The night of the fair, when Wednesday had taken on the Hyde and killed it, had torn it apart and decapitated the creature to keep as a trophy in their room. Everytime Enid saw it, she shuddered and looked away, an uncomfortable churning within her stomach. Her wolf huffed, seemingly annoyed by her squeamishness, she ignored it and went back to whatever she was doing.

She spent more time outside of the dorm, away from Wednesday, to work on some sort of boat? It infuriated the young demon for their mate to draw away like this, and they would take it out in fencing class, often going against both Bianca Barley, and their own father. One, was the captain of the team, who begged them to join the team, and Gomez simply acted as a secondary coach, usually going against students and teaching them the correct way to hold a sword. Typical, that no one but Barclay could provide them with a proper challenge.

As such, both were without their gear, holding only their sabers as they duelled in the courtyard. Wednesday was smirking, feeling comfortable enough to snarl and snap at the siren, their movements switching from defense to offensive and arcing in careful, yet powerful strikes. Barclay jumped back, climbing onto a table for better ground. She hoped that elevated ground would help her keep from being caught with a blade. Wednesday seemed unbothered by the change of angle, a gentle huff and a switch from the left to the right hand was the only significant response from them. They blocked strikes, not finding the fight very tiring, unlike their opponent, who was beginning to look winded and tired. Wednesday's lips curled into a small smile and they took the opportunity, swiping their blade across Bianca's unprotected hand. She let go of her weapon, crying out in pain and flinching back as Wednesday pressed their blade carefully against her neck.

"Yield Barclay, we've proven who is superior here."

"Lucky strike Addams, that's all it was."

"Even so, a deal is met and one knows to never disobey a deal with an Addams."

Bianca scoffed, picking her sabre back up and stared down at Wednesday.

"Alright, Yeah it was me. I snuck the garlic bread in..." Wednesday scoffed, disappointed at the siren's behavior. Yes, there were no rules in the Poe cup's championship, but it was unsportsmanlike to poison another of the competition. Usually, Wednesday would be fine with such a thing, but since it was Tanaka, they were rightfully annoyed.

"I'll have to be stedfast in her position then, won't I?" Wednesday felt a pleased growl rise in their throat, a soft rumble that only Bianca could hear as she stepped away and off of the table.

"I'll see you on the water, Addams."
