Babs Seed Finds Her New Life
Upon returning to Manehatten from Ponyville, the little earth pony filly, named Babs Seed, reflected on her first visit to her cousin, Apple Bloom, who lives in Ponyville. "Well," Babs Seed said to herself, "Wasn't cool and fun at all."
When she first arrived at Ponyville, she tried to befriend Apple Bloom's friends Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo, but upon being manipulated by Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoons, she bullied her cousin and her friends, but then she saw the error of her ways.
It is true that she was bullied while living in Manehatten, and she had let those feelings and experience interfere with her visit.
But she'd vowed not to let that again as she'd almost became the laughingstock of Ponyville because of it. "Now it's time!" Babs Seed said when the train pulled into the Manehatten station. "Well," the guard said, "It is now time! Manehatten station! Well, you know the ways."
"Uh, right, mister," Babs Seed replied, "I mean it."
After every other pony gotten off the train, Babs Seed followed and was greeted by her parents. "Oh, hey, mother and father," Babs Seed said upon seeing her parents. Her parents had greeted her with a welcome, but it wasn't really much of a welcome to Babs Seed.
Actually, it wasn't anything to her at all.
When her parents took her home, she headed off to her room to reflect on her behavior in Ponyville. "It was because I was bullied here in the first place," she said, "And I've let it happen again!"
A few minutes later, her parents walked into her room. They've knocked on the door first, of course. "Um, Babs?" the mother called when they've entered, "What's going on?" They saw their daughter walking around in a circle.
"Did you enjoy your visit?" the father asked, "Your cousin?" "Well," Babs Seed replied, trying to think of what to say. "What's wrong?" the father asked. "I was awful because," Babs Seed answered, beginning her story.
"It happened, right?" the mother asked. "Yes," Babs Seed began, "I let some jerks get to me and I took my anger out on my cousin and her friends." "Oh," Babs Seed's mother said, "You've-" "Don't go on, mom," Babs Seed said, "I've bullied my own cousins just to please these two jerk fillies."
"We understand," Babs Seed's father replied, "Seriously, you should have told us about your bullying problem in the first place." "Yes," Babs Seed answered surprised. "Oh, and just to let you know," Babs Seed's mother said, "A certain alicorn sent us the message." "Oh," Babs Seed responded in amazement.
"It is true," Princess Luna said from a distance, "Can't let things remain in the dark." "Applejack is right," Babs Seed went on, "I should have told you about my bullying problems. And it would have-"
"Don't worry," the mother said, "I've talked to the school about your problem." "We've already discussed it with your teachers," the father said, "And they say they'll help you out."
"Oh, thanks," Babs Seed answered with a smile, "And from now on, I'll speak up for myself. And soon there's one more thing to do." "What's that?" Babs Seed's parents asked together. "Make it up to my cousin for all the pain I've put them through," Babs Seed answered triumphantly. "That's a good idea," her parents agreed.
Later, it became nighttime. Before Babs Seed fell asleep, she thought about something important. "I swear," Babs Seed concluded, "It will never happen again!" With that said, she could now sleep easily. She had already decided that she is going to be a better cousin to Apple Bloom when she visits Ponyville next time.
However, when she had next gone to Ponyville, the experience turned out not to be exactly what she had expected. This was for the Apple family reunion and things went about at least you'd expect it.
But the next time she returned to Ponyville, things will be different.
Months later, when Babs Seed's parents had to go to Ponyville to meet up with Princess Celetisa, Babs Seed wanted to go with them. Her parents agreed and took their daughter to Ponyville.
Upon arriving in Ponyville this time, Babs Seed immediately ran into three familiar fillies. "Babs Seed is back again!" it is Apple Bloom, Babs Seed's cousin. "Apple Bloom!" Babs Seed said when she saw her cousin for the first time in months, "I'm really happy to see you again!"
"So are we!" Apple Bloom said. "We are happy!" Sweetie Belle squealed. "Me fourth!" Scootaloo chirped. "Well," Babs Seed said, "Then we are all happy!" "Hopefully you won't have to do any ridiculous tasks this time," Apple Bloom said, "In fact, the only activity we'll be doing is being together!"
"Right that way!" Babs Seed agreed. "There are so many things going no now!" said Scootaloo, "I don't know where to start!" "Well," Sweetie Belle said, "What about that over there?" They all saw a familiar sight in Ponyville.
Of course, the zero-IQ pony, named Mountain Moron, was wandering nearby, still being stupid as usual and wander around cluelessly. "Hey," Babs Seeds said at last. "Oh, that's Mountain Moron," Apple Bloom explained, "He's not smart at all."
"Oh," Babs Seed replied, "Anyway." "So?" Apple Bloom said. "Watch this," Babs Seed said as she did a trick with an apple. This impressed Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. "Cool!" Sweetie Belle said.
But then, Babs Seed tossed the apple too hard. It bounced off of Mountain Moron and it landed on a tough looking pony.
This pony is of course one of Mega Crusher's friends and he thought Mountain Moron had hit him with the apple. He was so insulted that he grabbed Mountain Moron, swung him around hard, and sent him flying far away. "Good trick, Babs Seed." said Scootaloo.
"So long, idiot!" Apple Bloom called out, "Even though we'd didn't meant for that to happen." "Okay?" Babs Seed asked. "Because, Rainbow Dash," Scootaloo explained, "That dumb pony can never get her name right at all! She says he doesn't have a brain, period!"
"And my sister says he's incapable of staying still for stallion dresses!" Sweetie Belle added. "Okay?" Babs Seed said, "So I take it that idiot is a nuisance, right?" "Yeah!" Scootaloo said. "Now as the Cutie Mark Crusaders," Apple Bloom said, "We're going to do something other than comment how dumb that Mountain Moron is."
"That will be my job," Discord said, sneakily. From someplace.
"Forget him," Scootaloo said at last, "Let's go out and enjoy ourselves!" "Right," Babs Seed said.
Soon enough, they ran into Twist. "Hello," she said, "I take it that's your cousin, Apple Bloom." "Yes," Apple Bloom replied happily, "Twist, meet my cousin, Babs Seed! And Babs Seed, meet my friend, Twist. She's still my friend even though she got her cutie mark first."
"Nice to meet you, Babs Seed," Twist said. This time, they've also agreed to avoid Silver Spoons and Diamond Tiara at all cost. They don't want another repeat of history.
There will be something special for the little fillies when Babs Seeds comes next time for her visit. But that's another story for another day. "But for now," Apple Bloom said, "Let's enjoy our visit now!" "Right!" Babs Seed agreed, "So what's next?"
Soon enough, Babs Seed's parent had arrived. "We can spend time with each other," Babs Seed's mother said. "So you're Babs Seed's parents," said Apple Bloom. "Nice to meet you," said Sweetie Belle. "I thought you were talking to Princess Celestia," said Babs Seed.
"We've had to end the meeting early," Babs Seed's father explained, "Because of some brainless idiot flew into our building and wrecked everything." "Oops," said Babs Seed.
