Chapter II – Unexpected Meeting

I and my best friend really hate this class, maybe the way our Sensei glared at us when we tried to communicate each other or just being sleepy. I realized that I really hate Physics… Yes for the first time there is one subject I really hate and my best friend doesn't know it since she always thought I am very intelligent and perfect student, but WRONG! I am also an ordinary student who also hates some subjects especially if it is too complicated. I don't understand why we need to know the speed, velocity per hour… do we really need it when we become professional… I doubt… it only works for Scientist and a geek like our Sensei.

(Bells rang)

Yosh! It is now over! "Miaka, be discreet he's still here you know, and he is now glaring at you and ready to eat you alive." A gasps and mortified look showed at Miaka's face and I can't stop to giggle a little, then suddenly. What so funny Ms. Hongo? Ochimaru Sensei. "Sensei, is not what you think… We better go to our next subject. See you tomorrow Sensei." Miaka follow me fast. It was creepy to be near to our weird Sensei.

"So Miaka, why are we here again?" Lately, I noticed that my best friend always inviting me to eat some snack here in nearby café that usually called, Phoenix Café. Mou, Yui-chan, I just love the strawberry cake they offer (she is blushing terribly) "Then, why are you blushing? Hmmmm." Me, blushing? Where did you get that? He-he-he (Sweat drop). "You know, you look like you are nervous and you are terrible in lying, so tell me… (I look at her accusingly) is anyone here fascinate you?" What! W-what are—you saying Yui? No, I just simply enjoying the food here (blushing). "Then why you stuttered? (I smile mischievously)." Excuse me Miss, may I have your order? Matte, where did I hear that voice and the smell… I smell it before and I looked at Miaka, she was now acting weird and shy? What Miaka? SHY? No way! Then I look up and now I remembered, it flashback to my mind and my heart beating so fast! "You!" The waiter also looks at me with his dashing smile. It's been a while, Hongou-san. "Did you know each other?" (Miaka widened her eyes) "Ah, not really Mi-chan, it was an accident and he was just there…" then I look at him again. "It is nice to meet you again, Mr. Ball (I smile). By the way, this is Miaka Yukii, my best friend. Miaka, this is Taka Sukinami, my knight and shining armor that day" Nice meeting you, Yuki-san (Taka said with his oh so perfect smile). Nice meeting you too… Sukinami-kun (Miaka shyly replied). Ah, now I know why she always invites me here…. She has a crush on him, Taka Sukinami. But, why I did not notice before… ahhh she was very entranced by his charm. To stop this madness, I will now order.

"I'll have blueberry cheesecake and mango shakes please." I look at Miaka and kick her under the table. Ah, yes! I'll order your specialty, strawberry cake and chocolate mousse latte please (Miaka said). Got it, be back ladies (Taka winked and return to the counter).

"Now I know Miaka." I teasingly said. Shut-up, Yui! (Miaka look to Mr. Ball, dreamingly). I don't know, but I also attracted to his charm, like a moth enthralled by a shining light, like his charming attributes. Can't help to look at my best friend again and frowned, I am not liking the idea what might happen in the future… It is very complicated. Oh so very complicated thing.

Taka POV

I never thought that I will meet her again faster than expected. Maybe it is destiny, I also saw her… Miaka (He softly smile). She never changed even before. "Here are the orders, Taka (Kurogane said, one of my colleague)." Arigato. I don't know what future store for us. I hope it is now better…
