Pinkie Pie Helps Out With Something More

One day outside of Ponyville, at Sweet Apple Acres to be precise, well, it started like any other morning for Applejack, and Big Mac. As usual, both earth ponies siblings bucked apples for the morning, they've both settled down.

"Well," Applejack said, "Another day of apple bucking, right, bro?" "Eeyup," Big Mac replied in his usual tone. "Well," Applejack said, "Things have been going well for us. And Apple Bloom had made progress with her friends. You know what I mean by that."

"Eeyup," Big Mac replied again. "Well," Applejack said, "Good luck to her then." "Uh," Big Mac said. "Oh," Applejack said, "I get it."

"They've made a lot of progress!" Pinkie Pie said. "That is true," Applejack said in agreement, not knowing that Pinkie Pie had just appeared out of nowhere, "Anyway, for us." "I know this will be a fun-tacular day!" Pinkie Pie said.

"Right there, Pinkie," Applejack replied, "And WHOA!" The two ponies jumped in surprised. "Pinkie!" Applejack called. "Yes?" Pinkie Pie answered. "Where the hay did you spring from?" Applejack asked. "I don't know," Pinkie Pie answered.

"What are you doing here?" Applejack asked, surprised. "Um," Pinkie Pie thought. "What's the purpose?!" Applejack asked. "I'd thought I'd deliver some news!" Pinkie Pie answered, "The Cakes are having a sale!" "Okay," Applejack replied.

"Uh," Big Mac stuttered. "Everything goes now!" Pinkie Pie said excitedly, "And I'm going to help out!" "Well," Applejack said, "Good luck on that, Pinkie Pie. You are going to need it." "Yes, way!" Pinkie Pie squealed.

And with that, Pinkie Pie bounced away. "Oh, yes," Pinkie Pie said upon returning the next second, "Do you have a car I could borrow?" "Uh, sure," Applejack answered. "Yes!" Pinkie Pie chirped and she took a cart.

But she had made a mistake. She was supposed to take an empty apple cart, but instead, she'd taken one that was loaded with apples.

"All right," Applejack said, upon returning to work. So they've bucked more apple trees. Then they've realized something. "We've just loaded an apple cart," Applejack said. "Eeyup," Big Mac answered.

"Then," Applejack said, suddenly figuring out what had happened, "I've gave Pinkie Pie the apple cart loaded with the apples we've collected this morning! Those were supposed to go to Canterlot!" "Oops," Big Mac replied. "I've got to sort this out!" Applejack said and she'd hurried off.

She'd decided that she would try to and stop Pinkie Pie.

At Sugarcube Corner, there is a big cake sale. Carrot Cake and Cup Cake were making many cakes that day as they had a lot of customers. Pinkie Pie brought the loaded apple cart to help carry the extra cakes.

"Hmm," Pinkie Pie thought immediately noticing all of the apples, "Oh well."

She'd dumped all of the apples into a bin. Another pony, who was new on the job that day, didn't know why all of the apples were there. So the pony just dumped them into a certain place. "Okay, Pinkie," Cup Cake said, "We need all the help we could get. Oh, and thanks for bringing in a cart."

"She meant getting a cart," her husband, Carrot Cake said. "Yes, pie!" Pinkie Pie chirped.

Other ponies like Snowdon, Bon Bon and Vinyl Scratch had offered to help that day. The other ponies who were busy making the cakes had accidentally used Applejack's apples for their ingredients. As a result, these ponies had made special apple cakes by mistake.

By now, Applejack had arrived at Sugarcube corner, and looked at the cart she had loaned to Pinkie Pie. But it's already too late. All of the apples she and Big Mac had collected that morning were gone. "Hey, Applejack," Pinkie Pie said, "I'm not done with the cart yet. But I'm going all out! An I think I've done something with all of those apples."

"That's why I'm here!" Applejack said, "I've come to get all of my apples back! I've given them to you by mistake and they were meant for Canterlot!" "Way!" Pinkie Pie chirped, "I've moved them!" "Come on!" Applejack said.

But when both ponies got to where Pinkie Pie had dumped all of the apples, they're all gone. "They've must have been used," Pinkie Pie said. "Oh no," Applejack groaned, "They've been used to make cakes!" "What makes you say that?" Pinkie Pie asked.

By that moment, one pony had taken a bite out of a cake which some of Applejack's apples had been used. The pony stopped and said, "Hey, this is good." The ponies who had made that cake realized something. "I've used those apples," the pony said.

"What?!" another pony said. They've eaten the same cake and all had agreed they are good. "What's going on?" Carrot Cake said. "It's this special cake," one of the customers said, "It's good!"

Then they realized that they've made the cakes out of the apples that Pinkie Pie had taken by mistake. As a result, these cakes had sold fast that day. "I don't believe it," Applejack said. "Yep," Pinkie Pie chirped, "A big sale, sale, sale!" But nonetheless, everypony loved these cakes.

Some time later, however, Applejack was still worried. "All of those apples," Applejack groaned, "Gone!" "Hey," Bon Bon said, "The apples. They say, you are responsible for them, right?" "Yes," Applejack answered flatly. "Thank you!" the other ponies said, praising Applejack for the apples.

"Even if it is a mistake," Applejack mumbled. "It seemed the customers liked your apple cakes," Carrot Cake explained to Applejack, "It was a big hit!" "Yes!" Cup Cake said, "Applejack, thank you, very much!" "Yeah," Applejack replied, "No problem."

By the end of the day, Carrot Cake and Cup Cake gave both Applejack and Pinkie Pie and the other ponies their paychecks and thanked them very much for helping out that day.

Upon heading home, both Applejack and Pinkie Pie were glad for the big cake sale that day. Pinkie Pie is happy, but Applejack remained baffled. The mistake helped their friends a little bit more.

"Yeah," Applejack said, "A mistake made things better that day. For Cup Cake and Carrot Cake." But then Applejack fainted. "An early nap!" Pinkie Pie chirped.

Meanwhile, Big Mac, still in the apple trees field was still wondering what to do with all of the apples he'd bucked all day.
