Mission For The Different Six
One day in Equestria, Fluttershy was doing her daily chores. Feeding the animas is what's she doing now. "There you go, little one," she said to a group of mice, but then she realized her mistake "Oh, sorry. That's not for you." She took out a bowl of food for ferrets.
"There you go," Fluttershy said to the little ferrets. The ferrets and mice had enjoyed their little meal. "Enjoy," Fluttershy said, "Which you've already had done." That is when an almost fancy looking earth pony walked up to Fluttershy. Her name is Octavia Melody.
"Oh, good morning, Octavia," Fluttershy said upon greeting her. "Why, good morning," Octavia Melody said, "I see that it's feeding time. For your animal friends." "Yes," Fluttershy said, "It is time to take care of the animals." "I see," Octavia Melody said.
"Can I help you with something?" Fluttershy asked Octavia Melody. "Well," Octavia Melody began, "I've decided to bring you something. Well, I've volunteer for the official pony because he's ill." "Oh, my," Fluttershy replied, worried.
"Here you go," Octavia Melody said, handing Fluttershy an invitation notice. "I've been summoned to the Society for Endangered Species with Tree Hugger and Byron, her boyfriend," Fluttershy said upon reading the invitation, "Ok, I'll go to Fillydelphia where it's taking place. Thank you, Octavia."
"No problem," Octavia Melody replied. So once Fluttershy did all of her chores, she'd gotten herself prepared for the next day.
Afterwards, Octavia Melody retuned home. "Well," Octavia Melody said when she'd returned to her two-toned home, "That was taken care of. Back to music and you too, DJ." DJ Pon3 nodded to agree. This is also her house, too. "Now, we shall get on," Octavia Melody said and they both played music.
Meanwhile, in a secret laboratory, four ponies, Doctor Hooves, and his assistant, well, almost, Derpy Hooves, with Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon as their guest. Doctor Hooves is now holding a small computer-like device. "Well," Doctor Hooves explained, "This is an energy saver."
"It's supposed to help unicorns conserve their magic so they don't wear themselves out." Derpy Hooves said. "We see," said Lyra Heartstrings, "Can I try?" "I don't know," Doctor Hooves answered, "It's not ready yet." "It still has a few bugs to work out," Derpy Hooves explained.
"I see," Lyra Heartstrings said in response, "Well, thanks for the not-demonstration." "Okay, so, you got plans?" Doctor Hooves asked.
"Well," Bon Bon said, "In two days, our boyfriends are arriving from the Crystal Empire and we're going to meet up with them." "That's a plan," Derpy Hooves said. "Well," Doctor Hooves said, "This small device is all for today. Ladies, and, uh, ladies, thank you for your cooperation."
"No problem," Lyra Heartstrings said, "But I'd love to try out your device anyway." "Well," doctor Hooves said, trying to think of something to say. Nonetheless, Lyra Hearstrings used the device anyway, but upon doing so, it became harder for her to use her magic.
"Whoa," she exclaimed. "Are you feeling weird?" Bon Bon asked her friend. "Sort of," Lyra Heartstrings answered before Doctor Hooves took away the device. "Yes," he said, "A few glitches to work on."
"Okay," Lyra Heartstrings said, dizzy. "That's enough for today," Doctor Hooves said, "We'll continue tomorrow." "Yes," Derpy Hooves said, "And in a few days, have fun with your boyfriends." "No problem," Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon said together.
After the two ponies left, everything else had gone normal in Ponyville. But somewhere close by, there is a raging ocean storm brewing.
The next morning, Fluttershy left to go to Fillydelpha for her convention, leaving Lyra Heartstring in charge of taking care of the animals. Luckily, Doctor Hooves' invention didn't harm her at all and he is fine. "It's only for a few days," both ponies had thought together.
After doing Fluttershy's normal chores, Lyra Heartstrings decided to stay for a while. "Eh, it won't be too bad," she said. Soon enough, her best friend, Bon Bon had arrived. "Howdy," she said, "Taking care of the animals?" "Yes," Lyra Heartstrings answered.
Soon enough, DJ Pon3 and Octavia Melody joined in as well, followed by Derpy Hooves and Doctor Hooves. "Looks like the party is all here," Bon Bon said. "Something like that," Octavia Melody answered, "DJ said that."
"Well," Doctor Hooves said, "I thought I'd like to show you my improved prototype." "That's nice," Lyra Heartstrings said, "But I'm kind of busy now." "We know," said Octavia Melody, but then they heard a loud rumbling sound.
"Now what?" Lyra Heartstrings asked. "Familiar," Doctor Hooves answered. "I know who it is," Octavia Melody said. They all looked at a nearby water well where a large creature burst out of the nearby well.
Instead of being Discord, it is a large sea serpent. He looked worried. "Okay," Octavia Melody said, "Then I don't know who it is." "Hello?" Doctor Hooves asked, "Who are you?" "My name is Steven Magnet," the large sea serpent answered, "And I'm so happy to meet you! I know Rarity isn't here now."
"She's in Canterlot," Octavia Melody explained, "Dress tour. And DJ said, 'Nice to meet you, Steven Magnet.'" "Why is your name that?" Derpy Hooves asked. "Never mind that," Steven Magnet said, "I have a big problem." "DJ Pon3," Octavia Melody said, "Had asked what is it?"
"Uh," Steven Magnet said, "Oh no. It's my brother." "Oh brother," Octavia Melody said, "And Pon3 said, 'You have a brother?' Right?" "Yes," Steven Magnet explained disappointingly, "I have a brother. And he is not nice at all!"
"Oh," Derpy Hooves replied. "He's actually pretty feral in contrast to me," Steven Magnet explained. "You didn't tell us," Lyra Heartstrings said.
"I know," Steven Magnet said, "It's true. He's worse than I am! And now he's going to threaten all of Equestria with gigantic ocean storms!" "Well," Lyra Heartstrings said, "We can take it on. So where is he now?"
"Out near the ocean," Steven Magnet answered. "Duh!" Bon Bon shouted, "Ocean storms!" "Oh, sure," Lyra Heartstrings answered, "You can count on us, Steven Magnet. We'll take care of it!" "WHAT?!" the other ponies said in response. "Oh, thank you all!" Steven Magnet said, "I'll try and be with you."
He then retreated into the well. "Uh, there seems to be a back up in here," he called.
"Taking on a rouge sea serpent?!" Bon Bon shouted, "Lyra, have you lost your mind!" "No," Lyra Heartstrings said, "We've got to do this!" "Okay," said Derpy Hooves, "I'm going with you." "So will, I," Doctor Hooves said, "Us!" Octavia Melody said, "DJ Pon3."
"Then I have no choice," Bon Bon said, "I will go, too." "Then it's settled," said Lyra Heartstrings, "We're going to take on this monster!" "Okay," said Doctor Hooves. "Now Fluttershy is away on her job," Lyra Heartstrings explained, "So, we're on our own now." "Which are we?" asked Octavia Melody, "DJ asked that. Yes, I have an idea."
So Octavia Melody had paid Spike, Twilight Sparkle's dragon assistant jewels to keep an eye on Fluttershy's animal friends.
"There," Octavia Melody said, "We're ready, Freddy." "Whatever," Bon Bon said. "Ok," Derpy, said, "Let's go!"
And the six ponies left to head out towards the ocean to challenge Steven Magnet's rouge brother.
"Care for something special?" Spike asked Angel, Fluttershy's pet bunny. The little bunny only responded by attacking Spike with mousetraps. "AHHHHH!" Spike cried.
After several hours of walking the six ponies finally reached the ocean shoreline. "Here we are," Doctor Hooves said.
By now, they could see the skies darkening up and the ocean is raging. "Come on, Bon Bon," said Lyra Heartstrings, "We can all do this." "If you say so," Bon Bon said. "Over there!" Doctor Hooves called out.
They saw a raging tornado over the ocean. Everyone calls these waterspouts.
"I can see something in that twister!" Lyra Heartstrings called, "It must be Steven Magnet's wild brother!" They all saw a similar looking sea serpent inside the waterspout that is unfamiliar to the six ponies.
"And it is Steven Magnet's wild brother!" Derpy Hooves said. "We must calm him down!" Doctor Hooves said, "Or the storm will get worst!" "I have an idea!" Octavia Melody said, "We've said music!" "What?" Bon Bon asked.
So now Octavia Melody and DJ Pon3 are going to play music. This an attempt to calm the rouge sea serpent down. "Well," Doctor Hooves said, "Music soothes the savage beast, "Go for it."
And both Octavia Melody and DJ Pon3 played music at the same time. It was a mixed result because of Octavia's slow relaxing music and DJ's fast upbeat music. Suddenly, there were a lot of lightning strikes. And several of them destroyed Octavia Melody and DJ Pon3's musical instruments.
"Okay," Octavia Melody said, scorched, "This is going to be very wild! I'm going to forget my lifestyle! Oh, and DJ, you've already done so." DJ Pon3 nodded her head to agree. "I'm not sure," Lyra Heartstrings said, "I don't know if I could use my magic. That could make things worse."
"Then he should conserve energy," Bon Bon said, "And I can't do anything!" "Conserve!" Lyra Heartstrings said. "Hooves!" Derpy Hooves called out, "Your pony-unicorn device!" "My what?" Doctor Hooves replied before looking at his magic-saving device he had built days ago.
"Use it on the serpent!" Derpy Hooves called out, "It will make it use it's own magic less!" "But I've only made it for unicorns!" Doctor Hooves called, "I've never tested it out on other creatures!" "DJ Pon3," Octavia Melody said, "Had said, 'use it anyway!'" "Okay!" Doctor Hooves replied.
Wasting no time, he grabbed his device. "I need help!" he called. "Now!" Derpy Hooves said, "I must do it!" And Derpy Hooves grabbed her friend and carried him towards the raging waterspout. "Okay," Octavia Melody said, "This is-"
Upon getting closer to the waterspout, Doctor Hooves immediately threw his magic-saving device into the waterspout where Steven Magnet's raging brother is now. Suddenly, there was a loud bang.
And a huge force field contained the waterspout. But it had also contained Doctor Hooves and Derpy Hooves, too. "Oh no!" Bon Bon said. "No!" Octavia Melody cried. But then, everything changed. The storm clouds had disappeared and so did the waterspout, revealing a sea serpent.
"What?" Lyra Hearstrings asked. Finally, after the force field disappeared, the sea serpent had finally returned to the ocean and is now approaching the shore. "Could it?" Octavia Melody said.
"It is them!" Lyra Heartstrings said. Doctor Hooves and Derpy Hooves had survived and are now riding on top of the sea serpent's head. "Derpy and Doctor!" Lyra Heartstrings said, "You're back! You're alive!"
"Of course we're alive," said Derpy Hooves. "Remember," Doctor Hooves said, "It was made for unicorns." "Not us," said Derpy Hooves. Then the device suddenly exploded. "Well, that's the end of that," Lyra Heartstrings said, "A good idea, but might needs some work."
"Well," said Doctor Hooves, "It proved itself useful today. And now, we've made a new friend."
That's when Steven Magnet finally shown up and met up with his brother. But instead of a angry greeting, there is rejoice. "Well," Bon Bon said, "This is wonderful." "I agree," said Lyra Heartstrings.
Then Steven Magnet and his brother faced the six ponies. "Now," Steven Magnet said, "I'd like to introduce you to my brother!" "Nice to meet you," said Octavia Melody, "Sorry about our music, said DJ."
"You were just trying to help," Steven Magnet said, "And now, he'd like to be friends with you. He's been all alone for all of these years." "How long?" Bon Bon asked. "Oh, about 300 years," Steven Magnet answered. "Okay then," said Bon Bon.
Afterwards, everything had gone back to normal. Hours later, Lyra Hearstrings and Octavia Melody had returned to Fluttershy's home.
She'd found Spike working hard, but with a lot of mousetraps on his whole body. "Oh dear," said Octavia Melody. "No problem," Spike groaned, "Doing my best." That is when Princess Twilight Sparkle showed up, removed all of the mousetraps from Spike and prepared to take him home.
"These," Twilight Sparkle said, holding up a mousetrap to Octavia Melody, "The next time you get the idea to borrow Spike without permission!" "But she'd paid me!" Spike replied, but Twilight Sparkle just took off with him, dropping some jewels.
"Well," Octavia Melody said, "Thanks for the refund, Twilight!" "And now, back to work!" Lyra Heartstrings said, "And tomorrow, I'm meeting up with my boyfriend!" "All right," Octavia Melody said, "Things are back to normal!" And they are.
The next day, Steven Magnet, the sea serpent had introduced every pony in Ponyville to his brother, who is calm and cool now instead of raging. Also, Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon had met up with their respective boyfriends from the Crystal Empire, Crystal Beau and Bright Smile.
The two crystal ponies had heard about their stories and things have gone all right for every pony in Equestria. "But hey," Lyra Heartstrings said, "Where are Doctor and Derpy?" "Don't know," Octavia Melody answered.
Nearby, in an open field Mountain Moron was just wandering around, stupidly, as usual.
"Right now, we're witnessing a being," a familiar sly voice said, "He is an Earth pony named Mountain Moron. Considered to be the most stupidest pony to ever walk the lands of Equestria. Walking? I should have said wandering pointlessly. His brain is said to be even smaller than a walnut. I'll try to think of other things as we go along. Yes, I'm making these things up; it is true."
"Discord?" Doctor Hooves asked, spotting Discord, who is hiding behind the bush. It is Discord narrating the whole thing. "Of course I'm Discord," Discord replied tossing his bongo drums aside and then tossing his safari hat away.
"Of course you're Discord," Doctor Hooves replied. "Yes," Discord answered. "What are you doing?" Doctor Hooves asked, "Spying on that pony?" "Why yes," Discord answered in a sly voice, "You know that's the pony who can't add two and two together or figure out that the sky is above him."
"Yes," Derpy Hooves replied, "We know that pony is not smart at all." "I don't know what you're up to," Doctor Hooves said, "But you'd better behave yourself." "Oh, I will," Discord replied. "Please," Derpy Hooves said, "Try your best. And try not to spy on any other pony."
With that said, Doctor Hooves and Derpy Hooves walked away. However, a dirty idea popped inside Discord's head. This is something that Discord had decided to keep to himself. The storywriter doesn't know what it is. "Let's keep it that way," Discord said.
That's when Mountain Moron had walked into a dirty ditch, because he wasn't paying any attention, obviously.
