Hello and welcome to those who've chosen to come and take a chance on my story! I'm KennyTheRenegade, and I welcome you to the first story I've written for FanFicition! Been an avid reader of countless fanfics since I discovered the site back in 2013( I was 13 y/o boy who wanted a real DBZ and Naruto crossover lmao), and I always loved seeing the creations of others and the wonderful stories they tell using their creativity. For so long I've thought about taking my shot at writing my own story, and even though I've had my doubts finally taking that step into doing so! Please let me know what to improve as I can only get better by keeping at it and learning more. With that being said let's get on with the story!
DISCLAIMER: I do not own the copyrights to Avatar: The Last Airbender or the Star Wars franchise, those are owned by Nickelodeon and Disney, what I do own are the OCs in my story
(Si Wong Desert, 95 AG) (Afternoon)
Anguish and grief suddenly consumed Iroh once again after his quest to save Lu Ten from the spirit world had failed, forcing Iroh to realize that Lu Ten was truly gone. After the retreat and humiliation from the siege of Ba Sing Se, the Dragon of the West went on to travel the world, searching for a way to bring back his fallen son. Iroh scoured high and low, going to the corners of the nations and picking up trails from sources and rumors he gathered from the dives he passed by. One rumor talked of an entrance to the spirit world by an oasis in the Si Wong Desert that had a strong connection and acted as a portal, only for Iroh to find a desolate area devoided of water and life. Iroh fell to his knees as the fire to look for his son had been extinguished by the last lead that he could follow, tears were building in his eyes as he thought of his journey.
"Lu Ten," Iroh sobbed, "you truly are gone, my son!"
As Iroh was trying to contemplate accepting this fate, a ball of fire came soaring through the atmosphere, grabbing Iroh's attention as he watched the ball of fire crash not too far from his location, creating an almost deafening noise as soon as the object of interest made contact with one of the sand dunes. Alert and tense, Iroh checks his immediate surroundings for any threat to him, as soon as he was sure there wasn't the possibility of an attack on him, he made a beeline toward the crash wondering what the scene looks like, or if he incurred the wrath of a spirit.
(Crashsight of downed Jedi starfighter)
The sight of the wreck was revealed to be not the remains of a fiery rock but a starship with a destroyed metallic astro droid was nonother but that a Jedi starship, the heroes of the Republic, and also the commanding officers of the Grand Army of the Republic. Inside the cockpit of the totaled starcraft held an unconscious boy of 13 years garbed in Beige robes, who had a pale complexion and curtain bang of short dark hair with a braid in the back of his head. As the boy was stirring he was currently experiencing flashbacks of the horrors he experienced in trying to escape a genocide.
Shock and fright were held in Yoto's Amber eyes as he witness Master Skywalker cut down youngling after youngling, the clones blasting those who were trying to run away. Yoto was shaken from his fear as his Master jolted him to get focused once again.
"YOTO!" Screamed Master Krisdwa Gallhen, "Come to your senses, you need to RUN!" Master Gallhen ignited his sapphire lightsaber as he stood in front of Yoto, a grim demeanor on his face.
Yoto rebutted, "No! Master, I can't leave you, there's too many we need to le-" Yoto was cut short as he felt himself being force pushed away from his master and onto the other side of the hallway. Yoto Looked up with tears flowing from his eyes as he looked at Master Gallhen, who brandished one of the brightest smiles he's ever seen before.
"Make sure you make your way to the spaceport, Calken standing by ready to get you to safety, somewhere in which the Jedi will find a way to live," Master Gallhen explained " Remember with the force you are never truly alone, make sure you keep up with your training and meditations! And Yoto… I'm proud of you, may the force be with you," were the last words Yoto heard from his master before he destroyed the panel for the door with his lightsaber, prohibiting anyone from entering.
"NOOOOOOOO!" Yoto screamed, soon after that he felt his master become one with the force.
Yoto popped up with a gasp as soon as he awoke from his unplanned slumber. Amber's eyes looked around their surroundings, scanning the environment and trying to figure out what planet Yoto arrived on. When Yoto saw all of the sand around him, he theorized that he ended up crash-landing on Tatooine.
"Great, Tatooine is definitely the planet I wanted to end up on," Yoto thought sarcastically, "Of all the planets, why does it gotta be Tatooine? Just sand, sand, and more sand! Though I wonder if the sand people's aim is really as bad as people say it is," Yoto opened the starfighter and tried to climb out only to cry out in pain as he felt a burning pain when trying to use his left arm to push himself up, looking at his shoulder and realizing that he dislocated it. "Talk about adding injury to insult," Yoto sighed as he managed to start crawling out of the destroyed starfighter.
Just as Yoto got out of the starfighter, he took a misstep onto the sand and fell down from the top of the sand dunes. As he got to the bottom of the dune all of the adrenaline was sapped from Yoto due to the events that happened to him in the last 24 hours having finally caught up to him. As his eyelids began to close, he saw a figure running toward him, his mind mistakenly took it for Master Gallhen soon thereafter he closes his eyes, falling unconscious.
Soon as Yoto passed out, Iroh finally reached the crash site, discovering the unconscious boy and a strange small metal boat at the epicenter of the crash. "A boat in the middle of the desert, how can this be?" Iroh ponder as he ran his hand through his beard as he approached the boy. Looking at the child, Iroh realized he couldn't be much older than his nephew Zuko and the boy looked to be of fire nation descent as well. Not wanting the boy to become a victim of the desert, Iroh picks up the child and puts him over his shoulder then looks over to the strange boat. Curious, Iroh makes his way to the point of interest and looks inside, seeing many strange buttons and levers with strange symbols right next to them. Iroh then sees a knapsack and a strange cylinder device at the bottom of the vehicle, it is almost as if an invisible force suddenly told Iroh to grab the metal cylinder and put it into the knapsack. "Well friend," Iroh says," Let us get you to safety because wherever you came from was from a place of severe conflict,". Iroh looked over the Horizon and saw the blistering sun setting soon, Then hurriedly made his way on to civilization.
