He sat down on the ground and but his crutches away before grabbing a book and his sticky notes and annotating the book he was reading. He spent his entire free time there until he no longer felt the presence of someone watching him.

3rd PERSON POV

The feeling of being watched and followed died a little from that day on. It seemed that the gamble that Draco made of sacrificing one of his favorite private spots for—well privacy was the correct way to go since it seemed that a specific boy-who-lived didn't want to appear like an actual stalker.

Well more than he already was that is.

Hell, even Annabeth wasn't that bad when she had her hat of invisibility. She actually respected people's privacy—for the most part—and didn't use it all the time unless it was to get information. But if Harry was truly looking to get information then what did Draco do to a=make him suspicious?

Draco tried to think of anything he could've done that was suspicious but nothing came to mind. Maybe having a 'dog' that he took care of in secret was a bit too much, but he honestly doubted that Sirius had anything to do about it.

So, that left Harry having something that let him see his location at all times because apparently Fred and George thought to give it to him. "You can't be serious?" he deadpans at Sirius who shot him a shitty grin which he scowled at even more.

"Yes, I am Sirius nice to meet you augh—" a certain hairy man yelled out as Draco kicked him in the knee making him yell out. Draco shushed him, "You'll wake up the others."

Sirius rolled his eyes, "There's charms for that." Now it was Draco's turn to roll his eyes. "It's what you get for making that stupid map, and even if it wasn't stupid," Draco looked at Sirius in the eye, "It could still rat us out if Harry puts two and two together or worse if Lupin finds the map."

The older man just hummed as he thought about it, "Maybe we should take it away from him for now…"

That got Draco's attention, "What's your plan? Do you even have one?"

Sirius pouted which mad Draco look at him with a weirded out expression, "you could just take it from him, I mean you can somehow feel where he is when he wears James's cloak."

"That's true… it would also be in character; guess I just have to steal it from him by trying to act suspicious and hanging out with Myrtle. That always gets his attention."

"See now you got yourself a plan," Sirius said as he extended his hand to steal away a blanket and shift to his dog form which immediately made Draco pet him.

"You're lucky I like dogs."

oOo

There was something cool about finally getting your cast taken away. Not only did you finally freed the nipple, but he also gets the freedom to do what he wished to do again. Now he didn't have to deal with the adults—Lupin and Snape—look after him during their classes but it also gave him the right to be active in certain classes—Hagrid.

"Stay still while she prepares the spell, Draconis," Lucius said as he looked over the paperwork that was held from him per Draco's request to not 'worry his parents' and they allowed it because Draco also slipped out a fact that his parents could due the school for having the dementors here and them attacking the students when they were supposed to protect them.

Madame Pomfrey smiled nervously at him before saying the spell that could cut the cast from his leg. Once his leg was free he extended his leg and started to walk around to test himself out. Stumbling for a bit he didn't stop until he got the hand of it and could walk normally with his freed limb. Lucius and Madam Pomfrey started to talk and he spaced out for a bit before a bell rang and Lucius stood up and went towards the fire, "Malfoy Manor!"

As soon as the older Malfoy left Draco thanked the Madame and left the patient's room to go to his next class, Care of Magical Creatures with Hagrid.

Stepping outside where their class was going to be held that day Draco went up to his friends, Blaise and Theodore. Theodore nodded at him while Blaise slapped his back, "Finally out of those crutches huh." Draco nodded and they all waited for Hagrid to come to their location while chatting with each other and asking them how they've been.

"'ell then 'ome 'ere," Hagrid said as he gestured his students to follow him. Everyone did so until they were close to the Forbidden Forest. In there Hagrid was giving the usual lesson of the smaller more friendlier creatures that allowed themselves to be bothered for a lesson before Draco felt the presence of something he hadn't felt for a while.

A Godly presence.

Or at least some of it, it was very faint and it immediately made the hairs in his neck stand up before he looked around to see if anyone was watching him. Once he made sure that everyone was looking at the creatures that Hagrid brought with him, he distanced himself from the class and whispered an excuse in Blaise's ear before he left.

He went to follow the Godly presence and as he approached closer he realized it wasn't a god at all, but instead a monster.

But it wasn't just any monster, it was Mrs. O'Leary.
