Sky Stinger And Vapor Trail's Small Day Out
In a small town, there lived two Pegasus ponies who are training to be members of the Wonderbolts. The stallion's name is Sky Stinger and the mare's name is Vapor Trail. They're both friends with each other and they help each other out of situations. Most of the time.
But, nevertheless, they often tried to be good friend.
One day, Sky Stinger had set out to do his normal shopping.
By now, he'd flown to the Ponyville market and did his normal everyday shopping. "Well," Sky Stinger said, "Can't be less prepared."
"Well, that is true," Cranky Donkey agreed. "You're right there," Matilda said in response. "Okay," Sky Stinger replied, "Well, I'll figure it out."
After he got his usual meals and other things, he's returned home. But something is on his mind.
Upon returning to his home, he started to think about his friend, Vapor Tail. "All right," Sky Stinger said, "I will."
Also, around the same time, too, the other Pegasus pony, Vapor Tail had made her rounds with her shopping, too. She had just returned to her home in the same little village when she thought about something, too. After she'd finished organized everything in her home, she's ran outside.
Sky Stinger had gone outside, too.
The next second, both Pegasus had bumped into each other. "Oh, hey," Sky Stinger said, "Vapor Trail." "Hello," Vapor Trail said, "I am-" "I was thinking about seeing you," both ponies said at the same time, "Oh, I am!"
"We've had the same idea," Vapor Trail said. "We did," Sky Stinger replied, "I wanted to see you today. After market shipping." "I went shopping, too," Vapor Trail said. "Well," Sky Stinger went on, "Now what do you want to do?"
"Well," Sky Stinger said, "We're not needed at the Wonderbolts now, so, going out instead?" Vapor Trail, with nothing else in mind, answered, "Sure." "Ah, what the heck," Sky Stinger replied, "I mean, okay, let's go." And thus, they've flown off together. "Where do you want to go?" Sky Stinger asked. But Vapor Trail didn't answer
Soon enough, they've flown to a small place where both Fluttershy and her friend, Tree Hugger are observing some birds. "How about meet up with them?" Vapor Trail suggested. "Okay," Sky Stinger agreed and both flew down to meet up with the two.
"Helo," Sky Stinger called to the two ponies. "Righteous!" Tree Hugger said upon seeing the two Pegasus ponies. "Oh, hi, Trail and Stinger," Fluttershy said, "What are you two doing?" "Flying around," Sky Stinger answered, "Trying to figure out something."
"Yes," Vapor Trail agreed, "Still thinking. And we're still training for the Wonderbolts." "I see," said Fluttershy. "Wonderbolts," Tree Hugger said, "Keep up the groovy work!" "Uh," Fluttershy said, "Oh, brother. Never mind that." "Yeah," Sky Stinger said, "That was, uh."
"Forget it," Vapor Trail agreed, "We make mistakes like that." "Yes," Sky Stinger said, "I'm trying not to make any more mistakes. I'm trying to be a better pony." "Yes," Vapor Trail agreed, "So am I."
"Don't worry," Fluttershy said, "We've all been there. And there's one I'm not too proud of." "Huh?" Sky Stinger asked.
"One of Fluttershy's mistake from the past was allowing another pony to do her job," Tree Hugger explained, "This pony had allowed a cuckoo's egg to be placed in a robin's nest." "And what's with the story about that?" Sky Stinger asked politely.
"What the baby cuckoo did was not nice at all," Fluttershy said in a dark tone of voice. "Okay," Tree Hugger said, "It had a gluttonous habit. Not righteous!" "Oh my," Sky Stinger thought. "I'm trying not to let that happen again," Fluttershy said.
"Good," Vapor Trail said. "Well," Tree Hugger said, "The pony whom Fluttershy made the mistake of entrusting, the baby cuckoo is now his responsibility." "Let me guess," Sky Stinger said, "That cuckoo is eating all of his food?" "Yes," Fluttershy answered, "Feel bad for the guy."
"Forget that," Sky Stinger said, "We just wanted to have a nice chat with you." "That's all right," Fluttershy said. "And meet up with you," Vapor Trail said, "Things going all right for the creatures?" "Yes," Tree Hugger answered, "Fluttershy and my boyfriend, Byron are doing a- good job." "Say it like that," Sky Stinger said.
After a few minutes of conversations, the ponies had a nice chat. But something were on both Sky Stinger and Vapor Trail's minds. "I wonder," Vapor Trail thought. After an hour. "Nice talking to you," Sky Stinger said. "Same here," Fluttershy said in response.
"Thanks for the nice chat," Vapor Trail's said, "It is groovy. Sorry." "No problem," Tree Hugger said in response, "We don't mind." "Oh well," said Fluttershy, "We should go now." "We'll let you go," Sky Stinger said.
And with that said, the four ponies went on their way. Both Sky Stinger and Vapor Trail had returned to their homes.
Now, Sky Stinger had already decided not to be as selfish as this baby cuckoo from Fluttershy's story a long time ago. "Now things will be better," he said.
Just then, a familiar fast Pegasus flew by. It is Rainbow Dash. "Hey, Sky Stinger!" she called, "Vapor Trail! Can't wait to see you at Wonderbolt practice!" "Same here!" both Sky Stinger and Vapor Trail said together and Rainbow Dash flew off.
"Ready?" Sky Stinger asked. "Yes," Vapor Trail answered.
And the two got prepared for the future. There is something else Sky Stinger had in mind for Vapor Trail, but that's another story for another day.
