Satsuki woke up in a cage that was flying in the sky. As she looked out she saw these strange looking creatures looking like horses though very skeletal like with wings like a bat, their faces resemble reptiles in certain areas.

"Ah, the beast is awake!" yelled the man driving the carriage carrying her cage.

"Beast?" she questioned.

"Sorry, I'm not sure what to call yer we don' have yer lot 'round here."

"I'm what's known as a kitsune, nine tailed fox."

"Oh yer definitely not from 'round here, sorry to 'ear that you've been takin so far from yer home, wish I could help but it's me job and I needs to feed me fam." He said with a sad look in his eyes.

"I do not blame you kind sir, but may I ask why you do what you do not love. Why do this when it clearly does not sit well with you."

"Me fam, they are very sick n' not many will hire me because I'm not exactly liked much."

"Why?"

"I'm a werewolf."

"Oh." She sighed as she leaned against the bars of her cage " What are those creatures that are pulling the carriage?"

"Thestrals. They're known fer only being seen by those who have witnessed death." he answered, seeing her confusion.

" Oh the poor things must not be looked at too kindly."

"Yer seems to speak our language pretty well fer someone who wasn't born in these parts." he observed.

"Well my kind are known to familiarise ourselves with language quickly."

"Must be nice, we're almost to yer new home, or cell. Apologise again but can I ask yer name?"

"Satsuki, and yours?"

"Theo. I hope they treat yer well." he expressed with sadness in his gruff voice.

"I'll be alright. . ." she hoped.

Many months passed and all Satsuki did was play tricks in a show her captors called a beast parade. As the months turned to years Satsuki decided to unleash her power during the winter solstice when her power was the strongest she did just that and freed every other 'beast' in the show.

When she was out of range of the poachers' magical sticks they carried around she turned into her kitsune form and ran as far as she could without stopping or looking behind.
