Disclaimer: I do not own My Hero Academia. So I'm making my own My Hero Academia. With blackjack and hookers!

Izuku blinked as he felt his body come together. A brief moment of confusion came over him before he realised, ah, I'm a Double. Then his eyes flicked over to La Brava and Gentle Criminal. "Okay, what's the situation?"

To answer, La Brava turned on the television. Double immediately understood as Shigaraki grinned, the camera cutting to a shot of Tokyo Square.

Frankly it looked like a bomb had gone off. Heroes and civilians alike were battered and bleeding, huge chunks of concrete and broken glass strewn around. The manchild glared out, venom in his eyes. "How do you like that Mastermind?! I blew up Tokyo Square you idiot!"

"I can see why you created me." Double ran over to his armour, pulling it on. "How's Ingenium?"

"Stitch says that he can move."

"Good, good." Mastermind pulled his helmet on. "This fool thinks he can tangle with us? He had better think again!" Thunder boomed.

"MWAHAHAHA!"

Tomura cackled as he watched the devastation. Steps One and Two of his new plan had already succeeded!

Getting Stain on the side of the true League of Villains was important but what was more important was the name. He had learned his lesson - he needed to grab the Hero Killer's reputation before the inferior league could. If Stain objected, he could just discredit him, saying that they were clearly a fake.

Social media for the win.

Step Two required more manpower but he remembered Sensei talking vaguely about an old project - something he'd done in Naruhata. Digging up articles on the Villain Factory, Tomura had found his latest army. To think, all that raw material had been available…

Sensei had given him several warehouses worth of these proto Noumu as well as three regular Noumu, having explored the limits of the bomber cells they carried. Tomura figured that they should be used for something important.

He had chosen a long list of places for Kurogiri to strike, carefully picking out the coordinates. Now it was just a matter of unleashing a couple of strategic zerg rushes to make his point.

"Now then, Mastermind. Let's make this fun. "

His lips curled up.

"This is a challenge to all you Heroes. A lot of people are gonna die tonight, and no matter what you do, you can't save them all. So here's my demand."

Tomura's eye twitched. "Give me Mastermind and the League of Villains, and you can all sleep safely in your beds. How about that? A small group of idiots for the safety of Japan?"

And now he just had to wait. Cackling, he snapped the broadcast off. The overweight and pasty nerd pushed his glasses up, tapping away on his computer. Some people should not wear spandex, yet this guy did. Eventually he pushed up his glasses.

"O-okay sir, we're now patching in to the cameras and TVs in Hosu."

"Excellent." Tomura leered. Mon hopped up into his lap, Tomura stroking his most important and best teammate as he waited for Kurogiri's signal. "You're doing well, Leet."

The fatso puffed his chest as far as it could go, straining his pink and lime green leotard. "Of course I am! You won't find a better hacker anywhere!"

Tomura grinned. Having a hacker on his team was going to make this so much easier. "Kurogiri, get ready to deploy Warehouse 2."

Kurogiri was the most important piece. His Warp Gate required precise coordinates but compensated for that by having superior range. All Kurogiri had to do was drop the Noumu through and hop on a bullet train in disguise, heading to the next location with nobody any wiser.

"Understood, sir."

Shigaraki sat back. "Come on out and play, Mastermind…"

Endeavour grunted neutrally as he looked at the other Hero. "Sir Nighteye." Of all the All Might fanboys out there, he could tolerate Sir Nighteye - the man was professional above all else.

"Endeavour." Sir Nighteye glanced over, coolly. "I was aware you were in Hosu, but…"

He frowned. "This attack by the League of Villains takes priority. If they are indeed allies and Shigaraki isn't lying, then we need to nip this problem in the bud."

Next to him, Shouto bowed politely to Sir Nighteye's other intern, Shieldmaiden. Next to her, Lemillion gave Endeavour a neutral look. Endeavour shook his head slightly. He knew that Sir Nighteye was a tad obsessed with All Might, but did he really need two people that looked so much like him?

He minutely shuddered. Trying to turn back to the matter at hand, Endeavour glared at a map. "Given Shigaraki's mental immaturity, if he wants to strike in Hosu then he'll do it in the main square. Maximise casualties that way."

Sir Nighteye nodded. "This might be a way for Shigaraki to cover for his newest ally, or it could be nothing more than a temper tantrum. Team Idaten will be helping coordinate and evacuate civilians. Shieldmaiden and Shouto will be assisting."

Endeavour curtly nodded. While they were learning to be Heroes, they didn't need to be thrown into the middle of a life or death situation like this. He didn't want Shouto to die- His son could watch and learn how a Pro did it.

Shieldmaiden opened her mouth to object, but Sir Nighteye shook his head. "Though you could be involved if we were supervising, this is closer to a terrorist attack than Villain action. If the situation gets so bad that you must fight you have our permission but only if there is no other recourse."

"I-I understand, Sir Nighteye." Shieldmaiden didn't look happy with that.

Shouto looked over to Sir Nighteye and Endeavour's eyes widened. "Do you think the Villain Factory is connected to reptilians controlling the government, Sir Nighteye?"

Shieldmaiden slapped her face. Lemillion himself started, before a smile crossed his face. "Good one, Shouto!"

"I'm being serious. They may have been genetically augmented by the Illuminati. It's not outside the realm of possibility." Shouto's face was flat as always, meaning that he was serious.

As soon as Endeavour was off duty, he was getting a drink or several. For his part, Sir Nighteye stared at Shouto, then a smile quirked his lips. "Thank you, I needed that." he hesitated. "If you are interested, then you might want to intern for my agency next year."

The screens flickering and turning into Shigaraki's horrific visage was a welcome distraction.

In his lair Stain stared at the news with a disgusted look on his face. Those things - Bomber Noumu - were connected to the Villain Factory from a time before he had gained his resolve. "That conniving little bastard…" he growled.

He hated to admit it, but Shigaraki had surprised him more than once. The twisted little idiot had decided to jump the gun and say that there was an alliance when there was none. He said as much to his apprentice.

Spinner frowned. "It seemed l;ike it was going well. I… kind of related to him back there."

Purple smoke started in the middle of Hosu, Heroes shouting in alarm as new monsters came. "Take this, hypocrites! See you try and save everybody now! See, Stain really fucking hates hypocrite Heroes!"

Stain growled. "No, I am not. He's co-opting my words. Perverting them to his twisted sadism."

When was the last time you saved anybody?!

A thought suddenly struck him. He grinned. "Maybe I should do that…" he wondered.

"Do what, master?"

Stain sheathed his sword. "Shigaraki wants to use my name? Well, there are those who must be purged. Just not any Heroes today."

As the attack started, Shieldmaiden and Shouto worked at getting as many people out of the way as they could. "This way!" She yelled, helping the few people still in the square get to safety.

In the middle it was chaos. Dark purple mist had appeared and they had barely a second to react before the attack started. Bomber Noumu shot out, Endeavour meeting them with a blast of fire. More had appeared before he could attack again, Sir Nighteye and Lemillion fighting them.

Sir Nighteye threw another one of his special stamps at a Bomber Noumu, its head caving in. Two more joined it, and Shieldmaiden got ready for a fight. Next to him, Centipeder's arms stretched out, delivering powerful punches to the heads of these creatures, venomous stingers jabbing into them and knocking them flat, but they were relentless.

Shouto threw up a wall of ice to block Bombers from coming, the ice holding briefly before the thunderous crack of explosions came. Shieldmaiden pulled out her latest addition to her Support gear as the ice came crashing towards them.

It had been a silly reference to her chosen Hero name, and it was still in development. The bandages she wore unravelled, twisting into a shield and blocking a lump of ice from hitting the civilians behind her. Shieldmaiden twisted another piece - coloured red and shaped like a bubble blower. She calibrated it carefully then unleashed it.

Huge, greyish bubbles flew out, and snagged a couple of Bombers. They exploded, the bubbles holding. Shieldmaiden barely had a second to feel relief at it working as more came, Endeavour swooping down to char them.

"There's too many!" Big Shot yelled, forced to unleash another blast that sent him to his knees. A group of Bombers shot past, aiming for buildings and people, bodies bulging.

Shigaraki leered down all over the square. "Keep struggling, Fakes! God, you make me sick. Acting like you can save everybody but helping nobody but yourselves. And where's Mastermind? Running scared?"

Shieldmaiden grit her teeth as he talked. Something must have happened to make him like this, but it didn't excuse actions like this.

Sir Nighteye threw another stamp at a Bomber, smashing its face in. Endeavour was covering the other side of the square and as such was unable to make it in time as another Bomber came.

Shieldmaiden was aware that her legs were moving, One for All firing up in its safest state -

Sir Nighteye had never been able to see his own future. Probably a relief, given how immutable those futures were. As if in slow motion, he saw the Bomber leer, then started to glow with power.

Then a skinny figure came down, a blade flashing. The creature had a moment to react before it fell in half, exploding around the figure.

Sir Nighteye gawked. He hadn't expected or predicted this.

A figure covered in blades, the same one from Ingenium's armour camera. "You don't get to die, Nighteye," Stain rasped. "You… were the sidekick of a True Hero."

Shigaraki glared down at Stain. "What the hell! Stop team killing!"

"My blade only fells Fakes." Stain glared at the Bomber Noumu.

A young man with a lizard mutation swung by as well, wielding a sword made of knives, cleaving through a Bomber Noumu. "Oh my god that was so cool!" He panted.

Endeavour shouted, going for the Hero Killer only for a group of Bomber Noumu to take the opportunity to charge past him. Snarling, Endeavour turned to blast them with fire, stopping them from progressing.

Stain glared at Endeavour, sneering. "You're all Fakes… But you won't fall to my blade today." A Bomber Noumu tried to grab him, only for a knife to hit it between the eyes. Stain ran forward, snatching it up and heading for his next target.

Sir Nighteye glared at the Villain, then brained a Noumu as it came at him. "A strange way of working with Shigaraki," he bit out.

The Hero Killer didn't respond, his blade swinging through the air in a deadly dance.

Shigaraki shrugged. Then a wicked grin split his face. And Nighteye cursed when several Bomber Noumu stopped and charged at him. He reached for a stamp but didn't have one available. Then Stain got in the way.

Stain was fast enough to attack just as they started to swell, cutting their bodies. Unfortunately, they were already exploding. The explosion blew Sir Nighteye back. Surely nobody could-

His eyes widened when he saw Stain stagger out, covered in blood. "...Fakes…" The Hero Killer rasped. One of his arms had broken, and a leg was dragging awkwardly.

Shigaraki mock gasped. "Oh, no! Stain, I'm sorry, I thought you said he had to die and you got in the way! Wow, total misclick."

Endeavour scowled, glaring at Stain's blood covered form. "Hmph. Come quietly, Hero Killer. Your mad purge is over."

Sir Nighteye looked carefully at Stain and his eyes widened. Despite the broken nature of his body, the man was exuding nothing more or less than pure bloodlust.

Stain glared at Endeavour, or possibly Shigaraki's visage. "You… you think you can kill me?!"

Impossibly, he took a step towards Endeavour. "Come… try. Because the only one who can kill me… IS ALL MIGHT!"

His eyes were bloodshot, and he brandished a sword in his good hand.

And despite the fraught nature of the situation, every Hero froze for an instant as the sheer killing intent coming off Stain seemed to fill the air. Even the mindless Noumu seemed to hesitate.

Then the lizard mutant took the opportunity to act. A smoke bomb obscured both of their figures and Endeavour shouted, shooting forwards to try and apprehend the broken Stain. Sir Nighteye forced himself to move-!

But it was too late. Stain and the lizard man had vanished into thin air. Endeavour shouted in anger, the resulting fire incinerating the nearest Bomber Noumu.

Then the display flickered. Sir Nighteye could only hope that was something helpful.

Mastermind looked over to their captive. "How are you doing, Ingenium?"

Tied into a death machine, Ingenium struggled. "What are you planning, Mastermind?"

Mastermind chuckled darkly. "My entrance." He gestured dramatically over to La Brava. "HIT IT!"

La Brava nodded, cracking her knuckles. Then her hands flew over her virtual keyboard, tracking the outgoing signals. "Well, I think we found their frequency!"

Mastermind cackled. "Get ready, for we're going to take this stage by force!"

Shigaraki thought he could terrorise Japan? That was Mastermind's job, not his! "MWAHAHAHA! READY MY ROBOTS! PLAY THE TUNES OF ANARCHY!"

Tomura whipped around when he heard the music. A strumming guitar started playing. He glared at Leet. "What the hell-"

Familiar lyrics came. It's not a game, I'm not a robot AI challenging you!

The display at Hosu flickered, changing to a graphic of Japan picked out in red. Then green tentacles wrapped around it, followed by letters.

THE LEAGUE OF SUPERVILLAINS.

I'm not a phantom, I'm in your face and I'm going to see it through!

Tomura glared at Leet. "What the fuck are you doing? Change it back!"

Leet was frantically typing. "I-I'm trying! I'm trying!"

"You said you were the fucking best hacker! Were you lying?!"

"W-well-"

"Well what?!" Tomura glared at him, itching to disintegrate him but aware that he had a hard to replace skillset.

Leet swallowed. "W-well… There is a better hacker out there - a living legend in the community. T-they're called… GentleLove3?"

Tomura's eye twitched. Great, he'd only gotten a level 90 schlub instead of a level 100 hacker. Trust that prick Mastermind to have hogged all the good players to his guild. "Keep trying!"

Right before your eyes,

Watch us multiply

Come to claim our Rights, it's time!

The screen changed, and Tomura's heart rate spiked, scratching his neck in irritation. Mastermind stood there. A peal of thunder came. "MWA-HA HA HA! The League of Villains called for me, and I'm here! And I have a guest with me!"

The camera panned over to Ingenium, strapped into some sort of chair. "He's enjoyed the benefits of my evil hospitality for a few days now! How are you feeling, Ingenium?"

"I will never join you, Mastermind!" Ingenium struggled to get free from his bonds. What a fucking loser.

Mastermind shrugged. "See? That's proper hostage behaviour Shigaraki. Take notes if you want to become as great as me!"

Tomura ground his teeth. "You little…"

He pointed dramatically at Tomura. "You want us? Come find us! Your argument is with me and me alone! Or are you nothing more than a filthy casual?"

Tomura smirked. Like an insult like that would get through to him. He just had to keep his cool-

Mastermind seemed to pause. "You know something? You're so bad… you probably play Teemo in League of Legends. Or you only play mobile games."

Tomura saw red as Mastermind cackled at him. Sure, being called a Teemo player was bad enough. But calling him a mobile gamer?

That was too far!

He whirled on to Leet, scratching his neck so hard he was drawing blood. "FIND HIM NOW!"

"A-already working on finding them!" Leet's fingers flew across his keyboard, and eventually he shouted. "Musutafu! They're-they're in Musutafu! Somewhere in the warehouse area!"

Mon woofed. Tomura looked down in concern. "Oh, sorry for worrying you Mon." He glared at the screen, then reached for his phone. "Kurogiri, haul ass to Musutafu! We got him!"

"Can I get precise coordinates to drop the Noumu?"

Tomura glared over at Leet. "Maybe in an-an hour-"

"Fuck waiting that long!" Tomura glared at Leet. "Kurogiri, get your ass over there and throw whatever Noumu we have there!"

On the other end of the line Kurogiri let out a sigh. "Very well, sir. And the Noumu in Hosu?"

"Fucking grab them as well! I want EVERYTHING we have pointed at that smug bastard!"

He had been patient for too long. Now it was time to break some things. Mastermind's bones, fingers, spirit, all that jazz…

A thought then hit him. Maybe not everything had to be directed at Mastermind. "On second thought… Kurogiri, drop the three proper Noumu off in Hosu. We don't want the Heroes interfering, do we?"

"Very good sir."

Grape Shot swallowed anxiously. The Noumu attack was one thing but Mastermind launching an attack, just like that?

As soon as the first attack had happened in Tokyo, Mount Lady had shot out with Kamui Woods and Death Arms on patrol. Grape Shot and Iida had gone as well, though under orders to leave and handle evacuation if the Bombers appeared.

Next to him, Iida seemed to sag. "My brother…He's-he's alive!" A relieved smile split his face.

Minoru glanced over. "So… Not going after Mastermind?"

Please, listen to reason!

Iida looked at him, hesitating. Then he nodded. "As badly as I want to go after him, my first concern was that my brother is safe! Sure, he's in the hands of Mastermind, but-"

Mount Lady suddenly shouted "INCOMING!"

Grape Shot stared in horror as three figures appeared - one a hulking, black skinned brute like the Noumu from the USJ, one with wings and the other with four eyes and a gas mask. "Oh great," Grape Shot moaned.

He'd forgotten that there was more than one kind of Noumu.

Death Arms was running in already, sparks flying around his fists. Mount Lady gave the pair of them worried looks. "Okay Grape Shot, Iida! We need you to get the civilians out of here safely!"

She shot up to her full height, stomping on the black skinned Noumu. Grape Shot had a brief moment of envy then ran forwards. "This way, everybody!" Quickly he shot

Iida swooped in, scooping a man out of the way of the four-eyed Noumu's swiping hand, taking them to safety. Death Arms swung his electrified fist at it. "DYNAMO FIST!"

Screeching, the creature took the hit. Then electricity sparked around it and it smacked him back. Death Arms grunted as he took the blow, before grimly shooting forward once again.

Kamui Woods tried to snag the winged Noumu, but it swooped out of the way of his every branch. As Grape Shot managed to direct more people safely away, he saw the black skinned Noumu get back up. Acting on instinct, he carefully pegged Pop Off's balls at it, snagging a foot and its chest as it stepped forwards. The hulking brute roared as it tried to walk forwards, only for its foot to stick and its chest to stick to the ground as it fell.

Mount Lady gave a thumbs up. "Cool move, Grape Shot!"

Minoru flushed even as Mount Lady turned to try and swat the flying Noumu. Cool…?

He'd never really been called that before. Hell, he'd become a Hero so that he could be a cool guy and touch boobs.

Then another explosion happened and he shook himself. "Right, right! Saving people!"

Meanwhile, Mastermind grinned at the display, carefully setting up a miniature television near him. The Docks were one of the older parts of Musutafu, the smell of the sea coming from the sea behind him. Purple mist sprung up in front of him, exactly as he had leaked his location. "Well, it's almost showtime!"

His communicator crackled as one Bomber Noumu after another lined up, waiting for their master's command. "There's nobody in the buildings, Mastermind," Mr. Warp confirmed.

"There's no reports of more Bomber Noumu!" La Brava chimed in. "Hopefully it's all of them."

"Mass suicide bombings… how ungentlemanly," Gentle Criminal tutted. "Still, I hope this works."

Mastermind smiled. Behind him, the Mastermobile hummed, his cape fluttering dramatically in the actual wind rather than by machine. Then he turned to the communicator line they had to Shigaraki. "Say, Shigaraki… You want to know the difference between you and me?"

Shigaraki scowled. "I know already - you're soft. Weak! I'm based and you're cringe!"

He tutted. "No, no!"

The Bomber Noumu looked at him. Idly Mastermind checked his defences. "The difference between you and me…"

He tapped a remote. The Erase Ray charged up on the roof of the Mastermobile. Sure, it would have made more sense to charge on the way. But Mastermind was all for drama.

Shigaraki glared. "Shut up, shut up! KILL HIM ALREADY!"

"It's style!"

The Erase Ray fired, a green light bathing the Bomber Noumu. Mastermind had to grin behind his mask. This had been one of the best discoveries he had made regarding Quirk research. Once he got back, Golden Grin was going to be thanked for it once again.

Immediately Tomura had a bad feeling when he saw the light shine. That Quirk erasing ray of his was practically legendary in the Underground. "What the hell is he-"

The first of the Bomber Noumu stopped, looking down at itself. Tomura's eyes widened when it suddenly exploded. Its neighbour followed suit. And like a chain reaction, his Bombers were blowing up, that weird green light sweeping over them as the damn car shot forwards.

"My Noumu… Those were my Noumu…" He said, dazedly.

Every last one of his Noumu had prematurely exploded. Mastermind posed dramatically. "Did you enjoy my little surprise?"

He had received some intel about Mastermind's Erase Ray - and he had to admit, he wanted his own. Use that on some bullshit Hero and then turn them to dust. But this… What the hell kind of ray was it?

His confusion morphed into a familiar emotion. "HE BLEW UP MY NOUMU! Why didn't anybody tell me he had one of those… things?!"

"We… didn't know that was an option?" Leet squeaked. Then every screen they had went blank, replaced with text reading 'Whiny man baby is having a tantrum. Please stand by.' he slammed his hands on the keyboard, trying to get rid of it.

Nothing happened.

Once again, Mastermind had aborted his brilliant plan.

Tomura shook with rage, spittle flecking in the corners of his mouth. He wanted to break something, anything. It wasn't fair! Mastermind kept pulling out bullshit hacks like that! If he got his hands on that little idiot, he was going to kill him in an even more painful way!

He gripped the computer screen in front of him, crumbling it to dust. Leet took one look at his face and immediately booked it as far as his fat little legs could carry him.

"DAMN YOU, MASTERMIND!"

Mastermind dusted his hands off theatrically, turning to his monitor broadcasting to Japan. "And that's how a Supervillain does it!"

Forcing their Quirks to activate like this was a good idea. Minimising the damage was the main goal. Sure, he could have just deactivated their Quirks and then coated them in confoam, but that explosion had been too cool not to do.

Dramatically, he pulled out a League of Supervillains business card and pinned it to the monitor. The heroes would be here any second, spotting his clues. "Ta-ta for now, I have to get back to Ingenium and make sure he's… comfortable."

He laughed dramatically. Thunder cracked as he stared at the camera. "Stay tuned!"

AN: Thought you would get the death trap in this chapter? Unfortunately, a lot of other stuff happened.

Shigaraki is sort of in a midpoint of his development - so he's been baited into putting all his eggs in one basket to try and kill Mastermind. Mastermind played him like a fiddle, counting on his temper and emotional immaturity. Whether that will work in future remains to be seen.

Mineta managed to somewhat get through to Iida! Mostly seeing Ingenium alive and as well as you can be in the hands of a Supervillain stopped him from making a bad decision.

Tomura's plan got revealed and Mastermind stopped it before too much carnage could happen.

And how did Mastermind blow up all those Noumu? I shall reveal it next time!

As always thank you Banchoking for editing my shit.

Next time… We're gonna see Ingenium in a death trap!
