Introduction (11 July 2023)

Ever since I started watching the anime series "My Clueless First Friend", I've become quite fond of that series. In fact, I came up with this idea, inspired by the Teasing Master Takagi-san (Moto) manga, of writing a sort of Moto manga for this anime where Takada and Nishimura are teenagers in 7th grade. I hope that you guys enjoy reading and if this goes well, I'll be sure to make more chapters in the future! Stay safe and have a good day ahead!

PS: This is the first ever fanfiction that I have written in my life.

Chapter 1

Reunited and it feels … good?

Two years have passed since Nishimura and Takada's surprise meeting. The two children have grown up, yet their bond still seems unbreakable, still having strong connections with each other, and their personalities appear to be unchanged. Takada is still the persistent, forceful, and active child who always sees the bright side of things, but Nishimura remains quiet and introverted, though she has ventured out of her shell on a few occasions. They both recently started Middle School and, as it turns out, they both started at the same school as Takada's older sister, Yukiko, who is in 9th grade.

The first day of school had arrived. Nishimura was reading a book in class during the lunch break. Takada, ever bold, tiptoed approaching Nishimura and shocked her from the side.

"Nishimura-san!"

His loud and impassioned speech surprised Nishimura, causing her to drop her book on the floor.

"Takada-kun? What brings you here? Are you also in this class?" Nishimura inquired in a perplexed and terrified tone as she picked up her book, perhaps still shaken from Takada's jump scare.

"Yep! And even better, my seat is just right next to yours! Isn't that fantastic? I'll be able to keep my friendship with the Grim Reaper!"

"Takada-kun, why weren't you in class earlier though?" Nishimura asked with a puzzled look on her face.

"That...that was because I had a terrible headache in the morning. Fortunately, it didn't stay long, and I was still able to attend school."

"That explains why the teacher told us this morning that a student in our class wasn't feeling well but would still come to school. But I didn't think it was going to be you."

Takada pushed his face closer to Nishumura's. Looking up and down, he seemed to be analyzing something. Nishimura's face turned bright red, as she covered it.

"Is…is there something on my face?" she asked nervously.

"Hmm…I was just thinking about how much you have changed since I last met you a few months ago. Your hair is still covering up your left eye… You're still as cute as ever though."

Nishimura's face got even redder.

'Aren't we in middle school now? How is he still able to make those remarks without feeling embarrassed…' Nishimura thought to herself, flustered by Takada's comment.

'Would it hurt to ask him about this? I mean…we are teenagers in middle school now and we should be more mature than we used to be back in elementary school. I guess he wouldn't mind me asking at all, it's Takada-kun we're talking about, after all.'

"Takada-kun…Don't you feel embarrassed making those kinds of statements? We are in middle school now after all…"

"Who cares if we are in middle school now, I still think you're as cute as ever and that's the truth! The only difference is that I can now expand my vocabulary and say even more nice things about you!" Takada responded, sounding energetic as ever.

Nishimura went silent for a moment, still being flustered by Takada's statements.

"Nishimura-san? Are you feeling okay? Your face looks bright red. Do you have a fever?"

"I-I'm good…"

"Well, I'm hoping we can keep talking nonstop like we used to. I really missed having so much time to talk to you!" Takada exclaimed, taking a step back and sitting down.

"I hope so too." Nishimura replied, uncovering her face and smiling brightly at Takada.

As Nishimura and Takada chatted happily away, Takada's older sister, Yukiko, stood at the classroom's back door. Before heading back to class, she smirked.
