It was a nice day in Elwood City, and Francine was going over some job openings online for anyone between 13-15. Francine declared, "If Catherine good apply for a job online, so can I." However, she got at least twelve job openings available in Elwood for anyone between 13 to 15. On her phone, she texted her bandmates:

Lunch at Sugar Bowl, after school.

While they were at school, they were gettting their books for history class when they bumped into the meanest girl in school, Portia Demwiddy. Muffy could remember the blonde meanie from the Little Miss Crocus paegent. Although she was feared by everyone at the school, the only ones who didn't fear her were her two cohorts. Aleena Piers was a red-haired skunk, and Riccarda Palerma was a black-haired cat, and they were both wearing expensive elaborate clothes.

"Look here, Portia," Aleena smiled. "Muffin Tops, Poison Fern, Freaksky, Artwerp, and Busted Buster."

"Hey, Portia," Muffy greeted. "I thought you were going to be at the audition."

"We didn't have time to audition for that old-timer Magical Mari," Portia replied rudely. "We were at Portia's family spa, Demwiddy Desert."

Muffy could recall that Demwiddy Desert was the most expensive spa in Elwood. She tried going there once, but refused when Portia's mother, Perri Demwiddy, couldn't allow her friends in.

Looking at Francine's list, Riccarda could see the job openings that are around town. "Port," Riccarda whispered, "looks like they're offering jobs to people."

"Why do they want jobs?" Aleena asked. "Don't you make money in the music buisness?"

"They do," Arthur replied, "but usually they play passionately. Small-time musicians usually have part-time jobs to pay off equipment and stuff."

"Whatever," Portia groaned. "We have better jobs than you."

"We do?" Aleena asked confusingly as Riccarda covered her mouth.

After the Summer Senations left, Portia told her cohorts, "Of course we have jobs. My mother has made us work for Demwiddy Desert as receptionist girls."

"Portia," Aleena whispered, "the Sucksations are going to apply for a few other places around town."

"Then will have to give the Sucksations a job rejection." Portia smiled as they started scheming.

After school, the Summer Sensations were going over where there going to apply. "Now here's the thing," Francine replied. "We gotta dress nice for the interview, we have to act mature, and we can't always get the hours we want."

"That's right," Buster replied. "Even if it doesn't pay enough, it's the best we can do."

Little did they know was that Portia, Aleena, and Riccarda were spying on them. While the Sensations were getting their meals, Riccarda swapped their list with a fake list she wrote. Then she ripped it and tossed it out.

When the Sensations came in, they saw that their list was replaced with Demwiddy Desert. Confused and desperate, they decided to take the jobs instead.

"Come on, girls," Portia said to her friends. "We got some fake phone calls to do."

The next day, the Sensations were at the elaborate and expensive Demwiddy Desert. It had furniture that is more than 1,000 dollars, paintings won at auctions, and food imported from Egypt. At the reception desk, Portia, Aleena, and Riccarda were waiting for their arrival and thei humiliation.

After Fern explained about their job list disappearance, Portia lied, "Too bad. I just hope you get these jobs."

"Think about the laughi-" Alena replied while Portia and Riccarda glared at her in anger, "I mean, money you'll get."

Thinking of the money they'd get, they decided to take it.

Meanwhile at Apartment E5, Magical Mari was beginning to worry about the Sensations.

Just then, a male labordor in trendy clothes came in. "G'day there," he greeted in an Australian accent. "I'm Carter Cartrough. I'm here to see my mom."

"Oh, yeah," recalled Buster. "Abbie's boy."

"Carter," Mari greeted.

"I'm interviewing for a job at Patrick's Chocolate," Carter continued. "Along the way I stopped at Chicken Lickin for supper, since you're having liver and onions again."

"Cut to the chase," Magical Mari said eagerly.

"The manager told me that he was suppose to let Cousin Fern and the rest of the Summer Sensations apply," explained Carter, "but called out sick. If I know Fern, she barely gets sick."

"If you think that's weird," Muffy added, "Mari and I went to see a new musical movie when the ticket person told us about the Sensations getting stuck at the Toronto airport. Afterwards, we got ice cream at Powerful Ice Cream and said that they were going on vacation in Hawaii. Finally, we ran into the owner of Meteor Comics saying that they were going to the Ellwood Kite Festival."

"Those are all lies," Carter realized. "We saw the Summer Sensations yesterday while they were rehearsing. There's no way on Farth five middle-schoolers would afford a Hawaiian vacation themselves, and the Elwood Kite Festival was last month. Plus, Muffy won first place with her silk kite."

Angered by the lies, Abbie and Carter had a strange feeling that Portia might be behind those lies. Magical Mari didn't know who Portia was. "Her mother owns Demwiddy Desert," Abbie explained, "the expensive spa. Years ago she and Muffy entered a beauty contest, and Portia's childish behavior got her kicked out."

"Has she ever matured?" Magical Mari asked.

"I'm afraid not," Abbie sadly answered.

Fearing that the Summer Sensations would get humilated, they decided to head over there immediately.

Twenty minutes later, they were arriving to the spa in a hurry. Luckily, someone else was on duty.

By the mud baths, Arthur and Buster were trying to get the mixture right. Unkown to them, Portia dumped earthworms into the mud. When Buster grabbed the mud mixture and opened it, he saw the worms and was amazed. Arthur, however, was grossed out and ran away. Portia needed to humiliate Buster somehow, so she tied his shoelaces togeter. Buster tripped and landed in the mud bath, making everyone laugh.

At the massage area, Francine and Muffy were trying to help a client get a hot stone massage. Unfortunately, they couldn't find the equipment needed to place the stones on the customer because Aleena stole them. Using their bare hands, Francine and Muffy took the hot stones but accidentally burned the customer. "Did you find it rare, medium, or well done?" Muffy asked.

"I find it 'well done' in a burnt way," growled the customer as he left.

By the facial area, Fern was doing the cucumber cream facial treatments. However, instead of cucumber cream, she unintentionally placed pickle sauce on a female customer. She looked in the mirror and screamed in horror. "I'm demanding a refund," she growled, making Fern cry.

By the sauna, Arthur, Buster, Fern, Francine, and Muffy were confused on what was going on. Just then, Abbie, Carter, and Magical Mari found them and explained everything. "Portia swapped our openings, lied to the places we're going to apply for, and is humilating us."

"Something like that," Carter answered sadly.

"We can't report this to Ms. Demwiddy," Muffy explained. "She's the general manger/owner and will be mad at us, and always pins her daughter's mistakes on other patrons."

"After she blaimed the Little Miss Crocus beauty paegent for making her daughter lose," Francine recalled, "the Demwiddys got banned for life."

They all thought all hope was lost, but then Muffy remembered that Portia was a gifted ballet dancer.

Ten minutes later, Portia, Aleena, and Riccarda were celebrating their victory when Magical Mari came in. "Are you Portia Demwiddy?" she asked Portia.

The three girls were annoyed that Magical Mari was here. "Listen here, old-timer," Portia growled. "You're so mid-80s, we're the new trend in celebrities."

"Exactly," Magical Mari replied. "Your mother requested that you and your friends entertain the spa patrons now."

In the spa room, Portia noticed many patrons minded there own buisness. With a big smile, she shouted, "Attention, everyone! For your entertainment, I will be dancing in the moonlight!"

The crowd was more disturbed than pleased by her performance. With one leap, Portia acidentally landed in the worm infested mudbath. Everyone laughed. "So what's the trick here?" Buster asked.

"Never perform at a spa," Magical Mari answered. "You might slip on the slippery water and embarrass yourself."

Aleena and Riccarda helped Portia up, only to be stopped by two spa workers. They were Ms. Demwiddy's Swedish imports, Lykke and Linnea, who were both rabbits.

"Shouldn't you two be fixing up the nail polishes?" Portia asked.

"We just did them," Lykke answered.

"And wait until your mother hears about this," Linnea growled to Portia.

Taking Portia's freshly moisturized hands, they dragged her to her mother's office. Riccarda and Aleena, on the other hand, fled to avoid more troubles.

"Are you guys okay?" Carter asked.

"We're fine, Cousin Carter," Fern answered. "We've tried to look for a job, but it looks like this was a public humiliation set up by Portia."

"I'm looking for a job too," Carter replied, "Isn't there a place near the arcade where they make chocolate?"

"You mean Patrick's Chocolates," Buster recalled. "We go there all the time, ever since Mr. Ratburn married him."

"He'd even taught us once how to make our own candy," Muffy recalled.

"Hey," Arthur interrupted, "If he can help us, maybe we can help him."

Later that day, they were interviewing Patrick for working at his chocolate shop. Patrick could remember meeting his husband's students for the first time. Five years ago, Arthur, Francine, Buster, and Muffy thought Mr. Ratburn was marrying someone else, so they decided to pair him up with Ms. Turner. Patrick gave them some chocolate so it could make them fall in love, which he doubted on. Unfortunately, wedding preperations and Muffy's poor writing the time backfired. During the wedding, they learned the truth that Mr. Ratburn was gay and in love with Patrick, much to their joy.

"Let me get this straight," Patrick said. "You guys want to work here so you can pay for band equipment?"

"Yes," answered Arthur, Muffy, Francine, Ferb, and Buster.

"For me," Carter replied, "I have to pay for my own phone and future trips."

"Planning to visit your dad in Australia?" Fern guessed.

"You know it, cuz," Carter answered.

"Okay," Patrick smiled. "You guys start tomorrow."

Everyone cheered.
