Chapter 26: Sweet payback
The gang were now back at the Narava Academy, and they plan on staying there for a few days before heading back out on their field trip. In the meantime, Ash decided to let his students handle themselves should they come across any snobbish students trying to challenge them, as he knew that they grew overtime and that they may be able to defeat their rivals.
Sure enough, the snobs were back and taunting and insulting his students, but this time, they were ready.
It started when Zeke was getting his flute for music class, but all of a sudden, one of the snobs ripped the instrument right out of his hand and began to play catch with it along with his fellow friends. Zeke didn't say anything, but rather had his Fidough fetch it back for him.
"Hey, who said you can do that!? You were supposed to get upset!"" The snob yelled, angered that his plan had failed as he saw Zeke putting his flute back in his backpack. "I don't have time to interact with Neanderthals like you" He said simply as he proceeded to his class, but the posse blocked his way, now Zeke was starting to get irritated, and he sent out his Azumarill.
"Azumarill, teach these jerks a lesson and use Aqua Tail" Azumarill grinned as his tail glowed blue and he swung it at the crowd, making them fall down like bowling balls. Nobody else in the hallway really cared as Zeke returned his water mouse and continued on his way.
Elsewhere, Thomas was in chemistry class with his Shroodle, carefully pouring the chemicals into their respective vials and wrote down the results on his paper. Shroodle then handed him his goggles before they began to mix the chemicals and stir the concoction carefully. Soon, there was a chemical reaction, and it began to fizzle like a soda.
"Nice!" Thomas said to himself, and then wrote down the results. Behind him were a couple of snickering kids that had a devious idea. They mixed some chemicals which began to fizzle like a soda fountain and placed it near Thomas. They then quietly went back to their table and waited for the fireworks.
However, Thomas' Gastly used his Psychic to place the fizzling vial back to their table, and it exploded right on time. The kids screamed in shock as they were confused as to how their prank failed so badly, and of course, the chemistry teacher yelled at them for making a mess.
Over with Vanny, she was at the gym training her Pokemon further, where some other students were also practicing. One of the students sneaked up to her and pushed her to the floor, laughing all the while. However, Vanny's Orthworm glared daggers at him and smacked him away with his tail.
Then there was Carla, who was at swimming class, and was in the locker room drying off. Students were planning on lacing her shorts with itching powder. However, her Wiglett was on guard duty and sprayed the pranksters with Water Gun and made them run away.
Gus was going through the library and seeing the amount of Pokemon found in Paldea and wondered what's his next team member. "I would like a new team member, maybe a flying type, but what flying types evolve through evolution stones?" He was with his Bellibolt at the time and he was unaware of a snobbish student that snatched the book he was reading and making a run for it.
Ticked, Gus sent his Bellibolt and he proceeded to shock him just in time for Gus to get the book back and walk away.
Then there was Felia, whom was in Biology and learning more about bug types with her Rellor and Vivillon. She suddenly felt someone flick her in the back of her head, and they were known to be the immature ones. As they laughed on with their little game, Felia tried to pay attention, but eventually, she lost her patience.
"THAT'S IT!"
She turned tail got into a fight that was immediately broken up by Professor Jacq. He was all too familiar with incidents like these, and often had to play peacekeeper to stop fights.
Ash sighed as he was now in a meeting with Professor Jacq, he knew that his students may get into trouble, but it was still shocking for Felia to be involved, it was more likely for Gus or Vanny to do get into a scuffle.
True Ash believes that bad things happen to bad people, but he thinks that it shouldn't have to involve violence, he would resort to such actions when he was younger, but he had grown over time and now has a different mindset.
"Ash I'm not sure Felia can stay in my classroom, no matter what I do these kids never stop pestering her" Jacq said with regret in his face. "Kids will be kids, there's always a bully, whether we'd like it or not" Ash said and Pikachu repeating him.
"Yeah but this has been going on for at least 5 months, and Felia has gotten into at least 9 fights, we gotta do something about this" Ash thought about it for a second, until he got an idea, and a smirk grew on his face.
"I think Ash might be crazy" Jacq said to Clavell.
Ash had his students face off against their bullies, and they looked ready for a fight. The snobbish students all had looks of confidence on them, as they all have a chance to prove that they were superior, and that is exactly how Ash wants them to feel before they feel the true power of his students.
His students sent out their aces: Orthworm, Bellibolt, Clodsire, Fidough, Rellor, and Dondozo. The snobs all sent out their own Pokemon: Ampharos, Abomasnow, Dragonair, Brambleghast, Ceruledge, and Mismagius.
The battle began, and the snobs were taken aback by how much stronger Ash's students grew. Bellibolt managed to withstand a Dragon Tail attack by Dragonair, which activated his Electromorphosis ability, which then went into powering his Spark attack, dealing massive damage to Mismagius. Mismagius managed to confuse the elefrog Pokemon with Confuse Ray, but Fidough managed to jump onto her and held on with Bite.
Ash smiled as he saw that his lessons and training sessions have bore fruit, they were now stronger and were able to stand up for themselves now, he almost shed a tear in happiness.
Orthworm was smacking away Ceruledge with Iron Tail while winding and twisting around his opponents and blocking ineffective attacks, blocking Abomasnow's Ice Punches, allowing for Rellor to fire Sludge Bombs at any aggressors. Dondozo was using Wave Crash to wash away any opponents that get too close, with Clodsire using his spikes to defend himself from Brambleghast ramming into him.
Fidough was using Work Up to boost his power and Growl to weaken his opponent's, before dealing massive damage to Dragonair with Play Rough, knocking him out with one swift stroke. Dragonair's trainer was utterly shocked, how could a puny puppy defeat a mighty dragon so easily?
Ampharos was firing Thunderbolts at Rellor, whom was rolling on his mud ball at high speeds, easily avoiding the lightning blasts and using Rollout to make hit and run attacks against his foes. Clodsire was firing Mud Bombs to blind their adversaries, and then smack attacks aside by using Poison Tail as a sort of tennis racket.
Abomasnow activated a Hailstorm with his Snow Warning ability at the start of the battle, and this ended up with his Blizzard attack being quite accurate, and freezing Bellibolt. Thankfully, one of the snobs thought it would be a good idea for his Ceruledge to attack the frozen frog with Bitter Blade. This was a big mistake, as the attack melted the ice and freed Clodsire, whom immediately retaliated with Poison Jab, poisoning the ghostly soldier.
Eventually, one of the rivals got impatient and had Ampharos use Discharge, in an attempt to knock out all of the students' Pokemon at once. However, in his frustration, he also caused his partners' Pokemon to take damage, and even cause Mismagius to faint.
Things got worse as Fidough landed a Bite attack on Brambleghast, knocking him out as well. The snobs dropped like flies until finally, Dragonair was defeated, the last of the snobs' Pokemon.
The snobs were utterly flabbergasted as they saw what they believed as inferior. "I think that settles it" Ash said "Now, if I see you bothering my students again in the future, I won't be as lenient as I was" The snobs got the hint, and they ran off.
"Wow Ash, you really taught these kids well" Jacq said with a smile on his face. "Clavell was right, I am a great inspiration" Ash said while munching on a burger he made for lunch.
"Let's just hope they don't get involved in any more scuffles, unless it's a Pokemon battle" Jacq then said, to which Ash replied with "I can most certainly agree with that."
He then saw his students resting their Pokemon at the center and talking to each other, well spirited after their combined victory. They were definitely going far under his wing.
