A couple of days passed since the events at the Thai Temple have come and gone and a lot had happened during that day that left a lot of questions that needed answering. But during the day at the Thai Temple. Anne, Charlie, the Plantars, Anne's parents, Charlie's mother, aunt and the women of his home continued to have a day of fun at the Thai Temple after the battle with the dragonfly robots had been defeated. Even Dr. Jan had some fun with them.
The Thai community at the temple were impressed by Charlie's singing and dancing, his respect for the elderly, his positive role model influence on the children, how powerfully strong and fast he is and they all felt touched when they learned how Anne and Charlie first met and how they bonded along with how he confessed his love to her. To them, it was like hearing a fairy tale.
The women were feeling like they've fallen in love with Charlie, Anne and their love story. The men and women were honored with how Charlie and Hop Pop bonded as father and son throughout their time as they all knew that Dante was the reason why Charlie had dad issues that were impossibly hard on him but Hop Pop and his father figure like influence on Charlie was what helped Charlie to be over it.
Hop Pop bonded with Charlie's grandparents over family, traditions, and farming. All three subjects that they both agreed with wholeheartedly.
"So your real name is Hopediah, is it?" asked Yamato.
"Yes, everyone calls me Hop Pop." answered Hop Pop.
Yamato, Charlie's grandfather, without warning, pulled Hop Pop into his arms to hug the elderly male frog which Hop Pop was surprised at first but he hugged back. Yoruichi hugged the elderly male frog as well.
"We heard about what went on when Dante arrived for the last time as well as how much of a father figure you've become to Charlie. What you've done for our Mago is something that no other man has done for our Charlie. We're grateful for you." said Yamato.
"You truly are his Otōsan no sugata. That means father figure." said Yoruichi while translating some Japanese.
After they released their arms from him and he was standing on his frog like feet. He had a proud grin upon his face.
"I'm truly proud to call him my son as he feels comfortable and proud to call me his Otōsan." said Hop Pop proudly.
There was a sudden play of Synth-pop music playing as Hop Pop, Sprig, Polly, Anne, Dr. Jan, Charlie's family and Anne's parents turned to see that Charlie was dancing like a professional while he made his way over to Hop Pop.
"Otōsan, let's show them how a father and son really dances." said Charlie as he took hold of Hop Pop by the waist and lifted him up.
"Let's show these people we're still standing." said Hop Pop with excitement.
Charlie carried Hop Pop off to the center nearby and placed him on his feet as the two began to dance to the music. Hop Pop may have not been a good dancer in the beginning when Anne first taught Hop Pop to dance but he's picked up really fast since then. There was a male singer that sang out to the music as Charlie and Hop Pop had their first father and son dance together. The male singer was a twenty-one-year-old Thai adult who had quite the good singing voice like Charlie.
"You could never know what it's like. Your blood like winter freezes just like ice and there's a cold lonely light that shines from you. You'll wind up like the wreck you hide behind that mask you use"
Charlie and Hop Pop placed their hands in front of their faces to make it look like they wore masks but removed their hands from their faces as they got a few laughs from some people while they continued to dance together like the father and son they truly are.
"And did you think this fool could never win? Well, look at me, I'm a-coming back again. I got a taste of love in a simple way and if you need to know while I'm still standing you just fade away. Don't you know I'm still standing better than I ever did? Looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid. And I'm still standing after all this time"
Some people began to dance with them from behind like a group who put on a pair of sunglasses while Charlie and Hop Pop were having a blast.
"Picking up the pieces of my life without you on my mind"
That's when the Thai male adult would sing out "I'm still standing" twice while the people around them would sing out "Yeah, yeah, yeah" twice. So many people were adored yet proud about how Charlie and Hop Pop were bonding like a normal father and son since they knew Charlie once had dad issues but now is over them and had healed from it since than which was thanks to Hop Pop's fatherly love and support towards him. Someone tossed two canes towards them and both Charlie and Hop Pop caught them and were dancing around with the canes.
"Once I never could've hoped to win. You're starting down the road leaving me again. The threats you made were meant to cut me down and if our love was just a circus, you'd be a clown by now"
A couple of Thai adults, one male and the other female danced on by and struck a pose as they had their faces painted to look like clowns. They waved at everyone before they joined the others in the dancing nearby.
"You know I'm still standing better than I ever did? Looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid. I'm still standing after all this time. Picking up the pieces of my life without you on my mind"
The Thai male adult sang out "I'm still standing" twice while the people around them would sing out "Yeah, yeah, yeah" twice. And that's when a guitar solo was being played and Charlie began to levitate into the air while Hop Pop started to levitate into the air with him as they were levitating twelve feet into the air while Charlie took hold of Hop Pop's hands and he took hold of Charlie's hands as the two were floating that high into the air.
"Are you doing this?" asked Hop Pop.
"I think it's part of my power. I'm able to do it with my mind somehow." answered Charlie.
"The only way I'd fly is with my family and my son." said Hop Pop proudly.
"Same with me and the entire family and with you, Otōsan." said Charlie proudly.
They would levitate together as they held each other in their arms and the people were not only impressed but looking like they've witnessed something miraculous.
"Don't you know that I'm still standing better than I ever did? Looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid. And I'm still standing after all this time. Picking up the pieces of my life without you on my mind"
This time, as the Thai male adult sang out "I'm Still Standing" and the other dancers sang out "Yeah, yeah, yeah" they sang out those words six times as the music was getting softer till it came to a stop and everyone stopped dancing while Charlie levitated both Hop Pop and himself back down to the ground safely on their feet.
Everyone applauded for their performance and both Hop Pop and Charlie embraced each other in a hug while many of them uttered an adored "Awww" at the sight.
"No matter how things get. We're both still standing." said Hop Pop.
"Just like the singer Elton John." Charlie said proudly.
The Second Day
Everything days after the events at the Thai Temple cooled down while everyone who saw that the Plantars are beings from another world, Charlie and his family having powers of extraterrestrial origin was kept secret. But when Charlie's mother, aunt and the women of the house as well as his grandparents talked to him, the Plantars and the Boonchuys about the reason why Charlie and them also have powers like Charlie does. What they told them was a shock to the system.
"So we're all not completely human?" said Charlie with a raised eyebrow. "And you knew about my gold powers?"
"When you hit puberty not long after you turned thirteen. You started to show signs of your powers developing. You were much faster on your feet or much faster in any physical related things, stronger than most people out there, your athletic abilities were excelled beyond anyone who was so much as a professional, even your health had been a lot better than even the most fit human beings. All your physical abilities shown signs of being as though you were superhuman and everything else just kept developing as time passed on. The rest of us are full blooded Leotárians but since I'm a Leotárian and Dante was human, your half human, half Leotárian." explained Kikyo.
"Wait, you mean Charlie is a hybrid?" said Anne looking surprised.
"Just like the children of that guy from Universe seven." said Charlie appearing to be stoic yet feeling shocked to the system. "Are there more of us here?"
Kagura was about to say something but Hayami telepathically warned her not to get too graphic. So Kagura let out a breath and pulled Charlie into her arms and her hugging grip was gentle this time.
"Other than our family. There's more Leotárians out there that survived after our home planet was completely destroyed. Those who were remaining settled here on earth." said Kagura being subtle.
"Then that has some questions that need answering." said Charlie.
"What destroyed your home planet? How long has it been since it was destroyed? How long as the remaining of your home planet been on earth? And how many people are remaining of Leotárian race?" Anne asked. "Wait, maybe these are question Charlie should ask."
"With all of you aware of our powers, our hidden origins and all that jazz. You all basically have a right to know now." said Imani chiming in. "It's been one hundred years since our home planet Leotária was destroyed. It was destroyed by an angry warlord who came from another world himself. He was said to have been given life for his crimes but he escaped and he blamed the Leotárians for his imprisonment since a leader of our kind testified against him when he tried to take over our home planet. But he failed. Sometime before our home planet was destroyed, some of us settled down here on earth because the person who testified against the enemy was a family member of ours and we were told to hide here on earth like a witness protection program. Our entire family along with others of our home planet came with us since one of us confirmed that earth is safe to be from the conflict that was going on at the time. But once this warlord escaped, we found out that he blasted our planet to full annihilation with a power he possessed, they killed him to try and prevent his actions but it was too late. That warlord was dead as our home planet."
"The amount of Leotárians that were hiding here on earth are the only remnants of our race that live here on earth. As for how long the remaining of our race been on earth. It's been slightly over one hundred years. The remaining of our race was once at a specific number but now that time has passed and some of us died from natural causes. The Matsuda family are now the remaining of the Leotárians which is still plenty since we have a big family." explained Mabel. "We've made friends with those born here on earth and no one except the Plantars, the Boonchuys and now the Thai community know of our alien origin."
Hearing all of this not only surprised the Boonchuys, the Plantars and even Charlie but it also felt saddening that their home planet got destroyed by an evil warlord who is also deceased which meant the remaining of the Leotárians are on earth as they rebuilt their lives, settled on earth and they've kept their secret about their extraterrestrial origins from everyone.
"What about this Lion's Fury. What is that?" asked Charlie.
"It's the name of the Leotárian's power, or at least when we're at full power. A full blooded Leotárian is powerful with such a power. But since your half human and half Leotárian, there's never been a hybrid of our kind. So you might be the most powerful of the Leotárian race. Or so the rumors of our race has theorized." answered Elena with an explanation. "At full power, we're as strong as the furious anger of a lion."
After hearing the remainder of the explanation to the Leotárian race, their life, home planet, what happened to it, what conflict happened, and how some of the remaining remnants of the Leotárians were on earth to get away from the conflicting war that ended with the destruction of their home planet as the remnants settled on earth, even hearing about what this "Lion's Fury" is. All of what Charlie's mother, aunt and the women of the house explained to him, Anne, the Plantars and the Boonchuys felt like it was all starting to make sense. With the warlord dead. They knew they wouldn't have to worry about this warlord returning.
"Charlie, honey, Anne, Plantars, Boonchuys. I know how all of this sounds." said Kikyo showing worry towards Charlie.
"Actually, this is now starting to make sense." said Charlie appearing surprised yet relieved. "This explains so much as well as how this power came to be. Why my health has been nothing like the doctors ever saw in others, my strength and physical abilities being something next level, or why once when I was ten I saw Kagura with her hair going blonde when she told me it was just a blonde wig because she was going to prank someone." said Charlie listing off a few things that he noticed over the years.
The ladies of the house turned to look at Kagura with curiosity in their eyes while Kagura blushed with a big lipped grin.
"I didn't pull a prank. I just didn't tell him that my power had arisen due to a high and powerful emotion I was feeling. He was too young to know about the Leotárians and all that jazz. We did agree to tell him about it once he started showing signs of his powers developing. We just didn't count on it happening while he was in Amphibia." said Kagura in her defense.
"I can understand that. Could've been worse." said Charlie showing he understood.
"What could be worse?" said Hop Pop.
"I could've seen more of one of the ladies in the house than a ten-year-old shouldn't see." Charlie answered.
"Ha! Charlie almost saw a lady's boobies." joked Polly.
"And I got some big girls too. Maybe Charlie should see them." joked Kagura.
"No-o-o-o!" they all said in a panic with Hop Pop covering Polly's eyes and Anne covering Sprig's eyes.
"I'm just messing you guys." laughed Kagura showing she was only joking.
The Third Day
Anne, Sprig and Hop Pop were in the living room of Anne's home and she had the laptop on the coffee table as it looked like she was going to introduce them to something that's considered a thing in daily human life.
"And now, the internet." said Anne with a determined grin as she opened the laptop.
Seeing what the two frogs saw made them have an amazed look on their faces, their eyes were twinkling.
"The answers to the mysteries of the universe right at your fingertips!" said an amazed Sprig.
"It's an endless well of knowledge!" said an amazed Hop Pop with a grin.
"More like an endless well of cat videos!" said Anne pushing a button on the keyboard.
Afte pushing the button on the mouse and a button on the keyboard. They started to see a few cat videos as one of them shown a cat wearing a sky-blue shirt was playing the piano by tapping on the piano keys. They looked on an adoration at how cute the video looks. Hop Pop wondered if the cat was self-taught.
They saw another cat video that looked like the cat was animated and was dancing while it kept uttering "Meow" in a way of singing. They looked on with adoration.
"Do you think people do videos of others singing and dancing?" asked Sprig.
"Totally, I do wonder if Charlie ever did a video of himself singing and dancing." said Anne as she pushed another button.
That was when they saw what they knew had to be something so incredible that it nearly made them want to faint from surprise. They saw a video of Charlie who was singing and dancing to pop and R&B music while he wore a fancy white suit, a matching fedora and dancing looking shoes as they saw his dancing was flashy and flamboyant yet he was dancing a famous dancer. The video title read "Soul Brotha is Home and Has a Girlfriend"
"So they came into the outway, it was Sunday, what a black day. Mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, sounding heartbeats intimidations. Annie, are you OK? So, Annie, are you OK? Are you OK, Annie? Annie, are you OK? So, Annie, are you OK? Are you OK, Annie? Annie, are you OK? So, Annie, are you OK? Are you OK, Annie? Annie, are you OK? So, Annie, are you OK? Are you OK, Annie? Annie, are you OK? Will you tell us that you're OK. There's a sound at the window, then he struck you a crescendo, Annie. He came into your apartment, left a big mess on the carpet. And then you ran into the bedroom, you were struck down. It was your doom. Annie, are you OK? So, Annie, are you OK? Are you OK, Annie? You've been kissed by— You've been wooed by a smooth criminal"
They saw Charlie dancing and uttering a psyched "Oh" while striking a pose. But then he began to do something that looked physically impossible.
"OK, I want everybody to clear the area right now!"
Charlie than performed a lean that had him lean forwards at forty-five degrees with his back straight and feet flat on the floor and hold the pose for a bit which after a moment he returned to standing upright. This left Anne, Sprig and Hop Pop impressed by the stunt that Charlie pulled when that lean moved his body center of mass further than it can support but he pulled it off like he could do it blind folded.
"Wha-a-a-at?! Charlie's doing Michael's Smooth Criminal." said an impressed Anne. "He looks so gangsta right now."
"You've been kissed by. You've been wooed by a smooth criminal"
Charlie shown to do one last dance move before striking a pose and the video ended. They looked at the date and the date of the video shown to have been recent or at least some time after he stood up to Dante for being a deadbeat. But what they saw next surprised them as the video shown to have at least over four million views and growing.
"Over four million views! Wow!" said an impressed Anne.
"Your boyfriend has got the moves." said Sprig amazed.
"Just like I taught him." said Anne proudly.
Their activity was interrupted by a loud banging thud which they turned to the door the led into the garage. The door burst open as Polly kicked the door open. Polly was covered with dirt and oil on parts of her body.
"Guys, guys, guys! I did it! I fixed Frobo! Come on, check it out!" said Polly enthusiastically running into the garage.
Anne, Sprig and Hop Pop looked on with confusion with a slight mix of curiosity. They knew that Polly has been the type to do some playful, aggressive, crazy things and has shown to be a tough girl who likes to rough house but fixing a frog like robot like Frobo? They got up on their feet as they knew that this needed their attention.
The walked towards the garage door and what they saw left them surprised. They were about to say something but stopped in mid-sentence out of shock. There was various wires and plugs that were plugged into an extension cord with all plugs being plugged into the outlets, static electricity was emitting from it, parts of Frobo's body had tape on it, and Frobo's head and arm were were attached to a broken washing machine with Christmas lights flickering on and off on repeat in the broken washing machine which they slightly hung out from it's door. As Charlie was there. They saw Frobo looked like a robot that hadn't been upgraded or looked after within one hundred years.
"Polly, what did you do?" asked Charlie.
"So, what do you think? Pretty impressive, right?" said Polly patting Frobo's head but she than got zapped with by an electric charge for a brief second.
Polly jumped down to the floor and was going for another plug and an extension cord.
"Impressive's one way to put it." said Anne.
"You guys ready for this?" said Polly looking eager.
"Polly, I don't think you should turn him on yet." said a worried yet hesitant Hop Pop.
"Yeah. Are you sure you even know what you're doing?" said Anne siding with Hop Pop.
"The electronics and technology between our world and your world haven't been experimented with yet." said a worried Charlie.
"Of course, I know whta I'm doing, Anne. Everything's gonna be just fine!" said Polly as she plugged in for ignition.
They waited for something to happen but nothing happened yet. No lights turned on, no electronic humming, no movement coming from Frobo to show any signs of life and full reactivation.
"Something's supposed to happen, right?" said a confused Sprig.
"Maybe a plug is in the wrong outlet or maybe we're missing a few parts." Charlie guessed.
Their moment of conversation was interrupted and Frobo's eyes shined an orange red like light Charlie got everyone to duck down as it blasted lasers from its eyes. Charlie conjured up a force field around them and while Mr. Boonchuy was outside holding a box, a force field formed around him as so the lasers wouldn't hit him.
"IT'S ALIVE! IT'S ALIVE!" screamed Charlie.
"And it's destructive!" cried Sprig.
The lasers fired out and blasted a hole through the garage door but the laser bounced off the force field that surrounded Mr. Boonchuy, blasted a hole into the roof which a force field surrounded Domino, a few more lasers blasted into the parts of the garage walls and ceiling which left holes in the walls and roof. Anne reached through her force field and grabbed the plug to pull it.
Anne pulling the plug from its outlet turned Frobo off, its eyes turned to being black and powered down. The garage was a mess as Charlie made the force fields disappear. The garage had burn marks in the spots where the lasers blasted holes in.
"Everyone okay?" came Mr. Boonchuy's voice through the hole in the garage door.
"Still in one piece and not seven. The garage looks like a tornado hit it." reassured Charlie while looking on wide eyed at the place. "I really can't use a swear words right now since there's children in the room."
"Did I do that?" said a bewildered Polly.
"Polly, what were you thinking? You could've just killed us or yourself. Luckily for us, Charlie conjured up those force fields." said Hop Pop looking outraged.
"Sorry. Sorry. I know he's got some kinks to work out, but..." Polly began.
"Hop Pop, maybe I should take this from here?" Charlie suggested before Hop Pop could respond. "Polly, I know you had good intentions but I don't know the technology we have in our world can bring Frobo back like before. But that doesn't mean he's gone forever, no, it's probably best we wait till we get back to Amphibia and have an expert from there take this on. All of us have no experience with robots or technology involving them. We're not technicians and neither are you. This isn't like fixing a car." said Charlie with a word of comfort.
"Charlie's right Polly. It's best to wait till we get back to our world. I don't think anyone in this world knows anything about robots and neither do we. It would be like a blind man trying to fly." said Hop Pop.
"I'm with Hop Pop and Charlie, Polly. I think we should wait till we get back to Amphibia. Then maybe we can find someone who knows robots, you know?" reassured Anne.
"I know you miss him, we do too, but you just need to be patient." said Sprig with a word of comfort of his own.
"Frobo is like Kazoku to us." said Charlie.
"Hey, how about a new robot friend to play with?" said Anne getting an idea as she pulled out what looked like an electronic teddy bear from the trashcan. "This is Teddy Lumpkins. He used to be my best friend."
This robotic teddy bear that Anne shown Polly looked like a brown bear wearing a hip hop outfit. He wore a royal purple baseball cap which was worn backwards, a yellow shirt with purple sleeves, Davy's gray shorts, white socks with yellow stripes, and a gold necklace around his neck with the charm of the necklace had a gold "T" for his name. But Polly looked at it with some bewilderment as the teddy bear's eyes were not looking in the right directions as.
They heard a garbled musical tune playing as the teddy bear said in a goofy male voice "I eat eyes..." but that made everyone freak out, flinch and feel terrified yet alarmed. But then the teddy bear said "cream. I eat ice cream." which they felt a sense of comfort hearing that. Anne, Sprig and Hop Pop said a few comforting statements.
"Anne, I think the little bear might have some wires crossed if it talks that way kind of like how Loggle used to talk before he used the golden all miracle healing apple." said Charlie pointing out a flaw.
"How dare you? Frobo can't be replaced!" said Polly in a fit of outrage.
Polly jumped out from the washer machine and slapped the electronic bear out of Anne's hands and it fell to the floor while flipping over backwards a few times till it stopped and hit the wall.
"I want to nibble your fingers. He he." said Teddy Lumpkins as if dizzy and sputtering out a few last bits of static discharge. He stopped moving afterwards.
Anne, Sprig, Hop Pop and Charlie shook with creeped out disgust as if shuddering from how creepy the toy bear was.
"I think Teddy Lumpkins might be related to Charles Lee Ray." said Charlie creeped out.
Charlie than mimicked what sounded like a cute electronic voice that obviously sounded like the voice of a doll when he perfectly mimicked the voice to perfection as he uttered the words "Hi, I'm Chucky, and I'm your friend to the end. Hidey ho! Hahaha" afterwards, Charlie shuddered like a dog shaking themselves dry when water was all over the dog's body.
"You watched that film about that the spirit of a killer who put his soul in a doll when you were too young, didn't you?" guessed Anne.
"Had nightmares for a week. My family helped me recover." answered Charlie.
"And how many firm hugs and smooches did Kagura give you?" chuckled Sprig.
"Too many to count." answered a blushing Charlie.
"OK. Creepy bears and evil spirit possessed dolls aside, DON'T work on Frobo." Hop Pop warned.
"Maybe you guys are right." said Polly with a sigh as she relented.
"Wow. That's surprisingly mature of you." said Anne surprised.
"Mm-hmm. Hey, can I borrow your laptop? I heard something about funny videos that are about sports fumbles and was going to check it out." lied Polly.
"I don't see why not." said Anne looking alright with it.
"Before anyone does anything else. How about I give Polly a hand with cleaning up the garage?" suggested Charlie.
Thirty minutes had passed when Charlie and Polly cleaned up the Boonchuy's garage and Charlie helped with the heavy lifting. Afterwards, the place was clean, the holes that the lasers left were the only mess that as left as Charlie walked outside the house.
"Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy. You guys have spackle and plaster?" asked Charlie hopefully.
"Plenty of it. What happened that made some holes in the garage and the roof?" asked Mr. Boonchuy.
"A little accident but not to worry, everyone's alright." reassured Charlie.
"That explains the force fields." replied Mrs. Boonchuy.
"We'll explain everything in the garage." said Charlie.
They all went inside the garage and both Polly and Charlie explained to Anne's parents what happened. They were a bit shocked about the fact that there was a robot involved but they were glad everyone was alright but saw the majority of the mess was cleaned up.
"I know how to repair holes in the wall." said Charlie immediately volunteering.
"Actually, Charlie, would it be alright if I took this on from here? I could show Polly how we fix and patch up a hole in the wall." said Mr. Boonchuy showing some reassurance.
"You sure about this?" asked Charlie.
"As sure as I am that at the Thai Temple that you kicked some metal with how, Anne, the Plantars and your folks destroyed them drones that came from those Vloggers. You went all mini terminator on them." chuckled Mr. Boonchuy.
"Come with me if you want to live." Charlie said perfectly mimicking a deep male's voice with the perfect pitch of an Austrian accent.
"Oh Charlie." laughed Anne.
Later That Night
Mr. Boonchuy shown Polly how to patch up holes in the walls and ceiling of the garage with spackle and plaster but also shown her how to patch up the holes that the lasers left on the outside of the garage but he made sure that Polly wasn't on the roof as he felt it was better a responsible adult should do that. Polly managed to learn how to patch a hole in the wall and on the roof which Mr. Boonchuy had plenty more shingles for the roof that had holes in them, he used spackle and plaster on them and placed the shingles over them after the plaster and spackle dried from the holes they were used on to repair the holes and patch them up with.
"Mr. Boonchuy, what was Charlie doing over her earlier?" asked Polly.
"He accidentally got some of our mail and he was returning it to us. I know he probably wanted to volunteer with patching up the holes. But I figured this time I could take this on while it gives me the chance to teach you how to patch a hole in the wall. Besides, he's been so helpful towards us and his family. So I figured that this could be one less thing for him to do. That, and technically since you were tinkering with that robot you guys told me about. You could say this is sort of a punishment for you. Not a harsh one." said Mr. Boonchuy blushing.
"So my punishment was to learn how to patch a hole in case I end up causing a hole to form in the wall of your house so I know how to patch it up?" said Polly with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, but if it does happen again. You'll need adult supervision." reassured Mr. Boonchuy.
That's when Mr. Boonchuy let out a fart, a small one, but he grabbed hold of his butt as he felt a bit of pressure forming from behind him. He took off running out of the garage.
"Gang way! Bathroom!" called Mr. Boonchuy.
Polly groaned and jumped up on the nearby seat that had wheels. She sat up on there as she began to complain and talk to Frobo as she vents out some frustration.
"Eeh. I forbid you. It's dangerous" Jmm. The look on their faces was pretty funny, though, huh, Frobes?" said Polly while she looked at the still broken Frobo. "Oh, right. You're still broken. Even though my first attempt in fixing you was a total flop. It was lucky of us that Charlie put up those force fields around us. But don't worry, we can fix you. I just need to educate myself. Anne did say you can learn anything you want on the Internet. Charlie might've said the same thing but he also said we have to be careful where we go on there. I'll take his word for it."
Polly sat in front of the desk that had Anne's laptop on there as she opened it up to let the screen show itself to her.
"I guess we should give it a try. Fasten your seat belt, Frobes. We're going in." said Polly clicking on a file that took her to a search engine on the internet.
For the next two hours. Polly was searching for various sources of information that could teach her how to fix Frobo but a lot of the information and sources she found didn't get her any closer to where she was looking for. She looked up robotics on "Big Ol' Wiki" a few sources that talked about robotics that shown robots that looked like animals of various species, she looked on some shopping sites that she hoped had information she could learn from, she even got distracted by what looked like a video gif of a light purple rabbit named Bibsy who was dancing in a video, she even looked at various videos on a website that has multiple video channels on there of various things. But so far, she didn't seem to find what she was looking for.
"Well, that was two hours of my life I'll never get back. Oh, hey. What's this?" said Polly noticing a video that caught her attention from the site she was browsing on.
What Polly saw was a video titled "we built a panda robo !? (Extreme) IT GALS" it had one hundred thousand views and was pasted two days ago. The thumbnail picture shown two girls. The two girls appeared to be college aged girls.
"IT Gals. Just two girlfriends who really love robots". Coooool!" said a wide-eyed intrigued Polly while blushing.
She clicked on the video and as she saw it. The video shown the panda robot that the two college girls created which they both were adoring the panda robot they created and it's cuteness. It fell over on the table which the words "So Cute!" popped up on the left side of the screen and "Wow!" on the right side of the screen.
"Isn't he adorable?" said one of them.
"I just can't with that belly." said the other.
The video then shown the two college girls on screen. One being a slightly heavyset girl appearing to be African American while the other was a slender Japanese girl. Both of them appeared to be in their early twenties.
"Just goes to show, anyone can make and maintain a robot if you have the will, the know-how..." said the Japanese girl.
"And our step-by-step tutorials." said the African American girl pointing to a playlist of music that popped up on the video at the top.
"And remember, if it doesn't compute, it's time to reboot." said the two girls in unison as they saw their panda robot suddenly burst into flames which made them both scream and get out the fire extinguisher.
"Welp, that's all I needed to hear." said Polly clicking a button with blushing cheeks.
Polly began to listen to the playlist while she dressed up in a pale green shirt, blue overalls, put on some socks and way looked shoes and a brown cat hat that she worn backwards. The playlist she was listening to was the self-help playlist them two college girls had on their video channel.
She gotten some tools she could use while listening to the playlist. She gotten a monkey wrench and went inside the torso part of Frobo and she started to tighten up screws, lug nuts, started connected red and blue wires, putting some cute stickers on Frobo's legs as she kept listening to and watching the videos on the playlist from the two college girls. She even used a paper clip to install something in Frobo. That's when she went back to the laptop and watched what was next from the girls on their video channel.
"All right. it's time for today's topic: Souls. Do robots have them?" said the African American girl.
Their panda robot opened its mouth to speak but it sounded like old dial up internet logging on.
"It is our belief that anything with memories has a soul." said the Japanese girl.
"And boy. Do robots have memory, am I right?" said the African American girl with a big smile.
This caused one of them to crack up with a brief snort and chuckle.
"You've heard from us, now we wanna hear from you." said the Japanese girl.
"Chime in down below in the comments." said the African American girl as the video ended.
"Interesting query, ladies, but I think I'm just about finished." said Polly pulling out a switch.
Polly jumped down to the floor and pushed the button with a gleeful twinkle in her eyes and a smile. But her excitement died off instantly when Frobo didn't turn on nor did he activate. She had an annoyed expression on her face as her excitement faded fast.
"Why aren't you turning on? Mmm... It's time to call in the big guns." said Polly getting an idea. "I still wonder if Charlie even knows anything about robots or at least mechanics of one."
"I don't know. Let's ask him." came a male's voice.
Polly froze and was panicking. She heard someone and turned to see Charlie was standing four feet away from her. His face was stoic and showing no emotion yet he didn't look amused.
"What brings you here?" said Polly nervously.
"Since the brief situation earlier today had me worried. I came over here to give Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy an insurance card that covers any and all damages caused by whatever could happen to a house. I dropped by and given it to them but I heard your little mind's brainwave activity and found out you're working on Frobo after Hop Pop told you not to work on him till we get back to Amphibia." said Charlie his face remaining stoic.
"Charlie, please, I know, I shouldn't be doing this and it's dangerous but I just can't wait to get Frobo back to us. And I might've found a way to actually get him back. But please, just try this out with me. If it doesn't work, you can rat me out to Hop Pop." Polly pleaded while giving Charlie the choice of telling Hop Pop what occurred if things didn't work out. "Even you miss Frobo."
Charlie saw Polly make the big, twinkling, cute puppy dog eyes at Charlie as if to convince him to let her go through with this but as Charlie tried his hardest to resist, he sighed and couldn't deny Polly's one successful attempt to bring back a family member of theirs. He shown some compassion in his eyes.
"I miss Frobo too. Having him around is like having a robot for a friend like in the end of that one science fiction film that Will Smith was in that featured robots co-existing with humans in the year 2035." said Charlie relenting. "But just so you know. If things go south for the winter. It's best you be the one to tell Hop Pop but I'll be by your side for that."
Polly jumped up high and landed on Charlie's head as she hugged him with a squeal of excitement.
"So what's this idea in mind? Something about contacting these two college girls who have expertise in robotics?" asked Charlie.
Polly taken Charlie to the laptop and she gotten a video call started where the username on her side was "Anna_Banana" and the username for the two girls she was contacting was "IT_GALS_1" the video shown it was connecting till both Charlie and Polly were on screen from their side on the right of the screen while the two college girls were now seen on the left side.
"Hello!" greeted the Japanese girl.
"How's it going?" asked the African American girl.
"Uuh... Hi. My name's Polly, this is my older brother Charlie, my Itoko. I'm a big fan. Long story short: I have a bit of a robotics issue." said Polly introducing themselves. "Not going to lie. Charlie looks out for me and I do the same for family. So you could say he's providing some form of adult supervision just so that I'm safe online or even so I don't do anything dangerous with what we've come across in the past couple of days."
"Jess and Ally, I presume. You two are the roboticist experts from Palm Tree Community College?" Charlie guessed. "I saw some of your videos. Also, I may have an inkling about your, you know, orientation or who you choose to love in terms of romantic relationships. Just so you know. You two are so loved by your friends and family and don't let anyone shame you in your orientation preference. I do not discriminate against anyone's orientation. If your orientations are who you are. All my respect, love and acceptance to you. Learned it from my mom, my aunt and the six other women in the house."
Ally and Jess looked on at Charlie and they noticed his handsome face and full head of beautiful hair and they felt adored by what he just told them out of respect, acceptance and love towards their sexualities.
"Oh my gosh! That's so sweet." said Ally.
"Oh my gosh! You're that boy who posted that video of you singing and dancing to Smooth Criminal. You nailed. And I saw how in that video you spoke about standing up to your dad and calling him out on his neglect. Nicely done." said Jess showing how proud she is. "I heard you got a true father figure. All the love to you. And you have a girlfriend! Oh my! I saw a picture of her and she's gorgeous! If you were single. I we'd probably snatch you up. But we know better than that. You and your girl are so adorable together."
"I'll admit. I sometimes forgot how much attention that video gotten." said Charlie with a hiccup. "Jack and Rose have nothing on us."
That's when Ally and Jess noticed Frobo when both Charlie and Polly pointed him out to the two college girls.
"OH MY GOSH!" said Ally looking adored.
"Is that a robot?" asked Jess looking adored.
"He's beautiful!" said Ally but their panda robot got in the way of their screen and made the same electronic noise that sounded like a dial tone of dial up internet. That was when Ally pulled the panda robot to the side to make sure it was in nap mode. "You're in sleep mode, Pandatron."
"Hasta la vista, Pandatron. Time for your nap." Charlie said perfectly mimicking a deep male's voice with the perfect pitch for the Austrian Accent as he suddenly chuckled.
"Schwarzenegger in the house!" chuckled Jess. "Tell us everything about that robot you said you encountered an issue with. That, or tell us about that handsome cyborg you call a cousin. Hahaha! Not to worry, Charlie, I'm just making a movie reference. But you are a cutie."
"Well, he had a bit of an... accident. I think I've done a pretty sweet job of putting him back together, but he just isn't powering on. I did go through your playlist videos to see if anything would help but it's like I fixed his body but he's not turning on." Polly explained.
"That explains why she's dressed like Rob the Repairman." said Charlie.
"Well, what are you using as a power source?" asked Ally curiously.
"I just took some batteries out of the TV remote." said Polly showing them the television remote to prove it.
"Polly, batteries that we use in a TV remote-, or remote-controlled cars, planes or drones aren't gonna cut it when it comes to the robot we've got. Only if he's a huge toy the size of Vin Diesel or The Rock. I may have a Japanese heritage what with being biracial and all but even Japanese have more experience with robotics and this might be a little out of our league." said Charlie expressing some light doubt.
"Ooh, no. That will never be enough. I'm afraid tall, muscular and handsome is right about that." said Ally in agreement.
"What would you two suggest? Unless you have a power source from a science fiction film that can kick a- I mean butt. Sorry, I'm working on using less swear words." said Charlie stopping himself from swearing. "But what would you ladies suggest for a power source?"
Ally was looking on her phone to check something out.
"You could try a battery module with a compatible connector and corresponding voltage." Jess suggested.
"Like the kind they put in those creepy animatronic children's toys." said Ally as she shown them a picture on her phone of the type power source they needed.
"Wait. Did you just say creepy animatronic children's toys?" said Charlie taking notice.
"You know it, honey. Like those Teddy Lumpkins animatronic toys. Not gonna lie. They creeped me out when I was eight. Almost like that horror film that involved a serial killer who put his soul in a creepy doll." said Jess. "Why do you ask?"
Both Polly and Charlie just remembered that earlier today that Anne shown them that she used to have a Teddy Lumpkins toy that creeped them all out and both Ally and Jess just told them that the power source they could use was inside the one that Anne has that's no longer operating properly, but they knew they could use the battery module with a compatible connector and corresponding voltage that they just suggested.
"Lightbulb." said Charlie with a grin.
"I think we've got just the thing." said Polly with a sly grin as she spotted the Teddy Lumpkins toy that was motionless.
"Oh. But Polly, and Charlie, I definitely wouldn't turn him on in your garage." warned Ally.
"Yeah. You'd need to be in a big space, like a warehouse and have tons of fire extinguishers. That thing looks like it's capable of a lot of output." Jess both warned and suggested.
"Polly, maybe we should listen to them. They're the experts in this position of field. They're in college, in their twenties, they got the expertise, knowledge, experience, and they got their driver's license. I'm only thirteen and I can fix and repair a car but a robot like this one? This robot isn't a Volvo XC60. I already know that I ended up in a minor accident before and came out of it unscathed like that time I told you about." Charlie reminded. "Why don't we let Jess and Ally take the reins from here."
"Charlie's right. Robots are not like cars. I'll say it again: DO NOT do this at home." warned Ally.
"Heck. We can actually help you rent a space. It'll take a couple of weeks, but we-" Jess began.
"Thanks, girls. I'll take that into consideration. Bye!" said Polly really fast as she clicked the button to end the call on their end.
"Do you think she's gonna turn that thing on? And that hottie Charlie is probably gonna be cleaning up a big mess?" said Ally looking nervous.
"Oooh yeah..." said Jess looking worried. "But oh my gosh. That Charlie, if he was single and eighteen right now."
"We'd be all over that." said Ally chuckling.
"Hot! Hot! Hot! Yea-ah boy!" said the two college girls in excited unison.
Charlie was now turning his attention towards Polly, Frobo and the animatronic bear that was having the power source that Ally and Jess told them about.
"Polly, maybe we should try turning on Frobo elsewhere? Ally and Jess are the experts that know about such experiments being done and the safety precautions. Isn't there any extension cords we could use so we can turn on Frobo outside at least?" Charlie asked while looking worried.
"I actually searched the house and I'm using the only extension cord that was available. The other ones are what the computer, the television, the radio are all plugged into. That, and if anything bad happens. Can your force fields prevent a fire from spreading?" asked Polly while answering his question.
"Well, I do remember a superheroine from a movie where a woman used her force field from preventing a fire from spreading when her brother was using his pyro powers to stop a villain when he almost went supernova." said Charlie pointing out a possibility. "But that was a superhero film that had a little science fiction to the mix."
"What's supernova?" asked Polly curiously.
"The temperature of the sun. The sun's surface temperature is six thousand kelvins but the sun itself is five thousand, seven hundred in seventy-eight kelvins. Which at that temperature, no one and nothing can survive that hot temperature, not even the Human Flame could survive that." answered Charlie. "But my point is. I should be able to use my force fields to prevent a fire from spreading but I've never done that before."
"Yes. But I know this is a huge risk but technically, you're the one with the best supervision, so technically, I'm not doing this alone." said Polly.
Polly was about to take the battery power out of Teddy Lumpkins body as she grabbed the animatronic bear and ripped out the battery module from its back with ease. Charlie pulled Polly up and carried her to Frobo as he placed her on top of Frobo's head. Polly opened up the battery compartment, pulling the double A batteries out and plugged in the battery module that had the compatible connector and corresponding voltage, closing the battery compartment afterwards. Charlie was getting ready to conjure up a force field.
"I sure hope you know what you're doing, Polly." said Charlie nervously.
"This is it. When I hit this button, HE'LL BE BACK!" said Polly with a gasp. "We should get the fam."
"Polly wait a minute! We should ease them into this." Charlie advised.
Polly jumped off Frobo and landed on her feet. She ran towards the door and burst through it while Charlie was knowing that something big was going to happen and he felt it was going to be something bad.
"We're so toast." Charlie said with a sigh.
Polly was first through the door that led into the house and Charlie followed after her.
"I did it! I fixed him!" cried Polly with excitement.
"You what?" said Anne, Sprig and Hop Pop in shocked unison.
"Polly, we need to ease them into...oh great. We're gonna burn like crispy burned bacon." said Charlie sensing one of them is going to get it.
"I thought you were looking at cat videos. Gosh! Dang it, Polly! You outfoxed me again." said Anne with a grin and snapping her fingers. "Wait, you got Char Char involved?"
"I can explain." said Charlie.
"There was deception, yes, but don't blame Charlie, I kind of talked him into it, but I got help on the Internet and now if I press this button, he'll be back. Yay, right? Say it with me now. YAAAAY!" said Polly looking excited.
"Didn't I forbid you from working on him? It's way too dangerous for you to be messing around with things you don't understand." said Hop Pop not looking amused. "Also, getting Charlie involved isn't the best way to go about it. Even Charlie isn't familiar with robotics from our world."
"Yeah. My hair almost got singed from the last time you "knew what were doing"." said Sprig making air quote gestures.
"What if when you turn him on this time, he blows off your legs? You just got your legs. It's awesome that you fixed him, even though I might not be a fan of you getting my man involved, still, I think we should wait till we get back to Amphibia to turn him on. Just to be safe." said Anne being sympathetic.
"Seconded." said Hop Pop.
"Thirded." said Sprig.
"Charlie, how did Polly get you involved?" asked Hop Pop.
"I dropped off an insurance card to Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy but caught Polly working on Frobo and even though I was against it. Polly told me that if things went south. Then we'd tell you guys and let Hop Pop be the one to decide what to do." Charlie confessed sadly. "Sorry Polly."
"I don't believe this! After all of the work I've done, after how much I've missed him, you three wanna leave him dead like a zombie?" Polly snapped while both Anne, Sprig and Hop Pop had guilty looks on their faces. "Well, WHO NEEDS YOU, GUYS? Charlie, you in?"
"Polly, let's just think about this. If we're going to turn him on. We need a place that's far off from the public and far off from the population." said Charlie looking hesitant.
"Or I can do this." said Polly running off into the garage.
"Polly Matte!" cried Charlie. "Why didn't I run this by you guys sooner."
"Wait, Polly! Get back here!" said Sprig as all four of them followed after her.
Polly made it into the garage and closed the door behind her and locked it. Anne, Sprig, and Hop Pop knocked on the door, trying to get Polly to stop what she was doing. Hop Pop called out to Polly to try and get her to stop as it was too dangerous.
"Charlie, teleport yourself in there." Hop Pop suggested.
"You got it!" said Charlie.
Charlie teleported himself into the garage as he saw that Polly was going to turn on Frobo as she had the switch on her.
"I ain't waiting another second to see my best friend again." said Polly pointing the switch at Frobo.
"Polly wait!" cried Charlie.
Polly ignored them and pushed the red button. Cyan electric shockwaves emitted around Frobo's body, then the lights and power all around the Boonchuy's house were flickering on and off, starting to short the power throughout the entire Boonchuy household.
"She really pushed it." said Charlie in a deep and low toned voice.
Polly looked on with a grin as the electric shockwaves eventually stopped emitting and Frobo's cyan eyes were glowing and he appeared to be activated. Charlie was shocked. What Polly did actually worked.
"Start up engage. Model number F0-R1. Factory settings restored." said Frobo his voice sounding slightly different as he sounded like he was more robotic when his usual voice sounds like a soft whisper.
"He's alive! He's alive! In the name of God! Now I know what it's like to be God!" Polly cried out with a laugh.
"You've been watching Frankenstein, haven't you?" Charlie guessed.
"Yes I was." said Polly in a sing song voice.
Frobo's eyesight looked like everything he saw had a tent of blue in his eye lenses. Polly hopped up onto Frobo and was in his line of vision.
"Frobo? Is that you? It's me, Polly! And over here is Charlie. You remember us?" said Polly trying to get Frobo to remember them.
"Username not recognized. Will now attempt to make contact with headquarters. A higher vantage point is necessary." said Frobo.
"A higher vantage point?" said Polly appearing stumped.
Frobo placed his hands and arms down and activated the thrusters built into his hands and that's when Charlie jumped up and held onto both Polly and Frobo as he conjured up a force field around all three of them.
"Brace yourself!" cried Charlie.
Frobo launched them up into the air and they literally went through the garage roof. Polly screamed as they were getting higher and higher into the air. Charlie saw the big hole in the garage roof and he was filled with dread and panic.
"Crap! Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy are gonna freak out when they see the hole in the garage roof!" cried Charlie.
"If the fall from this height doesn't kill us. Anne's parents will." cried Polly.
Anne, Sprig and Hop Pop ran out the front door and both Hop Pop and Sprig were in their human disguises and they saw both Charlie, Polly and Frobo flying into the air and while they looked on with panic. But to both Charlie and Polly's misfortune. Frobo's thrusters began to give out and stopped while a red error like triangle symbol was shown in his eyes.
"Booster malfunction detected." said Frobo.
"Oooohhh... that can't be good." said Polly with a look of dread.
"Hang onto something!" shouted Charlie.
Both Charlie and Polly held onto Frobo while they all began to fall from such a high height but their only hope of surviving the fall was Charlie's force field that surrounded both Charlie, Polly and Frobo. Anne, Sprig and Hop Pop looked on with worry and that's when Jess and Ally shown up on a scooter and managed to get Anne, Sprig and Hop Pop's attention.
"Hey, do you guys know Polly and Charlie? One being a little kid and the other being a hunky teenage boy? One of them has a tail and built a crazy robot while Charlie given her some supervision?" asked Jess.
Anne, Sprig and Hop Pop pointed up and both Ally and Jess looked up into the air and both Ally and Jess looked up to see Charlie, Polly and Frobo falling while surrounded by the force field that Charlie had surrounding them.
"Oh my gosh!" said Jess and Ally in unison.
"Is that a force field?" said Jess surprised.
Charlie somehow had no other choice but to activate his powers as his eyes and hair turned gold while a powerful energy wave was flashing all around him, his muscles grew bigger as he let out a loud, powerful, realistic lion like roar as he somehow managed to use as much of his strength as possible to push Frobo up as he tried to fly while pushing Frobo up to try and soften the fall and landing.
"Polly! Do something to get through to Frobo!" cried Charlie.
Polly crawled over to face Frobo face to face as she attempted to get Frobo to respond and save them as Charlie was doing his best to get his flight and strength to kick in.
"FROBO, WE'RE IN BIG TROUBLE!" shouted Polly as tears formed in her eyes. "PLEASE, IT'S ME, POLLY AND CHARLIE! YOU'VE GOT TO REMEMBER! OH, FROBO, I JUST MISSED YOU SO MUCH, AND NOW WE'RE BOTH GONNA DIE. I'M SO SORRY."
"We're losing altitude!" Charlie screamed. "Frobo! Come on, man! You got to remember us! You're like the friendlier version of the Terminator! The Terminator has nothing on you! Nothing is more powerful than the power of love!" Charlie shouted.
Both Polly and Charlie shed a tear, knowing they were about to die. A tear from Charlie and Polly trickled out of their eyes and oddly went inside Frobo's interior and reached his internal hard drive, causing an electrical shock. That's when memories from Frobo began to flash through his memory bank as he remembered the day he first met Polly, the day she convinced Hop Pop to keep him, how Polly told Frobo to hug Charlie and comfort him which had him show compassion towards someone other than Polly. And the day he tried to save Polly and stop Andrias and his robots as he got destroyed and Polly cried out to him.
That's when Frobo's eyes went from Cyan blue to glowing yellow. He looked at Polly and Charlie.
"Po... Polly. Cha... Charlie." said Frobo his voice now back to a soft whisper.
"FROBO! YOU'RE BACK! YAY! Quick, do something! We're about to hit the ground!" cried Polly.
"Frobo! Activate thrusters!" Charlie instructed.
Frobo looked down at the fast-approaching ground with a wide-eyed expression and he shown a determined expression.
"You got it, siblings." said Frobo.
Frobo had his arms down and the thrusters activated and at first, it appeared to be working to try and make their approaching landing become a safe one. But then his left thruster from his left arm turned off and that only made him uneven and they were falling as Frobo took hold of Polly and looked at Charlie.
"Charlie, take Polly with you." said Frobo as Charlie knew what he said was something he had to do. "Polly, go with Charlie if you want to live."
"Polly, grab hold of me." Charlie cried out.
Frobo handed Polly over to Charlie which once Charlie took hold of Polly in his arms. Charlie's force field disappeared and Frobo was falling down and crashed through the top of a tree, bounced off the roof of the garage which formed another hole and landed in the Boonchuy's backyard. Charlie flew down to the backyard and landed on his feet safely while Anne, Sprig, Hop Pop, Ally and Jess ended up in the backyard as there was a huge hole in the ground where Frobo was. It was like a crater. They all came around towards Charlie as his eyes and hair turned back to their original colors and his muscles turned back into their normal size. Polly opened her eyes and she was unscathed like Charlie.
"I got her." said Charlie as he handed her over to Sprig.
"She's OK!" reassured Sprig.
"Oh thank frog! Charlie, you okay too?" said Hop Pop.
"Still in one piece." reassured Charlie.
They all walked over towards Frobo and saw he was now nothing but a head. Polly ran towards Frobo and tears welled up into her eyes while Charlie shed a tear of his own. The loss of someone close to them was heartbreaking for them all but it was more painful for Polly to bear.
"You guys were right. I was so impatient with bringing him back to life that I killed him all over again. And I dragged Charlie into the situation." said Polly sadly.
Anne, Sprig, Hop Pop had gathered around to hug Polly in an attempt to console her while Charlie, Ally and Jess looked on and saw that Frobo's eyes were flickering till they were staying on and Charlie smiled.
"He's still alive!" Charlie cried out with excitement.
"Po... Polly." came Frobo's voice.
They all looked at the now alive Frobo as he was still just a head but a fully functional and still alive head as Frobo shown a saddened face as seeing Polly in tears had him saddened as well. Polly came running towards him with a smile.
"FROBO! You big lovable lug! I'll fix you right this time and be slow and careful. No matter how much I miss ya." said Polly happily hugging Frobo.
Frobo smiled as Polly embraced him. Charlie jumped up ten feet into the air and landed on his feet in victory.
"You can't keep a good robot down." Charlie said happily.
"So this is the robot you spoke of." said Jess and Ally in unison.
"Sturdy!" said Ally with a sparkle in her eyes.
"Impressive!" said Jess with a sparkle in her eyes.
"Looks like his hard drive is still one piece at least." said Ally examining Frobo.
"I think next time. we just need to tune the PID controllers." said Jess also examining Frobo.
"Oh yeah. Increase his lateral and longitudinal stability. Totally." said Polly as Jess was rubbing Frobo's head.
"Mmm... I'm just curious, what was the covariance of the pose estimate coming out out of the SLAM module?" asked Jess looking curious.
"Simultaneous Localization and Mapping"? Well..." said Polly.
The conversation between Ally, Jess and Polly continued while Anne, Sprig, Hop Pop and Charlie looked on with a grin.
"Wow. Polly really got into this computer stuff, huh?" said Anne impressed.
"A lot better than I ever could." said Charlie as he took hold of Anne's hand and she took hold of his.
"Mmm... Maybe we shoulda used the interwebs to educate ourselves too instead of watching cat videos." said Hop Pop with a realization. "Also, Charlie, we saw that video of you posted of you dancing and singing like that singer named Michael."
"And I've been kissed by. I've been wooed by a smooth criminal." said Anne pulling Charlie into her arms.
Anne pulled Charlie into her arms and planted her big and soft lips to Charlie's lips as the two blushed while kissing each other. That's when Ally, Jess, Hop Pop, Polly and Frobo looked on as they smiled from the sight of both Anne and Charlie having a romantic kiss. They both pulled their lips off each other's in a loud pop. Both Ally and Jess looked on with blushing grins.
"The famous Charlie Matsuda in person." said Jess.
"And this is his girlfriend! Ahhhh!" said Ally with excitement. "Charlie actually has alien powers like Roku! And you must be his girlfriend. Charlie, she's gorgeous. You two are perfect together."
"Anne, me and Polly talked to Jess and Ally on a video chat when we were trying to reactivate Frobo. They're the robotics experts that gave us a lead to how we could get Frobo reactivated. I didn't flirt with them, even though they're really sweet girls, they're both in a relationship of their own and you and I are in a relationship as well." Charlie said blushing as if trying to let Anne know he wasn't cheating.
"He's telling the truth, Anne. We sort of flirted with him but we respect that he's with you as me and Ally are already in a relationship ourselves and he only wants you. Not some hot older woman." said Jess reassuring Anne there was no form of adultery going on.
Anne and Charlie let out a sigh of relief as Anne pulled Charlie into her arms closer while Charlie was kissed on his cheek by Anne.
"I only want my soul sista." said Charlie proudly.
"And I only want my soul brotha." said Anne proudly.
"Did someone say cat videos?" said Sprig pulling out Anne's phone.
Anne, Sprig, Hop Pop and Charlie saw a cat video playing on Anne's phone which was one that appeared similar to the last one they saw. Anne, Sprig, Hop Pop and Charlie were dancing around to the video as well as the music that it had in the background. Even Polly, Jess and Ally were dancing.
"Ain't that cute?" said Hop Pop.
That's when their little celebration moment got interrupted when Mr. Boonchuy came out and saw the damages to his backyard.
"The backyard!" screamed Mr. Boonchuy.
They were all about to try and figure out what they could say or do to make Mr. Boonchuy feel less outraged or less shocked but than an idea came to Charlie's mind.
"Lightbulb." said Charlie. "Mr. Boonchuy, I got an idea to fix all the damages to your backyard and to your house."
Charlie jumped up out of the small crater and he went inside Anne's house as they were wondering what he was about to do and they did hear what sounded like a blender being used but then he came out from Anne's house with a plastic bottle of gold liquid in one hand and a syringe in the other.
"Charlie, what are you doing?" Mr. Boonchuy asked not understanding what was about to happen.
"Everyone, come out of the crater now." instructed Charlie.
Charlie given the bottle and syringe to Mr. Boonchuy while he held out his hands to grab hold of anyone to pull them out. First, he pulled Anne out of the crater, then Sprig, Polly, Hop Pop, Jess and Ally, which Ally was holding onto Frobo.
"So strong." said Ally and Jess in amazed unison.
"Mr. Boonchuy, the syringe and bottle." Charlie said.
Mr. Boonchuy given Charlie the bottle and syringe back as Charlie used the syringe to dip the needle into the opened bottle. He pulled a dose of the gold liquid into the syringe and he knelt down to place the needle into the ground and injected the gold liquid into the ground.
"Anne, what's your boyfriend doing?" said Mr. Boonchuy now growing curious.
"Have a little faith." Charlie told him. "This should work."
"What should work?" said Mr. Boonchuy.
Charlie got up and stepped back. What they saw was like watching the growth process of a tree being put on fast forwards in time where a normal tree takes decades to be fully grown but this was like speeding the process up to where it fully grown within seconds.
The grown started to lightly glow a gold light and the hole in the ground began to look like it was filling up with dirt and the grass in the spot was regrowing. It was like they were pushing the rewind button on time as the hole was disappearing, the grass was regrowing and to their shock. It took less than a minute for the hole to have disappeared and the grass to regrow back. The hole and the damages to the backyard had disappeared like the damages never happened. Everyone looked on with shock but Mr. Boonchuy was both shocked yet relieved.
Charlie injected the remaining liquid from the syringe and into the bottle. He closed the bottle by twisting the lid back on it.
"One drop or one injection of this and it should fix any if not all damages to the property. Do not lose it." Charlie instructed as he given Mr. Boonchuy the bottle of gold liquid and the syringe was placed in a box that got closed up.
Mr. Boonchuy turned to Charlie and pulled him into his arms to hug him as he was jumping for joy.
"K̄hx k̄hxbkhuṇ! Mạn pĕn pāt̩ih̄āriy̒!" cried Mr. Boonchuy joyously.
"Translation?" asked Jess curiously.
"He's just glad that the damages to his house and the property has an easier solution." Charlie translated. "As for what I just did. It's a long story."
