"Could you be gentler?!?", the pleads and yelps of a Failed Magic God filled the house as his Saintly companion held onto his arms with an unyielding grip.
"See? That wasn't so bad now, wasn't it?", Silvia teased, cradling Ollerus' left arm as he rested his head on her shoulder, tears streaming down his face as his steadily quickening breath poured from his lungs like water rushing forth from a broken dam.
The grasp of Silvia's fingers around his hand was the only thing keeping him together, you'd think that getting the job done in an instant would be a godsend, but for Ollerus, strength possessed by a Saint still left him with post bone-setting ouchies.
"Ready for more?", Silvia teased, squeezing Ollerus' trembling hand as she gave him a sultry look, complete with a sadistic grin, a look all too familiar to him.
"N-NO! WE CAN WAIT UNTIL THE APPOINTMENT!", he pleaded, his cries of terror shook the whole house as he tried his hardest to get away from the Saint's grip, a futile attempt.
Without hesitation, Silvia bent Ollerus' right arm back into position, prompting an ungodly yell from the Failed Magic God which even she wasn't anticipating.
"I HATE YOOOOOU!", he yelled, his back arched as his body writhed and squirmed from the pain, though his arm troubles were but a distant memory, the residual pain still ached and throbbed like a nasty cavity waiting to be extracted.
Massaging the joint inbetween his elbow and his forearm, Silvia couldn't help but feel a small sense of guilt over what Ollerus had said amidst the pain.
"It's all said and done now, so you don't have to worry about a thing anymore!", she reassured, leaning in close to her companion as she brought her hand up to his head, slowly stroking his hair as he quivered from the pain.
Ollerus had seldom seen this particular side of Silvia. Part of the reason why she was acting so rough towards him was because she knew what he was capable of, but there came times where even he would be too hurt or distraught to function at full capacity. It was at times like these where she had to step in, and show him that she cared.
Little moments like these were uncommon for the two, the pair had gone through Magic Side related misadventures in the 2 years they'd been together, but with Ollerus losing his powers at the end of the whole Othinus kerfuffle, he and Silvia could afford to take it easy for a while.
Rocking back and forth as his joints ached and throbbed from being forced back into position, Ollerus could only endure the pain for so long until he felt like something else should be done.
"...Please, don't ever do that again...", he whispered to Silvia, his wavering voice prompting her to pull him in closer.
The gentle embrace of a significant other, a feeling all too familiar, yet seemingly unattainable by the two.
"Well, if it hurts that much...". "...Do you want me to give it a kiss?", she teased as her grin grew wider, trying her best to distract her companion from the pain he felt, half-jokingly bringing his left arm up to her chest.
In an instant, Ollerus' face flushed a bright red as he locked eyes with Silvia, a gentle smile forming on her face as she continued massaging the problem area.
--
"What did I ever do to deserve you?", he thought to himself. Having her tag along with him was the best decision he'd ever made.
At first, he'd agreed to travel with her for protection, who would want to mess with him now that he had a Saint by his side? But over time, he grew to appreciate Silvia as a person, even with her occasional missteps. The way she eyed him as they ate breakfast together, the way she yelled at him every time he made a promise he couldn't keep, the way she would greet him every time he came back from a dangerous altercation, he cherished every moment he spent with her. And before long, Ollerus had fallen for the Saint, though, because his disposition made it hard for him to convey affection in any meaningful way, he couldn't really find any feasible way of showing his appreciation for her.
--
"If it helps...", Ollerus replied, looking away from Silvia as his face grew redder, surprising her greatly as a faint blush began to form on her cheeks.
"Huh? I was just joking.", she replied, trying to hide the fact that she was just as flustered as he was, using all her strength to prevent more blood from rushing into her cheeks. But Silvia knew what she wanted right from the start, even though she wanted to save face and pull out of the offer, she still wanted to give Ollerus this one little morsel of affection.
"...I think I was being too too gree-", for a moment, Ollerus thought he was safe, or whatever "safe" meant in this context, he thought he was saving face by not resorting to misplaced displays of affection such as this, but Silvia thought otherwise.
With his left arm close to her, Silvia caught his attention by squeezing his hand, locking her fingers with his as she locked eyes with him. Bending down to reach the problem area, covered by a sleeve, Silvia planted a fleeting peck onto where it hurt the most, her cheeks flushing red as Ollerus' grip around her hand tightened.
"Better?", she asked, a smile slowly forming on her face as she tilted her head to the side.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-", Ollerus' head was going insane, his heart felt like it was about to produce enough energy to power the house, and somehow, his feelings for Silvia drowned out the swelling pain in his joints, the sight of her smiling face didn't seem to help, as every single worry seemed to melt away with that smile of hers.
"Maybe I should injure myself to see this more often...", he thought to himself, while the way Silvia manhandled him every time he put himself in danger, admittedly, ...did things for him..., seeing her relax and be so casual around him when times weren't so bad, made him happy.
Ollerus nodded as he tilted his head downwards, covering his eyes as he began to calm down, though you wouldn't really call him "calm", as his heart felt like it ran 12 consecutive marathons inside his body.
Pulling her close to him and resting her head on his, Silvia's smile only grew as she felt his erratic breath slow down in her arms, she wished they could stay like this forever. "Do you want me to get ice?", she asked, stroking his hair as he began to lean into her, post-dislocation swelling was no joke, after all!
"Can you stay with me for a while?", he responded, leaning against her chest, the sound of her heartbeat and the feeling of her touch making him forget about the pain for a bit.
"As long as it makes you feel better.", she assured, gently squeezing his hand as his eyes grew tired from letting out so many tears. But it was over now, his arms were on the way to recovery, and he was in the arms of the woman he loved the most.
"Anything for you...", Silvia murmured quietly, not wanting him to hear.
