They all stayed silent before Draco felt bad and just sighed, "Can we go to see the Gryffindor match? I need to see someone lose to make myself feel better."

They all silently agreed, and everyone around them could see this unspoken tension around them. No one dared to comment on it though.

3rd PERSON POV

Everyone was talking about him, whispering about him to their friends as he passed them by. No one seemed to care that he could hear them as they spoke. It seemed as if no one was interested in letting his boggart alone and stop talking about him. He supposes that having a boggart that blocked the one spell that was supposed to stop it was enough for people to talk about it.

Draco was weirded out by that happening. He still didn't have a clue on why the boggart could do that, Hecate had the strongest barrier in the areas where she had her little projects in. There had to be something going one if that barrier stopped working, was Lady Hecate okay? He hoped that everything was okay back home, he wanted to get answers, but with all these eyes on him he couldn't get anything.

Today was an important day, it was the day that he was going to compete with the Gryffindor team in a Quidditch match. He wondered if he was going to do good with all the stress that he has been accumulating throughout the days. Draco hoped that it didn't affect his performance.

"Everything okay?" some voice behind him asked. He turned around to see none other that Professor Lupin there in all his wolfy glory. "I don't need a furry asking me if I'm okay."

"A what?"

"A depressed looking man that I don't know that low-key gives pedophile vibes."

Lupin blushed in what could be anger or embarrassment before unexpectedly let out a laugh, "Who taught you to talk like that?"

"Not my parents that's for sure. Now, what do you want?"

Lupin sighed before he got straight to the point, "I just need to check in on you about your boggart. Teacher procedure when a boggart is a person, we need to ensure that you're safe and that whoever that person was cannot hurt you anymore. We do it for everyone."

"Why should I talk to you? Can't I choose who to talk to?"

Lupin shrugged at that, "You could, but then you'd have to talk with Dumbledore himself to ensure your safety."

Draco cringed at the talk about speaking to the man that can read minds, he stayed quiet contemplating on what he should do before he nodded. "Fine, lead the way, but I better not get in trouble for this shit."

Lupin gave him a side-eye at his language but didn't say anything about it, "You'll get a note for any class you miss. I'll personally write it for you after we're done."

They both walked in silence with Lupin looking behind him to ensure that Draco was following him. "We're here," Professor Lupin said as he opened the room to his empty classroom, he left the door open as teachers should when they're alone with a student but placed a silencing charm to get Draco some privacy.

"I just need the basics of who the blonde man is and what he is or was to you. Is he still in your life," Professor Lupin asked as he sent Draco a friendly smile when he noticed how tense he got when Luke was mentioned. "Do I have to say how I know him...?" he quietly asked. "Sadly, yes."

"Okay...what do you want to know exactly?"

"Just want to know who the man was, if you know him of course, and possibly if he's still around you."

"Well...um... he's my...cousin...?"

"You make it sound more like a question than a statement."

"It's just that... he's disowned from my Father's side, but I was still curious about ALL my family and... I started to secretly approach them," he nervously looked at his professor and leaned his head in a way that his bangs covered his face.

"He... his name is...was Luke. I met him when I was three, and we got along quite well! He was like a big brother to me!" he stopped as he accidentally blurted that out, "W-well at least that's how I saw him, but I got older he...changed for the worst...," Draco stopped speaking as he suddenly started to remember all the signs that everyone had about Luke being evil that everyone ignored and thought of him being edgy.

"-raco?" he jumped up startled at the hand that grabbed his shoulder and twisted the hand that touched him. He heard a curse and saw Lupin's pained expression, "...!"

He was horrified at what he had done that Draco ran out the room, he ignored the shouting of his professor to come back.

oOo

It seemed that everyone was interested in getting on Draco's nerves. He ignored the whispers that seemed to follow everywhere and headed towards the Quidditch Slytherin changing room. Inside he saw a few of his teammates getting ready while also applying anti-rain spells to ensure that the rain didn't ruin their performance.

He took off his school uniform and exchange it with the Quidditch one before doing the same spells everyone did. "Hey everyone!" Markus said as he came in and left some stuff on his locker. "Ready to beat some lion ass?"

No one answered, "We might loss...again...," someone from the team muttered bitterly. Markus frowned at that, "Well not with that attitude, we have to try our best! Hell, even if we don't win I'll ask permission for a celebration!" everyone was still a bit down but the thought of a small party seemed to bring some excitement back to the team.

"All right team here we go!"

The crowd was as lively as ever, no one seemed to care much about the terrible weather as people cheered for the team that they respectively wanted to win. Players in green and red robes zoomed around the field, some falling off their brooms or getting scared due to the thunder. Draco was barely even trying as he pretended to look excited for playing, looking around and being careful that he didn't get hit by any bolder or any other player that was around him.

Draco was startled when Harry zoomed past him and into the sky above, there was this weird feeling in his got that had all his demigod senses up and running. He flew towards Harry and felt as the air around him seemed to get colder with how high up in the sky they were. Harry was in front of Draco and was seemingly about to get the Snitch before something black flew close to Harry and knocked him out of his broom. Startled and concerned Draco went after Harry and caught him with his left arm, he used all his strength to ensure that he got the passed out Harry on his broom and not have the same fate that his broom had. He unconsciously dodged when he felt something near and descended as he saw what was flying around them.

Dementors.

There where fucking dementors EVERYWHERE.

Draco held in his panic and put the unconscious Harry onto his broom before flying as fast as he could away from the dementors that started to chase after them. Everyone cheered when they saw Harry's red cape descend but soon that happiness turned into confusion as everyone saw Draco holding the unconscious Harry. The Gryffindor's started to boo, probably think that Draco had done something to their star player, but those boo's turned into screams as they saw the black flying shadows that followed behind him.

Draco didn't glance behind him as another shadow zoomed past him and went towards where Dumbledore was and threw Harry onto where he was, before turning with a sharp turn and getting the attention from the dementors. "HEY, YOU DUMB FUCK OVER HERE!" they ignored him until he ripped off his quidditch glove to get access to his concealing-glove, getting the attention from almost every dementor within radius. He used the chance that everyone was panicking with the dementors and leaving their stalls to use that to fly to one of them empty ones where he got off his broom and turned around to whack one dementor away with his broom.

He twisted his broom as if it where his staff and used it to hit every dementor on the face as he ran at them from the sitting stalls. There was some shouting and he heard his name being called, getting distracted he went to look at who was calling his name, he got grabbed by the neck and was flown into the sky with a dementor.

Draco gasped at the lack of air and all he could do is see his breath as the dementor got close to his face. Tears started to well up at the lack of air and he started to have his happiness drained from him until all he could think about was about his mom taking his hand and leaving him at the casino with the promise that he'll find her after she tells him to move to find her. Waiting and waiting in that spot before Mrs. Gladestone noticed him and his crying face and took him in. Then he could just remember the thing that happened prior to his mother abandoning him, he remembered being see after his Aunt Andromeda, seeing her smile at him as she read him his favorite fox story to sleep before she fell asleep beside him. Him having a nightmare and grabbing her in her sleep in a distressed state before waking up to her rotting before his eyes. All the things that he could see was the people that he cared about dying, Bianca, Zoë, his mother, his aunt, Luke, Nico—

He thought of Nico. Nico laughing (staring at him with pure hatred)

Talking to him (ignoring him and pretending he didn't exist)

Being in awe at Draco's tales of. The modern world (looking him in disgust, "I don't need you anymore.")

Nico telling him about his dreams ("It's ALL RUINED BECAUSE OF YOU.)

Nico.

Nico.

Niconiconiconiconiconiconico.

NICO, he gasped as tears fell and froze in his cheeks before twisting his finger and using his dagger to stab the dementor in its eye socket.

Before falling.

That fall was the most peace he felt in years.

"DEPULSO!"
