"I'm not done with you yet, Princess," he said as he turned her so that she was lying on her stomach and kissed his way down her spine. His hands skimmed down her sides until he reached her waist. He grabbed her hips, pulling her until she was bent over the edge of the bed. A hand went between her legs, stroking the flesh there.
"Oh, Yero," Elphaba whimpered, still weak from her earlier orgasms.
"Yes, Princess?" He asked as he kissed the cheek of her buttock, while his hand squeezed the other side. His teeth grazed her skin as he increased the pressure on her clit, and she moaned again.
He ground his hard cock against her thigh as he continued to stroke her clit, her moaning music to his ears. She shuddered and he slowed down. No, he did not want her to come, not yet. He increased his intensity and then slowed down again, each time inching her to where he wanted her to be. She gripped the bedsheet, twisting it while she raised her hips.
Fiyero lined the tip of his cock to her entrance and entered her, and the involuntary arch of her hips and the moan that she gave almost made him lose control. He grabbed her hips, thrusting in and out, hitting her sweet spot over and over again.
"Faster.. yes," Elphaba whimpered as Fiyero obliged, and she pressed her mouth against the pillow to muffle her moans as she touched herself.
There was a soft knock on the door.
"Mama? Papa?"
Fiyero groaned.
"Yero! That's our daughter!"
"I'll see what she wants." Fiyero sighed as he pulled out of his wife regretfully.
Elphaba heaved herself from the bed and looked at his hard-on. "Like this? I don't think so."
"I'm coming, Nor," she said as she put on a robe and quickly ran her brush through her hair.
She opened the door to their suite.
"What is it, sweetie?"
"Am I disturbing you, Mama?"
"You'll never disturb me," she replied with a smile. "Come in. You can't sleep?"
Nor nodded as she sat on the couch. "Can I ask you something, Mama?"
"Sure."
"How do you know that Papa is the one?"
"The one?" She teased her daughter.
"Mama! You're laughing at me."
Elphaba laughed as she patted her daughter's hair. "Alright. I'm sorry. So what do you want to know about Papa being the one."
"How did you know that Papa is the one? That he won't hurt you? That he won't dump you for someone else when you're old and no longer beautiful?"
"Oh, he better not."
"I better not what?" Fiyero came out of the bedroom. Elphaba could see from his wet hair and face that he had just taken a quick shower.
"Will you still love Mama when she is old and no longer beautiful, Papa?"
Fiyero sat down next to his wife. "I will still love Mama when she is old. As for beautiful, she'll forever be beautiful to me."
"No one will remain beautiful forever. Mama's hair will turn grey. She'll get wrinkles. She'll lose her teeth."
"But your Mama will still be beautiful in my eyes. Her beauty is not just physical. There are other things that make her beautiful - her kindness, her love, our family, the experience that binds us together. Why are you asking these questions?"
"Nothing." Nor looked at the floor.
"Yero, why don't you go for a walk?" Elphaba suggested.
Her husband looked at the clock. "At this hour?"
Nor grabbed her mother's hand. "Mama, it's alright. I'll go back to my room." But Elphaba placed her hand on top of her daughter's.
"It's alright. He needs to exercise anyway."
"I was working up a sweat just now," he mumbled to himself.
"Did you say something, Yero?"
"No, nothing. I'll go for a walk."
Elphaba turned back to her daughter when the door was closed behind him.
"So where were we?"
"How long did it take for you to know that Papa is the one? I know that it was an arranged marriage, and you did not meet him until you were married."
"It's true. We didn't meet until our wedding day, but it does not mean that he could not be the one."
"But how long did it take for you to know? Is it days or weeks? I was born quite soon after you got married, am I right? How will I know?"
"Nor, is there someone that you are interested in?"
Nor looked down. "I don't know, Mama. How will I know?"
"My dear girl." Elphaba hugged her daughter. "For me, it was not love at first sight. Not on second sight either. Your Papa and I are very different, but we give and take. We tried to understand each other, and we communicated instead of keeping things to ourselves. It's an accumulation of our daily interactions and then one day I just realised that I can't do without him. And even then, there are days where I get angry, really angry with him. And I'm sure that not every day is a day in paradise for him too. And most likely, it will be the same for you. Not everyone can have love at first sight."
Nor thought about it for a while. "Thank you, Mama." She hopped off the couch. "Can you don't tell Papa about this?"
She nodded. "I'm sorry I can't advise much. Is there something that is in your mind?"
Nor shook her head. "Maybe another day, Mama."
Elphaba nodded again. "Please know that I'll always be here and that you can come to me whenever you want to talk to someone."
"I will, Mama." Nor hugged her mother. "Goodnight, Mama."
Fiyero came back to the room after Nor had left.
"How's everything?" he asked.
"Good."
"Anything that I should know? Did someone bully her?" He pulled her from the couch and walked with her to their bedroom.
Elphaba shook her head. "Just girls' talk." She closed the bedroom door behind them. Fiyero grinned when she pushed her robe off her shoulders and let it drop to the floor. It reminded him of the first time she took off her dress in front of him. Elphaba wrapped her arms around him and kissed him, her tongue sweeping against his lower lip.
"And now, we have some unfinished business to do."
It was a sunny day when Elphaba first went to Red Windmill, the village near Kiamo Ko. Fione had thought that it was a good idea for Elphaba to visit the village.
"You can take the opportunity to visit the seamstress too. She has so many beautiful fabrics in her shop for you to choose from." Her mother-in-law had looked so excited when she talked about the clothes as she rattled on about the clothes that she had made there; Fiyero had cancelled the seamstress' earlier appointment to the castle when Elphaba's bruises did not heal on time.
The marketplace was bustling with activities when they went there. There were stalls selling groceries and necessities, and the stall owners were hawking their wares and shouting to attract the attention of customers.
Some of them noticed the prince, and they approached them and bowed.
"This must be the new princess," one of them said.
"Yes. This is my bride - Princess Elphaba." Fiyero wrapped his arm around her shoulder and smiled at the villagers. She did not feel like a princess at all.
The words spread around, and more and more people came to the market square and crowded around the couple, kissing their hands and giving their wishes. They spoke their wishes aloud, blessing the royal couple and wishing that they would have a blissful marriage, that they would be blessed with many children. There were smiles all around, even laughter, and Elphaba found herself smiling at the openness of the people. There was a kid, his skin darker than the rest, who darted up to them through the crowd and offered a garland of flowers to Elphaba.
"From my parents." The boy pointed to a shop selling flowers nearby, his fairer-skinned parents waving from their stalls.
The crowd finally cleared after a while.
"They have been eager to see you since they knew that you are coming," Fiyero explained as he opened the door to the seamstress' shop for her. "It has been a long time since there's a royal wedding at Kiamo Ko."
Elphaba glanced at him. She was still not used to someone holding the door open for her.
It had been a week since she met Avaric and Sarima, who seemed to be joined at the hips - they were always together, always touching each other. She had also met Tibbett and Crope. These were the friends who grew up with Fiyero, who were so close to him that they had their rooms in the castle because they came over and stayed over so often.
Fiyero could no longer keep her company throughout the day. He had work to do; he had been helping his father in running the tribe since he was twelve, learning the ropes so that he would be ready when the day came for him to take over. She spent her days in the library, reading up on whatever she could put her hands on before her teacher arrived. There were so many books in the library, and she wondered how long it would take for her to go through all the books that she was interested in. Time passed quickly when she was reading, and more often than not, she would only realize that the day had gone when it was too dark to read or when Fiyero came to look for her because she did not turn up for dinner.
She had only been in Vinkus for two weeks, but she had noticed a change in Fiyero. Gone was the man who was constantly touching her, and bold in his interactions. In his place was someone gentler in his interactions, his words softer. He no longer touched her hair or caressed the back of her neck. He has also stopped kissing her. Sometimes he would just wrap his arm around her shoulders when they had company. He still applied the ointment on her back every night in the privacy of their room, his fingers gentle on her skin, but that was all he did. He no longer caressed her skin or kissed her neck, and she missed that, even though she knew that she shouldn't. He still slept on the couch.
"Good morning, Your Highness." The seamstress bowed. "I've been expecting you."
The seamstress served them some cakes and tea. They chatted a bit about her work, and what's in fashion, and then she asked Elphaba to take off her dress so that she could take her measurements.
"Do I have to?" The seamstress back in Munchkinland had taken her measurements with her clothes on. Maybe the glare she had given then had helped.
"Of course. The measurements will help in making fitting clothes for you. I assume that you'll want some riding clothes too."
It was Fiyero who answered.
"Yes, we are planning to go riding. There'll be parties too. She'll need a few sets of everything." He put his tea down and stood up. "She's not used to taking off her clothes in front of strangers. Why don't you tell me the measurements that you need and I'll take them for you?"
"Now that's so refreshing. Sometimes I think the girls here are too modern and too daring. Some of them will come in asking me to mend the dress that they are wearing, and they will just sit outside the door and chat with their friends in nothing but their shifts!"
The seamstress ushered them into the room and pulled the curtains close after instructing Fiyero on the measurements to be taken.
There were three mirrors inside the room, reflecting her handsome husband who was standing behind her. With the door closed, the noise outside was cut off suddenly, and it felt like they were all alone. She wondered if he would touch her skin when she took off her dress, on the pretext of taking her measurements. Maybe he'd hold her waist, or cup her breasts again as he kissed her neck. The thought of him touching her intimately set her heart racing.
She reached behind her, ready to undo the first button, but Fiyero stopped her.
"We'll do it with your clothes on. I'm sure that the clothes will turn out great even when your measurements are an inch or two off."
It was evening by the time they went back to the castle, their arms full of the bags of gifts and things that they had bought. They were greeted by one of the servants at the door who informed Fiyero that his parents had just come down for dinner.
"Would you like to join them?" he asked Elphaba, and she nodded; she could not think of a reason not to.
Fione Tiggular dominated the conversation, asking Elphaba about her day and the clothes that she had tailor-made.
"Have you chosen a horse for her?" His father suddenly spoke.
A horse?
"No, I haven't. I thought that I'll let her make her own choice. I heard that new horses are coming next week. Maybe she can take her pick from there."
The king grunted in agreement.
They went back to their room after dinner. There was no one around, and the place was silent. Fiyero glanced at his wife and he wondered what was on her mind. He wondered if she was still heartbroken from the fact that she was tricked by her father. A father was supposed to take care of his daughter, but it seemed that his father-in-law did not care about his eldest daughter from day one. His father might be firm with him, but Fiyero knew that his father had his well-being at heart. He did not know how to console her. He wondered if she blamed him and his family for arranging the marriage. After all, she would still be in Munchkinland, living with her sister and Nanny, if his parents had not proposed a marriage between the two families. There were so many times when he wanted to pull her into his arms and tell her that everything will be alright, but the thought that she'd be repulsed by his touch held him back.
Elphaba had only written once to Nessa since she arrived. There was nothing to write about. But she sat at the table and tried to write briefly about her day in the village.
"So will I be getting my own horse?" She asked as she slipped her letter into an envelope. The servants had cleaned the room when they were out. The bed was made, and she sat on it.
"Yes. Everyone in Kiamo Ko has their own horse, or maybe two. Vinkus is big, with open land everywhere. There are hardly any roads, and the easiest way to move around is by horse. Horse riding is part of our lives. Most Vinkun children can ride a horse by the time they can walk. With a horse, you can go to more places. I can show you around once you got your own horse."
"Aren't you afraid that I'll run away again?"
Was she still planning to run away?
"You'll run away if you want to, with or without a horse of your own." There was something in his voice and she looked at him, but he looked away, looked around as if he was looking for something.
"What are you looking for?"
"The ointment. Maybe we should start you with one of my horses so that you can start getting used to horse riding. Once you have your horse, you'll most probably be riding almost every day. It's a good way for you and your horse to get used to each other. It'll be good if the bruises heal before then."
He soon found it, and he gestured for her to sit on the chair. He unbuttoned her dress, and the thought that he'd be touching her gave her the tingles from head to toes. Oz.
She suddenly thought of Sarima, and how beautiful she was.
"Can Sarima ride well?"
"Of course."
"Are you in love with her?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Avaric said you'd marry her if you have the choice."
"And you believe him?"
She thought of the way Sarima moved and talked. Her confidence. The way she dressed to flaunt her figure. It was obvious that Avaric could not keep his eyes and hands off her. It didn't take a genius to notice that Fiyero was not comfortable when she was around. There was no reason for Avaric to lie.
"She's very beautiful. "
He answered after a while, his voice softer. "Every boy wants to marry Sarima at least once in his lifetime. She's every man's fantasy. She's like Vinkus - wild, beautiful, untameable."
"You are in love with her. "
"I always know that I have obligations to fulfil as a Tiggular. And she'll never be tied down to anyone. "
She felt something twisting inside her, like a pair of scissors.
He closed the container. "I'm done." He reached out to button up her dress, but she stood up and turned around. Her hand let go of the dress and it dropped to the ground, pooling around her legs.
"What do you think you are doing?"
She sucked in her breath at his statement.
She knew that they did not have a say in this marriage, but his words were like a knife, twisting in her guts.
"I guess I'm not beautiful enough, not beautiful like Sarima."
"What does this have to do with Sarima?"
She felt like a fool, offering herself to someone who was obviously in love with someone else, and she bent down to pick up her dress, but Fiyero caught her wrist.
"No, I don't mean that. Elphaba, I'm sorry. I know that there's no love between us. I'm sorry that you're tricked into coming here and marrying me. I'll be upset too if my father did something like that to me. You don't have to do something that you don't want to. You have time. I'll give you time. I won't force you against your will. If things didn't work out between us, you can take other lovers. It's not uncommon here, though discretion is advised. " He heaved as if it took him a great deal of effort to say those words.
"I respect your decision. " He raised his hands and backed off.
"You respect my decision." He nodded.
"You'll give me time. " He nodded again. His eyes slipped to her naked body and then up again quickly, blushing when he realised that she had noticed it.
Elphaba took a deep breath and stepped out of her dress until she was standing just in front of him in nothing but her underwear.
"Kiss me," she said, her heart hammering.
"What?"
"Kiss me." And when he did not react. "Forget - " and then he pulled her to him without warning and crushed his lips against hers. It was just like what she remembered, the warmth that washed over her. He kissed her again, parting her lips and slipping his tongue inside. He kissed her until her toes were tingling, until she was gripping the collar of his shirt and her other arm was wrapped around his neck. He gripped her hair and pulled her head back, exposing her neck and he sucked gently on the skin there. His hands went to her hips and then he suddenly stopped.
"Are you sure this is what you want?" He asked.
Elphaba chewed her lip. Was this what she wanted? She nodded.
"Do you want me to touch you? Because I want to. Very much."
She took his hand and placed it on her breast. The prince broke into a smile and he kissed her again, a hand cupping her breast while the other hand went to her waist and pulled her to him. He walked backwards until he hit the edge of the bed and sat down, pulling her into his lap. He thumbed her nipple until it peaked before he kissed her other breast until she moaned. He then lay her on the bed and settled between her legs. He kissed her again, his fingers running through her hair.
"Fiyero?"
He raised his brows.
"I, I don't know what to do."
Fiyero smiled, and he kissed her again.
"You don't have to do anything. Just sit back, relax and enjoy. Let me know what you like. Let me know if there's anything that you are not comfortable with. There may be some pain or discomfort, but I promise that it won't last long."
She bit her lip and nodded.
He smiled at her again before he lowered his head and grazed against her jaw and kissed her neck.
"You're beautiful, " he said as he sucked on a nipple as his hand went to her stomach and then between her legs. She moaned as he stroked her velvety folds through her panties and his mouth moved to her other breast, and he kissed down to her stomach before parting her legs and kissing her inner thigh.
She shivered and raised her hips subconsciously. Fiyero growled, and he nipped her skin playfully.
The prince took off his shirt and he kissed her lips again. He tugged at her panties until they came off and he continued to touch her between her legs, increasing the pressure. She whimpered and wrapped her arms around him. It felt so good. It felt like his hands and lips were everywhere and Elphaba closed her eyes as she shivered again.
"Fuck. You're so wet," he muttered into her ear and she squeaked and pushed him away.
"Elphaba?" She squeezed her thighs together and drew her legs to her chest. "What's wrong?" She shook her head.
Fiyero exhaled. "It's alright if you don't want to continue." Perhaps he was going too fast. He wanted to kiss her to let her know that he was not angry, but he was afraid that he would scare her instead. He picked up his shirt.
"I'm sorry. I, I don't know why… I'm too wet."
"What?"
"I don't know why it's like that. It happened the last time too. I can't help it."
"The last time?" Did she have other lovers?
She nodded, biting her lower lip. "The first night, when you applied the ointment on me, and then you …. I don't know what's wrong with me."
Fiyero could see that she was almost on the verge of tears, but he could not help but laugh.
He sat on the edge of the bed next to her.
"You think that something is wrong with you?"
"You said that I was too wet."
He could not believe his ears. "I said that … Did anyone tell you what will happen on your wedding night?"
She nodded. She did not remember much, since she was not paying attention when Nanny was speaking; she was busy planning her escape. But she remembered Nanny had told her that her husband would grope her for his pleasure. Nanny had warned her about the stabbing pain.
"Did you like what I was doing? The way I touched you? The way I kissed you?" he asked. "It's alright if you don't like it."
There was a feeling between her legs just by thinking about it and she blushed. And she nodded.
He kissed her gently.
"Elphaba, when a woman likes the way she is being touched, her body will react. The moist, it's natural. There's nothing wrong with it. It's the way the body prepares for what comes later. You'll feel uncomfortable if you're too dry."
The stabbing pain.
"I was not complaining when I said that you're wet." He ran his hand through his hair. He never expected that there would come a day when he had to explain sex to his partner. It was never a taboo topic in Vinkus, but it seemed that it was different in other cultures. "I like to talk when I made love to a woman. I'll talk less if you don't like it, but it just feels kind of strange if both of us keep quiet throughout." He chuckled.
"So am I supposed to talk too?"
"That's up to you. "
"What am I supposed to say?"
"That's up to you too. You can tell me how you like to be touched. You can also compliment me." He smiled, which drew a smile from Elphaba.
She leaned forward and pressed her lips to his jaw.
"'You're not hideous'. Is that what I should say?"
"That sounds like a veiled insult." Fiyero laughed. And then he touched her cheek. "Would you like to continue or do you want to call it a day?"
Elphaba blushed again. She tried to speak, but the words would not come, and so she nodded again.
Her husband smiled, and he kissed her again, his tongue slipping between her lips. He kissed her jaw, her collarbone, his hand moving down to the one place she wanted it to be. There was an urgency in his touch, his fingers stroking her clit until she was wet again, until she could feel waves of shivers washing over her. She arched against his hand, letting out a sigh when he responded with increasing pressure. He slipped a finger into her, and then two, stroking her from inside and outside and she whimpered. She should feel ashamed that she was naked in front of a man and that he was touching her private parts, but it felt so good. He kissed her breasts, her stomach, and then his head was between her legs, lapping up her juice as if it was nectar. She moaned, feeling herself raising higher as he lapped faster and harder, his fingers digging into her thighs. She did not know how she was supposed to feel, if this was what she was supposed to feel, but she closed her eyes and cried out when she couldn't take it anymore.
His mouth was on hers again even before she opened her eyes. She could taste herself on his lips and it felt so wicked she parted her lips, tasting more of herself on his tongue. She pulled him down to her, feeling his weight and heat on her, something hard…
"Elphaba," he called her name, and she opened her eyes. Fiyero cupped her face with his hand. "My princess." A shiver ran from her ribs to her toes at the huskiness in his voice. He hooked her legs over his hips, and Elphaba let out a breath when he entered her. He kissed her again, hungry and feral, and Elphaba wrapped her arms around him, her nails digging into his skin. She whimpered with each thrust and purred when he reached between them and touched her again.
"You feel so fucking good," he growled and sucked on her neck, his hands lifting her hips so that he could go deeper. Something wound up inside her, and her breathing shallowed and quickened. "Come for me, Princess." He touched her clit again, two fingers hard and fast against her skin as he moved inside her, and it did not take long before the fireworks building up inside her exploded just as Fiyero came inside her and groaned as he collapsed on top of her.
