him, he tracked down my family to kill me before I grew up to do so…however, it went wrong, he killed my parents, but when he tried to kill me, his spell rebounded and he found himself being destroyed…but not completely, his body was only destroyed, his spirit lived on as a wraith"

"You're parents were killed…you poor dear" Morticia said, softly "What happened afterwards?"

"Because of everything that was going on at the time, I was placed in the custody of my Muggle relatives" Harry replied, frowning "It was for my safety, but I was anything but safe…they hated anything and everything to do with magic…which means they hated me too…I was nothing but a slave to them, a slave that was neglected and abused for any minor inconvenience…they worked me to the bone and I didn't even get any reward for it!"

"These monsters would dare to abuse a child!" Gomez growled, slamming a fist down on the table "Those bastards…brother Fester, do you feel like doing a bit of hunting?"

"Gladly brother" Uncle Fester smiled, as sickly smile "You don't even have to ask"

"Did you not have any other family who could have taken you in Harry?" Morticia asked

"A Godfather" Harry replied "However, he was falsely imprisoned, after he was framed…he was believed to be a follower to Voldemort, who gave him the location of where my parents were hiding, and was thrown in prison, whilst the true culprit escaped and remained hidden for years"

"The coward!" Gomez muttered, under his breath

"When I was eleven, I learnt that I was a wizard and learnt of the Magical World" Harry continued "It was overwhelming, because everyone knew my name…I was famous in their eyes"

"Why were you famous?" Pugsley couldn't help but ask, as he and Wednesday had been listening, intently, to everything Harry was saying

"Voldemort was known to kill anyone and everyone with the Killing Curse" Harry replied "A curse that caused instant death to those who were hit…no one has ever survived it…except for me…because of my mothers love and sacrifice, I was protected and was able to survive the impossible…because of this, they saw me as their saviour…that's when I started attending Hogwarts, a British Magical school for Witchcraft and Wizardry"

"Let me guess…things changed?" Grandmama spoke up, pointing her staff in his direction, giving him a knowing look

"You wouldn't believe how fast things changed" Harry gave a dry laugh "In my first year I learnt that Voldemort was still alive…ever since then I've been in mortal danger, in one way or another, risking my life for people…my Godfather even escaped prison to keep me safe…then last year, Voldemort was able to give himself a new body, after using my blood in some kind of ritual…and someone I saw as a friend, Cedric, was killed…I tried telling people that he returned, but no one believed me, they just saw me as insane and crazy and believed I killed Cedric myself…then I learnt of the prophecy…after being lured to a room full of prophecies I learnt about the prophecy between me and Voldemort, a prophecy that states one of use will need to kill the other…me and my friends then found ourselves surrounded by Voldemort's followers…we were saved by the Order of the Phoenix, an organisation that dealt with Voldemort and his followers…but my Godfather was killed"

"And that, for you, was the tipping point?" Gomez asked, having a hunch as to where Harry was going next

"I was angry" Harry nodded "Angry that my Headmaster, a man I thought I could trust, had been keeping me in the dark and when I learnt the truth, I lose my Godfather and the only chance of having a family…I just had enough…enough of the Wizarding World as a whole…I wanted nothing more to do with them…seeing as I keep risking my neck for them, yet get nothing in return…why should I have to be the one to save others when all I get is people who will turn on me like the flip of a switch…why should I be the one to save them when there are others out there, with decades of experience, who can do the job instead…after returning to my relatives for the holidays, I decided to pack everything up and leave…go somewhere far away…that's when your wife and daughter found me…though I wished I thought about it a bit more, because I'm not to sure what to do next…"

"You're welcome to stay with us, dear" Morticia spoke up, after a moment

"I…I don't want to be a burden" Harry replied, slightly surprised she would offer such a thing

"Nonsense, you're welcome to stay as long as you wish" Gomez said "It's a better alternative to those monsters you call relatives…whilst you stay with us, we can also help you with these problems of yours"

Harry looked down for a moment, thinking. He still wasn't sure about these people. There was a strange aura about them. An aura that screamed insanity. It made him slightly uneasy. However, he saw no ulterior motive. They seemed genuine in their offers to help. And Gomez was right, it was better then the alternative. Besides, he didn't really have any other options, if he refused.

"Thank you" He said, eventually, a small smile on his face

Dumbledore paced back and forth in his office. After Sirius' death, the Headmaster grew concerned with Harry. It was obvious, the death of his Godfather, was hitting the boy hard. The way the boy smashed up his office, which he had long since repaired, was evident to that. Dumbledore had allowed Harry to smash up his office, knowing he needed to vent out his anger, but not even that calmed the fire. If anything, it made the flames bigger. His temper grew and he became more snappy with everyone around him, including his own friends. Because of Dumbledore's concern, he had members of the Order of the Phoenix watching over 4 Privet Drive, to keep an eye on Harry, and make sure Harry didn't snap and attack his relatives, or run away.

His concerns and fears only became reality soon after. When it was Remus Lupins turn to watch over Harry, Remus' Revelio charm, only picked up 3 life signs, which were asleep. Making sure that he didn't wake up the occupants, Remus snuck inside the building, to search for any signs of Harry. Remus then became fearful, when he found that all of Harry's things were gone. Besides the furniture, the only thing in his room was a piece of paper. A piece of paper which had five words, written in Harry's signature, chicken scratch writing. It read:

"I'm Done And I'm Out!"

It didn't take a genius to figure out what Harry meant. He no longer wanted anything to do with the Wizarding World. This made Dumbledore panic slightly, as he pondered on what to do now. He had placed tracking charms around 4 Privet Drive after the Triwizard Tournament, just in case something happened and he had, foolishly, decided to take them down when his Fifth Year started, believing he could trust Harry to keep himself down. If he didn't, maybe he could stop Harry before he ran away. Harry was vital in the fight against Voldemort. As much as Dumbledore wished and hoped for another way, Harry's sacrifice was the only way to see that Voldemort was defeated for good. Now that the boy has run away to, only Merlin himself knows where, they needed to find him and quickly.

It was only a matter of time, until Voldemort learnt that Harry had run off. Dumbledore would need to have members of the Order searching every nook and cranny of Britain, but with no tracking charms to leave an idea as to where Harry went, their best hope was for Harry to use magic. The trace on his wand would kick in, where hopefully, they'll be able to find wherever Harry is hiding.

After Brunch, Harry had been summoned by Grandmama, to her private study area. Harry felt slightly nervous, as he entered her room and kept a hand on his wand, just in case anything happened. Her room was dark, though Harry could just about see a bed, along with stacks and stacks of books. In the centre, Grandmama was stirring something in a large cauldron, the sickly green liquid illuminated the elderly woman in an equally, sickly green light. She stopped stirring, when she saw him approaching, illuminated in the green light, giving him a toothy green. Because she was covered in a green light, the sight felt slightly ominous.

"You're probably wondering why I asked you to come here" She said

"A little bit" Harry replied, looking at the bubbling liquid in the cauldron

"My dear Morticia had some concerns when she first met you" Grandmama replied, as she scooped some of the liquid into a goblet "And, because of these concerns, she asked me to do something about it"

After scooping some of the liquid into the goblet, Grandmama slowly made her way around the cauldron, stopping in front of Harry, where she handed the goblet to him. Harry eyed the goblet, suspiciously, before looking back up to the elderly woman, expecting there to be some kind of ulterior motive, or catch. Grandmama just smiled in response.

"This won't hurt you, dear" She said "If I wanted to hurt you, I would have done as soon as I first lay eyes on you and believe me, I may be a frail old woman, but I move fast when I want to…now drink, it will help you"

Harry cautiously took the goblet with both hands and looked at the bubbly liquid inside. It was thick had, what looked like, small chunks of flesh mixed in. He grimaced slightly, and slowly drunk the concoction. Immediatley, he felt his throat begin to burn, causing him to drop the goblet in shock. The burning sensation spread to his entire body, before he felt intense pain in his forehead, like it was about to explode.

Then everything went dark.

And done. What do you think?

What was that concoction Harry drank? Not saying, you'll have to wait and find out.

When it came to writing this chapter, I decided to have Dumbledore learn of Harry's disappearance. I figured it would be better to happen sooner rather then later, considering Dumbledore would have people watching over him. Also, when writing this chapter, I got the idea of Morticia becoming a protective, motherly figure to Harry as time goes on, I feel like it would make an interesting dynamic and Harry will have the mother figure he deserved to have.

Also, it wasn't until I started writing these Authors Notes, I realised I forgot to include Thing in the chapter, because of this I will make sure he's introduced soon. That's all for now, if you have a story request, feel free to leave them either in the review section, or my PMs. I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you next time.
