During Divination, Professor Trelawney was fawning over what Harry's cup was saying about an 'oath of death' that he would see and Draco could only have his ear twitch at that. It seemed that with the dementors being the ones guarding the school from Sirius meant that this year would be like all the previous ones: a mess.

3rd PERSON POV

"You've got to be kidding me!" Draco said as he looked at Sirius dog form, who was all wet from running outside, Theo who was laughing at the side stopped when he saw the glare that Draco sent his way. "You're grounded, no late outside walks for—for a week!" Sirius ears dropped and looked at him sadly, but alas Draco did not submit.

"Come 'ere, gotta dry you now," he said grabbing his wand before saying a drying spell that left Sirius's fur fluffy. Draco had to commend to Sirius as he could never act much as a dog as Sirius did, for someone who was in jail for a long time, Sirius was a great actor.

"You're acting out much more than usual, you hungry boy?"

Sirius wagged his tail and Draco nodded, I'll get you something easy sit down for a bit. He ignored Thor's clear intrigue and went to extend the small charm that he had on his bracelet.

It was a magical suitcase.

He opened it up and went inside to grab some food that Sirius liked, he had bought this suitcase when he went shopping with Nico, he figured it might come in handy while he was at Hogwarts. He planned to use this place as a hiding place for when Severus would come and check the rooms from time to time, they weren't exactly allowed to have dogs with them, y'know?

Today was Friday, so the only class that the Slytherins had was D.A.D.A. Which was totally fine with Draco as they were going to be the first ones that got a new special lesson that week as the other students were a bit behind. It was mostly a preview of what they were going to do for next week, so it wasn't all that special in a way. Getting the food out, he started to get ready with Theo. Keeping an eye on the other boy to see if his injuries acted up while he was changing.

Once they were ready they begin to head there way to class. They arrived at the usual time and were one of the last ones to arrive. Everyone was talking with each other as Lupin counted their heads to take attendance.

"Can I have your attention, please."

Draco looked at his professor as did the others, "Today we have an interesting class. We will be facing your fears here and learning how to expel them away with a spell. Can anyway be guess how we will do that?" Hermione raised her hand, "Yes, Ms. Granger?"

"Are we going to face a boggart?"

Professor Lupin nodded, "That's right! The spell that we will be using is called Riddikulus, it's a spell that'll ensure that you can face your fears by taking away what makes you fear it—"

He zoned out when Lupin said that, it suddenly made him think in what his worst fear would be. But mostly it made him nervous.

What was the worst fear that a young demigod would have? If he had to be sincere then Draco would say that his biggest fear was being left alone. It was one of the things that seemed to be constant in his life. The loneliness that he felt when his mother locked him up, when he was in that cursed casino, and even when he was brought into the Malfoy Manor. It was one of the reasons why he always wanted to have siblings, he liked the idea of having someone grow with him, near him, someone that he saw so constantly that he can't imagine them not being there. It was both a blessing and a curse when Nico came into his life. On one hand, he finally had the sibling that he always wanted, but, on the other hand, having a sibling so suddenly with no preparation made things awkward. Draco was left to be constantly anxious on how his relationship with Nico was, he wanted Nico to like him and see him as a brother, but didn't want him to think he wanted to take Bianca's place. He also didn't want Nico to think he was getting closer to him because of guilt (he does admit it is a part of it, but not ALL of it.) Nico deserved better than that.

It was hard.

Really hard.

He hated the feeling of being lost whenever Nico and him would get into a fight, logically he knows sibling fights are normal, but he still feels uncomfortable when they happen. He doesn't want Nico to get tired of him and leave too.

Being left alone was a pattern that he was so familiar with, but if he had to be honest. Draco hated being with someone more because he knows that they'll leave at some point and the loneliness that he has grown accustomed to would suddenly feel more heavy. It's like that weird feeling when you move your leg nonchalantly and suddenly stop when you notice you're shaking it and once you stop you're left with the weird feeling of suddenly being still.

When his name was called by Professor Lupin a feeling of dread arose from him.

"Mr. Malfoy? You're next to try it."

He shielded his thoughts from everyone and talked himself into doing what he was told. Everyone else had done it, there wasn't a way he could refuse to do the exercise without tarnishing the Malfoy name.

Draco could only hope that it wouldn't be anything that could give him away in any aspect that would compromise the mission. He doesn't want to have an angry goddess on his back thank you.

He looked at Professor Lupin with an unreadable expression then went ahead and stopped after he was close enough for the boggart to notice him. Once it did it soon started to bubble into form, black goo started to form into a humanoid being and all he could do is hold his breath and wait for it to finish forming.

Soon Draco met eyes almost like his own and there stood his mother's sister, his aunt, his first victim. Her eyes were dark as black liquid flowed down to her cheeks. Ears, mouth, and her nose was bleeding, she looked just like he had remembered last seeing her. The air around him quieted and he went to grab his wand just to see that she was changing and the figure started to change from form to another as it struggled to choose what his fear was. He grabbed his wand and glanced at his professor as he nodded at Draco to continue to wait for the boggart to finish changing.

He glanced back and met the golden eyes of the one person who ruined his safe space, Kronos. He was in Luke's body and was smiling making Luke's scar more noticeable as he did so. "You should really try and join me if you don't want me to kill everyone you care about," it spoke in a cold cheerful voice. Draco was thankful that Kronos was speaking to him in Greek as he heard the confusion of those behind him.

He stayed quiet.

"Giving me the silent treatment? How childish," Kronos said as it took the sword from his side. The golden part of the Backbiter gleamed, even from where Draco was he could feel all the death been caused by the hybrid sword. Draco ignored what Kronos said and got his wand ready to say the spell, "Riddi—"

He was cut off as Luke's body ran towards him and sliced the sword his direction. He blocked it with his wand and struggled as he felt all the force that Kronos placed on the attack. Draco only had a wand so it felt even more difficult for him to sustain the block so he stepped aside and let the blade grazed by him.

Draco set up some space between them and inspected his wand and saw the deep scratch on it, he doubted that it was going to work now.

"Riddikkulus!" He heard his Professor say and saw how Kronos simply blocked the spell with his sword, "How foolish for a mortal to try and interfere." Kronos spoke in English so that Lupin could understand him. "I should teach you a lesson about your manners, but—" he looked at Draco, "—there's much more important things to handle."

Everyone started to make noice as they saw that even their professor couldn't stop Draco's boggart. Draco then decided there and then that this boggart was a bit too powerful to be kept alive, it seemed that some monsters from here loved the power that demigods could give them with their mere presence.

Using his cape to block his hands from view he twisted his ring and out came his trustworthy dagger. He got ready for an attack as Kronos rolled the sword around for it to scrape the ground, letting small sparks emit from his actions.

Kronos decided that he did enough presentation and raced to him, his stance mirroring Luke's own as he started to attack. Draco could only dodge as he glanced at the crowd that started to head towards the door to get out, some where still there like his friends, so he couldn't really just attack this person.

Once all the students left Lupin closed the door and ensured that any student couldn't get back in, Draco looked at him with disdain.

He dodged once again and set some distance between him and Luke. Giving Lupin a glare as he looked back at him to see if he could do something to help Draco. 'Go!' He mouthed to him and Lupin just shook his head. "Pay attention to the battle, this will decide your fate!" He heard Luke say.

He kicked Luke in the stomach as he said that and stabbed his shoulder as Luke blocked him from Lupin's vision. Instead of the golden blood that he would expect, there was the familiar silver dust from some time before. Getting an idea he stepped aside as Luke swung his sword and then ran towards him, quickly shortening the distance between them as he threw himself towards Luke. Twisting himself so that his thighs wrapped around Luke's neck and set him of balance before twisting himself to the side and bringing his knife up to Luke's exposed neck.

Luke disappeared in a cloud of silver glitter, and Draco grunted as he fell on his side. He hid his knife and sighed as he laid in the grown. Professor Lupin got inside after seeing what happened and got to his side. He questioned Draco if he was alright before finally taking in all the silver glitter around the classroom and on Draco.

Draco got up and stared at his broken wand and then at the silver dust on the floor. That's what you get when you mess with his things, fucking asshole.

Draco then simply got up and left, he ignored all the curious glances sent his way as people whispered about what happened.

oOo

"... who were those people?" Blaise asked. He forgot that Blaise was in their class for a moment. Draco wondered if he should answer in the first place but like a softy he did, "Just some people I used to know, it's not a big deal."

Blaise and Theodore stayed quiet, they glanced at each other before looking back at him, "What language was the blonde guy speaking? The lady just sounded all gurgled but something the guy said set you off. What was it?"

"Nothing that should concern you," Blaise started to protest but he sent him a glare, "Drop it."

They all stayed silent before Draco felt bad and just sighed, "Can we go to see the Gryffindor match? I need to see someone lose to make myself feel better."

They all silently agreed, and everyone around them could see this unspoken tension around them. No one dared to comment on it though.

I'm alive babyyyyyy! Nice seeing you guys again, sorry I didn't update sooner :(

Writing this chapter was really a pain in the ass, you have no idea how many times I had to rewrite this chapter because all the ideas I had to write Draco's boggart. It was hard for me to choose, but I just settled on this since I was taking a bit too long to update. I'm especially glad that I started to write some of the lore I made up for this fics Draco! I legit had a whole page explaining what and who his family was to justify his literal existence lol (obviously I had to tweak some things but it should still be the same as usual.)

Also I'm trying to see if I left any questions unanswered from the previous chapters, so feel free to use this chapter to leave any questions you may have. I'll answer them next chapter!

See ya next chapter!
