Moxxie could last remember the song's riff echoing throughout the building before his vision went black. Waking up after what felt like an eternity, Moxxie stirred back into control, feeling himself stumble after the switch.

"The hell did you do..?" Moxxie slurred as he fully woke up, seeing every angel dead in the lobby. Either stabbed, sliced, beheaded, or killed in whatever way Maxiel rolls with.

"Helping!" Maxiel commented in the demon's head with what felt like a smile.

"I hate you."

"Awwww! I love you too!" The angel responded sarcastically.

Moxxie sighed deeply in defeat, making his way to the elevator, and shoving the bodies that lay motionless out of it.

"Seriously? You had to kill them before they even entered?"

"I could have teabagged." he giggled in Moxxies mind once more.

"Wow." He finished in an annoyed tone, rolling his eyes so far back it must have reached his brain and back.

The elevator door closed, and the whirring of the gears flushed out any audible sounds as it went up. Moxxie on the other hand was impatient, rapidly tapping his foot on the elevator floor making it sway and shake lightly. They needed a plan; He couldn't just go into a battle without thinking. Maxiel was a phenomenal example of what NOT to do. He huffed and began to pace as the elevator continues to slowly but surely get to the top floor. There was a lot of thinking they had to do, and quickly, going against an angel that overthrew Michael, and took his friends with ease was a big red flag.

"How are we going to stop Jophiel? I mean she's more powerful than any of us!"

"Well, who knows...maybe Michael will come back."

"He's not coming back! He up and left!"

"Well, you don't know that, he's the Prime Angel, our leader..." Maxiel paused, "He wouldn't leave heaven." Moxxie could notice a little bit of doubt forming as the angel spoke his last sentence. Did he really have a part of him that thought he was coming back? Was he really that naive? Or was he right? Was the angel coming back with help? Only time would tell...

There was a ding.

Too soon...it was WAY too soon...

"Time to get your poker face on Moxxie," Maxiel warned, ready for what was to come.

He gave a little nod of understanding as what they are going to step into was going to either end well or horribly wrong. It was in the odds of the man Upstairs. Not themselves.

The hallways carried the same familiarity of the building Moxxie and Michael was housed in but seemed to have a more flashy trim. Laced with white marble and gold flakes instead of silver. This was the top floor? There was not a single guard in sight...

"Something doesn't feel right.."

"Yeah, maybe we shouldn't go this way then."

"Wait— why?" Moxxie stopped in his tracks, tilting his head in confusion.

"Have you never seen a horror movie? This screams main character stupidity." Maxiel commented bluntly.

"Okay— okay! I'll go a different way." Moxxie turned away from the main hallway and took one of the hallways to the left.

As Moxxie scanned for any interesting rooms or anything that would lead to Johpiel or his friends, a guard walked across the intersection. Moxxie moved quickly and quietly behind a marble pillar and held his breath. The angel was clueless, skinny, and scrawny, and Maxiel whispered quietly in his head.

"Seriously, this is a high angel? Pft! We could kick his ass."

"No! We aren't! Looks don't matter with angels..." Moxxie said in a yelling whisper, "For I know the kid could kick my ass. Our. Asses."

"Fair,"

The angel walked away and continued his patrol, leaving the room he was guarding. What was so important behind those doors? Both Moxxie and Maxiel took a deep sigh of relief, and Moxxie used his new power and opened the door with ease.

Inside, Moxxie froze up, but quickly he regained his composure.

"Guys!?"

Millie yelled through the gag, having chew marks in the fabric, while Loona and Stolas were tranqed. Blitzo on the other hand was just chilling with a knowing smirk.

"Heeeeeeyyyyyyy Moxxxxxxxx..." Blitzo slurred, making a drunk chuckle.

"Well, Blitzo is high...higher than heaven in a sense," Maxiel commented with a chortle.

"Hi?" Moxxie stood there confused looking at the drunk Blitzo, before Millie growled through the gag, making Moxxie quickly run over.

"Sorry Millie," Moxxie pulled out one of his angel blades which was now stained red to the hilt of the blade. He slashed the rope and it sizzled, burning and unraveling at the ends. His wings made a light flap as he stepped back. Blitzo stumbled like a sailor right into one of the storage crates, while Millie quickly pulled off her gag and hugged Moxxie tightly.

"Mox!" She exclaimed but quickly pulled back. "Wait— are you? Or Maxiel?" She questioned.

"It's me, Millie."

"Oh thank god!" She ran up for another hug, making him stumble backward again kissing Moxxie on the cheek a few times before letting go.

"Please tell me you have a plan?" She said with a wide smile.

"No, we don't."

Millie paused with a confused expression.

"We..?"

"Oh...uh...she doesn't know about...um...us."

Moxxie chuckled awkwardly and looked at her as his wings rustled behind him,

"Heh...by we, I mean...me and Maxiel."

Millie gasped, and Blitzo did a delayed gasp, not knowing what the hell was going on around him before throwing his face on the wood crate again.

"Your working with the angel!?"

"Yeah...?" Moxxie almost said questioning himself in his answer. It didn't sound that bad, well unless Millie put it the way she did— making it sound like it was a bad thing. "Im fine tho, he helped me get here...to find you guys." He reassured Millie, giving her a light smile.

"Well alright, I guess ill give him that. But what are we going to do with them?" She gestured to Loona, Blitzo, and Stolas all out like a light either on the floor or leaning on a crate.

"We could leave them?" Moxxie insisted. He wasn't very wrong, they were just going to get in the way until the sedatives and tranqs were going to weaken, so it was for the better.

"Huh, yeah. You sure as hell got a point." She looked at Moxxie.

"Shall we kick some ass?" She questioned, pulling out the mace she somehow just spawned in.

"We shall."

They both walk out of the room with speed and confidence.

But the clock on Maxiel was still ticking down...they needed to be quick if they wanted to win.

"We need to find that sad wife before things go down." Millie snarled at the thought.

Moxxie paused, surprised by Millie's hatred towards Jophiel. He couldn't not agree when it came to Jophiel being a bitch of an angel. He would take Michael any day of the year.

"Well someones unhappy." Maxiel commented in the demons mind. "But that's not a good thing, she could seriously hurt herself." The angel quickly added.

"Millie," He spoke, with a more caring and calm tone.

"Yeah Mox?" She said, also calming down a little bit as they slowed down in the hallway.

"Maybe we shouldn't do this head on. It could be dangerous, for me and you."

"When have you ever been concerned with my safety? You know I can handle myself.." Millie stopped, not wanting to sound egotistical even if it was true that she could easily be on her own when it came to fighting.

"I know, but still. This isn't like a clients request. There are angels, Millie." Moxxie said in a slower tone, hoping to get his point across a little better.

Millie sighed, knowing that this was 'Protective Moxxie' speaking at the moment, and she had to give it to him. He most likely knew that going in without a plan was a smart move. The duo was out of their league, and they needed a good execution. And in order to do that, they needed a flawless plan.
