A green-haired woman and a blonde-haired man stood in front of an injured husk of a woman.
The blonde turned to the greenett and said, "Come on, Professor; it's time we ended this."
Both of them struck at the husk, causing it to fall with a blood-curdling yell.
The blonde man turned back to the greenett and said. "we did it, we finally did it, the war is."
He didn't get to finish what he was saying as he was impaled by the husk in a last attempt to do anything.
As the man and the husk lay dead, the greenett heard a voice in the back of her head. "I think it's about time we go back," the voice said. The greenett replied to the shock of the voice. "I want to go back further this time."
the voice calmed itself down and said. "If we where to do so, we would bolth lose the memorys of everything that has happened so far. And it could also fundamentally change what little personality you have."
"Do it!" the greenett says as everything goes black.
Imperial Year 1171
Jeralt's Mercenaries current job is to escort Lord Volkhard Von Arundel and his ten-year-old niece back to the Adrestian Empire
After an uneventful day Jeralt decides to set up camp for the night
Mercenary camp
A clash of metal on metal rang throughout the clearing the mercenary camp was in. As from behind A tree A young brown haired Edelgard watched as A blue haired girl roughly her age sparred with the captain of the mercenaries.
A few minutes later captain Jeralt knocked the sword out of the blue haired girl's hands knocking her over in the process. Startled Edelgard stepped back onto A twig snapping it alerting the two to her presence. "You can come out from back there" Jeralt stated as he helped his daughter up as Edelgard slowly slinked out from behind the trees. "Oh your one that we're supposed to be escorting" "yes" answered Edelgard "I'm Edelgard Von Hresvelg of the Adrestian Empire." Jeralt looked at his daughter as he put A hand on her back and told her "why don't you introduce yourself" "I-I'm By-Byleth E-Eisner" she stuttered "It's n-nice to m-m-meet y-you"
(Time skip a few weeks brought to you by Byleth and Edelgard getting to know each other better because I just don't want to write that)
Jeralt's Mercenaries had safely made it back to the capital of the Empire
"Uncle uncle can I show Byleth around" asked an excited Edelgard "fine just get permission from the girl's father first" Volkhard answered distracted by something.
"Captain Jeralt can I show your daughter around the capitol" Edelgard asked happily with Byleth right beside her "sure oh and Byleth happy birthday" Jeralt answered as Edelgard dragged Byleth with her deeper into the city.
(An hour or two of exploring later)
Edelgard was introducing Byleth to her siblings when A large group of Bandits came through the walls trying to kidnap Edelgard, and her siblings. While Byleth tried to fight off the bandits to little success as a big explosion goes off knocking Byleth unconscious as the bandits grab her as well.
Noticing the commotion Jeralt ran to the site of the explosion only to find Byleth's sword sticking out of the rubble. Distraught and thinking the worst Jeralt fell to his knees tears already falling as he grabs his daughters sword slowly bringing it closer as tears hit the scratched metal of the blade as a small group of Jeralt's Mercenaries showed up and noticed what happened
Location Byleth
The bandits took Byleth, Edelgard, and her siblings deep under the Imperial Palace. Where the bandits threw the captives in front of a dark Bishop and demanded payment. The dark Bishop just picked up a book and cast Ragnarok killing all the bandits instantly.
Ordering the guards to take the Royals the dark Bishop takes a good look at Byleth and feels an interesting power.
Grabbing Byleth by her hair, waking her up in the process the dark bishop dragged her to A line of cells and locked her up in the same cell as Edelgard but not before Byleth snuck A fire tome from the dark bishop.
Location Jeralt
"Sir what happened?" A mercenary asked, "I-I don't know" Jeralt said fighting tears. "Is Is that" the mercenary asked unable to finish what he was saying due to the tears starting to fall. Jeralt only nodded as he wiped away his tears and carefully put the slightly singed sword into his pack, stood up and said "I need to go somewhere." "Wherever you need to go we'll go there with you" the mercenary quickly said straightening up and saluting Jeralt "No this is something I need to do myself" Jeralt said gravely as he placed his hand on the orange haired mercenary's shoulder "Pinelli I'll need you to take over for A while" the mercenary nodded as Jeralt made his way to and mounted his horse riding out of the city towards Garreg Mach Monastery.
Time skip to
Imperial year 1174
Location Byleth
"Three years, today Marks three years of this torture" remarked a now white-haired Edelgard "three years and we're the only survivors" she looked over at A similarly white haired Byleth who was studying a Heal tome.
A clank could be heard as A guard opened the cell door "you two, you are free to go" he bellowed in a surprisingly soft but gruff voice
"w-w-we're f-free t-t-to g-go" Byleth asked in a soft meek voice that has clearly hasn't spoken for a while.
"It is as I said you two are free to go" the guard repeated himself "oh and you" he looks at Byleth "you have been adopted by the emperor due to your father selling you off."
The combined shock of everything had thrown Byleth into A violent bloody coughing fit. Edelgard quickly grabbed the Heal tome and used it to stop Byleth's coughing fit.
Imperial year 1180
Edelgard, Byleth, Claude, and Dimitri were all running away from Bandits when they came across a mercenary group in Remire Village as the bandits close in.
(Battle skip cuz I really don't want to write the tutorial)
Kostas pissed off that he was beaten by A bunch of noble brats jumps up and charges Edelgard axe drawn.
Noticing the charging bandit Byleth jump in front of Edelgard prepared to take the axe to the back to save her sister. But before the axe could hit her time seemed to stop and bolth Byleth and Edelgard were drawn into a black void with A green haired girl sitting on A throne in the middle
Sothis mindscape
(Sothis) Honestly. What are you accomplishing with that little st-. Oh this is not how it's supposed to happen oh well.
(Edelgard) Is this the girl you've been having dreams of.
(Byleth) 'nods head'
(Sothis) Anyways my name is Sothis also known as the Beginning, And it seems that we're bound by forces beyond our control. But lucky for you two. I have managed to stop time if only temporarily.
(Edelgard) Stop time?
(Sothis) Hm. I do not hear your gratitude. Perhaps I should force you to leave
(Byleth,Edelgard) 'bows in gratitude'
(Sothis) There now. Was that too much to ask. I did deem you two worth saving after all.
(Edelgard) What happens when time resumes.
(Sothis) When time begins again, The axe will tear into her flesh, 'points at Byleth' And all three of us will probably meet our end.
How rude of you two to drag me into this. Now what to do.
(Byleth) 'Pondering'
(Sothis) Ahh I know. I can turn back the hands of time. 'A magical circle featuring the crest of flames and other crests appears in front of Sothis' Yes...
I do believe it can be done. This is really quite troublesome.
I cannot wind time back far, But all is well you should be aware of what's to happen, Which means you can protect yourself
Location Remire Village

But before he could hit Edelgard. Byleth jumped in between them parrying his axe and launching it out of his hands
Before Kostas could do anything else the Knights of Seiros appeared and forced him to retreat.
