I made my way toward Captain Yami as Asta rushed back from the restroom. Asta talked so quickly, and not to mention very…..excitedly, about how this was a great step toward him being the Wizard King.

We stopped in front of the Captain and Finral, where I decided my shoes look really nice this evening.

"Hello beautiful lady! So glad you decided to come be with me!" He spoke confidently. I looked up at him only for him to wink and send my eyes right back down to my feet.

I heard Asta and Yami bickering, basically.

I had giggled during this interaction, only to be distracted by Finrals' mana growing smaller. Like, I can actually see it?!

When he brought up how he couldn't hold it open much longer because he was losing mana, I reached out and placed my hand on his bicep.

Finral stared at this young woman. Not only is she beautiful, but she is touching me?! He could die and go to…what….

The men stared, Asta in confusion because he had no idea what was wrong and why the other two were staring at his friend. Yami was watching Finrals' mana grow.

Yami laughed out loud saying, "That's pushing past your limits!" And proceeded to throw Asta into the portal and go in himself.

"Why does he love to throw Asta so much? He isn't a rag doll!" I grabbed Finral by the hand.

"Come on Fin!" And pulled him through quickly to go after the other members.

As soon as we both got through, I witnessed Asta being blown up and shrieked. But gave a very confused look when he jumped up like it was nothing saying, "I'm not done yet!" and charging back into the flames.

I followed Captain and watched everything go down.

Like, LITERALLY. STUFF IS BREAKING EVERYWHERE!

I opted to stay back and allow Yami to handle this because…I'm not sure what to even do right now. It's terrifyingly awesome?

When Yami grabbed their attention by breaking more stuff, Finral proceeded to give his, they're good people, speech. I had to laugh at this.

I listened intently before suddenly having a picture pushed right into my face.

"You see this angel?"

I put my hands out and grabbed his arms to push it away a little so I could see better without second thought.

"Wow she's so pretty!" I couldn't help but gush over the little girl. She is definitely so cute.

"If anyone hurts my Marie.."

I cut him off without thinking, "We'll bring judgement! I promise!"

I smiled at him only to have a very, hyper blonde guy asking to fight me.

"Come on, let's do it! We call fight till we kill each other!" He said.

"Um…I don't want to kill each other."

"Aw come on! It'll be great!

"If we kill each other, we would both be dead and then I couldn't be your friend! So no, I don't want to kill each other." I said firmly.

The sparks around him suddenly died down, but his smile somehow got brighter.

"Another newbie, huh? Guess we gotta put both of you through the test."

"Oh! I'll fight her!" Luck practically shouted.

I looked his way and just smiled and shook my head.

As we all headed outside to see Asta first take on Magna, it was really cool! Except the part where Magna almost got roasted by his own spell. But even that was entertaining.

Asta passed with flying…fire balls?

"It's our turn now, Y/n!" Luck said, while yanking me out into the field.

Yami had his cigarette, (where does he even get those?) and said go for it.

And oh did we.

Luck is very fast. He shot toward me, with fierce determination.

Luck knew something about her had to be special. She was chosen after Yami, but she seems so quiet and small. I can take her out no problem. Luck used his magic to spring himself in her direction. He had her…

He had her?

The Black Bulls watched with jaws dropped to the ground as their newest member could move in the blink of an eye. She always stayed out of Luck's reach, and Luck was laughing like a maniac, before pouting.

"That's no fun! You have to fight!"

"I don't know if that's a good idea because I am not exactly sure how it works all the way yet…" I said.

Which is very true. I see Luck moving, but it's almost like I have a way of seeing before without actually knowing or having to think too much about what to do.

"Ya gotta fight him or at least knock him out!" Yami called out.

Magna knew she would lose. Just because she seems great at dodging, doesn't mean she can fight.

I have the option of knocking him out instead of fighting him?

Luck was right in front of me. As he reached out to land a hit, I reached out and placed my pointer finger on his forehead.

Luck collapsed at my feet, unharmed.

"DID YOU KILL HIM?!" Asta yelled while the rest of the Black Bulls ran toward us to help their friend.

I quickly shook my head. "You said I had the option of knocking him out. You didn't say I had to hit him in order to do so." I said with a small smile.

They gave me a look and Finral was already over Luck to see if he needed healing or anything. Only to get shocked by the smiling berserker.

Luck laughed and shot up, floating directly in front of me.

"That was so cool! You touched me and put me to sleep! Next time we have to fight though!"

I smiled at Luck and nodded at him. "I'd love that!"

As the other Bulls kind of just went with the flow, Charmy came up.

"Are you hungry, la?" She asked as she held out some kind of cake. I only ever had a cake on my birthday, but this looks different but super good too.

I decided to accept the small dessert. I took a small bite and felt a sudden wave of joy run through me like a wave. I took another bite without a thought.

It's so good!

The Black Bulls watched as she took the first bite. She was an interesting girl, but odd to say the least. Things became more strange as, once she took the bite, her wings immediately spread out and shot back a burst of mana toward them. It happened again with the next bite and she didn't seem to notice what she was doing. She had managed to restore their mana levels with that first blast. The second went out like a wave toward their base, encasing it in a spell they had never seen before.

"Charmy, that was so good! I can't wait to have another one! Thank you so much!" In my excitement in trying a delicious new dessert, I hadn't noticed any of the looks I got.

Asta was by my side in no time and we walked into the base together. I felt better than I had in a long time.

Yami watched her look talk excitedly with Asta, wondering how he got two weirdos instead of one.
