Spirit form was easy but strange, though natural as well.

Atalanta was following after the Master known as Shirou Emiya, and his servant Artoria Pendragon, otherwise known as King Arthur. Currently, the most powerful known servant in the Grail war itself. If she could bring the threat down, she absolutely would the first chance that she got. The sad part was that Saber was not the only threat that she had to contend with.

Rin Tohsaka and her Archer were always somewhat nearby.

The second she launched an attack and killed Saber, was the second that she would be wide open to be finished off as well. So, during the day she followed around Shirou and his servant, who insisted that she never leave his side.

'Something is wrong about him... and this boy...' Atalanta kept close enough to the boy that she managed to catch his scent, and from how close the Archer got, she had gotten his scent as well. She had a sense of smell that was the same as a lion's sense of smell, and her eyes were second to none.

The difference was simple.

The Archer had the same smell as this boy, but his scent was stained with blood and iron, but at it's base, it was the same scent. There was also the scent of burnt out magic circuits, and when you severely burnt out your magic circuit, it had the little side effect of darkening your skin. At a glance, it would be impossible to see how they were the same, but it was age and experience that was the biggest differences.

'... When I look closely at their faces, there are undeniable similarities, but I could be wrong... but their scents are too similar. Master, Master.' Atalanta mentally contacted Naruto through their bond. She wanted to ask for his opinion on her theory, and if she was right what should be done about it.

'Sup.'

'The identity of Archer of White... after tailing Saber of White's Master, I have noticed they bare too many similarities... their scents, faces, and even the smell of their mana are too similar.' Atalanta gave some of the information. '... I believe that Archer, may be Emiya from the future...'

'Any other evidence?'

'None, but he glares at the boy... I have also noticed that Archer of White has gone off, towards where Medea is taking residence. Her scent is on him... there is a chance that if I kill the boy, then Archer of White will disappear... a small chance.' Atalanta wanted to be able to kill 2 birds with one stone. If she killed Shirou Emiya, then there was a chance that she could take out 2 servants with one arrow. At the very least, she could get rid of the most powerful threat to her own chances of winning.

Artoria could not be allowed to survive much longer in this war.

She knew the basic locations of all Masters of White and their servants, but she had been really going after Saber and her Master simply because she was the greatest threat. Once Saber was taken care of, she could make her move to check out some of the masters of black as well.

-With Naruto-

"So... I want a temporary truce, just until Medea is defeated." Naruto offered his alliance to the one person who had enough reason to believe him... that was not Gaara.

Rin Tohsaka.

He was in her house, and her servant was standing behind her as she sat. His own Assassin of White (Black now) was standing behind him.

"... That isn't your servant." Rin noted when she looked at the assassin. The assassin that she recognized as the one who attacked them. "Before we talk truces... what is up with this?" Rin pointed towards the brown skinned assassin.

Naruto smiled.

"... She killed my Archer, and we formed a contract... so now she is my servant. Thanks to her, I know that Medea, Caster of White, is planning something... wrong. My Archer had recognized Medea as huge threat awhile back too." Naruto explained why he wanted to offer the truce. "... He Noble Phantasm is supposedly Rule Breaker, which can break all forms of magical contract... meaning..."

"She can break the bonds between Master and Servant, yeah... that is truce-worthy... but just the two of us?" Rin asked Naruto with a raised eyebrow.

Naruto sent a message to Atalanta.

'Thanks for the info.'

"Well, I have another ally who can help us... and what is more... Archer... your goal, what is your goal for the Holy Grail war?" Naruto asked Archer directly.

"I have no goal and no memories."

"... Well that is perfect, you see... my Assassin here, she has no wish for the grail. Her only desire is to be with me, so I have no reason to betray you. Right now, my only goals are to take down Medea, and to take down King Arthur or her Master." Naruto spoke, and he saw Archer uncross his arms and look towards Naruto.

Rin on the other hand stood up.

"Why him!?"

"King Arthur is a super dangerous servant... if you don't want to take them down, we can always just... not have a truce. We can't fight during the day." Naruto could see that Archer was interested in the truce and forming an alliance.

"Rin, take the truce... I have no chance to beat Saber at her full power, her Noble Phantasm is just too strong for most servants to match. This might be out only way forward, I highly suggest you take this." Archer was all in. "... and the quickest way would be to kill the boy."

'Atalanta... you're right, this guy is only interested in killing Shirou. I think you're right about this guy actually being Shirou from the future.' Naruto responded to the earlier statements. Rin was still standing up, and she was biting her thumb in frustration. She glared at her own servant for suggesting something, and he noticed the glare.

He played it cool.

"No... NO! I am not turning against Emiya, I'm not doing it!" Rin made her decision.

Assassin got ready for a fight.

Archer clicked his teeth, but he had a genuine anger in his eyes at her words. Naruto raised his hand up and got Assassin to stand down, because he could feel her worry.

"Rin... if you don't agree to this alliance, you could lose your life... and I'm not threatening you. Medea seems to be planning something, and..." Naruto's eyes widened when a sword was placed at Rin's throat.

"Take the deal Rin."

"Archer, you're going to betray me!?" Rin was shocked and the betrayal was on her face.

She had a very expressive face.

"Not if you take the deal. Originally, I planned to join Medea and have her break out contract, then I would kill Medea, and use my broken contract to go and kill Shirou... but this works better for me-"

"Archer! By Command Spell, I order you to stand down!"

"Are..." Naruto had no words as he watched Rin use her second command spell, to force Archer to stand down. She was glaring at Archer, who just sighed and looked at her like she was an idiot. She was down to a single command spell left. "... so no alliance?"

"No alliance if you're going after Emiya! You! You were going to betray me!?"

"Master." Serenity whispered to Naruto, since it seemed like they were intruding on something private at this point. Naruto waved his hand, to show her that he still had the situation under control.

"Medea is our biggest concern right now, and tomorrow night-"

"Shut up."

"Assassin... prepare to hold me back before I smack this woman." Naruto took a very deep calming breath, because he had a temper. He had a horrible temper when people were rude to him like that, and it was taking everything he had in him to not smack Rin for shouting that at him.

"Sorry, my Master is... troublesome at the best of times. Rin, you are down to your last command spell, and I suggest you not waste it. If you don't take their alliance, I will betray you... and the only way you can stop me is with a command spell... which you have only one of."

Rin scratched at both sides of her head.

"It isn't right though, why does Emiya have to die... why do you even care if he lives?"

"I just want him dead, don't worry about the reasons... Master of Assassin, my Master is somewhat... stubborn. I have a question... why aren't you going to the other Black Masters for help?" Archer asked a question that caused Rin to snap out of her anger, and looked to Naruto for an answer.

"Actually... he has a point... why come to us?" Rin was intelligent.

As emotional as she could be, she was too intelligent to let it cloud her judgement for too long.

"I don't trust them... they all teamed up pretty quickly, and the guy who is acting like the leader... gives me the creeps. At least you and I are enemies, but I think I can trust you more than them. Well, lets get out of here Assassin, she doesn't want an alliance."

"Emiya lives... but Saber dies... how about that." Rin offered a counter offer.

Naruto nodded.

"Honestly, that works even better... but are you okay with that Archer?" Naruto asked Archer, who seemed to be angered by it.

He sucked it up.

"Artoria is a servant that even if we have a group of servants, we would be hard pressed to take her down... she is a hero easily on par with Heracles. The quickest, easiest way is to kill the boy... but it seems my Master is adamant about not doing that... and I'm sure if I try to betray her, she will use that last command spell... so I will submit."

"I would make you kill yourself the second you looked like you would betray me." Rin stated coldly to Archer.

Naruto turned to Serenity.

"... I'm happy that you and I have a good relationship." Naruto stated to her, and she nodded her head in agreement to the statement. 'Atalanta... I am even more thankful to have a servant like you... the plan is a go by the way... and if you see a chance to take out Saber, go for it... Rin and Archer won't stop you.' Naruto sent a message to Atalanta.

"Do you have a plan to take down Medea."

"Oh, I have a plan." Naruto confirmed for Rin with a grin.

He had the perfect plan.

-With Atalanta-

That was the confirmation she needed.

'The second I have a shot where your guard is down, the second... the microsecond I get a chance, my arrow will be in your skull.' Atalanta was a hunter stalking her prey, and she was in it for the long haul if she needed. Now she had her master's order, and she had the promise that she could get a kill shot without nearby servants getting in her way.

It would be a cheap shot, but it would be worth it.

The only time she would leave her target, would be to go and watch over her master when he went to confront Medea and deal with her. Medea was a bigger threat than Saber was, not from a strength standpoint, but because she was crafty.

She was sure there would be no craftier servant in the war than Medea.
